Last night they set up a bed for me in that cage, it was uncomfortable so uncomfortable I could barely sleep. I heard screams echoing, wondering all night if that was going to be next. The entire room smelt like metal and blood, it was disturbing as I was trying to sleep. Someone probably died in here.

I've been walking around here for hours, acting clueless and like i'm just looking around when actually i've been looking if there's anywhere I can escape. Unfortunately, there's no where I have found. This place is like a long miserable tunnel, it's so cold and grey.

I finally sit down, giving my legs some rest and giving up. I hope Damien ended up getting that message. I kept waiting for Damien's arrival last night but he never came. I assumed he already knew where they were since he mentioned it before. Maybe he doesn't care i'm here and wants them to finish the job for him.

"Cassie." A stranger walks towards me, nodding his head.

"Hm?"

"Your father has asked for you." He pulls me up by the arm, "Follow me."

As i'm about to snap back and call him out for pulling me by the arm, I notice a gun in his pocket which makes me remain silent and follow him.

The man leads me down a dark hallway, the atmosphere cold and unwelcoming. Everything around us seems lifeless, from the dull grey walls to ten cold steel floor. I shiver as we walk further, the chill in the air penetrating my skin.

We stop in front of a heavy metal door, its surface worn and chipped with age. The men fishes a key out of his pocket, the clinking sound echoing in the tense silence. With a swift turn of the key, he pushes the door open and gestured for me to step inside.

I take a deep breath and step inside. The room simply lit, worn only a single light hanging from the ceiling casting a harsh glow. The air is thick with tension and the smell of sweat and gunpowder.

In the centre of the room stands my father, his expression serious and unreadable. He motions for me to take a seat in the chair in front of him.

I comply, my heart racing as I sit down. I look up at my father, waiting for him to say something.

He stands there for a moment, studying me. Finally he speaks up, his voice harsh. "You must be wondering why I called you here."

I nod, not trusting my voice to speak.

"You didn't tell me anything about Damien, we share blood after all." He slips the knife out of his pocket and reveals it to me, poking the top of his finger with the tip. "Shall I show you?" Before I can even think, he stabs the knife into my leg.

I let out a cry of pain, wincing as the blood pools around the wound. I try to get up and run but the pain is too much to be able to stand.

I didn't know he'd actually stab me, I thought he was just using it as a threat to scare me into telling him information, I'm so stupid. "Why?" I cry out, looking from my bloody thigh to the evil frown on his face.

"Tell me what I need to know." He repeats.

"I simply don't know anything!" I shout. "Please, please. Don't hurt me simply for not knowing a thing, i'm your daughter." I say, hoping he'll show some sympathy.

"I am your father and I don't like to see you getting hurt." He places his hand on my cheek, causing me to flinch.

My father looks behind me and nods, I turn my head to see around ten men walking towards me. So many thoughts are scattering all over my brain. I try to get up and run but I fall to the ground, the stab wound in my thigh is so deep and painful that I cry as soon as I fall.

The men come charging at me with rope and zip ties, tying my body to the chair. My salty tears drop down my face, I can't believe the situation i'm in. I look up to my father, "You deserve what ever happens to this mafia. You deserve to die with them all."

He walks up to me and punches me in the face, my eye instantly throbbing. "You will not speak to your father like that again."

"YOU'RE NO FATHER OF MINE." I scream at the top of my lungs as he walks away, my throat scratchy and in pained.

The man in front of me lowers himself, "You will tell us what we need to know or we will beat you bloody." He straightens his back, confident. "You choose."

I shake my head, uncontrollably crying. I don't want to show them my weakness but I can't help but to do so, i'm terrified. This feels like a nightmare coming true, never in my life did I imagine me here. What did I do to deserve this?

"You chose." The man puts a cloth in my mouth then wraps duck tape on it to make it more secure, making my breathing a lot harder. He grabs the knife from his pocket and slowly but deeply swipes it across my thigh next to the stab wound. He stops for a second, "Tell us."

That was the most intense pain i've ever felt in my life, I can't tell them anything and I don't want to. I'm left here with no decisions but to continue being tortured. The man punches me in the face, me and the chair falling to the ground in an instant. He begins kicking me in the stomach, the face, all over my body.

Before I know it all I can see is red, I can see blood droplets in my eyelashes, I can see it all over the floor, I can also taste it as I lick my lips.

