A part of himself wasn't ready for this, he wasn't ready to reopen all of the old wounds that he had worked so hard to close and leave behind. But at the same time, he was ready to let it all go, tell them both everything, and leave nothing unsaid.
He knew just how terrible that kind of pain was when there were too many things left unsaid.
He didn't want to go through it again, and he didn't want to force anyone to go through that. Especially not his own soulmates.
But sitting on his bed with his hair still damp, fresh from the shower while he toyed with his sweatshirt's sleeve, he couldn't help but overthink each thing. Clearly, they weren't turning him in, maybe not yet at least. But who was to say? They despised Tenshi...Hikari.
And they didn't look that mad, honestly, they looked incredibly hurt. Which was worse in Izuku's opinion. He'd rather them be furious with him rather than see that pain on their faces again.
But then again, maybe they just wanted to know what he had lied about, what was true, why he had been a part of the League of Villains, why he had hurt them and their friends in the past, then they'd leave.
They'd leave him and never talk to him again.
And honestly, Izuku wouldn't blame them, he'd let them leave.
It was only fair honestly, he had abandoned them when they were kids, and he hadn't made any attempt when he'd come back to reconnect with them. That had been all them.
So, if they left, he wouldn't be mad or wonder why, though that wasn't to say he'd recover from it.
But he'd just add it to the rest of the scars and force himself to leave it behind, just as he always did.
So, Izuku sucked in a deep breath, willing himself to get this all over with. No matter his anxieties.
Pinching his arm to bring himself out of his own head, he shuddered at the slight sting before slowly stepping away from his bed and opening the door. And a part of himself cursed himself for the hesitance.
He wasn't back there.
He wasn't at the place he had once called home only when his father was there.
He wasn't in the place where he had to walk on eggshells just in case in mother was home and in a terrible mood.
He wasn't in the house where his nightmares took place, where his mother had taught him what fear and betrayal were, where he had witnessed his world shatter before his very eyes, and his hopes and dreams die in his hands.
They weren't like her, he knew that.
But why did this remind him so much of that?
Why did the thought of this remind him of the day when he had told his mother of his soulmate mark?
Where she had so those terrible things.
"Oh Izuku, you naive little boy, do you think that those two will love you? If anything this is just a certified sign of your purpose. Nothing more than a-."
No. He wouldn't think of that.
She had been wrong.
She had to be wrong.
He really hoped she was wrong.
But then he remembered, they still didn't know they were soulmates.
That really could change everything.
And if they didn't already hate him, they'd surely hate him once he told them.
Maybe she had been right.
"Oi, what are you just standing there for Deku?" The question broke him out of his thought process and looking up from where he had been staring at his feet, he realized he was standing in the middle of the hallway.
"Oh... Nothing, just trying to remember something." Izuku mumbled, looking away from the blonde as he continued to the kitchen, though when he looked over the bartop counter, he smiled slightly at the sight of the fort the two men had built.
It was sloppy, by no means an architectural masterpiece, and he could tell they probably hadn't once paid attention when he tried to explain to them how he built the structure of it, but it had so much character that screamed the both of them that made him love it.
"Izuku..." Kirishima called, stepping around the fort carefully as he leaned against the counter from the other side, though the greenette could only nod as he headed to the living room, ducking under the tent they had built and seating himself in the single chair. Despite him noticing the nest that both Alphas had attempted to build, once again no masterpiece, though it was heartwarming in itself to see.
Though he didn't allow himself that comfort, it wasn't fair to them, they had every right to be angry with him, and he didn't want to cross any boundaries.
Bakugou and Kirishima were quick to join him, both taking a seat within the nest they had built, and if Izuku noticed the way they both seemed crestfallen at the sight of Izuku's blatant avoidance of it, he didn't mention it.
"What do you want to know?" Izuku questioned after a moment of silence and unrelenting staring.
"Why did you join them in the first place, if Izanami and All for One did all of that shit to you, why would you even consider trusting them?" Bakugou questioned gruffly, holding nothing back, even as Kirishima shoved against his shoulder gently to get the point across that the bluntness was uncalled for.
Though Izuku didn't pay it any mind. If anything, he was surprised that he wasn't being screamed at right now. "I never trusted them. I joined All for One because he took me in when I had no one, manipulated me when I was at my lowest and used my naivety against me. He brought Izanami into the mix to break me. And it worked. I followed him blindly because he promised a world where I would be safe." Izuku answered just as bluntly, forcing himself to shake off the unpleasant memories that reared their ugly heads at the confessions.
