The voice appeared again, Crimea sighed and ignored it, focusing on walking back home and eat, he was starving, but he still couldn't stop feeling weird about using his powers after such a long time without the need to.
Upon reaching his house, he opened the door and walked inside as silently as possible, closing the door slowly, and then going to the kitchen. He opened the fridge, and there it was.
He grabbed the leftovers and ate them still cold, just wanting to eat and go to bed as soon as possible. He was surprised that even cold he loved how it tasted.
When he finished the plate, he stood up and quickly washed it. Crimea learned to appreciate this simple moments, after all, while Maki studied, and his Mom mourned over his father's death, he was the one to take care of the house.
Once it was clean and dry, he stored the plate on the cabinet and yawned loudly, walking to his room, and plopping down on his bed. He then raised his new dagger and inspected it.
"Blood Maiden heh? Sounds fitting" He whispered, sheathing it and hiding it bellow his bed. Crimea proceeded to inspect his arm, still feeling itchy after using his power, he felt more relaxed, it had been too long since he felt the need to use his powers, but it wasn't because of the monster's strength or anything, he used them just because The Judge broke his dagger and he was tired enough.
Crimea proceeded to think about other things, like the mysterious note he found sometime ago, and about the portal summoner. He wanted to know more about both things, but he didn't had any lead to follow. Soon enough, he felt ready and closed his eyes, drifting off to sleep.
- Morning, same day -
The soft breeze found their way inside, accompanied by the birds singing and sunlight. Crimea woke up, feeling still a bit tired, but since he couldn't just remain sleeping, he sat up and yawned.
"Mmm... Hours" He muttered, grabbing his phone and turning it on, seeing it was 07:00 he sighed and stood up, stretching his arm and walking to the bathroom, careful not to wake his mom and sister. After showering and brushing his teeth, he entered the living room, still drying his hair.
His eyes widened as he saw his Mom, already up and about, cleaning some dust of a old album. He then remembered seeing that album before, it was filled with horrifying family photos. He shook his head, also shaking the memories again, but then felt a slap on his back.
"Hey! Your hair is still wet, asshole!" Maki yelled, drying the wet drops of her own hair. "Jeez... It's freezing... You took a cold shower?!" She added, dramatically covering herself as if she was in the middle of a blizzard.
Crimea just blinked his eyes rapidly. "Yeah, i did, why?" He asked, massaging his chin.
Crimea had this habit, for some reason he felt better after a cold shower, especially in the morning, it also felt better on his scars.
Maki pouted and crossed her arms. "It's going to be freezing inside the bathroom now!" She exclaimed, plopping down on the couch. "Crimea, you better know! You're the responsible if i arrive late at school just because i need the bathroom to warm up!"
Makawa heard that and smiled menacingly at Maki, who immediately got the message and walked towards the bathroom. Crimea approached his Mom and crossed his arms.
"I wish i had the same effect" He said, opening the curtains.
"You mean the smile?" Makawa chuckled, putting the album down and standing up. "Only Mothers have that power, Crimea" She added, walking to the kitchen. Crimea nodded and followed behind.
- Meanwhile... Kim quickly put his clothes on and left his apartment, rushing towards the Hunters Association, he didn't want to be late for his first raid mission.
He eventually saw the Huge Building, and got inside, searching around for someone who matched the appearances of the other guy who was there to help 6 lower rank hunters, and to surveillance the prisoners, that were allowed to join the raid in exchange for reduced sentences. The Association explained to Kim, that they took this approach due to the shortage of hunters since the leaks started happened.
"Purple hair... Matching eyes..." Kim whispered, looking around the hall until finally spotting the guy. He approached him and waved.
"Hey! You're Taeshik, right?" He asked, and the purple-haired man turned to him and nodded.
