- I knew the moment I entered the cabin I'd been met with the same image I had for a couple of days now, Only my sister and Lo'ak at the table,

I tried not to focus so much on them as soon as I closed the door behind me, but when I looked to my side I was faced with Tuk's bag thrown on the floor, my ears pinched up in shock for a second as they clicked for me,

I was supposed to go and get her today.

I groaned a bit to myself as I picked it up and placed it on the dining table, where Lo'ak was sitting, as Kiri went to her room for a bit, " I went to pick her up today " He added as soon as I let the bag on the table with a big frown on his face and an annoying tone, I hated it.

I frowned back at him until Kiri got back, her voice making me take my eyes off Lo'ak, " Oh- Welcome back, Bro " She responded leaving a juice cup on the table and sitting down,

" Thanks " I responded after a big sigh to calm down my tone and respond nicely to her, but couldn't keep that in a while, " So- where have you been wondering " Lo'ak added not taking his face off me, sighed, and let myself sit down, my legs crossed and so were my arms,

" Here and there, nothing serious " I responded boldly, as his eyes went darker on me, " Could you guys, like stop- you're making my juice taste bitter now " Kiri added as I looked to the side taking my anger from Lo'ak and sighed,

" Yeah- well Lo'ak is acting like a bitch, not me, " I told her, as I felt Lo'ak eyes lighten up with even more anger almost jumping that table at me, " A bitch? How fucking dare you, you're the one who insulted me this morning! " he hissed, slamming his hands on the table,

I didn't flinch, simply stood there legs crossed, watching him take his anger out on me, " Well, you're the one who started all of this, questioning me, calling me names. " I responded again boldly, with no emotion.

" Well none of those won't ever start if you were;t some lunatic leaving the house without us not even knowing where the fuck you're going! " He hissed again, this time making sure every word was harsh and sharp,

" Why is that bothering you anyway!? " I added, more harshly than I wanted to snap back, he frowned, his ears pinched back at my hiss,

"Because- I care about you! you're my brother, fuckin sake- And it kills me not knowing nothing about where you are- " He added again starting with a hiss then calming himself mid-talking, as I sighed to myself,

" It's just- " I sighed deeply.

" You have to understand, I don't want to tell you until I don't feel ready. " I explained, ensuring I sounded serious and less angry at him.

Lo'ak sat back down sighing as he looked at me, " Fine. " he added back, as Kiri just watched between us slurping from her orange juice, " You'll tell us when you're ready " He added again getting up from the table, and went to his room, I sighed once more as Kiri got up and went to pat my back,

" Let him have his time, bro " she added softly as she also went to her room leaving me her half-drunk cup, I nodded to her as I drank the rest and went to my room too.

- In the morning, I woke up pretty late, I didn't even get to eat breakfast as I sat down at the table when someone knocked at the door, Kiri got up and went to open up as Lo'ak was in the bathroom dropping some toys Tuk brought from her daycare place handmade by her, to clean them up so she can have them when she gets back today,

As Kiri opened the door I was too tired to care who it was, so I went and joined the bathroom while Lo'ak went into the kitchen,

I simply did my hair which was much of a mess, and tight the necklace at my neck, as I don't usually sleep with it, it hurts my neck if I do,

I finished it by brushing my teeth before I could hear Kiri call for me,

I frowned a bit and spit the water from my mouth back into the sink as I went into the kitchen kinda annoyed still pretty careless and pretty much tired.

I finally went to the door, meeting Rotxo and Tsireya there as I forced a smile and waved at both of them, they greeted me back,

" Sorry to disturb y'all so in the morning, we were wondering if the three of you could help us with a task, two cabins burned last night " Tsireya explained to me as I had a hard time working those words on my mind, but responded quickly enough,

" Yeah, sure I can help " I added as both of her and Rotxo smiled, Kiri returning it to her boyfriend as they moved to the side so we could finally go on our way,

But to my surprise, right when Rotxo moved I finally saw Aonung staying there much further away from the other two, as my ears pinched up in surprise still confused by my sleepiness,

I felt my face go from blue to white, as I froze in place.