Though both Kirishima and Bakugou were caught off guard by the sheer honesty and bluntness, both had to take a moment to look at each other, holding another one of their silent conversations that made Izuku's stomach flip from his anxiety before they returned their attention to the doctor.
"Can you tell us what he promised you? What was that world you wanted Izuku, and why?" Kirishima questioned softly, clearly trying to soften the blow of such a heavy-set question.
"He promised me a world where no one would be in fear of the quirk they had or didn't have, he promised me a world where I wouldn't have been prosecuted for what I was born as. And I wanted it because I was tired of being hurt for things I couldn't control." Izuku stated bluntly, carefully watching both of the men's reactions. Though when both looked at him questioningly for the statement, he bit the inside of his cheek when he realized he'd have to give context as to why.
"You both already know about the bullying, about why they did it and how... but that wasn't the only thing." Izuku sighed, pulling his legs to his chest as he looked between the redhead and the blonde.
"What do you mean?" Bakugou questioned.
"I mean, my mother hated me for the same reasons, always told me I was useless. Hell, half the time if her words weren't enough, she'd-..." Izuku began, only to cut himself short when he realized what he was about to say.
"She'd what, Izuku?" Kirishima questioned quietly, though Izuku didn't like that tone. No, that deathly quiet tone signaled the calm before the storm. And Izuku didn't like that.
"She'd do whatever she could to get it through my head. Hit me, slap me, yank on my hair, scream at my dad, everything and anything. The psycho would constantly cheat on him. Bring those disgusting pigs into our house and have them stink up the place, then she and dad would fight, sometimes I got caught up in the crossfire, other times I went and hid in my room till the next day." Izuku explained, laughing bitterly at the unpleasant memories.
"That's... That's why you hated going home?" Kirishima questioned softly, and Izuku could hear the guilt in his tone, though he couldn't bear to look either in the eye. So, he merely pushed his face into his knees, nodding gently to the question.
"Did your dad-."
"Don't you dare question such a thing." Izuku snapped quickly, raising his head from his knees for only a moment before slowly resting once again as he looked forward and away from the two Alphas.
"My father never once raised a hand towards me, he never once raised his voice. He spoke firmly and gently, and he was always there for me. He loved me when no one else did. And he protected me when no one else would. So, don't ever question that man's integrity ever again." Izuku ordered harshly, not even hesitating from using such a harsh tone.
But if there was one thing he would never stand for, it would be for someone to dare speak any ill will of his father, especially around him.
Though both Alphas merely nodded, not daring to bring up the subject of Izuku's father again. "How did... How did you even come into contact with All for One in the first place?" Kirishima questioned after a moment, and Izuku almost laughed at the memory.
"Well... One day I was attacked by this sludge villain, All Might saved me, and I ended up latching onto him by accident. We stopped at some skyscraper, and I asked him if could be a hero..." Izuku chuckled, not so much bitterly as it was saddened, remorseful of the memories he had in that time of his life.
"You were-. What did he say to you?" Bakugou questioned, shaking his head as he pushed aside the fact that he and Izuku were attacked by the same villain that day all of those years ago.
"Of course, he said I couldn't, one because I was quirkless. Two, because I was also an Omega, it put me at a disadvantage. And then he left, but by that point, I was tired... So, I wanted to jump." Izuku breathed, not daring to look either Pro Hero in the eye, despite the guilt he could feel radiating off of the blonde.
"But, Kurogiri ended up stopping me. He took me back to the station and let me go on about my day, he told me he'd keep in touch, though I didn't think much of it... But once I got home... That's when the drop happened, and my dad found me and kicked my mom out of the house." Izuku explained, stopping for a moment to let them process.
"Of course, you guys were kind of there, so you know what all I did when I was alone. And then one day... when I went to the park and ran into you two..."
"And punched Kat in the face and kicked me like a bull in the knee," Kirishima added, slightly joking, making Bakugou scoff as he shook his head fondly, though Izuku only smirked at that.
"Yeah... But when I went home... I found my father dead in the kitchen. He'd been shot in the chest, and when that fucking murderer told me to come with him, that everything would be okay, he fucking laughed as if he hadn't just killed and man and was attempting to kidnap his child... I lost faith in heroes..." Izuku breathed, clutching his sweatpants tightly as he tried to keep himself composed.
"Izuku... why?" Bakugou asked hesitantly, and Izuku could only chuckle bitterly.
