"Can ya believe the year is already over?" I asked, swinging both mine and Kiyoomi's arms. By the amount of times I've repeated the sentence, he probably can.

Kiyoomi smiled in return, squeezing my cozily gloved hand. He pulled me a little closer to his side. The snow crunched beneath our feet, and my cheeks were cold.

We were walking down the many streets in Tokyo. The sun was just now starting to set and we were looking for a place to eat. However everything was filled, considering New Years in Tokyo is a pretty big thing. We settled for some outdoor seating, despite it being cold.

I wanted to look at all the lanterns and decorations anyway; they also sat us by a tiki torch where we could warm up. Kiyoomi slid over to sit beside me, his hand found its way to my waist. I laid against him, humming to the feeling of his hand running up and down my sweater.

"What did y'er family do fr' New Years Omi? Ya lived in Tokyo after all."

He hummed, smiling, "Well, I plan on showing you after we eat."

I grinned ear to ear, "Ya know what y'er gettin' Omi-Omi?"

"Eh.." He just now looked at the menu.

"Mm I want a toasty drink." I told him, he flipped the menu to look by the drinks, gazing through the options.

"I'm gonna get Matcha." He said, looking over at me.

"Oo! I want Oshiruko!" I exclaimed.

"That's not a drink." He clarified, making me glare.

"Smart ass."

He attempted to flick at my forehead just before the waitress came. She wrote everything we wanted down on a notepad, then wandered back inside. The area was cute. There were banners strung around to make an enclosed outdoor area. There were also benches and seats, with other torches spread around the area.

The drinks were the first to come out. I settled for hot chocolate, since that's the only thing I could think of on the spot. It was good hot chocolate, and drinking it kept me warm. I can admit Oshiruko did sound really good however.

We didn't spend too much of our time eating, and were off to Kiyoomi's family surprise thing now. I skipped along happily, the lights were beautiful.

The streets started to get more and more crowded with people the closer we got. I was thrilled to eventually stumble across an ice rink.

"Oh my god! Little Omi could ice skate?"

"He could, this one can't." He laughed, "I haven't skated in forever."

"We're athletes! We got this." I paused, "I bet Motoya is killer on the ice."

Kiyoomi scoffed, "You think he's fast on the court.."

I grinned, following him as he registered the tickets. Apparently he already bought them, because you typically have to reserve a space. We went over to put on two pairs of ice skates and soon enough we were on the ice.

"Oh god." I started to slip, fearing I'd end up doing the splits. Kiyoomi laughed, hoisting me up and over to the rail. He kept his hand on my back, and was effortlessly standing on the ice. I wobbled a little when I attempted to stand straight. He took my hand and pulled me forward. I was so caught off guard I nearly ate shit, but managed to straighten myself out with Kiyoomi's help.

He kept laughing at me, earning a glare, "I thought ya said ya couldn't skate??"

"I can't," He explained, "This is like the bare minimum."

I rolled my eyes, holding onto his hand for dear life. I was worried I'd injure his spiking hand. I used the situation to fling myself forward, eventually crashing into the rail. I looked back giddily.

"Now come back." He grinned.

I looked at the space between us, swallowing, though attempted to do so anyway. It didn't take too long before I got the hang of things. Although by no means was I good.

Kiyoomi moved around effortlessly, and looked good while doing it.

"Omi do a twirl for me." I teased, standing across from him.

"No."

"Kiyoomi." I scolded, hands moving to my hips.

He groaned a little, moving his foot out and drawing it in as he spun. It was majestic.

I clapped a little, "Wow Omi-Omi, so graceful."

His pale cheeks colored above his mask, he skated forward and held my waist. We glided back over to the wall and he slipped his mask down to kiss my cold lips.

I smiled, taking his hands, "I love ya so much Kiyoomi."

"I love you too." He smiled, kissing my freezing cheek and slipping his mask back on. "Forever."

I bit my lip, giddy, and pulled him to keep skating.

