Conner, Ethan, and Y/N look at each other, a bit nervous that Dr. Oliver caught them off guard.
Ethan: Dr. O, before you go off, can we explain why we're here?
Conner: Dude, he's just going to laugh when we tell him.
Ethan: It's the truth. He'll believe us.
Y/N: I hope you're right about this human shield. (To Dr. Oliver) Kira's gone. She was kidnapped. These dinosaur-looking freaks took her.
Conner: He doesn't look convinced.
Dr. Oliver: (sighs) They're called Tyrannodrones.
Ethan: And you know that because?
Dr. Oliver: I helped create them.
Y/N: Oh... that's cool. So you're not Batman, apparently your freaking Dr. Frenkstain.
Dr. Oliver: Look it's a long story. For now, we gotta figure out what they want with Kira.
Conner shows Dr. Olvier his dino gem.
Conner: It might have something to do with these.
Cut to Mesogog's lair
Kira wakes up and hears a voice speaking to her. She freaks out and gets off the chair. She starts to look for the source of the voice but was unable to find it.
Mesogog: Give. me. The gems.
Kira: Who's there? Come out so I can see you.
Mesogog: Give me the gems.
Kira: Is this about jewellry? Look, pal, clearly, you've got the wrong girl. I may wear a friendship bracelet once in a while.
Mesogog appears next to her and makes Kira jump back out of fear.
Mesogog: I have waited far too long to allow an insignificant teenager to get in my way. Now, where are the Dino Gems?
Kira: You mean those rock things we found in the cave?
Kira turns around to run but Mesogog appears in front of her again.
Mesogog: Yes.
Kira: I gave mine to Y/N, Conner, and Ethan. You'll have to ask them. Can I go? My mom's going to freak if I'm late for dinner. It's taco night.
Mesogog disappears in front of her and Kira thinks she is hallucinating.
Kira: Okay, that's it. No more cafeteria food.
Kira turned around again but this time Elsa was behind her.
Elsa: You'll be lucky if you ever see food again.
Cut to Dr. Oliver's underground base
Conner: We're really sorry. How were we supposed to know those things had superpowers, and those lizard dudes were going to come looking for 'em?
Dr. Oliver: I guess it isn't something you see every day.
Ethan: Sort of like a science teacher with the ruins of an ancient civilization under his house.
Y/N: Look man, as cool and weird as all this is. You need to tell us the truth about what the heck is going on. Kira's life might depend on it.
Dr. Oliver: Okay, first of all, I'm not your "man". Second, as hard as this may seem, you three need to forget all about this. I'll find Kira.
Y/N looks over at Conner and nods. Conner uses his super speed to get in front of Dr. Oliver.
Y/N: I'm sorry Dr. Oliver, but we came here to get some answers. And one way or another, you're gonna tell us the truth.
Dr. Oliver just looks behind him to look at Y/N. He just smiles at his threat.
Dr. Oliver: The gem's power is already starting to bond with you.
Cut back to Mesogo's lair
Kira walked backwards to get away from Elsa but she just kept walking towards Kira.
Kira: You got a name? You kinda look familiar.
Elsa: My master calls me Elsa.
Kira: Your master? Okay, whatever. Look, I'm going to let myself out.
Elsa grabs Kira's shoulder, but Kira shugs her off and goes to strike. Elsa blocks the hit and goes to counterattack but Kira blocks each of her hits. Kira grabbed her arm and twisted it so Elsa was close to the ground. Elsa breaks free and goes to strike again, but Kira just spins and kicks her away.
Kira: Whoa. I so did not mean to do that.
Kira went to run away but Zeltrax and a group of tyrannodrones blocked the way. Elsa recovers and gets up.
Elsa: Meet Zeltrax.
Kira: You two dating, or just friends?
Zeltrax goes to attack Kira with his axe, but Kira uses her sonic scream to knock them all back. She sees her chance and runs out to the hallway.
Elsa: After her!
Kira continues to run down the hallway. looking for a where out, until she finds a small green vortex in front of her. She looks back behind her and sees Zeltrax and the tyrannodrones closing in. With no other option, she touches the vortex and disappears.
Cut to the open road
Dr. Oliver was driving Y/N, Conner, and Ethan somewhere to try and rescue Kira.
