Ayana was frustrated. She didn't know why he wanted to marry her. It's not like she's from a very wealthy background and he doesn't even love her. After Ahaan hung up the call Ayana tried calling him again but that was all in vain. Because nobody picked up the call. And she knew that she had to wait for his call now.
-------After 2 Days--------
Ayana was in her room still trying to find ways to arrange money. She thought of selling her shop. And she found a buyer but nobody would give 20-30 lakh for that shop because it wasn't even that big and famous. When she was just thinking about another option she got a call from an unknown number. She hesitated but then picked up the call.
Ayana: Hello?
???: Good morning. Ms. Mehra.
Ayana: Mr. Khado- I mean Mr. Malhotra??
Ahaan: Well. Yeah. Mr. Khadoos.
Ayana: I..Um-
Ahaan: I arranged a meeting for us Ms. Mehra. You can come to meet me in 30 minutes.
Ayana: 30 minutes??! Mr. Malhotra it'll take me atleast 10 min to get ready and 30 min to reach there.
Ahaan: I'm a busy man Ms. Mehra. You know that right?
Ayana gritted her teeth
Ayana: Obviously I know that. Mr. Malhotra. I'll be there in 30 mins.
Ahaan: Good. See you then.
And he hung up the call. Ayana left the house in whatever she was wearing because she had no time to waste. She was wearing a simple crop top and baggy jeans. She got a bit late because of the traffic. She ran out of the taxi and hurried to Ahaan's cabin.
Ayana: I'm sorry. Mr. Ma-
Ahaan was sitting on a couch. With his legs crossed and he was looking at his watch. He looked up at her. Ayana was panting and she was sweating so much. He looked at her for a second.
Ahaan: You're 13 min late Ms. Mehra.
Ayana: There was too much traffic and-
Ahaan: Now we only have 47 minutes left. You should take a seat.
Ayana looked at him with disbelief for a sec before taking a seat in front of him.
Ahaan: So Ms. Mehra. The wedding-
Ayana: Mr. Malhotra. Please. Listen to me first.
Ahaan: Yes. Go on. I'm listening.
Ayana: Mr. Malhotra. I can't marry you.
Ahaan: You have a boyfriend?
Ayana: What? No!
Ahaan: Then?
Ayana: That.. that's not something I want to tell you.
Ahaan: But I think I have the right to know the reason why you're refusing to marry me. Am I wrong?
Ayana: I... it's just..
Ahaan: What?
Ayana: I want to marry a man I love..
She mumbled
Ahaan: What? I can't hear you Ms. Mehra.
Ayana: I want to marry a man I love.
Ahaan: I still can't hear you.
Ayana: I WANT TO MARRY A MAN I LOVE.
He looked at her. She looked away feeling embarassed.
Ahaan: Then I guess we have no choice.
Ayana: You'll not marry me?
Ahaan: Well I didn't say that. Did I?
Ayana: T-Then?
Ahaan: Love me.
Ayana: What?
Ahaan: Love me. Ms. Mehra. Because you'll have to marry me.