We took a few laps around the rink with the rest of the people. It was getting pretty dark out now, so he took that as a cue to lead me off the rink.

"I have another surprise." He told me, making me squeal giddily.

"I told ya I'd love bein' with ya!" I squeaked, bouncing on my toes, "What is it?"

He pulled down his mask just long enough to kiss my forehead. His hand slipped into mine and he pulled me out and away from the crowd.

We walked through the crowds of people that seemed to whittle away the farther we went.

Eventually he was hoisting me up into a horse drawn carriage typically meant for tourists. I squealed again.

"So magical~" I purred, tugging on Kiyoomi's arm and huddling up beside him.

The carriage took us out towards the outskirts of the city, and away from people. We went through the familiar, and the unfamiliar. My attention really started to pick up again when the lights came back.

It wasn't a city full, but rather a line of arches that went who knows how far.

"Ouhh! Can we walk through there?"

Considering we were nearly at the end of the ride, I'm sure it's possible.

He smiled a smile that made my heart flutter. The carriage stopped and Kiyoomi helped me down. We went down the path of banners, lights, and lanterns. These ones weren't like the ones hung up in the city, they were different.

I wanted to walk through here because well, it looked beautiful. I also wanted to walk through because I knew it'd be just us.

Towards the end of the trail laid a cat in the pebbles. I might not have noticed him if I wasn't paying attention.

"Omi! 'S a kitty!" I squeaked, getting to my knees and letting the cat sniff my finger. It was a pretty random place for a cat. The cat startled to his feet, though sniffed my finger nonetheless. He seemed timid.

Kiyoomi was laughing a little, but instead of leaning down he walked back and behind the cat. I was happy when the cat pressed his head and back into me. I giggled stupidly.

Kiyoomi leant down to pet his head, then walked through a barely visible clearing in the trees.

"Kiyoomi what 'r ya doin'?!" I squeaked.

"Follow me." He said, I could hear him walking farther away.

"Omi! That's scary!"

He was laughing from somewhere. It was dark and the lights of the lanterns seemed to feel so much dimmer now that he was out of sight.

"Omi!" I squeaked.

"Follow me." He said again, his voice was so genuine.

I huffed, turning to the side to squeeze through the trees. I expected utter and complete darkness but was not met with it.

I could see a train going down as far as meets the eye. I might have missed it if it weren't for the lights strung up around it. There were lanterns, candles, lights and so many pretty things.

A blanket laid out on the gravel in front of it. The candles around illuminated the blanket and I saw the oh so familiar starry patterns. There was snow around but the blanket and train lacked it. The sky was clear and the stars were as bright as ever. Every tree held snow and the landscape was painted in white. It was jaw dropping.

It was so pretty, and yet I stood frozen looking at one thing.

Kiyoomi was placed by the center of the blanket. He was on one knee, and had an opened box in  his hand.

My hands shot to my mouth and I practically screamed.

"Wait what oh my god-" I started to cry, looking around and slowly making my way over to him.

He smiled at me warmly, and nervously.

"I did not see this coming." I muttered, meeting his eyes with tears.

"Miya Atsumu," He let out a nervous breath before continuing, "We've known each other for nearly fifteen years. For fifteen years I thought of you, and I thought of this moment. You came into my life at such a crucial time and despite the distance you never left it. I can't imagine going into this new year without you nor do I ever want to. When I first met you, I could already see myself spending the rest of my life with you.

Our relationship has always been unsteady, and unpredictable. It felt as if you would always find your way back to me until one day you didn't. I still searched for you, Atsumu.

Every call from a stranger I thought that maybe, it could be you. Every time I left the house for five minutes I thought that just maybe you'd come down to Tokyo. I thought maybe we'd end up in the same college team. I looked through the teams, and yet I never saw your name. I thought maybe after all the time you'd find me again, and you didn't. You didn't find me because I needed to find you.

You brought me out of my darkness and I threw you in it. It was you I needed to come and rescue, not the other way around.

We met a total of seven seperate times in 14 years. 7 times.

