Winterfell

Daenerys and Davion flew up on Drogon and Rhaegal. They needed to get far away from the mist and flew above it all.

"Do you see him?" Daenerys asked.

"I did, but I lost him." Davion said. Rhaegal and Drogon were screeching as they were flying above the clouds. Davion and Daenerys looked around for any sign of the Night King. Suddenly a blue flame emerged from the below them and it was directed at Daenerys and Drogon. The wight Viserion flew up with his new rider, the Night King and Drogon flew up away from them, but the Night King still followed. "Dany!" Davion shouted. He then patted Rhaegal to fly up and follow the Night King. Davion amd Rhaegal managed to catch up with the wight Viserion and Rhaegal knocked his once brother aside. Unfortunately Rhaegal used most of his strength to do so and was off balance. Drogon recovered and when the eldest of the dragons looked around, the Night King and Viserion were gone.

"Davion!" Daenerys shouted and Rhaegal managed to maintain his balance again.

"I'm alright." Davion said. The both of them looked for the Night King, but couldn't see him. "How can a dragon that big be hiding?" Drogon and Rhaegal then dove down into the mist to search for the Night King.

We have to find him." Daenerys said.

"I know." Davion said.

"Davion, we have to find him!" She shouted.

"I know!" Davion shouted back. He had noticed that Daenerys' head wasn't in this fight it started. He knew that it was a bad time to ask and could only pray that she get it together because they needed to kill the Night King before they all get slaughtered by the Army of the Dead.

Halls of Winterfell

Trystane and Ser Barriston were patrolling the castle looking for wights, they weren't far from the Great Hall, but also not too close.

"Don't worry lad, she'll be fine." Ser Barriston said.

"Thank you Ser, but I'm also worried about the other people inside the Great Hall." Trystane said.

"That's why we're not too far from them." Ser Barriston pointed out.

They heard snarling and the men readied themselves. "Please tell me that I'm going mad and hearing voices." Trystane said.

"Unfortunately not lad." Ser Barriston said. "Get ready men." He looked at the small army behind him. They then walked slowly towards the sound. They entered the library and Trystane instantly spotted Arya. Unfortunately the library was crawling with wights. They looked at each other and Trystane signaled for Arya yo be quiet. They slowly closed the door.

"We have to help her." Trystane whispered.

"How? Ser" Barriston asked.

Trystane looked at the men. "Split up and find an entrance to make it easier for her to get out." They nodded at him and the men split up. Trystane went with Ser and a three knights.

"This way." Trystane ordered.

"Get behind me, boy." Ser Barriston said. They found another entrance to the library, but saw Arya being chased by wights.

Trystane breathed heavily, knowing what he was about to do would be stupid. "I'm here you fuckers!" He shouted and the wights turned to them. "Come and get us!" Trystane and Ser Barriston ran with the knights and the wights chased them.

"This way! Come on!" Ser Barriston shouted. In the halls they saw their men getting butchered by the wights.

"Fuck! Come on!" Trystane yelled and they charged to fight them.

Great Hall

Hours passed and suddenly the people inside the Great Hall heard banging on the doors. Sansa and Myrcella then stepped forward.

"Open the door!" A soldier shouted.

"Come on! Open the door!" Another soldier shouted.

"Open the door please!" A third soldier shouted.

Myrcella then stepped forward as if she was about to open the door, but was stopped by Tyrion.

"What are you doing?" Tyrion asked.

"What if one of them is Trystane?" She asked.

"We let even one of them in here and we're all dead." Tyrion said.

"Uncle please." Myrcella begged.

"I'm sorry, Myrcella. We can't open that door." Tyrion said. Tyene then walked to Myrcella and hugged her.

"Come on. Let us sit down." Tyene offered and Myrcella didn't protest.

Once Trystane and Ser Barriston were finished taking out the wights, Trystane noticed blood pouring out from Ser Barristons leg.

I'm fine. Come on. Let's go save Arya." Ser Barriston said.

"We have to get you to the Great Hall." Trystane said.

