The next few chapters will likely be longer in length as we get to the end of the year! After they graduate the third book- Peacekeepers- will start!

"Alright, we ready?" Ominis held his wand up, the supplies having been delivered for the greenhouse. It was only a short distance from their home, but he'd been sure to leave plenty of room toward the back of the house for the future.
"Yup, according to the plans. 25 by 15 meters." Sebastian said, raising his wand as well as he stood at the other side of the small strings set into the ground to map out where it was going to be. They'd already flattened the area to prepare it, and now they were ready to go.
"It's even bigger than the greenhouses at Hogwarts, ugh I'm so excited!" Diane said happily. "I'll try adding in a bit of ancient detail too." She grinned.
"Don't overdo yourself, sweet. Building with ancient magic takes a lot out of you still." Ominis warned with a soft smile.
"I won't. Just small details. I can always add more later." She chuckled.
"Alright, on three then. I'll do the frames, Ominis does the windows and Diane does the roof. 1.... 2... 3!"
Sebastian waved his wand, materials flying from the pile as he concentrated, bars lining up along the ground before bolts spun into place. With his rougher touch he was perfect for this part, twisting the bolts tight to keep them in place permanently before moving on to the next bar. Soon the framework was done, the last bolt spinning into place. "Alright Ominis-"
Ominis let his eyes glow brightly, the distance he could see temporarily increased as he brought up the large window panes, setting them into place. They were on either side of the frame bars, giving an air pocket that according to Diane would keep the temperature inside the greenhouse more regulated. The glass panes were held into place by heavy wooden frames, hinged so they could be cracked open to allow airflow.
Ominis' attention to detail and steady hand helped best with this part, twisting his wand slightly this way or that, flicking gently when it wasn't in just the right spot.
The last window was set in and he sighed in relief, letting the glow of his eyes fade. He rubbed his head a bit from the amount of concentration that had taken but smiled in satisfaction. "Alright Diane, time to finish it off."
"Right." Diane smiled happily, her sheer power helping to lift the massive piece of metal roofing into place to hold it steady while Ominis and Sebastian worked at setting the screws into place on its frame.
She gently let it down, holding her breath that it had all turned out well. There was a soft sound of metal shifting into place, and the greenhouse stood complete.
"Yes!" Diane cheered happily, and immediately ran inside the door.
Sebastian laughed at how eager she was as she summoned her potting tables she'd taken out of the room of requirement, setting them into place along the walls and then marveled as it only filled a small part of the greenhouse.
"Look how much room there is!" She said happily, turning toward them as they walked in as well. "Thank you so much, both of you." She turned back to them happily, giving them both a kiss.
"Now we have to bring your monstrosity over here." Sebastian sighed wearily.
"I'm not looking forward to moving it." Ominis muttered.
Diane chuckled and set a hand on either of their chests as she looked between them. "Don't worry so much, it'll be fine, then we won't have to move it again."
Sebastian sighed again. "You're lucky you're cute." He teased, ruffling her curls to make a mess of them.
Diane cried out in dismay as she tried to settle them back down and grumbled.
"Be nice, Sebastian. If I remember right, you wanted to make a dueling ring in the back as well." Ominis grinned wryly.
Sebastian sent him a guilty look. "It'll be fun."
Ominis grinned wryly, putting a hand on his hip. "I'm sure it has nothing to do with us having more time together and dueling is exciting for you." He teased.
Sebastian pouted dramatically. "Maybe."
Diane giggled in amusement as Ominis rolled his eyes. "It's okay Seb, I miss having more time together too." She said softly, glancing to Ominis. "Besides... I have a feeling Ominis won't complain too much."
Ominis blushed and chuckled softly. "No, I won't."
"Maybe we should get started now, then." Sebastian said in a suddenly rough tone, turning toward Ominis with a hungry look.
"We have to bring the hybrid here first!" Ominis protested, though that tone did wicked things to him.
"It can wait." Sebastian growled lustily.
Diane giggled and hopped up to sit on one of the potting tables, watching as Ominis started backing away from Sebastian only to have him stalk after him more.
"Sebastian, please! We should focus on the plants!" Ominis said, starting to dart around the greenhouse to avoid Sebastian as he chased after him.
"The plants will live until tomorrow." Sebastian growled with a wild grin.
"I have a charms exam tomorrow! AH!" Ominis cried out as Sebastian caught him, pinning him against one of the frame bars before he kissed him.
"Fiiiiine." Sebastian conceded with a rough groan of frustration, letting him go reluctantly. They both knew that once Sebastian got started it would be an all night affair.