Ethan: When you said you helped create those Tyranno-whatever, you were just kidding, right?
Dr. Oliver: They weren't supposed to be used like this. Someone has modified their programming. A few years back, I was doing research on combining dinosaur DNA with technology. My partner, a scientist named Anton Mercer--
Ethan: The rich guy who disappeared years ago?
Dr. Oliver: Yep. Shortly after Mercer disappeared, our lab was attacked. All of our research was destroyed. Or at least I thought it was.
Y/N: So the guy who attacked and destroyed your lab is back?
Dr. Oliver: He calls himself Mesogog.
Conner: And you think he's after the gems?
Dr. Oliver: Looks like it.
Y/N: Alright, this was a fun history lesson, but how is this helping us find Kira?
Ethan: I'm with him, it's not like she's just going to fall out of the sky and land right in front of us.
Kira falls out of the sky and lands on top of Dr. Oliver's jeep. Everyone just stares at her, shocked at what just happened. After the moment has passed, Everyone gets out of the car and goes to help Kira down.
Ethan: How did you do that?
Kira: I have no idea. One minute, I'm being chased by Franken-Lizard through this creepy lab, and the next thing I know, I'm a hood ornament.
Dr. Oliver: Invisi-portals.
Kira: Whatever. Next time, I'm calling a cab. What are you guys doing here?
Y/N: Umm we came... to save you.
Kira: Great job. Way to show up when I don't need you anymore.
Zeltrax and the tyrannodrones teleport in.
Y/N: You sure about that?
Dr. Oliver: Mesogog find a new goon to do his dirty work?
Zeltrax: You are not fit to speak my master's name. Come with me peacefully, or suffer the consequences.
Dr. Oliver: I'm going to have to say no.
Zeltrax was displeased with his response, he and his tyrannodrones went to attack Dr. Oliver and his students. The group separates and fights their own bunch of tyrannodrones while Dr. Oliver fights Zeltrax.
With Dr. Oliver
Dr. Oliver spin-kicks one of the tyrannodrones, he then jumps on top of his car and kicks another one down. However, one of the tyrannodrons got the upper hand and kicked Dr. Olvier back into his car door.
Dr. Oliver: Looks like Mesogog made a few improvements.
Zeltrax goes to attack Dr. Oliver with his axe, but he opens his car door to act as a shield and block the axe. Dr. Oliver then kicks Zeltrax's shield and fips into his car. He blocks another attack from the axe but he causes him to fall back down to the ground. He gets up and spin-kicks Zeltrax back.
With Kira
Kira blocks one of the attacks and uses its momentum to flip the Tyrannodron to the ground. She avoids another attack by backfliping away and does a leg sweep on the nearest Tyanndoron. Once the Tyannodrons are grouped together, she uses her sonic scream to knock them all out.
Kira: Okay, that's just crazy.
With Y/N
Y/N was kicked in the stomach and was forced back into two Tyrannodrons. They grab hold of him, but Y/N uses brute strength to smash both Tyrannodrons into each other and is free. He high kicks another one running towards him and uses the momentum of the kick to launch himself into another Tyrannodron and knock it out. He hears the roar in his head again and ducks from a swipe coming behind him.
Y/N: I'm loving this sixth sense.
He does an axe kick on the tyrannodron in front of him.
With Ethan
Ethan does his best to dodge the attacks but is overwhelmed by the sheer number of them. He spots a crate nearby and kicks into one of the Tyranndorns but he proves useless and they strike him in the stomach. This however just made Ethan angry. Another Tyranndorn goes to attack by is blocked by Ethan's iron-like skin. Having enough, Ehtan unleashed his rage on the Tyranndrons by striking with powers now.
With Conner
Conner jumps away from a leg sweep and backflips to gain some distance. He blocks two strikes and smiles at the Tyranndorns.
Conner: Now you see me.
Conner uses his super speed to run past the Tryanndorns. He turns around and drops kicks another Tyranndorn into the dirt.
Conner: (smirks) Now you're unconscious.
With Dr. Oliver
Zeltrax backkicks Dr. Oliver, causing him to fall to the ground.
Zeltrax: You're no match for me!
Zeltrax then rushes at Dr. Oliver with his axe held up high. Dr. Oliver gets up and spin-kicks Zeltrax twice in a row, forcing him back. The rest of the group joins him, defeating their Tyranndrons.