"Because Kenji Machida, Pro Hero Batuhan, killed my father because he was having an affair with my mother, and beat me to death," Izuku stated coldly, glaring at his feet as he remembered that sick man's laugh. When he had dared laugh after killing Izuku's entire world in cold blood.
"He... what?" Kirishima questioned quietly, and Izuku finally came back to reality, only then noticing the murderous expressions both Alphas bore.
And by the gods, Izuku actually got a little scared.
"I-... H-He killed me, technically speaking. I was only dead for a minute or so, at least that's what Kurogiri said. After the bastard beat me within an inch of my life, he locked me in my room and left me to die. Kurogiri found me, and I guess in a way kidnapped me, and then All for One and his doctor brought me back..." Izuku explained, looking away from the Pro Heroes again, shuddering when he heard the low rumble that would've been a growl if not for the self-control both men had.
"What the fuck did he do?" Bakugou questioned, his voice once again near a growl, though Izuku heard the strain that indicated that he was holding back, at least somewhat.
"Once I woke up... He told me that he would create a world where I would be safe and that I should join him, he showed me the Nomus', and I wanted to leave. But then... He forced my quirk on me. It hurt so bad that I passed out, and when I woke up again, I was in a small room. No one really talked to me within that time, and one night I ran away." Izuku continued, daring to look over at both men, both of whom only continued glaring at both him and nothing at all.
"Back then you said that he-. You ran away, and that you shouldn't have. What did you mean?" Kirishima questioned while Izuku hummed softly at the question.
"When I ran, All for One told me that no one would help me or protect me. I didn't listen and I continued running, when I ran into a police officer, he shouted at me and ran me off because he thought I was trying to prank him. Then I found a Pro Hero, Varuna I think was his name..." Izuku stated softly, truly unprepared to handle what he would have to explain next.
"Did he try to help you?" Bakugou asked, and Izuku almost wanted to laugh at the question.
"No... he grabbed me and dragged me off. I didn't understand what was going on until Batuhan showed up, and then I realized that Varuna knew what happened and was helping him. I tried to run, but they ended up catching me, and they tried to strangle me to death..." Izuku clenched his fist at the memories of that cold alleyway, remembering the way Varuna had told him to just give up.
And for a moment, he almost did.
Sometimes he still wished he would have.
"How... How did you get out of there?" Kirishima asked, breaking Izuku out of his thoughts as he remembered vividly at what he had done to escape.
"I used my quirk, I blacked out, and I didn't have any control over myself. I was angry and scared. So... I killed them both. Varuna was an accident. Though Batuhan, I did that on purpose." Izuku stated coldly, no amount of remorse could be found in his tone.
Because he wasn't.
He wasn't remorseful or regretful of what he had done.
He never would be.
Tensing, he expected to hear shouting, scolding, or anything of that sort. But instead, when he looked over at the two men, both held no shocked expressions, if anything, they were prideful.
Why the hell would they be prideful?
"I wish you didn't have to experience that. But I'm sure as shit glad they were handled properly." Kirishima stated, smirking slightly to himself as he thought of what Izuku said exactly, and once again Izuku questioned himself internally about the prideful expressions both Alphas bore.
"I'm surprised you don't hate me for that." Izuku chuckled sadly, catching both Heroes' attention as they refocused on him. Both quirked up a brow as if Izuku had just said something stupid.
"Why the fuck would we hate you for defending yourself? You were a 15-year-old against two fully trained and developed Pro Heroes. And you said it yourself, Varuna was an accident. And what Batuhan did was inexcusable, so he deserved to die." Bakugou huffed, as if he was stating the obvious.
"But... Did you go back to... him?" Kirishima added hesitantly, almost fearful of the answer he would receive.
"Not necessarily, after I came back to reality, I started crying and then I ran, eventually I got far enough, and... he was just there. And I was completely terrified, so when he offered me safety once again. It was hard to refuse it. So, I followed him through a portal and we ended up back in... whatever that room was where they kept the Nomu." Izuku explained, sighing as he thought through his memories, realizing just how truly psychotic All for One had once been.
Not to say he wasn't a genius in his own right.
But he was a psycho that still haunted Izuku's nightmares, along with Shigaraki.
"How did you meet Izanami?" Bakugou questioned, and Izuku truly couldn't help the smile that spread across his face at the mention of the woman.
He knew why he reacted the way he did to her.
Conditional learning, that's all it was.
A terrible mind game that was used against him and made him complicit.
And no matter the degree he had, he doubted he'd ever be rid of such conditioning.