"I don't have a charms exam tomorrow." Diane said with a wry smirk. "My last exam isn't until friday." She crossed her legs as she sat on the table, giving him a grin.
Sebastian looked over to her with a wicked smile. "Oh?"
"Hybrid first." She raised a finger with a little grin. "Then fun."
Ominis sighed in relief as Sebastian was distracted. Diane to the rescue. He really did need to study for that exam!
"Oh we'll have fun alright, flower." Sebastian grinned wildly. "Let's get that monster over here, then."
Diane chuckled an hopped down from the table before going over to Ominis. "You alright with that, sweetie?" She asked him softly, putting a hand to his chest gently.
"Yeah, you two have fun. I'll get you all to myself later on, too." Ominis smiled, brushing his fingers against her cheek tenderly.
"Don't forget about me." Sebastian smiled. "I don't think either of us have an exam Friday, now do we?"
Ominis blushed, a small smile coming to his face. "No, we don't."

The trip from the greenhouses to Feldcroft was rather interesting. If people around the region didn't know about Diane's specialty they certainly did now. It was hard to miss the 20 foot tall beast that Diane had grown. Each head of fanged flower nearly the size of a full grown dog. It chomped and bit at anything that went too close, even managing to nap a passing bird that flew too close to its top flower.
They'd had a trail of 1st and 2nd years following after them from Hogwarts to Keenbridge, staring at the plant and talking amongst themselves at the spectacle. After Keenbridge it was much more peaceful, which was good because that was Ominis' part of the trek and he had a hard time concentrating on his wand-vision as well as carrying the plant. It was just too heavy for one person to carry the entire way, though.
Once they got to the around up the hill to Feldcroft it was Sebastian's turn, Ominis setting down the giant pot with a sigh of relief. He'd been terrified he may tip it over or damage the plant somehow. Diane had worked at this for years, he didn't want to mess it up.
"Alright, to Feldcroft." Sebastian said, lifting the pot up and walking ahead with it.
"Thank you, sweetie." Diane said softly, kissing Ominis' cheek. "I know it's tiring."
"Yeah... it is. But that's alright. It's important to you. I should head back to get studying." Ominis sighed. "You got this on your own, Sebastian?" He called ahead to him.
"Yeah!" Sebastian called back, avoiding a chomp from one of the blooms before he glared at it.
"Good luck studying, Ominis. You can do it." Diane smiled sweetly. "You're so good at charms, I'm sure you'll do well."
"I sure hope so." Ominis sighed but did feel a bit better. "Don't let him go too wild on you." He chuckled, kissing her gently.
"I won't. Good night, love." Diane smiled.
"Good night. I'll see you both tomorrow." Ominis said softly. As Diane stepped back he apparated back to the entrance of Hogwarts with a thwump.
Diane walked with Sebastian the rest of the way to Feldcroft, sighing with relief as he set the plant down in the new greenhouse in its new home against the back corner.
"There." Sebastian said in satisfaction. "Now..." he turned toward her with a hungry smile. "Either we do this here and risk scandalizing all of Feldcroft, or you run inside the house right now."
Diane gave a wild giggle and turned around, giving him a sultry look before she darted out of the greenhouse.
Sebastian gave a deep laugh before he followed after her, watching her run up the hill and into the house as he chased after her.
When he went inside she was grinning from the other side of the table, and as he came toward her she moved around the table to avoid him. Cheeky little thing.
He stalked after her with dark hungry eyes as she rounded the table again, a wild smile on her face as she giggled excitedly.
"I'll catch you eventually, flower." He said in amusement as she still ran from him around the table, both of them waiting to see where the other would move. It was a standoff for a moment, before Diane made a move in the wrong direction.
Sebastian caught her in his arms with a shout of triumph, the momentum making them both fall to the floor.
"Caught you." He grinned down to her before kissing her fiercely, moaning as he kneeled above her to keep her trapped below him.
Diane giggled happily, splaying out below him with her curls spread around her, smiling up to him "I'm all yours, Seb."
He let out a shuddering breath, his eyes warming at the sight of her like this. "So beautiful... I do love you, Diane." He leaned down, his face inches from hers. "You two did tell me I should go slower, didn't you?" He said huskily
Diane felt her breath catch, not used to Sebastian going slow like that. She reached up to run her hand along his chest, leaning up to kiss him softly, telling him without words how much she liked that idea.
