"Joonie, come see this." Jin said as he waved his husband over, trying to stay hidden so Yoongi wouldn't see them if he looked up and hoping he wouldn't hear.
"What is it?" Namjoon asked as he walked over to his husband before pausing as he saw what his husband was looking at, "Oh, that's so cute." Namjoon said with a smile as he reached for his phone, he needed a picture of this.
The married couple had been straightening up the house and had left Yoongi to watch cartoons in the sitting room with Kookie sleeping in his basket near him. He'd been told to be careful around the basket and if Jungkook started crying to come and find one of them. They knew Yoongi would be good with Jungkook and very careful, he'd been amazing with the twins and he'd grown more responsible since then. Plus they had seen the way Yoongi had held Jungkook yesterday when they were at Jin's parents, his little brother was officially his world.
Currently, Yoongi was standing next to Jungkook's baby basket, making sure to not lean on it. His hand was in the basket and Jungkook had wrapped his tiny fist around Yoongi's pinkie finger as he continued to sleep.
"Yoongi, baby, would you like to hold Jungkook again?" Jin asked as he walked into the room and went over to his children. He was really excited for the rest of their children to be back again, just an hour or two at most and they'd have all of their boys in the house.
"Yes please, appa." Yoongi said with a nod as he carefully moved away from the basket and sat down on the sofa so he could cuddle his little brother, "He's very quiet. He doesn't cry like Jimin and Tae did." He said.
"He is very quiet but that's because he's growing and it's very tiring for him." Namjoon said as he walked into the room to join them. It wasn't really why Jungkook didn't cry but Yoongi didn't need to know the sad reason some babies didn't cry. While the doctors, nurses and midwives did their best looking after the babies they couldn't give them all the attention they needed so some babies would cry and not get seen and it taught the baby that communicating you needed help or just needed someone would not result in anything so the babies stopped crying. It would fix though, their baby would learn that if he cried they would be there and they would help him as quickly as they could.
Yoongi nodded a little bit and watched Jin as he picked Jungkook up out of the basket and carried him over. "Thank you, appa." He said as Jungkook was put in his arms and he pressed a gentle kiss to Jungkook's forehead.
"You're welcome, baby." Jin said with a smile as he sat beside Namjoon and wrapped his arms around his husband, "Are you excited for your brother coming home today?" He asked him.
Yoongi nodded, "I've missed them a lot and I want to be able to play games with them again." He said, "Can me and Hoseok have a sleepover in my room tonight?"
"If Hoseok wants to sleep in your room then I don't see why not." Namjoon said with a nod as he leaned back into Jin's arms a little bit and closed his eyes. He was really tired at the minute, he'd not slept well the previous night because he'd been worrying the whole time about Jungkook. Now their baby was at home if anything went wrong there wasn't a medical professional to help and it worried him a lot because he wouldn't know what to do to help their baby.
"Do you want to lie down, my love?" Jin whispered to him, "I can wake you up once they get here."
"I'm okay, plus Jungkook will need a feed soon so I'd just have to get up for that." He said as he cuddled into Jin more. He knew he could always pump some milk and Jin could feed Jungkook it from the bottle but he didn't want to do that. He'd not done that with any of his babies and Jungkook had to have the while in the NICU and while he knew that was fine he'd like the chance to feed his babies himself and he didn't want to give up that chance.
"Okay." Jin said with a smile and kissed the side of his head, "Will you at least stay resting for me?" He asked Namjoon, wanting to look after his husband who was always working so hard to look after all of their babies.
"Yeah," Namjoon said with a small nod as he cuddled into Jin more with a small yawn, "Yoongi's such a good big brother." He said with a smile as he watched him, "Do you think the twins will struggle with not being the youngest in the house anymore?" He asked Jin. Yoongi had been fine because he wasn't quite old enough when Hoseok was born but they had both struggled a little bit with the twins when they were born. He was sure Yoongi was fine with Jungkook not just because he'd seen him react to him now but because they'd known for a while Jungkook was coming to join them and Yoongi understood that. He thought Hoseok would be quite good but he wasn't sure the twins would be the best at first, he knew they loved their little brother and would get used to it but a big change was never easy for anyone and worse for children.
"All children struggle a little bit with becoming an older sibling but they've known for a while he was going to be coming home and I think the relief of him being okay will help with the transition of them being the youngest to being big brothers. There will always be one or two struggles but I'm hopeful." Jin said with a smile.
"That's true." Namjoon said with a small nod of his head, "Either way, we can manage it, everything will be okay."
Yoongi shuffled a little on the sofa, trying to get a little bit more comfortable when Jungkook started crying loudly in his arms.
Jin moved very quickly and got Jungkook into his arms, holding him close and gently shushing the baby, kissing the side of his head, "You're okay, baby, I have you, everything is okay."
"I-I'm sorry, I-I just moved a tiny tiny bit and he started crying." Yoongi said, his own eyes starting to fill with tears as he heard Jungkook crying and worried that he had done something wrong. "Is he okay?"
Namjoon brought Yoongi into his lap and held him close, "He's fine, sweetie, babies just cry sometimes, you didn't do anything wrong."
"B-but I moved, and now he's so upset." Yoongi said as he curled into Namjoon, clinging to the top his dada was wearing.
"He's not upset because you moved, baby. He's probably hungry or he needs to be changed." Namjoon said.
"Do you promise?" Yoongi asked him, starting to calm down a little bit more.