"No. I am a knight and if I die tonight, it will be as a knight." Ser Barriston argued.

Trystane nodded. "At least let me help you walk."

Ser Barriston nodded and put his arm around Trystanes shoulder. They then walked in the passage and found Sandor Clegane and Beric Dandarrion.

"Have you seen Arya?" Beric asked.

"No. We were looking for her as well." Trystane said. "We managed to draw some of them away from her, but now we don't know where she might be."

Sandor looked at Ser Barristons leg. "That doesn't look good."

"Nothing some fire can't fix." Ser Barriston said and looked at Beric.

"Hold still." Beric said and Ser Barriston nodded. He then placed his sword on Ser Barristons leg to burn the wound, closing it. Ser Barriston groaned as softly as he could and Trystane held his hand.

"Let's go." Ser Barriston said once Beric was done, but stopped when they saw a door burst open. A wight had fallen on top of Arya and Beric threw his flaming sword at the wight, killing it. More wights came through and Sandor killed them. Trystane and Beric then went to Arya. They picked her up, but Beric was stabbed on his leg.

"Ah!" He groaned. He then pushed both Arya and Trystane away from him and he limped forward while fighting some wights.

"Come on! Go!" Sandor shouted. "Go!" Arya picked up an axe and fought with Beric, not until Sandor carried her away. We have to go!

"In here!" Ser Barriston shouted and they managed to go into a room, but not before Beric was repeatedly stabbed by some wights. He managed to kill them and limped inside the room. Sandor, with the help of Trystane managed to barricade the door of the room.

Arya looked at Beric who was taking his last few breaths and eventually died. "The Lord brought him back for a purpose. They all turned to see Melisandre. Now that purpose has been served." She said.

"I know you." Arya said.

"And I know you." Melisandre said.

"You said we'd meet again." Arya said.

"And here we are. At the end of the world." Melisandre pointed out.

"You said I'd shut many eyes forever. You were right about that too." Arya said, remembering the first time she met Melisandre.

Melisandre nodded. "There's one more pair that you need to help shut. Your dagger is the key." She said and Arya looked at her dagger. She then looked at the door. "What do we say to the God of Death?" Melisandre asked.

"Not today." Arya answered. She then ran out of the room through another exit.

"She's going to Davion, isn't she?" Ser Barriston asked.

"Yes." Melisandre answered.

"I'll go as well." Ser Barriston said, but was stopped by Trystane.

"Ser Barriston, no." Trystane said.

"Go to Myrcella. She'll need you." Ser Barriston removed his arm from Trystanes grip and limped as fast as he could.

Outside, the Night King flew on the wight Viserion and breathed his blue flame on the castle, killing many soldiers. He was flying back but was attacked by Davion and Rhaegal.

The living and dead dragon were fighting, snapping at each other trying to bite a piece of each other, but missed by an inch or two. The wight Viserion then used his claws to dig into Rhaegal while trying to bite Davion.

"No!" Davion shouted. "Finish him Rhaegal!" Rhaegal then bit on to wight Viserions mouth and ripped his jaw off. Davion saw the Night King grab his ice spear wanting to kill Rhaegal, but Rhaegal managed to bite wight Viserion in his mouth again. "Now Rhaegal! Dracarys!" Rhaegal breathed his flame inside wight Viserions mouth.

The Night King lost his balance when Drogon attacked wight Viserion and fell off his undead dragon. Davion could tell that Rhaegal was hurt and wight Viserion was nowhere to be seen. "Davion!" Daenerys shouted seeing her husband and Dragon dive down.

"Easy boy, almost there." Davion knew that Rhaegal was out of this fight. Rhaegal was about to land and Davion tried to slow him down knowing that the dragon needed to rest, but Rhaegal decended to fast for Davion to control. The Storm King had no choice but to jump off Rhaegal when they got close. Davion fell hard on the ground and hurt his left arm. Once they were both on the ground Davion looked at Rhaegal. The Dragon was in bad shape and he was vulnerable to be attacked.

