While helping Mum with the chores, Miyuki texted asking if I was free. I told her that I would be in half an hour.
'Great!
'See you soon!'
'See you soon :)'
We decided to meet up at a local cafe.
During our meeting at the café, we got to talk.
"So, Cho, I want to ask you something." Miyuki inquires.
"Shoot."
"Are you and Wolfrun together?" Miyuki asks.
"...Why are you asking?"
"You know," Miyuki takes a breath. "I got curious after Yaoi suggested it the other day, and I can't stop thinking about it."
"Why do you want to know so badly?"
"Because I think you two will look cute together!"
"Yeah, right."
As we kept talking for a while, we decided to go home and catch up some other time.
Coming home from her lunch date with Miyuki, Cho dumps her bag in its usual spot and walks over to me.
Collapsing onto me as she does so.
"Rough day?"
"Mhm" Cho hums.
"May I know what happened?"
"Miyuki happened."
"What'd she do this time?"
"Let's just say, she's curious."
"About what?"
"When we're getting together."
"Did you tell her?"
"Good gravy, no!"
"How come?"
"I didn't want her to blab to the others!"
"...Good call."
"What did you do while I was out?" Cho inquires.
I explain what happened during my lunch date with Miyuki to Wolfrun. While explaining, Wolfrun appears to be laughing and grinning at parts.
"Okay, that was weird." Wolfrun grins.
"Says the wolf."
"What's my existence got to do with it?" Wolfrun raises an eyebrow.
"Nothing. It's funny that you'd say that since you're...you know...supposed to only exist in fairy tales."
He scowls at me.
"Not that I'm saying that, I'm just saying it's crazy how someone like you can exist."
"I'll accept that response for now. Otherwise, I would've done something else to you." Wolfrun smirks.
"...Eww, you're disgusting!"
"Says you." Wolfrun grins.
The two of us continued arguing like that for a while.
I headed back to my room and closed the door. I shut and locked my balcony door. I went back to watching TV with Ulric and sometime later it was dinner.
I go through my morning routine when I get up the next day. Having returned to my room, I noticed that Wolfrun wasn't where he should be.
'Where is he?'
I feel bad as I search all the possible hiding places around the house. This feeling could only mean one thing.
"Where are you going?!" Mother shouts.
"I forgot something," I answer. "I am going to go get it."
"Don't be out too long." Mother warns.
"I can't promise anything!" I reply.
As I get to the Dark Zone, so do the others.
"Let's go!"
"Right!"
"Precure! Smile Charge!"
"Twinkling and shining, the light of the future! Cure Happy!"
"The brilliant sun, hot-blooded power! Cure Sunny!"
"Sparkling, glittering, rock-paper-scissors! Cure Peace!"
"Intense courage, a straight-up bout! Cure March!"
"The snow, falling and gathering, a noble heart! Cure Beauty!"
"With overflowing feelings, they run free! Cure Emotion!"
"Our 6 lights will guide us to the future!"
"Sparkle! Smile Precure!"
Before the battle begins, Cho manages to take care of it.
"Precure! Emotion Bomb!"
"Akan...be~"
Everything went back to its normal state. Standing in a half-circle with the girls, they share looks with me.
Back at my place, we rush to the room and look at the full-length mirror. As we glance over the mirror, we are shown Wolfrun being chained in a dungeon.
"WOLFRUN!" I scream. "NO!"
"He can't hear you, my dear."
"What have you done to him?!"
"Absolutely nothing...yet."
"You give him back right now, Joker!" Reika exclaims.
"No, I don't think I will."
"Please, Joker, just give him back!"
"NO!"
After that, the mirror faded to show our reflections.
"What now?"
"Let's calm down, Cho." Akane soothes. "Panicking won't bring Wolfrun back."
"I can't." I squeak. "I'm worried sick. What are we going to do?!"
"Don't worry, we'll find a way." Nao grins.