Both Alphas were startled when they saw Izuku grin widely, his shoulders relaxing, and his face going expressionless, all but for that smile. "Oh, she was a monster beyond your wildest imaginations. Something directly out of someone's nightmares." Izuku sighed, his smile still there, and for whatever reason, the sound of the statement being said so airily put both men on edge.
"She's fair but merciless, though her fair treatment is only delivered to those she deems worthy or those she wants to take pity on. Whichever one I was I didn't care. For nine months, it was being hunted by her monsters, the shadows. If you stopped for too long, you were a dead man, if you ran too fast and didn't look where you were going. You'd fall down a rocky ledge to your death." Izuku continued, each memory of those mountains replaying in his mind as he remembered the freezing cold, how his entire body felt as though it was burning, and how the woods around him slowly began to speak, and they began to share their secrets. Their secrets of survival.
"Is she responsible for all of those?" Kirishima questioned as he pushed himself closer to the chair Izuku was sitting on, motioning to his hands.
"Oh... No, the ones on my hands are from me. Most of the ones on my arm are from Batuhan and my mother. But she did the rest, well her and Shigaraki." Izuku stated idly, holding no remorse for the scars of which he mentioned, or how he got them.
"What?" Bakugou growled, not having missed what Izuku mentioned at the end.
"Yeah... Though most of them were from Izanami, once I learned how to heal myself then my training was done. She gave me back to All for One and he gave me to Shigaraki. That's actually when I saw you for the first time again." Izuku stated as he looked over to Kirishima.
"Wait, what?" The redhead questioned, trying to think back to when he first saw Tenshi or Hikari.
"Stain. I helped your friend Iida with him because Shigaraki told me to take care of him, which wasn't the most fun conversation. After all, I explained to him I don't kill, which nearly got me dusted for just saying that." Izuku huffed, annoyingly remembering Shigaraki's shit attitude.
"I... I remember you; I hope you do know Iida is still very adamant about talking to you and properly thanking you and perhaps striking some kind of deal to pull you over to our side." Kirishima sighed, shaking his head fondly while Izuku laughed openly, chuckling to himself at the memories from the time he was 16 to now, the Hero Ingenium ever persistent to get a hold of him to talk. Though Izuku never truly gave him much time when he did let him catch him.
"Why didn't you tell Eijirou it was you?" Bakugou chimed in while Kirishima nodded hesitantly to the question.
"Oh, I didn't say anything because I thought you guys hated me. And because you know, being trained by villains, they aren't very encouraging about being friends with future Pro Heroes." Izuku shrugged, despite the way both Alphas reared back at the statement, eyes wide as they looked between each other and Izuku.
"Why the fuck would you think we hated you?!" Bakugou barked, and Izuku only raised a brow at the question.
"Kacchan, our relationship back then was pure shit. Primarily built on lies and whatever the fuck else there could've been. Not to mention the last time I had seen you back then was when I punched you in the face and kicked Kiri. My hopes for us were not on the bright side." Izuku explained, forcing both men silent as they truly thought about it.
"But we asked you... back then. If it was really you when Katsuki heard All for One say your name... Why didn't you tell us back then?" Kirishima questioned while Izuku sighed heavily at the question.
It was a loaded question.
There were multiple answers he could give.
And he figured both Pro Heroes wouldn't like any of them.
"I was assigned to try and convert you over to our side because All for One figured out... what kind of a relationship we have. So, he told me to reveal myself to you guys and tell you both that if you didn't join, they'd kill me... But I didn't want either of you as a villain." Izuku looked away from both men as he explained, feeling slightly guilty for not saying exactly the relationship that All for One had been trying to take advantage of.
"You told us that you-. Tenshi killed you..." Bakugou stated sadly, and Izuku definitely felt his heart shatter at the tone. He remembered exactly what he had said to them back then, he knew how horrible it was.
And he didn't feel prideful about it.
"I was angry back then... and really scared. I didn't want to hurt you guys. And I'm sorry for what I said back then. But, I wanted you to hate me... Well, Tenshi. Because then I knew you'd never join the League." Izuku explained sadly, ignoring the tears that welled up in his eyes as he pushed his face against his legs, looking down at his lap. Only to shriek when he felt an arm wrap around his side before yanking him off of the chair and positioning him in between both Alphas in the nest.
"We hated Tenshi because we thought he killed you and hurt you. But... It's just you. Izuku, and that's all we're worried about, that's all we care about. And you're not Tenshi, he's someone completely different from you because we know that's not the real you. That's someone you had to be just so you could be safe. And honestly... we hated him so much for what he said because we both knew it was true." Bakugou admitted as he pulled the greenette to sit in between his legs, resting his head against the fluffy head of curls.
