Hyuna's pov
After I left the hospital, I got a call from taeyeon saying that she'll be taking Nana to go shopping with her for her blind date. After that, I hung up and wait by the bench for v, because I did promise him from the first time we met that I wouldn't abandoned him.
After a few minutes of waiting for him, he didn't show up. Did he got lost? Did he go home already? He should at least call and let me know. Oh right he doesn't have a phone. I should really go buy one for him.
V's Pov
After hyuna left, I followed her but lost her so I decided to wait for her at taeyeon's house since Nana is there.
When I arrive at taeyeon's house, Nana wasn't there.
"Grandpa, where is Nana and taeyeon?" I ask the grandpa.
"They went shopping." He replied.
"Oh. How long have they been gone?" I ask.
"Hmm.. Not that long I would say." He replied.
"Hyung! Come here!" Taekwon, the little boy said peeking his head out his room.
"Okay. " I said.
"How is it here?" The grandpa ask before I could move.
"Um.. well, it's pretty nice." I reply.
"How nice is it on a scale of 1 to 10?" He ask.
"Um.. I would say 7." I reply.
"Well, that's not good." He said.
"Wae yo?" I ask.
"Hyung! Palli!" Taekwon said.
"Wait." I said.
"Because your not here to stay, your just here to help hyuna, and once she get her memories back, your going to have to leave." He explain.
"W-why can't I stay even when she get her memories back?" I ask.
"Because there is someone who is going to take your place, just like how you took his place. " he replied.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"My grandson, he's in a coma now, and your replacing him for the time being. But once hyuna's memories return, I have to sent you back." He reply.
"Wait. Does hyuna know about this? And why does she have to remember her past? If she doesn't remember anything doesn't that mean she doesn't want to remember anything and erased everything from her memories? But what I don't get is, what does it have to do with your grandson?" I ask.
"I can't tell you anything yet because I'm not sure of it yet." He said
"So, are you saying that youre using me just to get hyuna's memories back, and then once her memories are back, your grandson will wake up from his coma and then everyone will live happily ever after?" I ask and he nodded.
"Well, what about me? Don't I deserve a happy ending too?" I ask.
"Your just an anime character." He said," don't tell me you like the girl, that's why you don't want to go." He said but I didn't reply.
"Did you hear me?" He ask. Without replying, I quickly ran out the door and ran to hyuna's house. The door was lock so I sat outside on the door step and cried at what I just heard.
"Ya, v, are you crying?" Someone ask. I look up and saw hyuna standing at the door gate. I quickly wipe off my tears and stood up.
"Ya, why are you crying?" She ask closing the door gate behind her. Without saying anything, I walk toward her and pull her in for a hug.
Hyuna's pov
"Ya, v--"
" Just stay like this for a moment." He said and I did so. My heart was beating so fast that I thought it was going to fall out of my chest. This is the first time I have this kind of feeling.
After a "moment", he back away from the hug and smiled.
"Ya, are you okay?" I ask and he nodded then say," of course I am."
"Tch, I didn't know you were such a crybaby. " I joked and he fake cry and said, " hu hu, you're so mean." I smiled at that and said, "let's go inside." He nodded in response.
"Whats that?" He ask pointing to the bag I was holding.
"Something." I replied.
"Like?"
"Ill show you in a bit." I said.
"Oh, when did you do that?" He ask pointing to my knee at the area that got scratched.
"After getting your phone, I went to buy some band-aid . " I reply.
"Oh.." he said.
When we got inside, we both head to the living room and I set the bag on the table. As we sit down, I took out a box and hand it to v.
"Here, I got you a phone." I said.
"Wow. How do you use it?" He ask taking the box. I grab the box from him and open the box and took out the phone, it's a Samsung galaxy note 3. As I put in the battery and turn it on, v was fascinated by the sound it make.
"Wow." He said. As I set everything on the phone for him, he grab my phone from my purse and started touching it.