"What's the matter, Boo?" Jin asked Jungkook as he shushed him lightly, "You don't seem like you need a change. Do you need feeding? Is that it?" He asked Jungkook. He knew he would never get an answer but he strongly believed in talking to his babies and trying to make sure they knew what was going on around them.
"See, like you appa just said, Koo is just hungry, I'll feed him and then everything will be okay." Namjoon said to Yoongi as he pressed a kiss to the top of his head and then put Yoongi on the sofa beside him so he could feed Jungkook.
Jin passed Jungkook to Namjoon before picking Yoongi up and putting him in his lap, "Nothing you did was wrong, you are great with Jungkook." He told Yoongi.
Namjoon smiled as he pulled his top up and held Jungkook close so he could feed him, leaning back in his seat a little bit so he was more comfortable, "Can you get me a muslin cloth, please?" He asked Jin, having forgotten to get one before he started to feed Jungkook.
"Of course." Jin said with a nod as he put Yoongi back on the sofa and went to get one for Namjoon before sitting back down next to Yoongi and holding him close, "Are you watching Thomas the Tank Engine?" Jin asked Yoongi with a grin when he looked at the cartoon playing on the TV.
"Yeah!" Yoongi cheered with a nod of his head, "He's the best train in the whole world!" He said, "That's why he has number one on his side."
Namjoon smiled as he watched Yoongi talk to Jin about Thomas and all the amazing things the train did. He truly loved his life in times like this, he was so blessed with the most amazing sons and the most handsome and caring husband on the whole plant. "You're such a lucky boy, Koo, you're going to be so loved for the whole of your life." He whispered as Jungkook drank.
Once Jungkook was finished Namjoon moved him carefully so Jungkook's head was looking over his shoulder and started to lightly pat his back to burp him. "Good boy." He said with a smile as Jungkook burped and he held him cradled in his arms after, humming lightly to him to help him fall asleep.
A few minutes later Jin looked over to his husband when he heard snoring and laughed lightly to himself, "Yoongi, look at your dada." He said as he pointed to Namjoon was was asleep and snoring lightly with Jungkook also fast asleep in his arms and sucking on his thumb.
"Is dada having a nap?" Yoongi asked with a giggle, "I'm bigger than dada now because I don't have to have naps anymore, I stay awake all day." Yoongi said with a grin as he watched his sleeping father.
Jin nodded as he picked up a pacifier and replaced Jungkook's thumb with it, "Yeah, you're a big boy now aren't you? All grown up and Appa's trusty little helper, aren't you?" He asked him with a smile.
"Yeah, I help appa with everything, like giving cuddles and finding the best toys and I even put my own toys away now like a grown up." Yoongi said, grinning from ear to ear.
"Yes you are, my love." Jin said with a nod, "I think, since you are so grown up and always so well behaved for appa and dada you deserve a treat. How about we have a snack and some chocolate milk?" Jin asked Yoongi.
"Can we have chocolate chip cookies and chocolate milk?" Yoongi asked hopefully.
"Of course we can, let's go and get some." Jin said as he held a hand out to his oldest son so they could go to the kitchen and put together their snack, "Would you like anything else? Any fruit?" He asked, hoping to also get Yoongi to eat a little something healthy.
"Um, bananas and strawberries?" Yoongi asked.
"That sounds like a very good choice to me." Jin said with a nod, "That's what we'll have." He said as he took Yoongi into the kitchen so that they could make the snacks. He put Yoongi on a stool next to the breakfast bar, "What do you do when you sit here?" He asked him.
"I stay very still and if I want down I ask an adult for help." Yoongi said with a smile as he moved slightly further back on the seat and then stayed very still once he was there.
"You're such a good boy, Yoongi." Jin said as he pressed a kiss to the top of his head before he got two plates and put them on the breakfast bar before he got out the strawberries, banana, cookies and chocolate milk. Then he got out two cups, a knife and a chopping board.
"Okay, cookies and milk first and then we'll have some fruit." Jin said as he sat next to Yoongi with everything they needed on the table and the knife out of Yoongi's reach. "How many cookies would you like?" He asked his son as he poured him a glass of chocolate milk into one of the plastic cups.
"Three, please." Yoongi said as he picked up his cup and had a sip, "Mmm, this is good." He said with a grin as he drank more from the cup.
Jin smiled and got three cookies out for Yoongi and put them on the plate for him, they were only small so he wasn't worried about them filling him up too much. "Okay, you eat those and I will make you some fruit." Jin said as he started to cut up the strawberries and bananas while watching Yoongi out of the corner of his eye just to make sure that he was okay.
Yoongi ate his cookies with a happy smile on his face while Jin prepared the fruit for him. They talked about what Yoongi did with his grandparents and what they could do tomorrow as a whole family, "We could go to the park." Yoongi said with a bright smile.
"Yeah, and if you are all good boys like I am sure you will be, we can get ice cream." Jin said as he put some bananas and strawberries onto a plate for Yoongi, "Your brothers will be here soon."
Yoongi grinned brightly as he started to eat his fruit, "Should we save some fruit and biscuits for them?" Yoongi asked him.
"I'll cut some fruit up for them when they get here and settle down." Jin told him, "You just enjoy yours."
"Okay." Yoongi said as he kept eating his fruit until he heard a knock on the door, "That will be them, down now, please, please, please." He said, half ready to jump off of the stool but he knew better than to do that.
Jin laughed and picked Yoongi up off of the stool, "Okay, settle sweetie." He said as he held him close and walked towards the door with Yoongi in his arms and opened the door.
"Appa!"