"That's right... I suppose you're Juwon Kim?" He asked, offering his hand for a handshake. "I heard you don't even measured your rank, heh? You must be pretty strong for the Association to send you for this mission as a kind of... Tutorial." The man added, smiling eerily, knowing that the Association also did that because of the shortage of hunters, since in normal conditions, the Association would never allow a NM-Rank (Non Measured Rank) to participate in such missions.
Kim chuckled and pulled his hair back. "Well, they said i should mostly watch, to see how it looks like, you know?" Kim said, accepting the handshake. Taeshik giggle and nodded.
"Well, it sure won't be a example, i doubt the prisoners will be example of anything" Taeshik replied. Both him and Kim remained laughing until interrupted by a "Hello?"
They looked towards the source of the sound and saw the 6 hunters, that were going to the raid too, watching them.
Everyone introduced themselves, and before going out, Taeshik checked a piece of paper.
"Sung Jin-Woo... Kim Sangshik... Kang Jeongho... Song Chi-Yul... Lee Joohee... Juwon Kim... And me" He said, putting the paper on his pocket. "We're all set, let's go to the portal area, we're meeting the prisoners there."
It was a quick ride, the portal for the C-Rank Dungeon glowed brightly in the construction site. Kim looked at it through the window of the van and smirked, clenching his fists.
"Damn, I'm ready" He said, his voice filled with determination and excitement.
Lee Joohee giggled, while Sung Jin-Woo blinked his eyes several times. "Well, well... Just don't give me too much trouble, Jin-Woo here is already a worry." She added, poking Jin-Woo's side.
S
ong Chi-Yul laughed and crossed his arms, remembering how he used to see Young hunters just like Kim. "Juwon Kim, right?" He asked, opening one of his eyes. "Your name has been around I'm sure. A rookie first dungeon is never a Rank C."
Kim rolled his eyes and smirked arrogantly. "Well... Some people just have what it takes" He said, transforming his fingers into claws. "And it seems i am one of those."
Both Song Chi-Yul and Lee Joohee, accompanied by the other 2 hunters that were next to them, laughed out loud, while Jin-Woo remained silent, looking into the void, and Taeshik driving the Van.
...
"That was a very bad idea... I mean, is the Association crazy?! Sending off prisoners to dungeons?!" Kureha exclaimed, tapping nervously on her shoulder. Castro, who was grabbing her bag from the back of the SUV, looked at the group walking to the portal and shrugged.
"I don't agree either, but unfortunately they're low in hunters." He said calmly, methodically almost, handling the bag to Kureha, who grabbed it with ease and from inside, removed a tablet.
"Uhh...Let's see" She whispered, searching around her messages for the information she received. Kureha, and her family, were on the trail after the secret company that was raiding dungeons while they were being cleaned.
She opened the files and saw, along with some photos, a lot of reports that were suspicious. She looked at Castro, who nodded, confirming that the reports were indeed correct.
She continued reading through them, hoping to find at least a tiny hint of a possible location, not of the main building, but the decoys. Her trained eyes quickly found what she was looking for. "Gotcha!" She beamed excitedly, squinting her eyes and reading:
"Hmm... Industrial Area, medium sized dusty building with a big parking lot besides... Used to pass through there in my way to work, still remember the old donut shop that was a bit further down the street."
After reading the sighting report, she instantly remembered someone, and grabbed her phone. "Castro! To Coffee's Delight!"
As their SUV disappeared into the city, the group escalated to the C-Rank dungeon checked their gear and met the 3 prisoners, that were extremely excited, after some quick introductions, they approached the portal.
...
"Imagine needing weapons" Kim joked, walking past Jin-Woo and Song Chi-Yul with his arms already transformed, covered in scales and tiny sparks. Jin-Woo shook his head and after inspecting his dagger, he turned to Lee Joohee and the other 2 survivors. "Ready?"
Lee Joohee, Kim Sangshik and Kang Jeongho nodded, walking towards the portal. Joohee still a bit scared since the Double Dungeon. Jin-Woo put his hand on her shoulder and nodded reassuringly. "Just focus on healing" He said, following the others.
