"...and then she punched him hard in his face! His until nose bleeds!"
Hyeji who just walked in with her new rear bumper, shook her head hearing Jisung telling Bangchan about what happened last night.
"Crazy! I know Hyeji once learn boxing with Jeno but never expect Minhyuk is the first one to eat her fist!" Bangchan replied while laughing. Jisung smiled proudly before crossing his arms, "you should apply that to Seonwu if he came near again"
Hyeji chuckled, "Depends on my mood actually. Minyuk literally was testing my patience last night, I'm not having it" she said while taking off her old rear bumper with her coworker.
"Isn't that your opponent, Jisung?" she asked.
"Yeah, he's the one that I don't like- Chan hyung also hates him"
Bangchan nodded his head, "if you want to know Hyeji, Minhyuk always play dirty on the track to win, everytime" she raised her eyebrows and turned to Jisung. "Really?" the male nodded his head.
"He's very selfish and rude that's why we don't like him"
"He must be bad on track because he plays dirty all the time"
Bangchan nodded his head, agreeing with the girl, "I still don't know why his name is still not banned from racing"
Jisung shrugged, "money" - "Oh."
"very good morning everyone!"
A voice cheerfully greeted after entering the workshop. Without turning around, Hyeji could guess who it was already. A smile crept on her face, still fixing her rear bumper.
"I heard my sister punch a man, last night" Haechan muttered, approaching the girl. Hyeji turned to her side, seeing Haechan smirking. "You punched Minhyuk, baby sis? No one ever dares to touch him before, you're on another level" he seriously said before slowly clapping his hands.
"You're overreacting" she retorted.
Haechan scoffed and turned to his twin, "Jeno-ah! She didn't believe me, she's the first to lay a hand on that cocky dude"
Jeno furrowed his eyebrows, "a girl? Yes, Hyeji is the first. I did a few times punch him before, Jisung too" he shrugged and went towards Hyeji to help the girl.
"He deserves every punch that lay on his face" Hyeji muttered while doing her works.
Her brothers chuckled, "with what he did to your car? Yes, he asking for one" Haechan laughed before getting up and went towards somewhere.
Jeno turned towards the girl who focused doing her works and glanced towards Jisung who was helping Bangchan.
"How's your date last night?"
Her movements halted for a second before she slowly placed down her tools. She gave a quick glance towards the tall male, "went well"
Jeno raised his eyebrows, "just well?"
She side eyed her brother who was smiling teasingly at her.
Again she gave a quick glance towards Jisung before whispering to Jeno.
"I think I like him"
"You think?"
"Okay, I like him"
Jeno let a chuckle and nodded his head, "yeah, I could see that- I mean, we could see that" Hyeji raised her eyebrows, "what do you mean? Are we being that obvious?"
The elder hummed, "hella obvious- but it's totally fine though, we all supports you two together"
"Exactly"
A voice appeared beside Hyeji, startling the girl and she swears she almost punch him. "Hyuck, you always startled me! I could punch you" the tanned male flashed an innocent smile.
"Jeno is right, we all support you two- please get together, my favorite ships JiJi couple!"
Her eyes widened and immediately hushed him, "slow down your voice!" Hyeji muttered, panicked. Thankfully Jisung was very busy in his own world with the cars so he didn't listen.
Or maybe he did?
The clock ticked at 10:30pm and Hyeji just cleaned the workshop, about the closed the rails but her action stopped when a car stopped by in front of the workshop.
She narrowed her eyes from the lights that hit her eyes.
"Excuse me, are you about to close the workshop? I really need to change my battery car!" a girl hop out from the car, approaching Hyeji.
"Hyeji?"
"Yurim?"
The girl straightened her backs and cleared her throat. "Oh it's you... Is this..." Yurim looked around the workshop, "Is this your workshop?" she hesitantly asked and Hyeji simply nodded.
"Dang, Jisung really sets his standard high"
Hyeji pushed up the rails again, "What was it, earlier? You need to change your car's battery?"
Yurim immediately nodded and Hyeji observed the girl's car. "Come in first, I tried to find the battery at the store" Yurim sighed in relief before hop inside her car again to park inside the workshop, meanwhile Hyeji went at the store.
Once she did, she awkwardly took a seat on the couch that was provided, taking a look from the workshop.
It's her first time here, she never actually ever been to any workshop as it usually always her brother who went to fix the car. Yurim borrowed her brother's car for tonight as she told him she wanted to go out with her friends.
"This won't take a long time," Hyeji muttered, walking back from the store with a new battery.
She turned towards the fridge nearby, "you can have a drink while waiting, mineral water is free" Yurim awkwardly nodded.
"I... didn't expect to meet you here" she muttered which made Hyeji chuckled, "Oh trust me, I was also shock"
Yurim rubbed her nape nervously, "well... sorry about a few days ago"
Yurim really felt like she did mess with a wrong girl and did judge Hyeji wrong. Just like Jisung's friends said, Jisung raised his standard so he got Hyeji.
Hyeji easily humbled Yurim.
The girl observed how Hyeji took out the old battery and changed it to a new one.
She's impressed.
She's stunned.
Hyeji is really the standard, perfect for Jisung.
"Sorry, about what?" Hyeji casually asked and Yurim shrugged, "Uh you know, for judging you wrong and said you are a bitch- after thinking about it, I was really wrong"
Hyeji looked up towards her and flashed a smile.
"You changed your mind a bit too quick, don't you think so?"
Yurim nervously laughed, "Yeah, I believe Chenle now. Jisung deserves someone like you- I never meet any girl who can fix cars, I only saw it on TV- do you perhaps also join racing?"
Hyeji nodded, "yeah but I stopped for some reasons years ago, I join motor cross now"
"Oh... She's that type of girl" -Yurim's thought.
Hyeji closed the bonnet and looked at the girl, "You need to change the tyres by the way"
Yurim got up from the couch and nodded her head, "it's late already, I guess I will come back here tomorrow... Can I?" Hyeji grinned and kept her toolbox, "of course you can"
"How much for everything?" Yurim asked, taking out her wallet.
"60$ for the battery"
Yurim got inside the car after paying and rolled down the window, "thank you, Hyeji. I will come back here tomorrow" Hyeji shrugged and smiled, "anytime"
"My apologies again about what happened, I was wrong"
"Apologies accepted, go home quick. You don't want to drive this late alone"
Yurim flashed a smile and nodded her head, biding a goodbye before driving away from the workshop. Hyeji chuckled and shook her head, "my life is a comedy at this point"
