Your POV:
I sat in the stands, watching Shinso's and Midoriya's battle with baited breath.
It seemed like Shinso had it in the bag- Midoriya was brainwashed and already walking towards the boundary.
My tail twitched in excitement. There was no way Shinso could lose- with such an amazing and powerful quirk, it seemed impossible that Midoriya could defeat him.
But then why did I have a bad feeling about it?
I gasped along with everyone else in the stands as, somehow, Midoriya snapped out of it. He was right in front of the white line that, if he had crossed it, Shinso would have won. But he didn't. He stopped walking and not a moment too soon.
While most people cheered as Midoriya won the battle, some, me among them, were sad that Shinso had lost. I admired him for his resolve, that he didn't give up on his dream of being a hero, even when people told him that his quirk was 'villainous'.
Even though we were in different classes, I saw him sometimes in the halls. I always wanted to talk to him, but I was too shy. In fact, I don't even know if he knows I exist.
But that didn't matter- he tried his best and for that, I will always cheer him on.

"Class, please welcome our new student. He's transferring from the general studies course. Most of you probably know him- Hitoshi Shinso."
My eyes widened as Mr Aizawa introduced class 1-a's newest addition. I had seen him training with Mr Aizawa once but thought nothing of it. I never imagined that he would be put into our class.
Shinso gave one lazy wave to the class, scanning each of our faces as he did so. It could have been my imagination, but I thought I saw his eyes rest on me for a second longer than everyone else's. Well, my ears to be exact.
Shinso took his seat at the back of the class and Aizawa started the lesson.

As time passed, my hallway crush on Shinso grew into something more.
Countless times I wanted to approach him but my shy nature prevented me from speaking to him. I got nervous every time I said so much as 'good morning'.
I did catch him looking at my ears and tail a few times though. It was a little weird, but I thought nothing of it.
During lunch break one day, I saw him sitting alone. He always sat by himself, but I was feeling extra brave today, so I decided to ask if I could sit with him:
"H-hey, Shinso. C-can I sit here?" I asked him anxiously.
"Sure." he answered, barely glancing up from his tray of food.
I sat down across from him and started eating in silence. I glanced up at him a few times, desperately wanting to make conversation, but my shyness prevented me from saying anything.
"What's your quirk?" Shinso said suddenly "I can see that it's something feline related, but what all can you do?"
Glad that he had broken the awkward silence, I replied:
"Basically, I can do anything a cat can do. I've got retractable claws and I'm pretty stealthy." I explained, surprised by how steady my voice was.
Shinso nodded thoughtfully but didn't say anything else.
Soon the bell rang and I walked back to class, happy that I had finally held a conversation with Shinso.

"Y/N. Earth to Y/N."
I snapped back to reality as Mina waved her hand right in front of my face.
"Yeah?" I asked, cheeks turning pink in embarrassment.
"Who you staring at?" she asked curiously, trying to follow my line of sight.
"No one." I answered quickly. Probably too quickly.
"Todoroki? Bakugo? Midoriya?" she interrogated "Or are side characters your type?"
"I just zoned out." I lied, determined not to look at a certain purple-haired someone. "Anyway, what can I help you with?"
"Oh, nothing I was just curious who you were staring at!" she smiled.
I rolled my eyes.
"Nosy." I muttered.
"Am not!" she laughed.
I smiled, secretly glad that I had been adopted by this 'nosy' extrovert.
Finally, Mina stopped pestering me about it and I went right back to thinking about him.

What was I thinking!? I could barely hold a conversation with him but I was actually considering confessing my feelings for him??
A million different thoughts swarmed around my head as I clutched the letter in my hand.
Where should I put it? Should I even give it to him? What if he doesn't feel the same?
This is stupid, of course he doesn't like me like that... I thought, feeling my heart sink.
"Y/N? What are you holding?"
I made an 'eep!' kind of sound as, out of all my classmates to catch me holding a love letter, Shinso came up to me.
"Is that a letter?" he asked. For some reason, his eyes darted to my ears and tail. I had noticed him doing that on multiple occasions, but never had the courage to ask him why.
Without thinking, I shoved the letter into his chest. It was as if my arm acted on its own. Stupid arm.
"Oh-um.. Ok. Thanks?"
I could only watch, frozen in shock at what I had done and red-faced as Shinso uncertainly opened the letter.
He glanced at me one more time before looking back down at the letter in his hands.
His eyes widened and his had cheeks turned pink by the time he got to the bottom.
"Do you... really feel this way about me?" he asked. I tried to read his expression for any idea about what he was thinking, but I couldn't.
I gave a small nod, still unable to verbally answer.
Shinso stepped closer.
My mind went completely blank as he closed the distance between us.
"Glad you feel the same." he whispered, before leaning down and gently kissing MY LIPS.
MY CRUSH WAS KISSING ME.
A moment later, and way too soon in my opinion, he pulled away.
"Wow." I said quietly, not knowing what else to say.
Shinso chuckled but his face was just as red as mine.
"Can I, um..." he started, clearing his throat as if embarrassed by his next question.
"Yes?" I felt like I would give him anything just then.
"...touch your ears?"
It was my turn to chuckle at his request. I tilted my head forward, wordlessly giving him permission.
With a look of wonder in his lavender eyes, he carefully stroked the cat-like ears at the top of my head.
An involuntary purr escaped my lips as he gently scratched them.
"You even purr like a cat!" he exclaimed, a rare laugh bubbling up in his throat.
"Yeah, I'm your cat." I said, before imidiatly covering my mouth, horrified at what I had accidentally said.
But Shinso just chuckled again.
"Yes. My cat."