Taeshik smirked and then entered the portal, followed by everyone else.
Their surroundings turned into a ruin-like scenario, with debris and clutter, nature was taking over of the place, vines around the walls. Every survivor of the Double Dungeon, besides Jin-Woo, walked closed to each other, still feeling a hint of fear. Kim looked around and sighed, already waiting for monsters to appear from the ground or something.
But then, Taeshik raised his dagger, making everyone stop in their tracks, he then pointed with his head towards a monster on the ceiling.
It was a goblin, secured by a rope that was deep inside the rocky ceiling, obviously the goblin was dead, his neck almost purple with the strain of the tightening rope. Joohee eyes widened in disgust, Song Chi-Yul covered her mouth and held her. "The fuck?" He muttered, looking at the dead goblin.
Taeshik slowly approached, Kim followed but then with a click, the goblin fell on the floor. Kim stepped on a trap, and maybe it was the goblin. Taeshik glared at Kim, but shook his head, kneeling down and checking the dead goblin corpse.
Jin-Woo then walked in front and used his acute vision to see if there was any other traps around. He didn't spot any, but remained cautious whatsoever.
"What happened?" Kim Sangshik asked, looking down at the dead goblin. Taeshik looked at him, and then one of the prisoners spoke: "It killed itself? Damn, that's sad" He mocked, stepping on the corpse's head, crushing it in a pool of dark blood.
Everyone stumbled back in disgust, Joohee frowned and fell to the floor, remembering when one of the Statues stepped onto one of the hunters that were with her on the double dungeon.
Jin-Woo also remembered the scene, but with a strong mental, he simply approached the prisoner and put his dagger on his neck. "Be quiet, I'm warning you" He whispered slowly, he was afraid that the sound could have awakened other goblins, or worse and more powerful monsters.
Kim walked besides Jin-Woo, chuckling in excitement. He didn't said anything, knowing Jin-Woo was focused on avoiding traps, and since he already stepped on one, he started being carefully too. The group delved deeper into the ruined dungeon, it was surprisingly empty, and the goblins they found along the way were already dead, but instead of being hanging around in the ceiling, were on the floor, with limbs missing and flesh ripped apart.
"What if... Something ate them?" Kim asked, resting his arms behind his head, stopping right after since the scales weren't too comfortable.
Taeshik massaged his chin, and after thinking for some time, nodded. "It's plausible... Considering their state."
Joohee then followed with a question: "But... Why did the first one apparently kill himself?"
Taeshik smirked and then returned to a serious face. "Hihi... Maybe didn't want the same fate as his buddies."
"What's so funny?" Jin-Woo asked, giving Taeshik a side glare.
Taeshik turned to Jin-Woo and straightened his posture. "Nothing... Just... Remembered something, from a previous mission" He responded. Jin-Woo frowned, but returned his focus to find any traps.
But the ground suddenly stopped moving, getting in formation, except the prisoners. They had heard a growl, and a scary one. A deep fog started rising from the floor, worsening their awareness. Only Taeshik and Sung Jin-Woo were still capable of hearing something. The growl could be heard again, followed by another one, and then other.
'3? 3 monsters? Or just one?' He thought to himself, readying his dagger for the worst scenario possible.
The fog only got more dense, forcing Kim and the other ones to start couching, clearly it wasn't just a normal fog.
Then, out of one hole, a beast came out, bitting onto one of the prisoners arm and parting it from the body, quickly running back away into a hole, leaving a trail of blood. The prisoner screamed out in pain, and it seems that was the beasts way of hunt, confuse the enemy with traps and distractions, like the goblins, wait until the prey was on a nice place, like the rounded room they were in, that facilitated the beasts mobility, and then suppress the prey with the weird fog, only to rip it apart limb by limb, exactly like the goblins.
