Also I'm going through some shit where I'm overtaken by guilt, anger and sadness so I guess the amount of writing I'm doing is coping about that

"Are you crazy?!" I yelled as Fugo headed for the balcony.

"What? It's three against two. We don't stand a chance against them, especially since there might be more of them here."

"So we're gonna run? I mean, yeah, that way we could get help from the others but... THE BALCONY?!" He tugged on my arm as he sat himself down on the railing.

"It's probably the safest option as well. We'll dive into the ocean, get back to the car and drive to the hotel."

"We'll get soaked."

"Don't worry about that, now grab my hand." He reached his hand out to me, helping up on the railing. I looked down on the waves at the bottom, praying that there weren't any rocks or sharks.

"You know, Fugo, I totally think we can fight them. Then we can peacefully walk out the door, right?" I asked as I chuckled nervously. He pulled me into his arms, holding me tightly to his body. Several footsteps were heard from a distance, and it was only a matter of time before they'd reach us. It definitely sounded like more than three people as well...

"I won't let go of you until we're in the water, okay? Then we both gotta swim to the shore and get back up to the parking lot." Instead of replying, I just grabbed onto his shirt tightly as he let go of the railing, pushing us deep into the sea.

The fall felt like it lasted forever, until the pressure of the water surrounded me. Fugo's arms released their grasp around me, since he had begun swimming up to the surface. I hurriedly began waving my arms to swim after him, but it was pretty hard with this dress.

When I finally got up from the water, I was gasping for air, and it felt like my lungs were about to explode. Fugo was on his way back to the shore, so I swam after him as fast as I could. Once I got close enough that I could walk, Fugo rushed to help me get up.

"Why the hell did it take you so long to get up here?! You had me worried sick." He said as he let go of my hand to throw away his soaked jacket.

"Try swimming with a dress, I dare you." I shivered as I spoke. Italy wasn't necessarily cold at night compared to the day, but the water made it feel a whole lot colder, especially since we were by the ocean.

"Right, but we need to hurry. If we get back to the car, we'll be safe for the most part." I twisted some water out of my dress while he started to walk up to the car, pretty much forcing me to walk in a wet dress.

We climbed up a pretty steep hill, before getting a clear view of the parking lot. I mentally thanked Fugo for not parking right in the middle.

"Run as fast as you can. Just get into the car and I'll start driving right away, got it?" He whispered to me and I gave him a nod as we quickly got into the car. The engine got started up the second I sat down, and I barely even got a chance to close the door before he drove off.

~~~
"Okay, the hotel isn't far away, we'll be able to rest there and plan what's next." He made sharp turns, driving faster than I'd like him to.
"Fugo, we're getting the car all wet." I complained as I tried to get the material of the dress to not stick on my skin.
"That's not important right now." He reached into the side of the door, pulling out some papers. "Giorno had some spare clothes packed for us in the trunk of the car, here's the papers about our hotel stay. He's made sure that we won't need to check in, and we'll be able to head to our rooms peacefully. Do you mind checking that it's correct?"
"Oh, sure." I took the papers, looking them through. It clearly stated that we were already checked in, but I noticed something else. "Uhm, Fugo..."
"Yeah? Is something wrong?"
"Well, uhm... I've read through these papers a few times now, but I'm sure of it. It says that we'll be staying in the same room." His grip around the steering wheel tightened, and his eyes hid some sort of mixture between anger and... Was he blushing as well?
"THAT SON OF A BITCH!" He slammed on the brakes, right outside of a building that had the same name as it said on the papers. I looked up at the hotel, questioning how things would change after this.
"Let's just go inside." I didn't look at him anymore after that, since I was practically burning up with embarrassment.
~~~

"So, this is our hotel room then." I said as we entered the large room. I think we both quickly took notice of how there was only one double bed.

"Y-Yeah, uh, here." He handed me my spare clothes, but his face was redder than a strawberry. "Y-You can change in the bathroom, and I'll change in here."

"Ah, s-sure." I grabbed my things and locked the door behind me, letting out a long sigh. I heard Fugo begin to change on the other side of the door, so I put my clothes down and reached to the zipper on the back of my dress. When I finally, reached it, I tugged on it, but it wouldn't budge. I pulled on it again, but it still remained stuck. Meanwhile, Fugo knocked on my door.

"Hey, I'm done, just so you know."

Shit.

I opened the door, stepping out in my still soaked dress.

"Y/N? Why are you still wearing the dress?" He asked, and his face was slightly less red than before.

"I, uh... I can't get the zipper down." I said as I turned my back to him. "Could you... Help me?" I didn't get an answer, but I felt him stare holes into my soul. "Fugo, please, I can't fix it myself."

"O-Oh, right." His hands pressed at my back, tugging on the zipper. "You're right, it's stuck."

"I know, I'm not sure how to get it off."

"I can try cutting it off?" He suggested.

"Cutting it? Sure, but how?"

"I have a pocket knife on me at all times. It's a bit slow, but it gets the job done."

"Oh, well... Just don't cut my skin." I said and I felt him change his hold on the dress.

"You know I wouldn't do that." He began cutting into the material, right next to the zipper. I knew I had to say something about earlier, since this might be the only chance I got.

"Fugo... Uhm, about what happened earlier." He stopped for a second, taking in the words before continuing.

"...Yeah, what about it?"

"How did you... feel about it? I-I mean, was it just- was it something you did in the heat of the moment, or was it, uhm... How do I say it...?" It felt like I was painting myself into a corner, and he wasn't helping either.

"Go on."

"Well, what I mean to ask is-... What I mean is, uh... Fugo, would you kiss me again?" He finished cutting, and let go of the dress. Unfortunately, I was preoccupied with talking so I didn't notice, which meant that I accidentally let the dress fall to the floor. I stood with my back turned to him, in only my underwear, surrounded by a cut-up, wet dress.

"Y-Y/N, your dress, it-..." My face reddened, and my breathing sped up. Still, I gathered up the courage to turn around to face him. His face was as red as it was earlier, and his eyes scanned my body thoroughly before looking back up at my face.

"I- Uhm, I-... I know the timing is terrible, but I really want to know... Would you kiss me again?" My hands were practically shaking, and the knife in his hands accidentally dropped to the floor, bringing us both back to reality. Fugo and I crouched at the same time to pick it up, which only brought our faces closer. We were both on our knees, and I instinctively leaned closer to him. He must have caught up on what I was doing, since he placed his hands on my waist and pulled me closer to him.

"Actually..." He said with a gulp, pressing me against his body. I was positioned in between his legs, right in front of his face. "I'd kiss you right now."

"Then... can you do that? Like, right now?" I asked, and I didn't have to wait a single second before he pressed his lips to mine. One of his hands made its' way up to my hair, holding me in place while the other held onto my torso tightly. He fell backwards, which only made it easier for him to lean back and press me to him more. His kiss was softer this time, and not as desperate. I wasn't sure how I felt about it, but I was happy to be kissing him again. Just as I felt myself relax much more, a knock was heard on the door. We both threw ourselves up.

"Who the hell is that?!" I asked and he held up his hand, telling me to be quiet. Fugo stepped over my dress that still laid on the floor, to look through the peephole on the door. I waited patiently for him to give me some type of signal.

Suddenly, he turned around quickly, grabbing my spare dress and throwing it at me.

"Fugo, what's going on?!" I slipped it on quickly. I separated the curtains, and I thanked whatever God there was that we were on the bottom floor.

"We need to get out of here, now." He said as he opened the door to the window, urging me to get out.

"Fugo, please tell me what's going on."

"They're here, they found us."