Dr. Oliver: Make sure you tell your master Dr. Oliver's back.
Zeltrax: I will inform him this battle is over, but the war has only just begun!
Zeltrax and the remaining Tyranndrons teleport out of there.
Ethan: That's the best he could do?
Y/N: I hope not, I was barely warming up.
Dr. Oliver: Let's get outta here. It's getting late. I don't want your parents to worry.
Conner: I bet you don't. You might have to explain something.
Dr. Oliver: I'll fill you in tomorrow after school, I promise.
Cut to Mesogog's lair
Mesogog: Dr. Thomas Oliver. I should have known. Zeltrax is our aerial
attack craft in position?
Zeltrax: It is.
Mesogog: Good. When the Bio Zords have completed the first strike, launch your aerial assault. The citizens of Reefside will think that idiot Lothor has returned to town. They won't know what's hit them until it's too late.
Cut to the next day at Reefside High School
The school bell rang and everyone was going to their classes. Cassidy runs up to Kira to interview her about what happened yesterday.
Cassidy: Kira Ford. Cassidy Cornell, Reefside News Network.
Kira: I know who you are. We're in homeroom together.
Cassidy: Yeah, anyway, what can you tell me about the mysterious goings-on at Reefside? For example, the sudden friendship between you, Conner McKnight, Y/N L/N, and Ethan James.Or better yet, the strange creatures that appeared out of nowhere, and they attacked you in broad daylight. What about that, huh?
Kira: Look, I have no idea what you're talking about. But as you can see, I'm just fine. But you. You look kind of, oh, pasty.
Cassidy: Pasty? Are you serious? I hate fluorescent lighting.
Dr. Oliver walks into his classroom.
Dr. Oliver: Cassidy, unless you plan on giving a lecture on the Mesozoic period, I suggest you take your seat.
Cassidy does as Dr. Oliver says and goes to her seat.
Dr. Oliver: Thank you. Okay, who can tell me when it all began?
The whole school starts to shake and rumble. All the students hid underneath their desks for protection. The sky darkens, and thunder and lightning start to go off. The students went to the window to see what was going on.
Cut to the City
The whole city is pitch black in the middle of the day. Zeltrax was flying his Aerial Assault Craft above the city. Releasing the Bio Zords to run amok, destroying the city, and scaring the civilians.
Zeltra: (Laughing) The Bio Zords are running free, master.
Cut back to the School
Devin runs into the classroom to tell Cassidy what he found out was going on in the city.
Devin: You are not going to believe this.
Cassidy: (sarcastic) Let me guess. The sky went back in the middle of the day?
Devin: It did? Whoa, look at that!
Cassidy: Devin, hello! What?
Devin: Oh, yeah, right. I just heard this wack report about mechanical dinosaurs attacking downtown.
Dr. Oliver overhears this and becomes concerned.
Cassidy: Grab your camera.
Devin: I've got it.
Dr. Oliver: Wait, hold it, you two.
Announcement: Students, remain calm. The mayor has declared a state of emergency. Please report to the front of the school for immediate dismissal. Again, remain calm.
Y/N, Ethan, Kira, and Conner go up to Dr. Oliver to figure out what was going on.
Kira: Dr. O, now would be a good time to have that little chat.
Dr. Oliver: We're outta time. If Mesogog revived the Bio Zords, we gotta act fast. Come with me.
Ethan: What's the worst that can happen?
Y/N: Death. Death is the worst that can happen to us.
Ethan: I was only kidding I didn't actually want to know the answer.
Conner: You shouldn't have asked then.
Cut to Dr. Oliver's underground command center
Kira: So, these mechanical dinosaurs, they're your friends?
Dr. Oliver: Bio Zords. Fusion-powered replicants using actual dinosaur DNA for their neurofunctions.
Ethan: Wait, let me guess. You helped build them.
Dr. Oliver: I'm afraid so.
Y/N: Dr. O, what's with you and dinosaurs? It's like you're obsessed with them or something.
Dr. Oliver: Like I said, it's a long story but right now we... I mean, you have to tame them.
Ethan: I'll B.B.L. if it's all the same to you.
Dr.Oliver: What does that mean?
Ethan: "Be back later."
Ethan turns to leave but is stopped by Dr. Oliver.