Behind the castle Ser Jorah heard Drogon roaring and knew that Daenerys needed him. Jon looked at Agragon who was also killing wights thanks to his armor and dragonglass horns. Jon ran to the beast and killed some wights attacking him. Jon then climbed on Agragon and they went to Ser Jorah.

"Come on, let's go help them." Jon said referring to Davion and Daenerys.

Daenerys and Drogon were looking for Davion and Rhaegal, but instead found the Night King. He looked at her and she lokked at him.

"Dracarys." She calmly said and Dragon unleashed his mighty flames on the Night King. Davion saw this and slowly walked forward. Once Drogon was finished they looked to see the result and not only was the Night King still standing, but he smirked at Daenerys. He then picked up his ice spear.

"Dany go! Go now!" Davion shouted. The Night King threw the spear, but missed by a few inches. He then turned and walked toward the castle. Davion followed him.

"Hey!" Davion shouted, and the Night King turned to face Davion. "You and I have unfinished business." He said remembering how the Night King killed Viserion. He then unsheathed Blackfyre.

The Night King looked at Davion and instead of wanting to engage in a fight he raised his arms. Davion remembered what Jon said and with hesitation the Storm King ran as fast as he could, but unfortunately it wasn't fast enough. The dead men and women who once fought for the living, rose up under the command of the Night King. Davion was surrounded by fresh wights. The Night King then walked away leaving Davion to deal with his new army.

Inside the castle the living thought that they were getting somewhere with killing wights, but then their fallen comrades rose up as the Army of the Dead. The living had no idea how they would survive this seeing that most, if not all of them were tired.

Davion killed as many as he could, but they were too many, suddenly the wights were attacked by Jon and Ser Jorah who were riding on Agragon.

The three men and the Stelk stood together and just as the wights were about to attacked, they were incinerated by Drogon.

"You have to get to Bran." Davion told Jon.

"What about you?" Jon asked.

"Don't worry about me, just go!" Davion yelled. Jon was about climb on Agragon, but the Stelk was stabbed on his leg and Davion killed the wight that stabbed his animal.

"Go! Run far away from here." Davion then smacked Agragon and the Stelk ran away. He then looked at Jon. "Go!"

Jon ran back into the castle and Davion saw Drogon incinerate more wights. "Go with him!" Daenerys told Davion.

"I'm not leaving you." Davion told his wife.

"Go!" She yelled at him.

Davion looked at her and then at Jon who was running toward the castle. He had a choice to make, and he knew which choice was the right one. "Shit!" He shouted and ran after Jon.

Drogon was attacked by an army of wights. He was being stabbed repeatedly and the Dragon screeched and tried to shake them off. Unfortunately this made Daenerys lose her grip on Drogon and she fell off her dragon. She watched as Drogon was swarmed by wights and he flew off trying to shake them off him.

Many wights fell from the skies, but that wasn't enough to kill them. Daenerys saw one wight running toward her and she tried to move back. She needed to do something. She couldn't let her baby die, not like this. As the wight got closer, his head got removed. Daenerys felt someone pick her up and turned to see Ser Jorah. He ran with her, trying to get her to safety.

Davion finally got inside the castle and saw how Winterfell was overrun with wights. He and Jon cut their way through them. Davion saw how Thorak, his brother and sister were fighting. He wanted to help, but he knew that killing the Night King was the only way to end this. Wights started falling from the sky and rose up to attack anyone who was alive.

Jon saw Sam struggling, but also knew that he had to continue to pursue the Night King. Suddenly both Davion and Jon stopped running when they saw the wight Viserion.  He unleashed his blue flame in everything and everyone. Davion and Jon ran to take cover.

"Fuck. I thought he was dead." Davion cursed. "We have to get to Bran."

"Not we. You." Jon said and Davion gave him a curious look. "I'll distract Viserion and you go to the godswood."

"No!" Davion shouted. "If this is our final stand, we face it together...as brothers."