Though Izuku did his best to not turn as red as a tomato when he felt the blonde wrap an arm around his waist. Kirishima chose to push himself in between the greenette's legs and lay his head down in his lap, pressing his nose to Izuku's stomach.
After a moment of trying to compose himself, Izuku looked over his shoulder at the blonde who merely grumbled when his head was no longer resting on Izuku's anymore. "I'm still sorry about it though..." Izuku mumbled, yelping when the blonde only grumbled and grabbed his chin, forcing him to press his back flush against the man's chest, while also allowing Bakugou to rest his head once again on Izuku's.
"We're not mad about that you know... We're not mad at you for anything, we just want to know what happened to you..." Kirishima explained as he grabbed Izuku's hand, squeezing it reassuringly.
"You guys should be..." Izuku muttered to himself, yelping in pain when he felt Bakugou nip his ear in retaliation.
"Don't say that bullshit, we'd only be mad at you if you were still a villain, and you're not. Hell, even back then, calling you a villain would have been a stretch. I mean you helped Ei and I escape back then..." Bakugou stated while Izuku hummed at the memory, only to shudder at the memory that came after it.
"Izuku... What happened after you got us away?" Kirishima questioned worriedly, and Izuku knew that there was no avoiding this one, though he sighed in relief when the redhead gave his thigh a reassuring squeeze, purposefully ignoring the butterflies it sent through his stomach.
"We went through another portal, and we ended up in some abandoned building... But Shigaraki was really pissed with me. He called me a traitor and... He used his quirk on me." Izuku mumbled, hissing in pain when he felt the redhead's hold on his thigh and the blonde's hold around his waist tighten painfully.
"He what?!" Bakugou growled, and Izuku ducked his head quickly to try and put some distance between himself and the enraged Alphas, only to whimper softly when they only squeezed him painfully once again, mentally cursing himself as his tears began to fall.
Immediately both holds the Pro Heroes had loosened, letting Izuku shake off the slight pain they had caused. Kirishima sat himself up, turning around to face Izuku as he placed the greenette's legs on either side of his waist.
"Where did he do it?" Kirishima questioned gently as he cradled the man's face, wiping his tears while Izuku took hold of one of his wrists.
"M-My shoulder... the left one," Izuku mumbled, looking down at his lap once again when he felt Bakugou grab the collar of his sweatshirt, pulling it to the side to reveal the large scar that took up the entirety of his left shoulder.
"Heh... it nearly killed me, you know? Somehow my healing canceled out his decay, so I was able to live. But it hurt so bad though..." Izuku chuckled bitterly to himself, flinching once again when he heard both men growl lowly at the sight.
"How many times have you almost died that we haven't known about? That we haven't felt? Why didn't we feel it?!" Kirishima questioned worriedly, though his volume increased as he asked. But Izuku couldn't focus on that part.
No, all he could focus on was why Kirishima said, 'why didn't we feel it?'
"You'd think because it's almost touching our mark, we would've felt it worse, or at least known." Bakugou huffed aggravatedly, and Izuku paled when he heard the term, 'our mark.'
"W-What?" Izuku squeaked as he looked at the redhead, though Kirishima only sighed as he looked down at Izuku sadly.
"We know you're ours Izuku. You're our soulmate and we're yours." The man stated bluntly while Izuku's mouth fell open slightly as he tried to figure everything out.
"W-When did you both..."
"We figured it out last movie night, saw your mark when you were sleeping. And we already had our assumptions because we thought we saw a glimpse of it at the park one day. Also, because that's just what we wanted." Bakugou clarified, hunching his back so he could place his head on Izuku's shoulder rather than his head.
"W-Wait, that's what you... what you wanted?" Izuku questioned softly while Bakugou huffed at the question, though Kirishima once again cradled Izuku's face in his hands, leading the Omega to look up at him.
"Izuku, that's what we wanted before we even realized it. That's why we reacted so strongly when Tenshi told us that you were dead. That's why we immediately got protective. Because we're yours and you're ours." Kirishima explained as he pressed a kiss to the greenette's forehead, only for Izuku to whimper as tears welled up in his eyes again, but as they fell, neither Alpha let Izuku look away from them.
"W-Why don't you both just hate me?" Izuku sniffled as he tried to hide his face in his hands, only for the blonde to grab his wrists with one hand, pinning them down to his lap while the greenette whined.