Dr. Oliver: Ethan, wait. You can do this. But you won't have to do it alone. Ever since I found the Dino Gems, I've had these waiting, in case I ever needed to harness their powers.
Kira: Into what?
Dr. Oliver pulls out a case containing Morphers.
Dr. Oliver: Dino Morphers. Use these to become Power Rangers.
Y/N, Ethan, Conner, and Kira were surprised by what he just said. It was almost too much for them
Y/N: You gotta be messing with us.
Dr. Oliver: I'm afraid I'm not. The world needs the four of you right now.
Ethan: I gotta sit down.
Conner: Breathe, dude.
Y/N: The last time I even heard about the Power Rangers they were in Blue Bay Harbor. Why can't we just give them a call or I dunno, turn on the bat signal?
Dr. Oliver: Unfortunately those rangers lost their powers. And we need new power rangers to face Mesogog.
Kira: We can't be Power Rangers. Aren't you supposed to fly or have superhuman strength and stuff like that?
Dr. Oliver: You do.
Kira: Oh, yeah, I forgot.
Dr. Oliver: Your gems are from the asteroid that crashed into Earth millions of years ago, wiping out the entire dinosaur population. When I found them, I recognised their power and hid them so they wouldn't fall into the wrong hands.
Conner: How do you know these are the right hands?
Dr. Oliver: The gems are yours. You didn't choose them. They chose you.
Kira: Can't they un-choose us?
Dr. Oliver: They've already bonded with your DNA. That's what's giving you your powers.
Ethan: So, if they already bonded with us, how come Mesogog and his creeps are still after 'em?
Dr. Oliver: The only way these powers can be taken away is if you're destroyed.
Y/N: So you're telling us, the only way that this Mesogog guy can take the gems, is by killing us?
Dr. Oliver: It's a hasher way to put it, but yes.
Conner: Look, all I know is, I don't remember asking to be a superhero.
Dr. Oliver: The gems wouldn't have bonded to you if you didn't have something inside you that could handle the power. Please.
The four Teenagers looked at each other for a moment until they went to grab their morphers.
Ethan: So, now what? Do we need some kind of secret password or command?
Dr. Oliver: All you have to do is say "Dino Thunder, power up," and you'll be transformed. You'll know what to do.
Conner: Dino Thunder. (To Ethan) Did you come up with that?
Ethan: I kinda like it.
Conner: You would.
Dr. Oliver: Look, I know you four are from different worlds. I get it. But you have to work together, or this will never happen. This won't be easy. Nobody knows that better than I do. But you're going to have to believe in yourselves because I believe in you.
Y/N: Really?
Dr. Oliver: Really.
Cut to the city
The group drives to where the bio zords are running wild. They get out of the car and just stare at the zords in amazement and a bit of fear.
Conner: That must be them!
Kira: (sarcastic) Wow, good call, Conner.
From behind them, Zeltrax teleports in.
Zeltrax: You'll have to get past me before you get those Zords.
Conner: That's the part I'm looking forward to.
Ethan: You guys ready?
Kira: Oh, yeah.
Y/N: Let's do this.
Conner: Ready?
Y/N, Kira, Ethan: Ready!
Everyone: Dino Thunder, power up! Hah!
The new rangers look at themselves, amazed at the power they now have.
Ethan: Whoa!
Y/N: This feels incredible!
Kira: This totally rocks!
Conner: Oh yeah!
Zeltrax: So, you're Power Rangers.
Dr. Oliver: Call on your weapons. They're in your belt.
Conner: You got it, Dr. O.
Four weapons appear out of their belts and in front of each Ranger.
Conner: Nice! I got a Tyranno Staff!
Kira: I can come to grips with this. Ptera Grips!
Y/N: I can really slice up the competition with this! Para Saber!
Ethan: Sweet! A Tricera Shield!
Everyone: Hyah!
Zeltrax: Enough!
Zeltrax teleports in more Tyrannodrones to help him fight against the new Rangers. Both groups charge at each other and battle.
With Kira
Kira was blocking the Tyranndrone's attacks with her ptera grips. When she saw the chance, she struck one in the chest and pushed it away to face the next one. She continued to dodge and strike at each Tyranndrone almost like it was a dance routine. She uses one as leverage and kicks off it to flip through the air to gain some distance.