"Slow it is, flower." He said huskily, feeling his heart flutter, emotion filling him as he leaned down to kiss at her neck, one of his hands sliding down her side, slipping beneath her robes to gently slide them off. He glanced up to see her face flushed, her pale green eyes watching him as he undressed her. He smiled warmly at how much she liked this, working at her yellow vest first, spreading that open and sliding it down her arms before tossing it aside.
"I can't wait until you're just wearing those sundresses around the house." He growled softly as he slipped her tie off. "So much easier to take off."
She chuckled softly, reaching up to slide her hand through his hair. "Only one more week." She smiled softly.
One more week... Sebastian leaned his head against her shoulder, letting out a small breath. One more week, and he would be with them all the time. The next step of their lives would start. He would spend his time focusing on them, and their future instead of exams and school.
He unbuttoned her shirt gently, his mouth coming down to kiss bare skin as it was exposed from each button. Once the shirt was off he tossed it aside too, unbuttoning her corset and finally Diane was bare for him.
He hooked an arm under her waist to bend her back, kissing her breasts gently, sucking her nipple to hear her moan beneath him, her breath coming in a soft shudder.
"Sebastian-" she panted out, her hands going to his hair as he pleasured her.
He let out a long breath against her skin as she said his name so softly, his mouth leaving her as he sat up to take his own robe and shirt off, tossing them aside quickly before returning to her. He slipped a hand down her belly as he untied her skirts, pushing them down over her hips before slipping his hand between her legs to slide his fingers against her folds.
He savored the harsh gasp she made, her legs spreading beneath him in invitation as she panted while looking up to him with hooded eyes. So beautiful... and all his for tonight.
He slipped two fingers into her channel to watch her moan, her head turning to the side as she bit her lip, a low moan escaping her. So sweet.
He moved his hand away to tug her skirts off, pulling her undershorts off as well. And finally she was naked beneath him on the rug, looking up to him with warm eyes and a soft smile. To think he would marry this woman soon... goddamn was he a lucky man. To have both her and Ominis... sure he knew he was greedy, but he could hardly help himself with these two.
He watched her with a warm smile as he pleasured her gently. Slicking his fingers in her channel as she panted and moaned, her head leaning back as she lay her arms above her head on the floor. Such a sight...
He worked her up to just before the edge, her legs hiking up around him, her moans growing louder as she arched her back against the rug.
When he took his hand away before she could climax she moaned out in frustration, looking up to see him quickly taking his pants off beside her. He rolled back over on top of her once he was bare, leaning down to kiss her lovingly for a long moment.
When Sebastian went slow, he was just as intense as when he went fast, that same wild heat still present, but now simmering beneath the surface, ready to be unleashed when they finally joined together. She moaned as he kissed her again, her arms holding around his shoulders as he laid on top of her, a strong arm holding his torso up so he wouldn't crush her.
She gasped when she felt him push into her, her eyes fluttering closed at te feeling of him filling her. "Sebastian-" she moaned against his mouth, panting hotly as he sank deeper and deeper into her.
"I've got you, flower." He said huskily, his arm around her waist holding her tighter to him.
When he started moving it was with long, slow movements, his breathing harsh as he panted against her cheek, the both of them pressed either in desperate need as they rocked together. She lifted her legs higher so he could slide in as deep as possibly, gasping when his movements started speeding despite his desire to go slow. She gripped at him as she cried out, her fingers digging at his back as he moaned into her neck, going harder, faster, wild, passionate.
Sebastian lifted his head, looking down to her and seeing her eyes glazed with pleasure as she moaned beneath him, making him shudder as the sight only sent him higher. This was a true joining, now that he let himself feel everything, it was so much more intense than it had ever been before.
He leaned down to kiss her fiercely, unhooking his arm from her waist to reach down and slide his fingers along her clit as he pounded into her.
Diane cried out beneath him, her arms tightening around him as the added pleasure sent her over, shouting into the house as she writhed her hips up to meet his movements. His eyes rolled back at her climax clenching around him, and he took his hand away to plant it on the other side of her, giving a few last rough thrusts into her before he joined her, shouting out his own release as he buried himself deep, his head swimming from the intensity of the climax as he filled her.
She fell limp beneath him on the floor, panting for breath as he finally calmed and leaned over her on shaky arms. He was panting as well, planting small kisses against her shoulders as he fought to catch his breath from the intensity they'd had.
She smiled and let out a low sound of satisfaction beneath him as she writhed gently, making him chuckle huskily. Seems she'd enjoyed herself.
"I love you, Diane." He said huskily, his face inches above hers with hooded eyes.
"I love you too, Sebastian." She said breathlessly, reaching up to run a hand through his hair lovingly.