As Jinwoo thought of all that, they heard another one coming, but this time Taeshik saved the other 2 prisoners and then shouted: "I'm going after it, the 2 idiots, with me!"
Jinwoo, and the rest were confused, but didn't had any other plan, after all, Taeshik was the stronger one there. The 2 prisoners nodded, and ran behind Taeshik after the beast that escaped after missing it's attack.
If Jin-Woo was correct, they needed to take care of the 2 other beasts. He looked behind and noticed the fog slowly dissipating, but as if trying to take advantage of it while it was still there, a third beasts appeared, reassembling a boar, and a big one. It came at full speed, aiming his thick skull at Joohee, but when it was almost there, Kim successfully punched it's side, sending it reeling back towards a wall, debris falling onto it.
The punch however, also wounded Kim's scaly hand, making it bleed lightly. "Shit..." He sighed, seeing the blood. "Motherfucker's skin is harder than..."
Joohee approached him, holding his dagger and using her healing powers to stop the bleeding. Kim hesitated finishing his line, especially not in front of a lady. He nodded at Joohee, who bowed slightly. "Thanks"
Sung Jin-Woo dashed towards the fallen boar and carbed his dagger onto the monster's softer belly, cutting through it. The boar roared in pain, but quickly died, turning into black dust. Joohee felt sad after hearing such horrible cries, but Song Chi-Yul approached her and Kim.
"It's okay..." He was visibly tired, and hurt. Joohee made him lay down and noticed that his chest a little sunken. The air glowed in a golden glow as she started healing him slowly.
"What happened to you, old man?" Kim asked, kneeling down next to him, while Jin-Woo approached.
"Ahm..was slammed by one... Couldn't see because of the fog." He responded, smiling weakly. While Joohee kept concentrated at healing her ally, Kim stood up, standing besides Jinwoo.
As the dust raised from the attacks started to settle down, Jin-Woo looked around and realized that the other 2 were missing.
"Kim Sangshik and Kang Jeongho... Where are they?" He asked, prompting the others to look around and reach the same conclusion. But, Song Chi-Yul wasn't good to go, and he needed JooHee there to keep him stable.
Kim looked at Sung Jin-Woo. "I'll go" He said, standing up and clenching his fists, but Jin-Woo ignored and turned to go search. It was then, that they heard something that paralyzed them completely.
Screams, and desperate ones. It didn't took long for Jin-Woo, Joohee and Chi-Yul to recognize the voice, it was Kang Jeongho. The decision was made, in lightning speeds Kim and Jin-Woo rushed towards the direction of the screams, that stopped and then were followed by Sangshik's ones.
Joohee and Chi-Yul both stood up and nodded at eachother, with Joohee helping Chi-Yul, they followed behind.
When Kim and Jin-Woo reached the source of the screams, they saw Taeshik covered in blood, Kang Jeongho severed apart on the floor next to him. The three prisoners coldly executed on especially sharp crystals. Sangshik was also extremely injured, trying to crawl away, clinging to his already fainting life.
Taeshik noticed Kim and Jin-Woo, and frowned. "Oh really?" He whispered, cleaning his knife. "I thought this was going to be easier!" He exclaimed, dashing and swinging at Kim, successfully cutting Kim's abdomen. But Jin-Woo was right there, and grabbed Taeshik by the hair and slammed him onto the rocky wall next to them.
Kim groaned in pain, raising his shirt to see a deep wound on his lower abs, flooding with blood. Joohee put Chi-Yul down carefully and approached Kim, using her healing magic.
Meanwhile, Taeshik giggled maliciously and used the wall as support to jump off Sung Jin-Woo hold, rolling backwards and then throwing his knife at full speed. Jinwoo barely dodged it, but since he did, he followed by running towards Taeshik, ready to cut his head off.
Taeshik smirked, jumping and using Jin-Woo as leverage, propping him closer to his knife, he grabbed it off the floor, and with a sinister grin, his skill was activated.