Kira: Is that all you got?
Kira jumps high in the air and bicycle kicks another Tyranndrone.
With Ethan
Ethan was swinging his tricera shield at every Tyranndrone that was close to him. The Tyranndron goes to attack but it doesn't even make a scratch on his shield. Ethan bashes the Tyranndron right in the chest and it goes limp. The rest of the Tyranndrones try to dogpail Ethan, but he just uses his shield like a mace and swings it all around him, damaging the Tyranndrones and freeing himself. He bashes two more Tyranndrones until one grabs onto his shield. Ethan simply throws the Tyranndron off and into a group of its comrades.
Ethan: See ya!
With Y/N
Y/N rushed toward the hoard of Tyranndrones, slashing at each one in front of him. One gets in the middle of them, he goes into a tail stance. Almost like it was second nature to him. He swipes his para saber into one of the Tyranndrones, launching it away. Y/N sticks his saber into the ground using it to swing himself into a Tyranndrone and scissors kick it. As he lands, he looks at the Tyranndrones. A few back away in fear.
Y/N: What? You freaks don't want to play anymore?
Y/N grabs his blade out of the ground and spins it. He then throws it like a spear into one of the Tyranndrons.
With Conner
Conner swigs his tyranno staff onto one of the Tyranndrone's legs, causing it to fall.
Conner: Have a nice trip! See ya next fall!
Conner then swigs his staff onto his back, blocking an attack from two Tyranndrones. He pushes them off him and blocks another attack from the front. Conner then swigs his staff in a 360 motion, hitting everything around him. He then thrust his staff in the Tyranndron in front of him. Conner uses his staff to pole vault across the field. When he lands he swigs his staff again and knocks out five Tryanndrones at once.
Back with everyone
Ethan goes to fight Zeltrax.
Ethan: Freeze!
Zeltrax: You first!
Zeltrax uses his power to shoot a blue electric line at Ethan, tying him up. He then throws Ethan into a nearby wall. Y/N, Conner, and Kira quickly run to his side.
Kira: Ethan!
Y/N: Are you okay human shield?
Ethan: Yeah, I'll be fine.
As Ethan gets up, the rest of the rangers get ready to face Zeltrax. Zeltrax shoots lasers out of his eyes and it hits all the Rangers. Causing them to fall to the ground. Dr. Oliver quickly ran as close as he could, filled with worry for their condition.
Dr. Oliver: Rangers! Combine your weapons.
Conner: Right!
The rangers quickly get back up and combine their weapons.
Rangers: Z-Rex Blaster! Ready, fire!
The Power Rangers shoot Zeltrax with a red beam. Blowing him away, but not destroying him.
Zeltrax: Aaah!
The Rangers celebrate their victory over him. While Dr. Oliver looks proud of their teamwork.
Conner: Yeah!
Kira: We did it!
Y/N: Was there ever any doubt?
Zeltrax slowly gets back up, injured from the blast.
Zeltrax: You showed me your weapon. Now meet mine!
Zeltrax telepots away. The Bio Zords become even more ramped, destroying the city at an alarming rate. Dr. Oliver and the Rangers look up at the sky and see Zeltrax's aerial attack craft.
Dr. Oliver: Huh?
Ethan: Huh? Whoa!
Zeltrax aims at the Rangers and shoots red beams at them.
Zeltrax: Fire! (Laughs Evilly)
Dr. Oliver and the Rangers run to Dr. Oliver's jeep for cover and to make a plan.
Conner: Okay, how do we fight that?
Y/N: I'm open to suggestions.
Dr. Oliver: You gotta tame the Zords. Concentrate. Your morphers will communicate your thoughts to them.
Conner: Let's go!
Y/N: Right!
The Rangers run out in the open to try to tame their zords.
Conner: Look at that!
Ethan: They're huge! whoa!
Ethan was the first to try to tame his zord.
Ethan: Calm down, boy. It's all good.
Kira: Careful!
The Tricerazord just looks at him and roars.
Ethan: That's right. I'm your friend. Tricera Zord!
The Tricerazord roars again and turns blue.
Ethan: It worked!
Y/N: Way to go man!
Kira steps up to go next.
Kira: Okay, my turn. Ptera Zord!
The Pterazord screeches and turns yellow.