Jon looked at Davion. He was a good man, more worthy to be king than Jon ever was. Jon then pushed Davion aside as hard as he could and ran closer to Viserion.

"Jon!" Davion shouted.

"Go!" Jon shouted.

"Fuck!" Davion cursed and ran off to the godswood.

Great Hall

The wights started bursting through the doors of the Great Hall and the people inside were yelling. No one wanted to die like this. Not the men who couldn't fight, nor the women holding their children. As they were about to break free, they stopped. Suddenly the door opened and Trystane walked through them.

"We have to get out of here." Sandor said.

"And go where?" Trystane asked. "I saw some wights come from the crypts. The castle is lost. There's only one way to do this...we have to fight." He said.

"If you fight, you'll die." Myrcella tolf her husband.

"I know, but I won't run." Trystane said.

"You're trying to impress my brother, I understand, but it's not worth getting yourself killed." Myrcella pointed out.

"It's not about that. It's about protecting you." Trystane said. "It's always been about protecting you. Stay here. We'll barricade the door."

"Please...don't go." Myrcella begged.

Trystane kissed Myrcella. "I'll come back, I promise." He then walked away leaving a crying Myrcella and he and Sandor barricaded the door of the Great Hall.

Davion finally arrived at the godswood and saw Theon dead on the ground. He saw that the Night King walking to Bran. Davion had to think quickly. He then felt a hand on his shoulder and quickly turned to see Ser Barriston.

"I'm glad you're not dead, son." Ser Barriston whispered.

"Same to you." Davion whispered back. "If we charge at them, we'll die. The moment we kill one of them they'll know we're here."

"What do you propose?" Ser Barriston asked.

"I'll distract them while you kill the Night King." Davion said.

"No. They'll all kill you." Ser Barriston argued.

"If he kills Bran, we're all dead." Davion pointed out. Ser Barriston sighed and nodded at Davion. Ser Barriston then limped around and Davion quietly walked toward the White Walkers and killed one with Blackfyre. The rest of them turned to face Davion. "Sorry I'm late, but your masters dragon kept me from killing you all." He said and three White Walkers charged at him and Davion easily killed them.

Ser Barriston saw Arya slowly move to the Night King and chose to help Davion instead. He then stabbed one White Walker with his dragonglass sword. Suddenly they were overrun by a few wights. "Back to back!" Ser Barriston shouted and he and Davion stood with their backs against each other. "We need to buy some time for her." He said and Davion saw Arya. He then nodded at Ser Barriston and they started fighting the wights and White Walkers. Look out! Ser Barriston shouted as a White Walker was about to stab Davion and instead stabbed Ser Barriston.

"No!" Davion shouted and killed the White Walker. He then looked at Ser Barriston. He was badly injured, but kept fighting. Davion killed more wights until only the Walkers remained. There were three left and one stabbed Ser Barriston again in his chest. The old knight groaned in pain, but killed the Walker. Davion then killed the two remaining Walkers and rushed to Ser Barriston.

"Go!" He shouted. "Save the North, save the world." Davion saw Arya charge at the Night King, but her stopped her and threw her aside. Arya was knocked out. The Night King then walked to Arya to finish the job, but stopped when he heard Davions voice.

"Hey!" The Night King turned to face him. "I told you that you and I have unfinished business." The Night King unsheathed his ice sword. Davion felt Blackfyre shake in his hand again just like before. "Let's end this..." Davion and the Night King engaged in a fight. Their swords clashed against each. Davion managed to slip and parry all the Night King's attacks and the Night King did the same. Davion groaned in pain when the night king stabbed him in his leg and threw him aside.

Arya slowly woke up and saw Davion against a tree. She immediately got up to help Davion, but the Night King smacked her across her face. She dropped her dagger and fell down. The Night King once again turned his attention to Arya. "Come on! Kill me if you can. I'm not afraid of you!" Arya spat.

Davion slowly rose up. "Hey...where do you think you're going?" He asked and the Night King turned to face the Storm King.

"Davion no!" Arya begged.