"Stealth"
His body dissolved in thin air, confusing everyone. Then, a dread aura suddenly covered Joohee, her eyes widened as she felt a cold, and sharp, sensation on her throat.
Chi-Yul noticed it and stood up weakly, throwing a fire ball at the invisible one behind her. Taeshik eyes glowed and he dodged it, turning invisible again, only to get smashes by one of Kim's punches.
"So... It is not... Continuous.." Kim whispered, still weak from the wound. But his punch definitely wasn't, and Taeshik went flying towards the wall covered in sharp crystals where the prisoners were executed.
Taeshik knew it, and stopped mid-air by piercing his knife on the floor bellow him. He knew his technique had flaws, and one of them was just exposed. His invisibility "blinked" whenever a strong source of light was near, and the fireball was responsible for Kim to see him during a brief moment. He was impressed by the rookie's instincts and quick reaction.
"Not bad" He added, walking farther away from the glowing crystals, fading to invisibility again. Joohee ran to help Sangshik, but...
"Nope" Taeshik whispered darkly, piercing Sangshik jaw with his knife. "Sorry, lady... His destiny was already sealed."
Joohee eyes widened as she saw Kim Sangshik's face turn from fear to dread tranquility. Soon enough, his dead body fell onto the floor, releasing a wave of silence that echoed through the entire dungeon.
Chi-Yul gritted his teeth and his body was covered in flames, lighting the entire chamber with it's warm light. Taeshik was revealed again, and used his agile build to dodge the huge fireball that went on his direction, he gained his invisibility again while dashing to Chi-Yul.
With another sinister grin, Taeshik was behind Chi-Yul, who paralyzed in fear just like Joohee, he felt the same cold blade on his neck. But this time, Jin-Woo appeared behind Taeshik and kicked his side, lowering the skinny man and revealing him again.
Jin-Woo then followed with a wave of punches and swings with his dagger, cutting all across Taeshik's back, his suit now just rags. The purple haired man fell to the floor, being the one now clinging to life was weird, but he had something planned.
He looked at the corpse of Sangshik, that was being held by a Desperate Joohee, experiencing her trauma again, and smiled.
"Newborn"
His another skill was activated, and his body dissolved again, but right after appeared inside Sangshik. He used his knife to cut the body apart, arising from it covered in blood, still with the same stupid grin on his face.
Joohee screamed again and stumbled backwards. Jin-Woo eyes accompanied Kim's, both glowing with a newfound purpose. Both hunters dashed towards the blood-covered man, Jin-Woo readying his dagger, while Kim mutated his arm more and more, turning it into a sharp fang.
Taeshik saw them both aiming those sharp blades at his throat and frowned, readying his knife and dashing to confront both at close combat.
Then it started, a flurry of swings that couldn't be seen by naked eyes. Kim and Jin-Woo managed to overpower Taeshik's movements, and they seemed to be connected, fused together by a single objective: "Kill him." Kim and Jin-Woo whispered darkly, before Kim pierced Taeshik's stomach and Jin-Woo severed both arms.
Taeshik stumbled backwards, without the balance that disappeared due to the loss of his 2 arms, he rested against a crystal, that slowly got stained with blood. Jin-Woo and Kim walked slowly towards him.
"Uh... Aa... It... Wasn't easy" Taeshik coughed blood, looking down at the cold floor. Kim knelt down and grabbed his hair, pushing him up so he looked right into Jin-Woo's glowing blue eyes.
The glare pierced right through Taeshik's eyes, and he felt like a whole army was staring down at him, cowering in fetal pose, in the middle of a bloody war field. His brain couldn't understand what was happening, but it also didn't need to. His head was already rolling on the floor, Jin-Woo sighed and cleaned his dagger.
Kim looked at the head rolling around and kicked it, sending it flying towards the sharp crystals, being pierced by one of them, next to the dead prisoners.
