A/N: GUY WE REACHED 8K READS!!!🥳🥳🥳
-Thank you guys so much for taking time out of your day to read my story❤️
——————————————————————

"Up there." Jado pointed to an exit to the sewer. I used the forced to launch the sewer plug upwards. "Need me to-"

I jumped with the force outside of the sewers. A family of Sullanstans were in a speeder staring at me.

"Good day." I waved to them, trying to relieve the awkwardness of me jumping out of the sewer systems.

Jado flew upwards with the rockets built into his boots. "We're inspectors." He smiled and kicked the sewer plug back in place. He ushered me over to a market stall.

"Can you sense him now?" He asked. The place was too congested, it's not like I had a bond with him or anything, so I couldn't find him. His force presence was not of light, or dark. It was rather neutral.

"No, it's too packed here." I said.

"Well good thing I have a solution." He said walking over to an old woman.

"Are we gonna asked her?" He shushed me.

"Hello, M'lady." He leaned on a self infront of her stall. "I was wondering if you had any information on an individual."

The older woman looked him up and down. "Depends, who is it?"

"Ehh, he's yea tall." He put his hand slightly above his head. "Dressed in a cloak, you know like a Jedi."

The lady pondered for a moment, and begun to pull out a box. She was definitely going to charge us for information.

"But I don't know," Jado smirked. "Someone as gorgeous as you probably doesn't really need to focus on anyone else." He fake sighed. I crossed my eyes, displeased.

"You flatter me..." she put the box back under her table. "I saw the fella you were looking for, he went down that alley." She pointed.

"Thank you ma'am." I gave her a slight bow and began walking to the alley.

Jado caught up with me. "See, I'm popular with the ladies." He grinned.

"Im sure you are." I rolled my eyes. Jado smiled and pulled out the two blaster pistols at his hip

"Relax, they're stun only." He reassured me.

"I wasn't even going to say anything." I lied. He shook his head disapprovingly.

"Meet me in the warehouse, alone." I heard a voice in my head. It called to me, I didn't even realize I had stopped walking.

"Liyah? You good?" I snapped back to Jado with both hands on my shoulder. "Did you have one of those vision things?"

"No, but we should split up." I said.

"What? Why?"

"To find him easier. Just contact me if you find him."

"Okay then." He replied. "You do the same, don't engage with him alone."

"I can handle myself."

"I know you can. It's just...we're a team so you're supposed to do what I would do for you."

"Fine." I relented. "I'll make sure you're the first who knows I found him. You go that way." I pointed up ahead. He nodded and began walking.

I found the dark warehouse the voice in my head told me to find. I lit my lightsaber for some light and walked around.

"You got my message." The overhead lights lit on simultaneously. Osiro was standing at the top of the stairwell. He jumped down and threw his cloak to the side.

He had long brown hair, with an even longer Padawan braid. He looked different from most male Padawans. His clothing wasn't that of robes, but baggy pants and a leather shirt. I also noticed his eyes, I hadn't truly seen them during our last encounter, but one eye was green and the other was dark brown. I could also see two lightsabers strapped to both his hips.

"Please extinguish your lightsaber. I told you I wish not to fight, but to defend." He said. I reluctantly extinguished it.

"Your names Liyah right?" He stepper closer.

"Yes."

"Did the Jedi tell you the full extent of my 'crimes'?" He walked around me in circles. If it wasn't for his Padawan braid, I would have thought he was a council member interrogating me for something I did.

"You're a traitor, you left the order without cause, and you have committed crimes." I repeated what the Masters told me, paraphrasingly.

"What crimes?"

"I...I don't know, but Jedi aren't to commit crimes!"

"Do you wish to know of my 'crimes'" he chuckled.

"What's funny?"

"You just remind me so much of myself not to long ago. Blind."

I ignored his projection, "What did you do?"

"Vigilantism." He simply said. "I help those who can't help themselves, and because the Jedi prefer to fight a war."

"What?"

"How many Jedi do you see down here? Well, besides yourself." He has me stumped there. It was common notice that Jedi couldn't patrol everywhere and help everyone, but we were trying.

"I have been stripped from my rank as Jedi, therefore anything I do to keep peace, is a crime. All because I didn't want to fight a war that has nothing to do with me." He said. He rolled his left sleeve up. "See this scar?" It was a long scar running up his arm. "I got this from helping a woman, she was being robbed." He turned around and moved his hair away from his neck, another scar. "This, is when I saved three kids who stole a peace of bread from a stall. They were starving, and when the owner caught them, he made them pick which of the boys would have their fingers cut off." I gasped.

"I didn't know..."

"Because you didn't ask. Because you're blind. Why get knowledge of something you can't see."

"Stop saying I'm blind, I see you clear as day." I shot back. "But I understand what you're saying. The Jedi are preoccupied and can't fully honor our code."

"They aren't occupied, they want power that we were never supposed to have."

"What do you mean?"

"Ask yourself, why are Jedi commanding armies? Why are Jedi at the forefront of the war?"

"It's to keep the peace—"

"Wrong."

"We have to, it's our duty, to the Republic!"

"Wrong again, my young friend."

I had came to the realization. "It's...it's to maintain order..to defend the Galaxy.."

"You're almost there." He smiled. "I'm not villainizing you. I understand the position you're in, and I even more understand the progression of the war is calling for Jedi to lead the fight. I really just wanted to explain myself."

I nodded, understanding his point of view. "If I don't capture you, someone else will." I said. Drawing my lightsaber.

"Then I'll be waiting." He smiled and drew both of his green blades.

"Jedi, and Bounty hunters are after you. Ziro, the Hutt."

He laughed at the mention of Ziro. "Now that's truly funny, even in prison, the Hutt still wants me gone."

I was circling him, as he got into a defensive stance. Fighting someone with two lightsabers, especially a user of form 3, was going to be difficult. "What did you do?" I asked.

"I prevented his escape. A few rotations ago, a league of Hutt worshippers were plotting to storm the prison, let's just say I shut it down quickly, and left a warning."

"My Masters are going to be disappointed in me if I don't bring you ." I sighed. "I'd get stuck on guard duty or something."

He chuckled. "The council members truly deal out the best punishments. But I would be very appreciative if you didn't bring me in." He smiled.

"I'm sorry I cannot give you my word. But I will surely vouch for you as much as I can."

"I can be content with that." He swung his blades around like a whirlwind and struck my blade with both of them, causing me to switch to a two hand stance.

I heard two blasters fire and Osiro dropped to the ground. He was stunned. "What happened to alerting me?" Jado sighed, as he placed his pistols back on his hips.

"Sorry, I got caught up."

"Now then, since I'm the one who got the target, I think I should take him." He said with a mischievous grin.

"I don't think so." I said. "He's supposed to be in Jedi custody."

"So are we actually gonna fight on this?" He crossed his arms.

"If need be."

"Hmm, okay." He threw something at the ground. It erupted and fog filled the area. I tried to swat it out my face but I felt myself go limp, like during Masters drills. Jado stunned me.

I wobbled and fell to the ground. After being stunned so much during masters training, I was still able to stay conscious.

I felt arms picking me up. "Sorry it had to come to this." Jado whispered. "But I need these credits, y'know? But I kept my promise, I wouldn't hurt you." He took me out the spoke and placed me down on-top of two crates.

"I'll make it up to you, some day, okay?" He smiled and left. I could see him picking up Osiro in my peripheral vision.
