The new year hit hard.
Tshile came to do right by me.
There was a tranquility in the yard , one I never got experience with my first marriage.
Tshile was charged one cow,my parents were building relations between us and nothing more.

Clicks his tongue seeing his WhatsApp status of Kg.
He goes to his Instagram and Matshepang's pictures are trending.
His heart pulls tight because a big piece of him misses her. Matshepang is an amazing woman but he took her for granted and him seeing her with another man hurts in ways he can't comprehend.
He thought getting a child with someone else would make him feel whole,but now looking back maybe his mother's advice wasn't the best one to follow.
Dineo might have gave him the best gift but she doesn't have that thing that makes a house a home.
You know the saying you can't turn your side chick into a house wife,it's exactly that,Dineo doesn't cook,we have a private chef,she doesn't clean or wash laundry we have a maid,she doesn't even wake up when our child cries,we have a live in nanny.
I sigh
My family doesn't want her. She and my mom got along but that has also changed.
My father never acknowledged her ,even when I went to pay lobola my father told me he only knows Matshepang and no one else.
My father doesn't even want my child to step in his yard. I sometimes miss my family but what's the point when they don't even respect my choices.
"Sir Oagile is hot again ,I gave him medicine but he is not calming down" the nanny says taking me out of my thoughts.
I rush to my son and he is hot indeed.
I wake Dineo up and we rush to the hospital. They check him out and they can't seem to find anything.
This is the third time this week alone.
"I suggest you guys maybe go check out with a spiritual guide,because nothing medically is wrong with this child " an elderly nurse tells me and Dineo.
The following morning me and Dineo went to a prophet.
"The child is being bewitched by your ex wife,she wants him dead so you can come back to her" the lady says and my head spirals .
"Matshepang?" I ask confused
"Yes,you have said she is a witch " Dineo reminds me
"Yes but that was me just being spiteful " I say
"Well seems like it's the truth " Dineo says
We left the prophet with my head completely confused.She gave us things to bath with.
A few days later I was with the boys.
Zuki,Muzi and Kg we just chilling.
"Yoh! The wedding looks like it was dope" Muzi says to Kg
"Dude I never drank as much as I did,the wedding was wild" he says
"Yoh! Mpho what's up?" Zuri asks me
"Nothing man" I say
"Don't tell me you touched because Matshepang got married right?" Muzi says
"What No ways! I honestly don't care about her getting married, what I have an issue with is her bewitching my son" I snap and they look at me and Zuri cracks up laughing.
"Stop laughing,I am serious,dude I went to see a prophet and they say Matshepang is bewitching my son so I can go back to her" and Muzi and Kg also crack up.
"Mpho ,Matshepang is sitting on a Gold mine why would she want you back?" Muzi asks
" Besides him being a gold mine,when does she have time to bewitch you,she is bearly in the country to start with "Zuri says
"Guys I am being honest,my kid is sick and the doctors see nothing so I decided to seek a spiritual eye and that's what they told me." I say
"Mpho I bet it on my kids lives Matshepang's not bewitching you and she doesn't want you back I can promise you that on my wife,she has moved on dude,she is genuinely happy,not to say your kids not sick but on my life Matshepang has nothing to do with it" Kg says
"I know someone I can refer you to " Muzi says
A few drinks later I head home.
Morning came and I told Dineo we going for a second opinion. She wasn't happy with it but I had to for myself.
The old man welcomed us to his hut.
He chanted things I didn't understand the threw the bones on the floor.
"Makhosi" he says
"Your ancestors have turned the backs on you.
You left a woman who was good to you and your family, you keep embarrassing her infront of people,and that angered her ancestors,you are going to have to ask forgiveness.
You are going to lose everything you have in a blink of an eye." The old man says
"So you saying she is not bewitching my child?" I ask and the old man laughs.
"The child wants his linage,to be introduced to his ancestors " he says
"How do I go about that?" I ask
"A welcomeing ceremony has to be performed for him"
The old man says
"Please wait outside so I can tell the mother what to do to help the child sleep " he says and I get out
I am soo happy that Matshwpang has nothing to do with him being sick.
Inside the hut
"Ntombezane you are playing with your child's life,his ancestors are crying for him and you have him use a surname that's not his,if you don't make things right they will also take away the child you are carrying " the old man says
"I have my reasons " Dineo says
"They going to back fire on you, you need to take him to his father's home" the old man says and Dineo gets out upset.
They drive home in silence.
"I need to get my father on board so we can do a welcoming ceremony for Oagile" I tell Dineo she just nods
I drove to my parents house and my father was happy to see me. The moment i mentioned Dineo and Oagile my father stood up and left ignoring me.
I told my mother and she said she will talk to him.
I left my parents house and got to my place. Dineo was out with her friends.
I sat up waiting for her,she got in and didn't bring me anything to eat.
"Dineo you couldn't bring me something to eat?" I ask her softly
"Is there anything wrong with the chef that you couldn't ask him to make you something to eat?" She says and I chuckled.
She went to bed and didn't even bother giving me dry bread. I made myself a sandwich and headed to bed. I tried touching her and she told me she is not in the mood. Imagine a whole married wife telling her husband she is not in the mood.
I let her be and slept.
I opened my WhatsApp and Matshepang's status was showing her in New York. She always wanted to go there ,I had promised her a few times that we would go but I never manifested it.
I get into our chat and a picture of her in a red lingerie is the last thing she sent me. She looks so frail and bone shocking skinny. What had I done to her.
I really messed up with her and she was such a great friend.I snap out of it when I hear Dineo scream upstairs. I run to our room and find blood on our bed and between her legs. I rush her to the hospital and we are told that we lost our child.
Dineo got discharged and asked to go to her family's home,she needed space she said and I understood.
But I was also hurting and wanted to help her overcome the pain ,but she said our house reminded her of what happened.
My year didn't start so good.
When I went back to work I lost five million over a bad investment.
My life felt like it was just spiralling out of control.