The group grabbed the corpses of the fallen ones and carried them outside. Taeshik killed the boss, that was one of the beasts, so the portal was already closing.
Once they got out, Joohee knelt down and looked at the cloudy sky, remembering the jokes, teasing, and how she was happy before, on her way here, or ar least happier.
Chi-Yul looked at her and tried to comfort her again. "W-We s-shouldn't"
Before she finished, Kim approached and knelt down in front of her, raising his shirt so she saw the injury that Taeshik gave him, and that Joohee healed. "Don't say that. You saved people, not everyone, but... You don't need to" He said awkwardly, he never was good with this stuff, Kim was the strongest at school, he didn't need to comfort nobody.
Jin-Woo looked at their interaction and then back at the streets, already seeing the Mining team, and some of the cleaning department. He explained that since there were corpses inside, the monsters that could rise again were probably going to be stronger than they thought. The cleaning department hunters nodded, and headed straight inside.
...
Meanwhile, at Coffee's Delight.
...
Crimea was, as usually, cleaning cups behind the counter, while Mimaa took care of the customers, that were elderly people, since the shop has been there for ages. Mimaa was nice to them, too nice, it made Crimea a little uncomfortable. Such amount of sympathy was always seen by him as a tool, even if he knew that it wasn't Mimaa's case, she was just too nice for her own good.
His eyes then darted to Mimaa, who approached him with a order. "2 cups of black coffee, Crim~". Crimea nodded and quickly prepared them, handling it to Mimaa right after, who brought them to the clients. However, while Crimea resumed cleaning cups and bottles, the door sprung open, the familiar ring echoing through the cozy place made his eyes go up again.
"Yo" Kureha whispered, standing really close to Crimea's face, only inches apart. However, he kept composure, not even taking a step back. He noticed Castro, shaking his head at Kureha's behavior.
"What you want?" Crimea asked, crossing his arms. Kureha backed away a little and chuckled.
"Well... I wanted to ask for a favor~" She said, jokingly poking his chest. "And who else to should i go to?! I am soooo alone~" She continued dramatically, putting her hand on her forehead.
Crimea blinked his eyes and sighed. "Alright... I'm listening" He said, knowing that she wouldn't be so easil4 convinced to turn back.
Kureha giggled and clapped her hands together. "Yey!" She beamed, taking Crimea's arm and dragging him out of the store, Crimea frowned and looked at Mimaa, who just gave him a "i wish you luck" look.
Once they were outside, Castro and Kureha led Crimea to the SUV waiting outside, and invited him to take a sit.
"Please, Crimea" Castro said cordially, opening the door for the back seats for Crimea, who nodded and sat down, seeing the insides of the SUV was nostalgic, after all, it was the unique vehicle he ever been to that was filled with devices, gear and luxurious stuff.
Kureha sat down next to him and opened her laptop, while handling him her tablet. He turned it on and saw a lot of files opened, with a quick read he realized it was linked to a non-specified company that seemed to raid dungeons while the cleaning department was inside, killing them and provoking leaks, while also stealing the goods from those dead inside.
Crimea's eyes widened slightly, remembering his own experience with such companies. Kureha noticed it and started explaining. "Well... We still don't have a name. But we suspect that there is this company... Or Gang... Or mafia... Or something, and that it raids dungeons in order to steal goods and all that stuff. We don't know why, or if that's the only thing they're after"
Crimea listened quietly, and let Kureha continue explaining. "But! Some of my families spies managed to obtain a location! We don't know if it is the main building, or a decoy that they use as a barrier or something"
"So... We're raiding the place?" Crimea asked, putting the tablet away. Kureha smirked and nodded vigorously, hugging him tightly. "See Castro?! He knows me!" She teased, pulling away and then taking a deep breath. "Thanks Crimea" She said, more softly.
Crimea nodded and left the car, saying: "No problem, call me when you're ready" He said, closing the car door and walking back inside Coffee's Delight. Kureha and Castro drove away, with Kureha putting the laptop and tablet on their respective place and then looking through the window.
