Same day...
Location - Aoba Residence, Moca's Room
Moca's POV
A few days have gone by since my heart got broken by (Y/N)'s lie, and what has dear Moca been doing within that time? Simple, I've been avoiding people like the plague, even my precious childhood friends. I know Ran and the others are worried about me, but until I feel better, little ol' me needs her space for a while.
It wasn't just them I was ignoring... I wasn't going to school, I skipped my last work shift,
so my boss and Lisa are probably upset with me, and I haven't eaten anything recently, so my mother must be super worried.
While laying down in bed being depressed and all, I get a text message from my phone. I looked at it, and my mood became sour by who it was...
Your text: Can we talk for a moment? Please?
After being lied to like that, why would I waste my time on talking to someone who ghosted me for a whole day?
Moca's text: Can't. Moca-chan is too busy.
I was hoping it would shut him up, but he quickly responded to me. Where was this a few weeks ago whenever I try reaching out to him?
Your text: Please, just hear me out.
I let out a sigh before responding.
Moca's text: Fine. Come see me at front of my house.
Your text: Got it. Be there soon.
I guess it couldn't hurt to hear him out on what he wants to say.

A few minutes later...
I hung out by my front door for a bit, then I noticed (Y/N) coming towards me. My heart raced a little bit, but at the same time, it was still broken from when he lied to me. And to my surprise, he came with a bag of bread.
"Hi Moca." He said and gave me a melon bun. "Want one?"
I let out a chuckle.
"Well, Moca-chan can never say no to bread, so why not?"
I took the bun out of his hand and I started eating. It did feel good to have bread in my mouth again. (Y/N) sat down beside me.
"Hey, Moca, I wanted to say that... I'm sorry."
"For ghosting me?"
"Yeah..."
"Can I ask why you did it?"
"I guess I just needed to away from you for at least one day. I see you in person almost everyday, and having you blowing up my phone like did doesn't make things better."
"Oh, I see."
I had no idea that I was making him uncomfortable. I guess I am at fault as well. I was letting my feelings get the better of me.
"Sorry, (Y/N)-kun." I said. "Moca-chan got carried away with her feelings for you."
"Feelings?"
"Yeah. You probably heard it from Ran and the others, but I actually do like you, that's why I'm always around you."
"Yeah, and I thought it was a joke, but... do you actually mean it?"
"I do."
It's starting to look like that my feelings were coming loud and clear. After all, (Y/N) doesn't look uncomfortable this time. As much as I want him to love me back, I think it's better if I take things slow before we can make anything official.
"But... Moca-chan understands if you want to think about it, or just stay friends."
To my surprise, (Y/N) places his hand on top of mine, making me blush a little bit.
"Well, Moca, you are right." He said. "This is a surprise for me, and I think I feel the same way about you, but I was too stupid to not realize my feelings when you left me."
I gasped by what he said. He actually does feel the same way about me.
"Do you mean it, (Y/N)? Do you like little ol' Moca-chan?"
"I do, and if it's okay with you, we should take things slow before we make anything official."
"Hehe, that's all Moca-chan needs to hear."
"Does this mean that you've forgiven me?"
"Yes, (Y/N), Moca-chan has forgiven you."
I leaned my head on (Y/N)'s shoulder, and this time, he didn't push me away. It's nice to know that everything is back to normal.
