I paced back and forth, nervously biting my lip. "Everything is ready, right? Everyone is here?"

"Calm down, Angel!" my best friend, Bianca, said with a small laugh. "Everything Is perfect. Silena is officiating, just like you guys wanted, and everyone is here."

I took a deep breath and nodded, but I was still nervous. "What if I forget what I'm supposed to say?" I asked worriedly. "What if I mess everything up? What if he changes his mind? Oh Chaos, what if—"

"Loki!" she shouted, cutting me off. I stopped pacing momentarily to look at her with anxious eyes. She sighed and gripped my shoulders, staring me straight in the eye. "He loves you so much. Nothing you do will take away from that. You won't forget your vows. You spent months memorizing them. He's not going to change his mind. He was the one to ask you to marry him. Nico told me he spent months just trying to find the perfect ring before deciding to make one. That means that this isn't some rash decision that he'll regret later."

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair, causing her to shoot me a dirty look, seeing as she spent so long styling it. "I know, I know," I murmured. "I've just never been this nervous in my life."

She smiled understandingly. "You have every right to be nervous, Loki," she said gently. "This is your wedding day. However," her voice turned stern, "you do not get to mess up your hair. You have to be at the altar in twenty minutes, so sit down and let me redo it."

I sat down obediently, not wanting to incur her wrath. She began to style my hair again, and I took that time to make sure I looked okay. I knew I couldn't even compare to my fiancé, but I could at least look decent, I hoped.

I was wearing a white suit with a golden tie, waistcoat, and pocket square. My hair was shoulder-length, and Bianca was currently pulling it back into a small bun, probably so I wouldn't mess it up like I did when it was just loosely styled. My wings were folded behind me, and I had to admit, at that moment, Bianca's nickname for me seemed to be a reality.

"You look amazing, Angel," she said after putting a white comb into the bun. "If anyone is going to forget anything, it'll be Percy forgetting how to breathe when he sees you."

I smiled at her in the mirror. "Thank you, Bi. You look stunning as well."

She was dressed in an off-the-shoulder, golden dress that went just a bit past her knees and golden flats. Her long, dark hair was done up in an elegant bun and she wore a golden locket that held pictures of her and her siblings. She wore light makeup that brought out her natural beauty.

She smiled back and led me to the door. I would be walking down the aisle first before waiting for Percy. Thor was walking me down the aisle, so I stood with him while Bianca went in to her spot.

When the music began to play to signal that it was my time, I walked in with Thor, and smiled when I saw that Bianca was right; everyone had shown up. I walked to the altar to wait for Percy and my eyes swept over the crowd.

In the front were the people that had been sent personal invitations. The team was there, of course, as well as the Primordial Council. The school that Percy and I frequently visited was extended a personal invitation, and they had come as a field trip, so everyone was able to attend.

Behind them, were the rest of the citizens of Demos, and any that traveled to attend, which happened to be a lot. Apparently, not many people were willing to miss out on attending the wedding of the King.

Besides me stood my five picks for the wedding party. My Best Man and son, Nolan, stood directly beside me. Then it was Bianca, Zoë, Michael, and Will. They all wore gold and white, like me. On the other side were Percy's five: Nico as his Best Man, then Piper, Thalia, Sam, and Jamison. They all wore black and silver. Kola was the ring bearer, and wore a black and gold dress, sticking with her favorite colors, while also wearing the colors of the wedding. Silena wore white and silver, as the officiant.

My eyes snapped to the doors when they opened to reveal my soon-to-be husband. My breath hitched as I saw him.

He wore a black and silver suit, and his crown was nestled in his wavy white hair, which was left unstyled. He was walking with Tony, the only one of the mortals to have been invited. He was close with Percy, so I wasn't surprised to see him walking him down the aisle.

He walked until he was standing right in front of me, a large smile on his face as he stared at me.

Silena began the ceremony. "We are gathered here today to celebrate one of life's greatest moments, and to cherish the words which shall unite Perseus and Loki in marriage." She smiled out at the audience before continuing. "Marriage is a promise between two people who love each other, and who trust in that love, who honor each other as individuals, and who choose to spend the rest of their lives together.

"This ceremony will not create a relationship that does not already exist between you. It is not to bind you together. Your bond as soulmates already far exceeds the bonds of matrimony. This marriage a symbol of the promises you will make to each other to continue growing stronger as individuals and as partners. No matter what challenges you face, you will face them together, and no matter how much you succeed, you succeed together. The love between you joins you as one. You may now share your vows."

I turned to the beautiful man in front of me and took a deep breath before speaking. "Percy, I have loved you since the moment I first saw you and every moment after, I have only fallen more and more in love with you. You always know just what to say when I'm feeling down. You lift me up and make me a better person. You showed me that I can be loved.

"So, today, I give myself to you in marriage. I promise to always be here for you as you are for me. I promise that I will always love you, and will never give up on you. I give you my whole heart and body, Perseus Jackson, so that we will never be apart." I smiled at the look of pure love on his face, that I'm sure I reflected.

He smiled lovingly as he began. "Loki, two years ago, you captured my heart. You are the sweetest, most loving, compassionate, and sensitive person I have ever known. You never fail to make me laugh when I'm in a bad spot. You have been the reason that I smile and you have given me comfort when I cried. You have shown me how to love with passion, purity, and unconditional acceptance.

"When I first met you, I loved you, but I could not admit that to myself. I had been hurt before, and had shut myself off to any kind of romance. But you tore down those walls and snuck your way into my heart. You taught me how to love again.

"I'm not sure I can ever return all that you have given me, but I promise to spend the rest of my days by your side. To laugh and cry with you. To believe in and support you in all that you do. I promise to be with you no matter what. That I will forever love you with all my heart. Today I give you my love, my trust, and my fidelity forever."

Silena smiled and turned to the audience. "If any one objects to this marriage, let them speak now or forever hold their peace."

A beat of silence.

She turned back to us. "Perseus, do you take Loki as your lawfully wedded husband? Will you love, cherish, and honor him from this day forward, forsaking all others, keeping only unto him for eternity?"

Percy smiled at me, with pure love shining in his eyes. "I do," he said quietly, not looking away from me.

"Loki, do you take Perseus to be your lawfully wedded husband? Will you love, cherish, and honor him from this day forward, forsaking all others, keeping only unto him for eternity?"

"I do," I said, staring into my lover's eyes.

Kola came forward, carrying the rings, and we slipped them onto each other's fingers.

"I now pronounce you lawfully wedded husbands. You may now kiss the groom!" Silena said happily.

Immediately, Percy captured my lips on his. The kiss was short and sweet and I was sure that it was the best kiss of all time.
