8:30 a.m., Los Angeles, CA

"Rose... wake up, or you'll be late for school," Ellie called, opening the door to her daughter's room. She walked in and opened the windows wide.

The sunlight spilled across Rose's face. She raised her hands to shield her eyes. "Mom, let me sleep. I don't want to go to school today," Rose mumbled, turning over.

Ellie stood by Rose's bed and picked up her phone from the desk. "Alright, go ahead, skip school today. But no phone, no TV, and no going out for an entire week." With that, Ellie walked out of the room.

After about 15 minutes, Rose emerged, heading straight to the kitchen, where she grabbed an apple. She found Ellie sitting in the living room, peacefully sipping her coffee.

"Mom, I'm leaving for school. Can I have my phone?" Rose asked, biting into her apple.

"Oh, I thought someone wanted to skip today," Ellie replied with a small smile as she handed Rose her phone.

"Huh... well, I'm running late. Bye!" Rose said and hurried out.

Outside, she pulled out her phone and dialed Sia's number.

On the phone...

"Hey! Are you coming today?" Rose asked.

"Yeah, what about you?" Sia replied.

"Yep, I'm on my way. Are those two idiots coming too?" Rose chuckled.

"Evan's with me, but Adam's still busy flirting with girls," Sia laughed.

"As expected. Alright, I'll be there in five minutes," Rose said, ending the call.

She started her motorcycle and sped off, driving with her usual intensity.

Rose Garcia-a fierce, quiet, and rebellious presence at school-is a national boxing champion with a passion for motorcycles. Raised by her single mother, a lawyer, Rose deeply respects and loves Ellie, and this respect keeps her in line. Though feared by many, and admired by most boys for her beauty, Rose is loyal and protective of her closest friends: Sia, Adam, and Evan. They mean the world to her.

Sia Fernandez, meanwhile, is the second daughter of Ragini and George Fernandez. Her mother is Indian, and her father is American. Known as "Sunshine" for her warm personality, Sia is sweet, endlessly talkative, but with a fierce temper if anyone messes with her loved ones. A bookworm and aspiring writer, Sia dreams of publishing novels one day.

Then there's Adam Lopez and Evan Williams-the heartthrobs of their school.

Adam Lopez has three main obsessions: the gym, his cats, and high-end vehicles. Indifferent to others' opinions, he lives as he pleases. Two bad habits, though, mark his life: he smokes, and he's a notorious playboy. Despite coming from a wealthy family, Adam chooses to live alone with his two cats, Lily and Coco.

Evan Williams, on the other hand, is the son of Joseph Williams, one of LA's best chefs. A dedicated student and captain of the school's basketball team, Evan helps his dad at the family restaurant and has a deep love for music. Talented with the guitar and blessed with a beautiful voice, Evan is the school's most handsome guy, but he avoids the attention it brings. His calm, focused personality contrasts sharply with Adam's wild side.

After about 15 minutes, Rose reached school. She parked her bike and walked through the hallways, spotting Adam flirting with a girl.

"You know, I've never met anyone as gorgeous as you," Adam said, leaning against the wall with one hand on the girl's waist.

"What an idiot..." Rose muttered. She walked up to Adam and raised her voice, "So, this is your new girlfriend?"

The moment Adam heard Rose, he immediately stepped away from the girl.

"R-Rose! Hey, what are you doing here?" Adam stammered.

"Who's this, Sour Candy?" the girl sneered, glancing at Rose.

Rose rolled her eyes while Adam stood there in silence, swallowing hard.

"Sour Candy? That's the best you could come up with?" Rose said, giving the girl a piercing glare.

"She's new here and doesn't know anyone," Adam explained, winking at the girl.

"Great. And did you forget about our group project that's due today? I'm guessing you didn't bring the file I gave you yesterday?" Rose asked, hands on her hips.

"I..." Adam stammered, speechless.

Rose rolled her eyes and walked off. "Unbelievable."

"Wait, Rose! I'm sorry... wait up!" Adam called, rushing after her, leaving the girl baffled.

Rose reached her locker and began putting away her things when Adam caught up with her.

"Rose, I totally forgot the file. I'm really sorry," he said.

"Of course you did. You were too busy flirting to remember anything important," she replied, frustrated.

"I was just having a little fun," he said with a grin.

"You've used that excuse a thousand times. Adam, it's time to get serious," she snapped.

"Alright, alright. Last time, I promise," he said sheepishly.

At that moment, Sia and Evan walked up.

"If you guys are done, can we get to class now?" Evan asked.

"Yeah, let's go," Rose said.

The day passed uneventfully until lunchtime. While Evan, Sia, and Adam were seated at their usual table in the cafeteria, Adam looked around.

"Where's Rose?" he asked.

"Oh, dealing with some of Harry's minions, as usual," Sia replied.

"That jerk never leaves her alone, does he?" Adam muttered.

"She'll handle it," Evan said confidently.

Just then, six or seven boys sprinted into the cafeteria, and Rose followed close behind, holding a hockey stick. The boys scrambled to hide behind Evan.

"Please, save us!" one pleaded.

"Nope, you're on your own," Evan replied.

"Beg all you want; you're not getting out of this one," Rose yelled, waving the hockey stick until they scattered.

"Is Harry still bothering you?" Adam asked, chuckling.

"Yep. Said he'd scratch my bike if I didn't say yes to him," Rose replied, taking a sandwich from Sia's plate.

"Don't tell me you beat him with that hockey stick," Sia said, wide-eyed.

"Obviously," Rose smirked.

Evan and Adam laughed while Sia shook her head in disbelief.

"The principal's gonna suspend you one day, idiot," Sia muttered.

"Yeah, right. It was his fault, not mine, and I doubt he's brave enough to report it," Rose replied, unfazed.

"By the way, everyone's coming over to my place tonight for a party," Adam announced.

"Why?" Rose asked, puzzled.

"Because it's Coco's birthday," Adam grinned.

"Fine," everyone agreed.

Just then, a girl approached, holding a lunch tray.

"Hey, Sour Candy! Can I sit next to you?" she asked.

Evan and Sia exchanged glances, but Rose ignored her.

"Oh, of course, sweetheart," Adam said, patting the seat next to him. "Guys, meet my girlfriend, Sarah. Sarah, these are my friends."

"Hi, everyone! I'm Sarah Smith," the girl chirped.

Sia and Evan gave her a polite smile.

"Her skirt couldn't get any shorter," Sia whispered to Evan.

"Agreed," Evan murmured back.

Everyone finished their lunch and headed to class. The rest of the school day flew by.

That evening, Rose returned to her room, locked the door, threw herself onto the bed, and fell asleep almost instantly.