That first time carried me through my childhood. You helped raise apart of me without even knowing it. You helped raise me to accept myself. You helped me realize there is better in this world.

We've met again and again and every time you lingered with me for so much more time than we spent together. We spent years apart, and yet you were always there. Not in the back of my mind but right there at the front.

I love you, Atsumu. You are so particularly perfect in every possible way. I've lost you before and I never want to lose you again.

So I ask you, will you marry me Atsu?"

I sobbed into my hands, violently nodding my head. I fell to my knees and against his chest. His arms wrapped around me and pulled me close.

"Really?" I sobbed, looking up at him with teary eyes.

He smiled, kissing the tip of my nose and nodding.

I squealed, burying into his chest. After a moment he leant me back, and brought forward the ring. I put out my hand and was happy to officially see it.

He slid the ring on my finger and I let out another squeal.  When I raised my hand to look at it I could tell it was custom. It was a dark silver ring with engravings all around it. The engravings were of stars that were identically matching to the blanket. There was a gem on it as well, a deep red color.

I squealed once again, "Omi 's perfect, look at it!"

He hummed happily, sliding it off of my finger. I nearly snatched it back before he raised it to my eye. Inside of the ring there was an engraving. It was a bunch of random numbers.

I took the ring and attempted to read it, "'S it.."

"It's here, the coordinates for the train tracks."

I cried again, putting the ring back on. Well I don't know if I ever stopped crying.

"Kiyoomi y'er so cute." I cried, "I love ya so so much."

He turned me to rest my back against his chest and held me close, "I love you too, my fiancé."

I squealed giddily, "Oh my god Omi can ya believe we're engaged."

He hummed happily, kissing at my cheeks and jaw. They were both cold to the touch. He stood me up after a moment, and we walked back down the path, hand in hand.

"How were the candles lit?" I asked suspiciously.

"I had some help." He smiled, looking over to the carriage, and it's driver that was still apparently here. "And most are fake."

We went back on board and since the wind was so cold against my skin I huddled up into Kiyoomi. We were taken back to the air bnb we had been staying in.

I practically sprinted up to the room to flick on the lights and admire my ring.

"Omi look at it!" I chirped, shoving my hand in his face, "It's perfect. Better than perfect."

He hummed in amusement, standing in front of me and taking my waist. I smiled up at him, wrapping my arms around his neck and squealing again.

"Mm so what do we do till midnight~?" I asked, bouncing on my toes. He hummed, kissing me.

"Your choice."

I grinned, biting my lip, "Engagement sex."

"We're gonna get a noise complaint if you're so loud." He remarked, biting harshly at my throat. I gasped from both the pain and pleasure, then broke out into a desperate whine.

"Kiyoomi.." I whined.

His fingers slid between my teeth and I bit down on them.

"Shhh.." He whispered it right by my ear and I could feel all the muscles in my body go lax.

"I love listening to you.." He told me, "I doubt the neighbors do."

I hummed, taking in the praise and ignoring the other bit. He stopped moving so he could lean down to catch my lips. The kiss was slow, and soft. His tongue pressed into my mouth, pushing against my own.

His hand slid up my forearm and eventually pinned both of my wrists over my head. His grip was firm, and thrilling.

I pinched my eyes together when he fully pushed into me, and lulled back into the sheets.

"Please.." I whispered it, though it caught his attention anyway.

"What do you want baby?" He asked, picking up the pace.

I made a frustrated noise, I wasn't sure what I wanted.

Eventually I managed a needy, "You."

His lip curled in amusement, "You already have me."

He pulled out, leaning down and beside my ear. He kissed just above my jawline, "Till death do us part."

I squealed, "Omi! Can ya believe we're engaged?!"

He grinned, pushing back into me, "I believe it."

I bit my lip, happy to let him touch me as he pleased. In time he flipped me onto my stomach, thrusting into me from the new angle.

"Omi..." I whined it out, saliva wetting the sheets.