Kira: We can be friends, right?
Conner: Oh, yeah!
Ethan: Awesome!
Y/N: That's two down, two to go.
Y/N steps up and looks at the Parasaurzord.
Y/N: Alright big buddy! I need you to trust me here. Parasaur Zord!
The Parasaurzord roars and turns into a lighter shade of green.
Kira: You did it!
The Rangers couldn't celebrate for long as the Tyrannozord went to attack the other zords.
Ethan: Conner, the Tyrannozord's out of control!
Kira: Do something!
Y/N: I'll try to buy you some time but hurry up!
Y/N looks down at his morpher to control the Parasaurzord.
Y/N: Parasaurzord! I need you to hold him still for as long as you can!
The Parasaurzord roars and goes to attack the Tyrannozord. Both zords bash their heads together, but it seems the Tyrannozord was the stronger of the two. The Tyrannozord goes to use its drill tail on the Parasaurzord, but the Parasaurzord opens up its tail and catches the drill in it. Trapping the Tyrannzord for a minute.
Y/N: Conner! It's now or never!
Conner: Right! Come on, I need you to work with me here! Tyranno Zord!
The Tyrannozord resists for a moment until it finally turns red.
Conner: Goal! Yes!
Dr. Oliver: Only one more thing to do. Bring 'em together. You can do it.
Conner: Okay. Let's do it!
Y/N, Ethan, Kira: Yeah!
Each Ranger jumps into their zords and a strange sphere appears in front of them.
Rangers: Logging in.
Kira: Got it!
Conner: Me too!
Y/N: This is gonna be so metal!
Rangers: Combine powers!
Rangers: It worked!
Zeltrax: Your robot is no match for me! Fire!
Zeltrax fires more red beams at the Megazord. This causes it to suble back a bit.
Y/N: That's just pissing me off!
Zeltrax shoots out two tendrils to wrap around the Mega sword arms. He then sends electricity through them and damages the Megazord and Rangers even more. The Rangers shake it off and get ready to counterattack.
Conner: Time to head for the back of the neck!
The Rangers use the Parasaurzord to cut themselves free from one of the tendrils. They use the other one as a rope to swing the Megazord high above Zeltrax's ship. They see the weak spot of it.
Conner: There's the heart of the ship!
Y/N: So let's cut it out!
Ethan/Kira: Right!
Y/N: Dino Spear! Pierce through!
The tip of the Parasaurzord glows bright silver. The Megazord aims at the heart and goes right through the whole ship, Destroying it. The Rangers cheer for their victory again, unfortunately, Zeltrax was able to escape and retreat to fight another day.
Cut to Mesogog's lair
Mesogog: So... Oliver has taught them to become Rangers.
Zeltrax: Our deepest apologies, sir. We should have foreseen this development.
Mesogog: Yes, you should have.
Mesogog shoots a psychic attack at Zeltraz and Elsa, punishing them for their defeat. Zeltrax and Elsa fell down to their knees in pain.
Zeltrax: Ahh!
Elsa: Ahhh!
Mesogog: Let this be a lesson. I do not take defeat lightly.
Mesogog stops his psychic attacks and lets them recover.
Mesogog: Now leave me to my work.
Zeltrax: But master-
Mesogog: I said leave!
Zeltrax and Elsa both leave the room. Mesogog goes over to his lab and starts to press a bunch of buttons, feeding red, blue, yellow, pink, and black energy into something.
Mesogog: It's almost complete. I just need a little bit more grid energy.
Cut to Dr. Oliver's command center
Dr. Oliver opens up a case, revealing the morphers have taken a new shape. He goes to each Ranger and gives them their morphers.
Dr. Oliver: Keep these bracelets with you at all times. They'll access your morphers when you need them. And you can use these to communicate with me and with each other.
Kira: Dr. O, I know you're real smart and a science teacher. But this is... Well, how did you...
Dr. Oliver: I'll fill you in in time.
Ethan: Speaking of time, you think Mesogog's going to stick around?
Dr. Oliver: Unfortunately, they always do.
Conner: They?
Dr. Oliver: I know this is a lot to take in.
Y/N: You're not wrong there.
Dr. Oliver: Your lives have changed in ways you probably couldn't have imagined. But as long as you work together and remember you're a team... no one can defeat you. No one.