"This is going to be so much fun~" She said, smirking mischievously.
...
Korean Hunters Association
The mission was a success, technically speaking of course, Joohee recovering her trauma wasn't that good, or Chi-Yul being on a hospital... And the death of 3 more hunters. The duo, Juwon Kim and Jin-Woo delivered a report, stating the fatalities, and everything that happened inside the ruin-like dungeon.
The receptionist called Kim, and quickly explained that since he already went on a "real" raid mission, and a cleaning one too, he had the possibility to measure his rank. This decision confused Kim that remembered how Crimea explained that it usually took a lot more to become a real hunter. Probably another unusual decision due to the shortage of hunters.
Jin-Woo accompanied Kim to the specific room, and introduced him around.
"Oooookay, we're set! Please, Sir" A mature woman, dressed in a white lab coat guided Kim, leading him to the RMD, or Rank Measurement Device. She explained that Kim should put his hand on the center of the machine, who would then, measure his rank.
"But please remember! Another measurement will be necessary in a few weeks, we examined your exams and discovered your power has... How can i put it?" The woman asked herself, massaging her chin.
"Layers? Heh, it works" She continued, typing something on her tablet. "We currently are still researching about this type of powers. Another hunters also have the same condition, although still pretty rare!"
Kim nodded, he did felt some kind of weird limit whenever he mutated his arm. "gotcha" He said, looking back at the machine. Jin-Woo looked at their interaction, also curious about these new events happening with hunters.
The woman responded with another nod and started the RMD, who engulfed Kim in a strange, yet comforting, tranquility. He could feel the limitations even better, but knew it would end once the RMD finished measuring his Rank.
Some seconds after, a beep noise signaled the end, and on a tiny monitor besides the large machine, the letter C could be seen.
"C-Rank? That's impressive, Sir!" The woman said excitedly, typing away on her keyboard. Jin-Woo crossed his arms. "Not bad" On his mind, he was wondering what his rank was now, but opted not to measure it for now, he wanted to keep the impression of still being a relatively weaker hunter, it was less stressful that way.
Kim eyes widened and he chuckled. "Oh really? Guess i won't be able to flex on Crimea's stupid ass now..." He added, stepping away and walking to the lab woman to grab his papers.
Jin-Woo raised an eyebrow, this name 'Crimea' wasn't strange... After some long seconds, he remembered. Crimea was know due to being son of Crimson, a extremely powerful Japanese hunter that was killed on a mysterious incident involving a dungeon leak, he knew about this since Crimson was a fairly common figure to appear here, at the Korean Hunters Association, and would sometimes take part in dangerous dungeons with the Korean Hunters. The real motive for that is unknown, some theorize he just wanted more money or influence, other think he was a close friend to Go Gun-Hee.
Then, Jin-Woo's mental exercise was interrupted by Kim, who punched his shoulder. "Hey, Jijin, wanna to train with me?" Kim asked, determined to break his power's limitations, and maybe training with another hunter would help him with that.
"Uhh... Sure" Jin-Woo nodded, leading Kim to the training grounds present on the Association grounds.
Author's Notes: So... Good news! Since I'm really in love with this book, and want it to move forward, i challenged myself to write a lot more, and every day. I thought 1000 words per day was really difficult, but after writing 5000 in 4 days, it really wasn't.
Sooo! Yeah, new chapters will be published even quicker, hopefully i will extend even more the word count, and turn this little diversion into something I'm proud of.
I mean... I've been drawing a lot of stuff for this one (covers, weapons, creatures, bosses... A lot more), and even started doing a animated fight! It's not good, and really sketchy, but hey, means something, doesn't it?
Maybe someday i will finish it and publish it somewhere, dunno... Anyways, hope to see you all on the next chapter!... ᕕ[ ́ ل͜ ́ ]੭