"Because you're ours. That's what we want. There couldn't ever be a time where we have or ever will hate you." Bakugou answered as he kissed Izuku's temple, rubbing the man's wrists with his thumb.
"Izuku... how many more scars do you have?" Kirishima questioned gently, wiping at the man's tears.
"I-I... Can I just show you? It's... It's easier that way..." Izuku asked as he looked away from the redhead.
"That's more than all right Deku, just show us whatever you want," Bakugou stated as he let go of the greenette, he and Kirishima gave Izuku the room to move away from them, despite the fact that both of them didn't like it.
Hesitantly, Izuku pulled his hair into a bun as he turned to face both men. "Just for warning... It's nothing pretty..." Izuku mumbled before he stripped himself of his sweatshirt, revealing his front that held a few gash scars across his torso and one deep tissue scar near his collar bone, above his right pec that thankfully wasn't inflamed.
"Those are from Izanami?" Kirishima questioned gently, only receiving a nod as an answer.
"N-Not... Not just those..." Izuku muttered as he turned around and revealed his back.
Now both men were left speechless.
They had no words to say.
Because the only things that wanted to come out of them were growls and roars as they tore apart the monster that did this.
There were too many to count. Gash scars of all sizes, lash scars, and a few deep tissue scars that thankfully weren't horribly inflamed, there wasn't much unmarred skin on his back, only small patches near his hips. The only thing that was left unmarred was the soulmate mark.
It overlapped it all.
And yet, it did nothing to make either Pro Hero feel better.
It only served as a reminder that they hadn't been there to stop any of that. That they hadn't been able to protect their oldest friend, their soulmate. And that throughout it all, he had been alone.
He had been suffering and they weren't there.
They'd never let that happen again.
Izuku didn't move from where he stood, still feeling the gazes that bore into his soul, though he shrieked when a cold hand traced one of the scars on his back, Bakugou could only feel the skin gently as he tried to wrap his head around it. Though from the front, Kirishima's fingers hovered over the tissue scar above Izuku's right pec.
Izuku shuddered at the feeling of cold fingertips gently tracing the scar, while another, thankfully warmer hand traced the line where the scar on Izuku's shoulder stopped, hardly a centimeter away from his neck and scent glands.
"That could've been your heart..." Kirishima murmured while Izuku looked between both men sadly, smiling the best he could at both of them.
"If that had only been a little closer..." Bakugou growled as he glared at the scar on the doctor's shoulder murderously as if he could scare it away.
"But it wasn't my heart, and it won't get any closer... I'm okay now... I'm safe." Izuku smiled sadly, trying to blink back the tears in his eyes. Bakugou moved to stand in front of Izuku as he grabbed the sweatshirt from the Omega, helping him put it back on before nearly crushing him in a hug that Kirishima added to.
"We promise we won't ever let it happen again, okay? We'll all protect each other from now on... Just please don't hide from us anymore..." Kirishima cried, not caring to wipe his tears as he pressed his face into Izuku's hair.
"I-I... I promise..." Izuku mumbled while Bakugou took hold of his jaw and forced the greenette to look up at them, despite the way he was still stubbornly fighting tears and failing.
"We don't like the fact that you have them, but we don't think of you any differently because of your scars, they're still as perfect to us as you are. It just shows how strong you are, and why you were meant to be ours." Bakugou stated stubbornly as he pulled the two down with him and reposition them all into their previous spots, Izuku once again wedged between the two while little to no space was left between them.
"But we do want to know... why didn't you tell us when you first found out?" The redhead asked gently, wiping at the doctor's tears, despite Izuku weakly trying to pull away from him.
"Because... Because when I first found out, we were still 15... and I swore you both hated me back then, so I was terrified to tell you both... and my mother said... she said..." Izuku stuttered, willing himself to just say it and be done with it.
"What did she say to you?" Bakugou questioned sternly, trying to keep himself in check so he wouldn't hurt Izuku again.
"She told me since I was little that... that anyone who would ever love me would only use me and hurt me before leaving me behind... and when she saw my soulmate mark... she said that it was just proof that all I was good for was to be used and-."
"That's wrong. All of it is a fucking lie. Izuku for the love of the gods, please tell me you do not believe what she said." Kirishima cut him off, his tone once again deathly quiet, making Izuku shudder.
"I... I always knew she was wrong, my dad always told me she was... it was just always in the back of my mind, especially back then... so, I was scared..." Izuku explained, though both Alphas merely grumbled as they pressed themselves closer somehow, Kirishima kissing the scar on Izuku's shoulder as he moved his hands to wrap around both of his soulmates. Still, the blonde merely pressed a kiss to Izuku's cheek as he gently rubbed his wrists with his thumb.