The man gets on his knees, ripping off the duck tape which gives my cheeks a burning sensation, then taking out the cloth. "This is your last and final chance. Tell us everything you know about Damien."

My stomach drops knowing I can't say anything, i'm already expecting them to hurt me again. "Please." I beg, looking at them in fear. There's no way anyone can be this cruel and have such lack of empathy?

He stands up and starts pacing around angrily, I could hear his breathing get more intense. He walks up to me and boots me in the face, suddenly, everything becomes blurry. My eyes become harder to blink and see, my mind getting harder to think.

Everything goes black.

DAMIEN

We got here as fast as we could. I hope he hasn't done anything to her, I have a really bad feeling he's done something and I can't get it out of my mind. It's like I know deep down something awful has happened.

As soon as we get here everyone gets out of their cars and immediately charges in. I carry my gun by my side, looking in as many rooms as possible for her.

As bodies and screams are filling the hallway, I check each room, them being mostly empty. I check every closet, every corner, searching for any clue or something of hers showing she's nearby.

I walk deeper and deeper into the building, I see her ribbon on the floor so she must be nearby. Finally, I come across a large door at the end of the hallway. The door has a key in it, some dumbass decided to leave it in.

I open the door to see splatters of blood everywhere. I'm instantly worried at the sight. I look around and see Cassie laying on the floor tied to a chair. I run after her and start cutting the ropes and zip ties, her wrists are purple after I take them off.

"Cassie?" She's unconscious. I pick up her body, she's so limp and fragile. She has cut wounds everywhere as well as a stab wound on her thigh, her face and body has been severely beat. Who ever did this won't be getting away with it, they will wish they had died before they will meet their consequences, but right now we have to make sure Cassie's okay and get her help.

I hold her body gently as well as keeping my gun secure in my hand, prepared if anyone tries anything. I trust my men enough that it won't happen, from what i seeing right now with the amount of bodies on the floor, they'd be stupid too.

I carry her out of the building as fast as possible and carry her to the car. I always have a bigger car and a doctor waiting incase of emergency which we're definitely going to need.

The doctor gestures for me to follow him to the car, knowing the importance of Cassie getting medical help as fast as possible.

As soon as I get to the car I lift Cassie into the backseat, gently laying her down. The doctor immediately gets to work. We always have him come with us when we go places, Dr. Brown is one of the best doctors in the world, it makes me feel better knowing a good doctor is working on her, if we didn't bring him who knows what would've happened.

I hold Cassie's small hands in mine tightly. The doctor keeps his face neutral and focused, but I can tell from his eyes that the sight of Cassie's injuries are disturbing even to him.

I watch him work in silence, my hands clenching in anger. How could anyone do this to her? And to think it was her own father, the thought makes my stomach turn. I look at her and she's unrecognisable. Her skin covered in blood, bruises and wounds.

I gently run my fingers through her hair, admiring her beautiful features despite the bruises. Despite the situation, there's always something about her that makes me feel a certain way I can't explain.

As the doctor is stitching and cleaning her wounds, her watery eyes flicker open. I feel a mixture of relief and worry wash over me. "Cassie?" I say quietly, squeezing her hand tighter.

She scans her surrounding blearily. I can see the confusion and pain etched on her face, but a flicker of recognition in her eyes at the sound of my voice. "Damien.." She whispers, her voice horse as weak.

The doctor continues his work, stitching up her wounds and cleaning the blood off her skin. I can see the pain on her face. "You're safe now." I assure her.

She looks so disappointed, from what we talked about yesterday it definitely seems like she was holding onto hope that they were good people. I did warn her about her parents, maybe not in the best way possible but i'm not going to soften my words or make it sound better than it is because in reality they are horrible people and now unfortunately they've shown it to her.

I'm definitely not the best person, i'm quite horrible. I've done so many bad things with no regrets and would easily do it again, but if I had a child I would never do this, I wouldn't even think of it.

As a parent you're supposed to protect your children, love and be there for them, not abuse and torture words out of them. Because of this he's going to regret ever being borned, he shouldn't be so stupid to take Cassie from me then torture her. He's going to get the same treatment but only much worse, and I will be enjoying every second of it.

I hope you enjoyed reading this chapter!

I appreciate all the love and support on this story so much