He used his arm to lift me to his chest and started moving at a relentless pace. I made a loud and sudden noise that made me blush, he ran his hand up my side.

"We'll have to get you a gag sometime." He said it so casually I nearly screamed.

"Omi!" I shrieked.

He chuckled, pausing to kiss me. We dragged it on quite a bit before finishing up.

"Kiyoomi, Kiyoomi-" I warned, "Kiyoomi.."

He caught my release with a condom, and I could feel him pulling out of me.

"Mm, Omi.." I said it in a daze. He looked down at me with a smile.

"Hmm?"

I attempted to tug him closer so he did it for me. His chest pressed against mine just as our lips did. I wanted to let him wash over me so I prodded my tongue against his, hinting at him. He hummed, smiling against my lips, though didn't give me what I wanted.

I attempted to push my tongue up into his mouth but found no satisfaction in it.

"Omi~" I whined, "Kiss me."

"I am." He told me. I stared at him, deadpan.

After a second he gave, and pressed harshly against me. His tongue slipped between my lips and against my own. I moaned into his mouth; surprised and delighted.

"Let's shower hmm?" He said it in a way that let me know we weren't done yet. I bit my lip, giddy as he took me over to the shower. As soon as we stepped under the water he was pushing me against the wall. The water was hot and so was his breath. I could feel his hard against my own. His tongue pushed its way into my mouth  and pinned my tongue down. I let him explore my mouth as long as he wanted before he moved to kiss my neck. I wiped his saliva off my chin while he did so.

His hands gripped my sides, holding me firmly.

I wanted to feel him again, so I slid my hand over him. I moved my hand teasingly a few times, then pushed him against the wall. I turned my back to him and lent against his shoulder, hinting at it. He groaned a little.

"You know I hate doing it raw." He bit into my neck, the tip of him teasing at my entrance.

"I want ya inside me.." I told him, trying to push down on him. "'N we're in the shower~"

He groaned, then pushed fairly harshly up into me. I let out a cross between a whimper and a moan, hand flying back and grasping at his sides. I dug my nails into his skin. His movements were uneven and forced.

"Dry." He complained, tilting my head to kiss me a little.

"Then use yourself."

He looked at me a little dumbfounded, then came back to it.

"Gross." His nose scrunched, "And you'll get a stomach ache."

He sat it in a way that made me giddy. I leant back to kiss him with a smile.

"Then ya'll just have to cuddle me through it.

He laughed into my ear, using his pre-cum as lubricant. I could feel my eyes roll into the back of my head when I let myself sink down onto him.

"Kiyoomi.." I muttered.

"I love you." He told me, kissing my cheek.

"I love ya too Omi-Omi."

.⋆。⋆☂˚。⋆。˚☽˚。⋆..⋆。⋆☂˚。⋆。˚☽˚。⋆..⋆。⋆☂˚。⋆。˚☽˚。⋆..⋆。⋆☂˚。⋆。˚☽˚。

"Omi 'm shakin' I can't wait to tell 'Samu. Did he know it'd be tonight? I know ya said ya asked fr' his blessin', which is totally cute by the way." I was rambling quickly. Kiyoomi just watched me with a smile. Holding my ringed hand as we walked over to the festival grounds.

"He didn't know it'd be tonight, I was worried you guys shared some sort of twin telepathy."

I snorted, "Mm just so excited Omi."

He slowed to a stop and pulled me into a hug, resting his chin on my head. He tilted my chin up and pushed his lips against my own. I smiled, squealing giddily.

"I'm so happy to have you in my life." He said, making me squeal again, this time with watery eyes. I cut the sweet moment short when I saw everyone by the end of the road. They all stood against a rail, there was water about five meters down.

I practically sprinted over to 'Samu, stumbling over my own feet in the process.

"'Samu-!" I panted, tackling him in a hug. He startled, shimmying me off before pulling me into a hug.

"Sunarin! Ya made it!" I cheered, going to hug him too. I bit my lip, "Guys.."