And Izuku... could only let it happen as he tried to keep himself from short-circuiting, trying his best to cool himself off, because the burning of his ears was enough alone to tell him he probably looked like a tomato.
"Heh, you look like a strawberry when you're flustered," Kirishima chuckled while Izuku whined helplessly at the teasing.
"What is it Izuku~ Aren't you happy to have you're Alphas here to give you attention?" Bakugou teased cruelly, which only made Izuku's blush spread down to his shoulders as he looked behind him and pouted at the Pro Hero.
"You're both terrible..." Izuku mumbled, pursing his lips as he pouted.
"We are... but I think you can handle us~" Kirishima teased as he kissed Izuku's nose, both men reveling at the sound of Izuku's flustered whimpers.
"Now, is there anything else you need to explain to us, so we don't end up murdering someone?" Kirishima questioned while Izuku squawked at the bluntness of it, thinking to himself as Bakugou released his wrists, massaging them for a moment before fully letting go to wrap an arm around Izuku and around Kirishima's shoulders.
"Well... after that whole fiasco, I steered clear from Shigaraki's bad side. We ended up working with Overhaul... the bastard was using Eri for his sick shit. So... I kidnapped her." Izuku coughed while both men balked at the statement.
"You what?!" Kirishima shrieked while Izuku chuckled nervously.
"So, I was pissed at what Overhaul was doing to her, so I took her without permission, ended up getting my ass kicked when I brought her to an alleyway and told her to run for help... Seriously Rapa was a dick though, he didn't have to keep punching me when I was down." Izuku mumbled bitterly, missing the way both men looked between each other and the greenette with both expressions of anger and worry.
"But I guess Overhaul got her back... Asshole, so he locked me up and tried to get answers out of me, which didn't work thankfully. Then I ended up busting out with Toga and Twice, and I think I fought with Sir Nighteye and that Lemillion guy, I stopped him from getting shot and-."
"Wait, you were the stranger that healed Nighteye and save Mirio's quirk?!" Kirishima shouted while Izuku raised a brow at the redhead before realizing why the redhead looked so shocked.
"Oh! That's right! You were there too! I completely forgot since I was fighting! And also because Lemillion was yelling a lot." Izuku chuckled, despite the redhead's expression of pure shock.
"You also kidnapped Eri," Kirishima added blankly while Izuku chuckled nervously.
"It was only for a couple of hours! She had a fever from overusing her quirk!"
"You broke into UA."
"Hold up, that was you!?" Bakugou shouted while Izuku looked between both men nervously.
"Well, I couldn't just walk up to the front gate and leave Eri there! Besides, I wanted to be sure that Eraserhead would be the one taking care of her!" Izuku tried to defend him, only receiving two unimpressed expressions.
"And let me guess, you're also the one that Kota and Eri both refer to as Mr. Shi?" Kirishima questioned blankly while Izuku chuckled sheepishly.
"To be fair... They both came up with that name on their own." Izuku grinned nervously, only receiving two very exasperated groans in return.
"What next, you're going to tell us that you're some spy or something for the Hero Commission?" Bakugou scoffed, though Izuku only looked over his shoulder nervously. And after a moment of silence, both Alphas immediately went rigid.
"You've got to be fucking kidding me. Say fucking sike." Bakugou ordered while Izuku looked away from them both nervously.
"To be fair... I work more so for Hawks than I do the commission..." Izuku mumbled while both Pro Heroes went wide-eyed.
"You've got to be kidding me... How the fuck does that even work!?" Kirishima shouted, grabbing both sides of Izuku's face once again as he made the greenette look him dead in the eyes.
"So... I'm guessing you both know what happened in Dekia City ten years ago, so that was the League obviously, but during the fight, I realized that I was on the wrong side, so... I betrayed the League and went to Hawks for help because he was a spy for the Hero Commission too. And he ended up helping me a lot, you know adopting me and all, along with helping me become a legal vigilante... And I technically work for him, though I still have to take orders from the President of the Hero Commission." Izuku explained while both Pro Heroes stared at him in shock.
"Holy fucking shit..." Bakugou breathed as he looked up at the ceiling of their fort.
"Enough... Enough with you. You're staying home forever. No more anything for you." Kirishima groaned while Izuku balked at the statement.
"Hey! I'm not that bad!" Izuku protested, only receiving two very unimpressed and slightly daring expressions.