" Uh- bro? Are you ok? " Kiri asked me as my thoughts weren't working, I had never been in this kind of situation even tho we were in this formula before, it's just that this time, me and Aonung weren't just some tensioned weirdos around each other anymore, this time we were a thing. a fucking relationship, the kind I've been trying so hard to hide from literally everyone close to me.

And two of those close people to me were here, next to me.

" Yeah- uh- Y-Eah! " I responded, shaking my head, I felt my tummy do funny stuff, and my cheeks got a bit pinkish from my almost cracked voice,

How the hell should I even act? rude and mean to him, ignore him, or I don't fuking know just jump in his arms like I usually do and kiss him in front of everyone.

I felt even more silly in my tummy, my cheeks almost went on for a full blush session, what the hell is even this thought? 

I should sleep more.

" Are you coming, or- " I suddenly heard Kiri again as I shook my head and followed her as the rest were already much ahead of me, " Yeah- sorry " I said quickly and went fast and faster after her and the rest to this task I half understood what to do.

We got there in the end, a cabin that looked really burned, like really fucking badly burned, I don't think you can call that a 'cabin' anymore,

But as we finally stopped walking Tsireya turned to us I tried my best not even flinch a look in Aonung's away, but from how we stopped and to my calculation he was somewhere much more behind me on my left, probably trying to act as cool as I try to look right now,

I felt so uncomfortable like there was this strange icky place in the back of my neck, my face hot like I had a fever and my tail confused and wagged every time about those weird random thoughts, like I don't know, turning around grabbing his chin and pull him into a long rough kiss,

Or just straight up bite his neck and let his buffy arms get tighter around my body, go on and make out on the sand in front of them-

I shook my head again.

" Ok, then Rotxo and Me- " I finally knocked myself from those thoughts as I heard Tsireya talk, but Kiri interrupted her, " Maybe- can I get those rocks, with Rotxo, " She asked nicely, as I chuckled to myself, could she be more obvious than this?

" Oh- yeah, can she? " Rotxo added not so long after, as Tsireya sighed softly, " Yeah, fine then " she added as Lo'ak threw some looks to Rotxo for some reason, as Tsireya continued with the task, " Then- um Lo'ak maybe you can go with- " She looked kinda weird, thinking face.

" Aonung? you guys can cut some trees- " She said very unsure but trying to sound soft-toned, " I'm not going with this fish-lips anywhere " Lo'ak spat back at Tsireya, I took a worried face as I almost jumped when I saw Aonung standing in front of me next to Rotxo and Tsireya, how and when did they even move?

I let my eyes wander at my Boyfriend, I couldn't help it, as I saw his frown and arrogant face that I was used to fixing on Lo'ak, " Yeah- maybe that's not a good idea " Kiri added,

" Fine...then I'll go with Aonung- " Tsireya added but Aonung began, " Actually, I need more of a buffer, those trees aren't going to make your life any easy, Sis " He added, a deep and serious tone, boldly.

I wanted to smile at that, did he try to get me to join me for those trees?

" Maybe Ao can go with Neteyam? " Rotxo said as he somehow appeared next to Kiri, are those people teleporting?

Lo'ak frowned at that,

" Me and the oldest of the freaks, huh? " Aonung commented, I wanted to bite his neck even harder now as he fixed his eyes on mine at that comment,

" You son of a b- " Lo'ak began quickly after that, as I sighed and placed a hand on my brother's chest that was next to me, he hissed and feathered up his chest at Aonung, " I'll go with Mr.Arogant, It's fine " I added looking straight into his eyes and end up looking at Lo'ak for the last part,

Aonung almost slipped a smirk at me but corrected it into a big frown and a small smile on the corner of his lips.

Tsireya sighed as she shot a mean look to Aonung and then back at me, " Are you- sure? " She asked me as I nodded, " Yeah, we're not going to do anything, " I said, referring to us not fighting but in my mind, it came out dirtier than I wanted it to be, and my ears went pink.

" Yeah, he better not. " Lo'ak hissed at Aonung as I shot a glare back to him instead this time, " Let's just get going with our task.." Tsireya added with a more of a sad tone as she joined Lo'ak on their way to make the materials, I began walking somewhere behind a cabin as the trees were not so far away from that,

As I heard Aonung walk behind me.