Sunarin eyed me suspiciously, 'Samu eyed me cautiously. I flung my hand up with a cheeky grin, showing off the ring. Sunarin's hands shot to his mouth. 'Samu pulled me into a rough hug. I was sobbing into his shoulder.

"'M engaged 'Samu." My voice was shaky when I said it and when he pulled away from the hug I could see tears in his eyes.

"'M so happy fr' ya Atsumu." He smiled, hugging me again. Hearing him say my name made the reality of everything kick in ten times harder.

After a moment he turned to Kiyoomi, walking forward, "I trust ya with 'em."

Kiyoomi smiled, walking closer to me and placing his hand in the small of my back.

"You don't have to worry about him." Kiyoomi assured, I went to hug Sunarin again, still crying.

"I can't believe you're engaged!" Sunarin said it in an excited tone, snatching my hand. Both him and 'Samu inspected to ring, in awe.

"That's like the prettiest ring I've ever seen." Sunarin said.

"I know right?!" I cheered, "'N look-!"

I took the ring off, holding it up to them to show the inside of the ring. It was pitch black outside so I doubt they saw much.

"He engraved the coordinates to the train tracks." I cheered. 'Samu knew what I was talking about but Sunarin was a little lost.

"Train tracks? Like where you guys kissed in high school?"

"Yes! That's where he proposed too!"

"Tell me everything." Sunarin said, earning a whole hearted nod from 'Samu. I gave them an in detail description of the proposal and could see Kiyoomi blushing beneath his mask. There were enough street lamps to give us visibility.

At some point Motoya found us and caught us all in a hug. Kiyoomi squirmed away from the group hug, making me smirk a little.

"Motoya!" I cheered, "Look!"

I shoved my hand in his face, wasting no time to show him.

"Yes! He did it!." Motoya cheered, he was ecstatic, "He's been planning this for what like... 14 years?"

Motoya pulled me into a more genuine hug than before, then Kiyoomi.

"'M so happy!" I squeaked. Kiyoomi stepped behind me, arm slipping around my waist as he pulled me onto him. He lowered his mask to kiss my nose.

"Maybe I should've waited until it was 15 years, I don't like the number 14." Kiyoomi said, making me shove him away.

"Omi!" I squawked, hitting his chest. He grinned.

"'N ya've only been together what like 5-6 months?" 'Samu asked, I shrugged.

"Honestly surprised Kiyoomi didn't propose sooner." Motoya said, earning a kick in the shin from Kiyoomi.

I shot my eyes in his direction, "Go on."

"Kiyoomi started saving for the ring when you two kissed again."

I squealed, then melted into a lazy grin.

"Who's to say ya'd court me so easily?" I teased.

Kiyoomi was obviously blushing now, he cleared his throat.

"It's nearly midnight." He said, changing the topic.

"Oh, 'm so excited!" I cheered, earning a nod from the majority of us.

Kiyoomi's hand slid into mine, he tugged at me and we all started to walk along the rail. We crossed a bridge at some point and I stopped.

"Why don't we just watch the fireworks here?" I asked, looking around.

We were headed to the festival grounds to see the fireworks. It wasn't far and you could hear the commotion from here. On the bridge however nobody was around.

It was a long old stone bridge, crossing the river and onto the other side.

"I'm okay with that." 'Samu said, earning a nod from a few of the others.

So we all stayed at the bridge, sat up on the rocky borders. I swung my legs over the edge, Kiyoomi eyed me cautiously.

"Don't fall." He said.

"'M not stupid Omi-Omi." I teased, leaning up against his shoulder.

He didn't seem convinced, and stayed cautious. His arm slid around my waist, and I felt his lips press against my cold cheek.

"Ready for the new year baby?" He asked, making my heart flutter. I looked over with a smile and saw the first fireworks go off in his eyes. I would have startled at the loud sound but was just too entranced.

He smiled, leaning over and laying his lips on my own.

"'M ready to spend the rest of my life with ya." I told him, and I meant it.
