Cracking the Maps

Valeriña had shown the stolen clothes to the 'crew', letting everyone change.
She was wearing a long-sleeved white button-up, with one two many buttons undone, she threw on black slacks, kept the same corset, kept her katana sheaths, and her thigh holster.
A few hours later. Nami and Luffy were arguing about something on the deck, while Valeriña sat on the swinging table thing in front of Zoro, trying to read a book she found on the ship, it was in English so she could only pick out two words in the first few pages, Zoro was trying to sleep.
He groaned when the fighting duo kept arguing.
"Will you two knock it off? I'm trying to take a nap."
"Oh, I'm sorry. Were we interrupting your beauty sleep?" Nami raised her head from the safe.
Zoro lay down with his eyes closed. "Don't like what you see? Look away."
Valeriña mocked him, loudly in Spanish, not looking towards him. "¡Mi sensualidad es demasiado fuerte para manejarla, ¡mira hacia otro lado!"
He pushed the swing she was on, grabbing her by her hips, making her drop her book, causing a swear to break the barrier of her lips, and pulling her to sit by him. Nami rolled her eyes at Zoro, as Luffy smiled at the tired duo. Zoro held onto the feeling of her next to him, as he tried to sleep.
A few seconds later, with Valeriña watching them, the duo, Nami, got the safe open. "You did it!" Luffy exclaimed in a voice a bit louder than a whisper.
Zoro stood, pulling Valeriña with him, he walked over to Nami and Luffy, rudely pushing Nami slightly, making her roll her eyes at him.
Valeriña hit his arm gently, making Nami smile at Valeriña appreciatively. She nodded at the girl.
"That's it? Isn't there supposed to be gold inside a safe? Or jewels?" Zoro said examining the safe, and its contents.
"This is more valuable than gold-" Nami started, mad at Zoro. "It's knowledge." Nami finished at the same time as Valeriña said. "It's conocimiento, Ro."
Valeriña said, looking over the papers, but she couldn't read English, so she just skimmed them, picking out a few words. Nami nodded approvingly at Valeriña, guessing she was agreeing with her words. "This is a map to the Grand Line."
Luffy jumped into the conversation. "The Grand Line. Ah- The Grand Line is just right... where is it exactly?" "You're going to the Grand Line, but you don't know where it is?" Nami questioned him.
Luffy smirked at her. "I guess I need a navigator on my crew."
Nami gave him a look, walking away from the trio.

They had all now squeezed into the small main room on the small ship, Zoro and Valeriña were in earlier, with Nami explaining the maps to them.
"The seas are divided into four quadrants."
She said, drawing out a circle and writing on it.
"East blue, North blue, West, South. This thin strip of land that circles the globe is called-'' Valeriña interrupted her. "The Roja Line, and the band across the middle is The Grand Line."
Valeriña informed them, staring down at the map, looking up when no one said anything. "How did you know that?" Nami inquired as the woman looked up.
"Just cause I can't read English, doesn't mean I can't read maps." Zoro nodded proudly at Valeriña when she spoke agakn. Nami and Luffy looked confused but still the girl continued. "It's a treacherous stretch of ocean with bigger islands, bigger cities, bigger pirates. Flush with riches and ripe for the picking." Nami finished for Valeriña.
Luffy looked over at Zoro and Valeriña, he was standing, as she sat with one leg up, an arm stretched over her knee. "And that's where we're gonna find the One Piece." "We've taken out a lot of pirates looking for that thing. What is it?"
Valeriña spoke again, after Zoro. "Like, mucho oro, or grandes diamantés?" She asked, looking at Zoro for a translation. Nami and Luffy looked confused towards Valeriña, expecting her to translate. "A lot of gold, or big diamonds?"
"Ah diamonds, pensé qué era 'deamonds'." She told Zoro in Spanish, butchering the word diamonds, making him huff a little smile.
Nami and Luffy wanted another translation but when Zoro didn't give one, Luffy answered the duo's questions. "It's Gold Roger's treasure. He hid it somewhere in the Grand Line. All in one piece."
Nami dropped her pencil on the table. "It's a myth. The reason no one has found it in 22 years is that it doesn't exist." Valeriña didn't know what 'myth' meant so she looked over at Zoro. "El mito." He mumbled looking over at her. She stumbled over the word 'myth' a few times, under her breath.
"Can't wait to see the look on your face when we find it." Luffy boasted to Nami, smiling.
The room lit up in red as an explosion boomed from outside, making the group jump up."Is that the Marines?" Zoro asked Valeriña, knowing she could feel their preferences.
No-
Zoro sent her a confused look as Nami interrupted their internal conversation. "How did they find us?" Nami questioned no one in particular.
The group walked out. Watching a red smoke fall from the sky. "This smoke smells weird."
Don't breathe it in!
"Don't breathe in the smoke! Don't-!" Valeriña fell over coughing as she inhaled the smoke. She held her breath in, not speaking again, watching Luffy stumble over to the map and swallow it. She ignored him going over to Zoro, nudging his arm, but he was out cold and she had inhaled too much of the smoke from yelling and fell against a passed-out Zoro.