"Leaving... so soon? I never said we were done." Davion spat. "You're no warrior. You're just a mindless freak of nature. Nothing but a walking ice block to keep my wine and ale cold." He taunted the Night King enough to anger him. "Yes. Is this what you truly want? A worthy adversary. I don't think so because here you are, trying to killed a defenseless boy and avoided every chance you have to kill me. I think your scared. Only a coward would act they way you're acting." The Night King heard enough and charged at Davion. The Storm King smirked and charged back at the Night King. In his weakened state Davion was no match for the Night King, but he needed to do something. Their swords clashed again, but this time the Night King was able to disarm Davion. Instead of killing Davion, the Night King beat Davion repeatedly and punched Davion hard in his stomach. The Raging Storm vomited blood and as he was about to fall to the ground, the Night King grabbed Davion by his hair and threw him nto a tree. The Storm King's shoulder was dislocated and he was bleeding from his forehead and mouth.

"No!" Arya shouted. She could barely stand and all the Night King did was smirk and walk past her to finish what he came here to do...kill the Three-eyed Raven. As the Night King walked closer to Bran, he stopped when he heard a familiar voice.

"What's so funny...freak?" The Night turned and couldn't believe that Davion Baratheon was not only on his feet, but walked closer to him. "What did you think huh? That I was going to die from a few punches and being thrown into a tree." Davion then popped his shoulder back in place and groaned. The Night King's anger suddenly turned to fear as he saw Blackfyre shake in the snow. Davion the picked up his sword. "You're nothing, just a trickster, and I...I am a warrior...the Raging Storm! Davion Baratheon!" Davion was face to face with the Night King. He then charged, but fainted when the Night King attempted to block. Davion managed to used the pommel of Blackfyre to attack the Night King in his face. "You may not bleed, but I'm sure that hurt." Davion taunted

Arya knew what Davion was trying to do. She saw her dagger and grabbed it. Davion was finally back in the fight and the Night King was taking damage. As Davion was fighting he thought of all the people who died for him to be here. He thought of Thorak. He thought of Gendry and Mya. He thought of Daenerys. They were his strength. They were all he needed to keep on fighting. The Night managed to punch Davion in his face and Davion was in his knees before him. The Night King then tilted Davions chin to make him looked at him. The Night King smirked at Davion and for the first time, he spoke. "I'm going to rip out your heart and used it to smother your fucking wife to death. I am death and your just a mortal." The Night said and quickly turned and caught Arya who was trying to stab him. Arya then dropped her dagger and Davion caught it.

Davion then made the Night King look at him and drove the dagger up the Night King's chin. "A gift, from me, to you." Davion said and the Night King burst into small pieces of ice.

In the castle the Night King's army crumbled and any remaining White Walkers disintegrated. The Great War was over.

In the godswood, Davion rushed to Ser Barriston.  "You did it...I... knew you would..." Ser Barriston panted.

"Don't talk. We'll get you a maester." Davion said.

Ser Barriston chuckled and spat out some blood. "My fight is over, son. I...I can't think of a...of a better way to die."

"No please, Ser Barriston please." Davion begged.

"It...it was an honor." Ser Barriston took his last breath and died. Davion then cried over his body.

Outside Winterfell Daenerys was crying as Ser Jorah was dying as well. He then put his hand on Daenerys' stomach. "He...he will make a good...good father." His hand then went limp as he died. Daenerys cried over his dead body. He fought for her from the beginning and he loved her, but she couldn't return it. Now he knew that she was pregnant and she understood that Ser Jorah wasn't only fighting for her, but fir her baby as well.

Sansa, Myrcella and the rest started walking out of the Great Hall. Myrcella saw Trystane alive and she hugged him. Tyene went to find Thorak. Ser Davos saw Melisandre walk out of the castle.  She removed her necklace as she kept walking. He then saw how she was rapidly aging and soon after she died.

The living had thrived over the dead, but at heavy losses. There was only one fight left. The fight for Westeros...
