Rene looks so stressed and Celine just wants to help him get through it without worrying.She pats his hand gently. "You know they're just teasing you, right?" He laughs and takes her hand gently. "I know." The ride home is easy, leaving him isn't and Celine's mind keeps curling around Denyse.Rene squeezes her hand, drawing her attention. He clears his throat twice, but keeps his eyes on the road. "Does it ever bother you that I'm a twice divorced man with three grown kids?"Celine considers it for two seconds, then shakes her head. "Not at all. I love you just the way you are. I knew from the start how important it is for you to keep in contact with your children and how important family is to you. I would never ask you to give that up or judge you because you work so hard to be in their lives." A red light shines through the windshield, lighting the car.