"You were literally just in the hospital, we fucking held you in our arms, you don't get to say shit." Bakugou threatened while Izuku sputtered for a moment before deflating, nodding begrudgingly.
"Good, now, let's grab your stuff and go home," Kirishima ordered as he pulled the two up with him, though Izuku looked between the two questioningly.
"Uh... we are home?" Izuku questioned while Bakugou scoffed and shook his head, though Kirishima merely chuckled.
"Izuku, we love your home and how you've made it your own, it's a good place. But no. We want you to move in with us." Bakugou stated while Izuku balked at the blonde.
"That's not how that works!" Izuku protested, though watching in shock as the blonde rolled his eyes and pulled him into his room, grabbing Izuku's bags as he handed them to him.
"Do you want to move in with us or not? It's up to you." Bakugou questioned while Izuku thought to himself for a moment as he held one of his bags in hand.
Honestly, having a home with both of his Alphas sounded amazing, something out of a dream that he'd never believed would become a reality.
"I do... actually but don't you think this is moving really fast?" Izuku questioned, though regardless still began packing up his things quickly. Actually somewhat excited to see Kirishima's and Bakugou's home.
"No, no we do not. Now, I doubt you'll need anything from your kitchen for right now, we can come back another day and grab the rest of your stuff later." Kirishima stated, only for Izuku to gape at the other man.
"Holy shit... you're both completely serious," Izuku mumbled while both Alphas looked at him confused.
"Why wouldn't we be serious about this? We've been getting shit all week for you to have at the house, it'd be pointless to have if we didn't expect you to live with us. How else are we going to check in on you easily?" Bakugou explained as if Izuku had just asked a stupid question.
"Again, don't you think this is something you both should think about more? I could pretty much disrupt your entire system of things! And you're both Pro Heroes you don't need stress on top of stress!" Izuku stated while both men looked at Izuku unimpressed.
"I've known you for 12 years, Kat's known you for 22 years. We've been staying the night with you for almost three months, and we're soulmates. I think we've waited long enough, not to mention we have our system together, we all work well together. But you being away from us for too long, outside of our territory, that's what makes us stressed." Kirishima stated while Izuku looked between the two in shock for a moment before blinking away his shock and resuming his packing.
"All right, have fun explaining that to my brother though." Izuku teased as he walked into his bathroom and grabbed his things.
"One, we'll deal with that chicken. Two, you don't need half of that. We already bought it earlier this week." Bakugou stated as he grabbed Izuku's hair care supplies and a few things from his facial routine and placed it all back in his bathroom.
"Yeah, besides it'll be good to keep some stuff here just in case you need to run by here after a patrol until you sell this place," Kirishima added while Bakugou scoffed at the redhead.
"It's clear he's done some renovations; you could rent this place out if you wanted to." Bakugou chimed in while Izuku laughed to himself.
"Holy shit this is actually happening," Izuku mumbled, shaking his head fondly as he grabbed a suitcase and packed some other things.
"Obviously," Kirishima added as he handed Izuku a few things that he figured he'd need.
"Also, I'm suspended from work for a week and Hawks has grounded me from patrol for two." Izuku groaned, though Bakugou only laughed while Kirishima cheered jokingly.
"That's actually a good thing, then you can set your stuff up wherever you like and make the house feel more like home. And we can go out and get whatever else you'll need tomorrow." Kirishima grinned widely while Izuku couldn't help but smile with him. Though, unlike the redhead, his cheeks were tinged pink from the declaration.
"Am I dreaming right now or something? Because this is a little too good to be true." Izuku laughed to himself, only to shriek when Kirishima came from behind him and spun him around before lifting him off the ground and holding him in his arms to where Izuku was practically using the redhead's arms as a seat.
"Nope! Completely real! Now is that everything or did you want to bring some pillows and blankets for your nest?" The redhead asked as he looked around for anything he could assume Izuku might need.
"No need, I already packed up the nest from the living room. And if that's everything he can head home now." Bakugou stated as he set the bag where he had folded all of the blankets Izuku regularly uses for their nest next to Izuku's bags.
"I have everything." Izuku laughed as he jumped from the redhead's arms, grabbing his things while both Pro Heroes quickly grabbed more bags before he could, making the Omega scoff.
"I can carry my own bags you know?" Izuku teased as the three put on their shoes, and Izuku wondered for a moment how on earth had Bakugou folded and packed up the entire nest along with taking down the fort so quickly, leaving his living room in better shape than it had been when they showed up.
"Not happening Deku, come on. Let's go home."