"Ya, that's mine, this one is yours." I said.
"I know. So, how do make a call?" He ask.
"Ill show you how in a bit." I said.
"Okay." He said.
V's pov
As I was waiting for hyuna to finish setting up my phone, I look through her phone and clicked on a icon that says contact on it. I scan through it and accident press on a person's name and it called. I tried turning it off but I didn't know which one so I press on the one that kind of look like a speaker with some curved line on it.
"Yeobosayo?" The person on the other line said , " yeobosayo?" He said again.
I look up at hyuna who was already looking at me.
"Ya, hyuna!" The person said.
"I'm so sorry, it was a--" I tried to explain but hyuna covered my mouth.
"Oh, oppa, it's me hyuna." She said.
"Was that a guy?" He ask.
"A guy, no. I'm watching a drama right now." She said.
"Really? I didn't know you watch dramas. But why did you call me? You never called me before... oh wait, is it about the car?" He ask.
"Huh? Oh.. yeah, I just wanted to know when you're returning it. " she ask, still covering my mouth.
"Tch, I told you that I'm borrowing it for this whole month. But I'll return it to you as soon as possible. I'm still getting my car fixed." He said.
"Oh, okay. Well that's all bye." She said
"Oh, hyuna--" he said but hyuna hung up already. She removed her hand from my mouth and wipe it on my shirt and went back to touching my phone.
"I'm.. sorry. I didnt--"
"Its okay, it's just an accident." She said and I just sit there looking at her. Wait, she's not mad? Wae?
"Come here." She said and I move a bit near her.
"Smile." She said as she raised up the phone. I look up and saw hyuna and myself in it.
"Wow." I said and she pressed the camera looking button.
"Okay," she said after a while, "here's a photo of us. Keep this as a memory of you getting your first phone. Don't delete it. But if you want to you can I don't really care."
"Why would I delete it . But what was that?" I ask.
"Its a camera. It takes picture. Like this one." She said showing me the picture again.
"Oh.. but can we take it again? I wasn't ready." I said.
"No." She replied.
"Then how about on your phone, since I already have a photo of us on my phone, you should too." I said.
"... okay." She said and grab her phone from the table.
"Ill take it." I said and she nodded.
"Its so blurry. " she said after we took it.
"Don't delete it, keep it as a memory of me." I said. Instead of replying, she lean closer to me making my heart beat really fast.
"Why were you crying?" She ask.
"I was crying?" I ask pretending I didn't know.
"Yeah, outside." She replied and back away from me.
"Oh.. because... because I thought you really did abandoned me." I lied.
"Tch, don't you remember the promise? I already make a promise saying that I won't abandon you." She said and it made me smile.
"You really did keep it. I thought a person like you wouldn't keep promises." I said and she give me a death stare and I look away.
"Mhm . Here you go." She handed me my phone.
"I saved my number in there so if you got lost or something you can call me." She said.
"Okay." I said and look at the contact. She put the name as Jung Hyuna.
"How do you change the name?" I ask.
"Why, you want to change it?" She ask and I nodded. She took out her phone and show me how to do it on her phone and I did the same thing on my.
"Okay, thank you." I said. I change her name to, Angel-Like Hyuna because of the story i heard from joonhyung's mom. I clicked on the green phone like button and test it. And that button was the calling.
"Why are you calling me?" Hyuna ask.
"I was just testing." I said.
"Okay, put your phone away and come help me cook." She said.
"Okay." I said and stood up.
Hyuna's pov
My phone started to ring as I just got to the kitchen.
"Ya, v. You can stop 'testing' now." I shouted
"I did stop " He said. I took out my phone and answer it.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hello, is this jung hyuna?" She said on the other line.
"Ne. " I said.
"About the child from last time, the one with the doll,"
"Uh huh. He should be heading to the orphanage tomorrow morning." I said.
"Yeah, about that, someone came just now and claim that she's the child's mom." She said.
"Bwo?" I ask.