I woke up in with the love of my life.
Matshepang's POV
"I am in New York " I find my self saying in disbelief.
5th Avenue at Central Park s to be specific.
Yes am at The plaza hotel.
My man went all out.
We where jet lagged so had some room service and than slept.
I was so overwhelmed with joy.
Anyone who has known me knows how much of a childhood dream this has been for me.
I remember after I turned down the job opportunity this side Mpho promised to bring me but it never materialised. After I had caught him cheating a few years into our marriage he dangled the thought again, he went as far as making me form an Itinerary only for him to disappoint .Everytime after that when I tried booking it on my own. I was guilt tripped into how am managing our fund's badly.
" How do you like your view" Tshiles voice comes through as he finds me watching over the view to Central Park.
"It's appetising" I say looking at him in a towel dripping in droplets of water.
"I know love but was actually asking about Central Park " he says smiling
"What do you want to do first?"he asks getting dressed
"Please continue to surprise me" I say beaming with a smile.
"Okay today we will take it easy" he says
We went to The Metropolitan Museum of Art ,than the Met Breuer,Guggenheim Musseum was the last of our tour for our day as my feet where complaining.

I FaceTimed Basi, baby girl was just in tears of happiness,says I must come back with gifts .

We break out in laughter .
"Oh! Friend say thank you to Tshile he lifted a heavy burden off my shoulders, I had thought this is the gift I would give you on your 30th"she says
"Oh really, friend the way am in so much awe that I am here I think we should come on my 30th just to let it feel believable" I say

Today we did the tour bus and food exploring.
We had great meals and laughter.
Tshile got us a camera he was taking very beautiful pictures capturing this whole memory for us.
"I still can't believe you pulled it off" I say to him
He kisses my forehead .
"You know now I got the travel bug,I am going to want to do this so frequently " I say
"As long as I am by your side" he says pulling me closer.
"Where to next?" I say
" You name it we go love" he says
" I will think of it , for now just want to be here with you" I say
Days go by on our NYC Tour been driving my instagram crazy. Yesterday we did lady liberty it was so breath talking.We had to do the Empire State Building today,But I had fatigue,it wasn't letting me have a break.Tshile was so patient with me.
When I woke up.He took me for some retail therapy
Tshile and I had a steaming hot shower together.
He left me to finish up.When I finally got out , I found a gorgeous royal blue dress on our bed and a glam squad ,Waiting on me.
"Let's make our last night in NYC a memorable one Love K" it read I am smiling ear to ear.
The glam squad got me looking like a super star.
I was breath taking if I say so myself.
I was driven to the Empire State Building.
A candle lit dinner was set up at the roof.
"How did you manage to pull this one off?" I ask
His charming self coming towards me.
Glen Lewis starts singing from a corner I almost pass led out.
Tshile pulles me in for a dance.
Tears are streaming uncontrollably.
Am trying to not let them ruin my make up.

" If there is one thing am definitely sure about in life it would be how I feel about you. How I can't imagine my life without you in it, I have experienced it and it was not at all a nice place to reside in.
I want to grow old with you. I want to not only enjoy the good times but be there for the bad once also.
I want to be everywhere you are in every season.

I want to bring you flowers and take you somewhere with cloth and napkins and lights from fire candles.
