Hera Asteria Potter is the famous Twin sister of Harry.
But don't be Mistaken. She's not the one defeated the Dark lord at the age of 1, nor the one who bear the Lightning Bolt scar on her Forehead. She's not powerful because she has no power, no Magic.
She is famous for being a Squib.
She loved her older brother, she Met his Friends and they are all Lovely. She also met Sirius and Remus on the Summer to her 4th year on a Muggle Normal School near the privet Drive.
But even though, she was a little Jealous of her Brother. He got to go to an awesome Magical school, met a centaur, a moving tree, a unicorn, a ceiling with floating pumpkins on Halloween and floating candles.
But She knew she couldn't do that, she had no magic unlike her brother who was overflowing with one. Maybe that's why Petunia, their Aunt, endure her more than harry.
Because she doesn't show freakiness than her brother. Well, she wanted too if she could.
She was alone at the train heading to the countryside, away from the war from both side of two worlds.
Away from the wizarding war which a very powerful dark wizard that targets her brother and away from the war of muggle world where the Germans are evading London.
She sighed.
Even though she doesn't like the idea being part on her brother for a while until the war is over. They sent her away just so she could be safe from the danger.
Sirius growled at the thought and held her when her and harry were taken to the Grimmauld place for the first time after the terrifying situation where Harry got Expelled for saving himself and their cousin.
Remus, her Godfather, tried to give some ultimatum just to make her stay but Professor Dumbledore insisted that she'll be safe and sound on the muggle countryside, where the death eaters or even Voldemort himself won't locate her.
After the discussion, more like a tense debate, Professor Dumbledore won the game. He will sent me to Hillsborough, a Wizard Professor like himself was residing there and his manor was field with strong multiple wards and blood wards.
She doesn't even know what the hell wards means making Sirius and Remus drop their guard a little.
She stared the bright sky, illuminating her bright green eyes, wondering if Harry was safe and alright, hoping for the victory of their war.
She remembered two days before she was sent away, on their little House on Surrey, She shares a room with Harry. Her clothes are from Petunia's old Clothes from her younger years.
She was cooking their Dinner-and by meant their, just the three main ones. The scraps are to be given to her and harry, Vernon was sitting on his Chair listening to the radio while Petunia was seating on the arm of his chair with a summer dress.
Summer. Ah yes, her brother just got home from School a week ago and she was sad for him really. He just lost his friend in front of him. Whenever his brother scream all of the sudden in the middle of the night, she always cry while cradling him and tried everything to shoo the bad dreams away, just like what he did to her whenever she got bad dreams.
"Goosey Station! Goosey Station!" A loud hoot and screeching of gears made Hera to be pulled from her reminiscing and look at the window. She saw children being welcome warmly by their relatives or the people who opened their homes temporarily.
She open her book again and started to read the The Warlock's Hairy Heart from the collection of the tales of Beedle the bard that Remus gave me.
After a few hours she finally arrived. She went out the train with four other kids and stood at a train stop without a shed at all and a signboard that says 'COOMBE HALT' muddy road. She gripped at her trunk tightly and inhale and sighed as she then took a haste glance to the other kids with me.
The Tallest boy was holding the smallest girl with a hat. Beside the tall boy was a head smaller boy and beside the little girl was a tall girl whom an inch taller than me.
They all snapped their heads when they heard an automobile engine sound. They all ran down but Hera stayed on the platform and waited for a while.
The Automobile just run pass them, Hera thought that they must be disappointed, just like her.
Just then, a woman riding in a wagon pulled by a horse came. The four children tilt their head at the incoming arrival. Hera tilt her head and walk at the very edge of the platform, at the very top of the stairs.
"-and Woah, Woah..." The woman looked down at the four Pevensies.
Peter, The First born Pevensie and the Eldest of the Four looked at Susan, The Second Born.
"Mrs. Mcready?" He asked wavering. The Woman with Circular Glasses and was wearing a hat and a whip, raised her eyebrow.
"I'm afraid I was informed that there'll be Five of you" She asked. The four looked at each other with confusion.
"I believe I'm the fifth, Ma'am. I wasn't informed that I wasn't the only one though" a melodic mellow voice cut in. They all turned their heads on the Girl walking down the Stairs with Grace, making her short Slightly curly dark hair flow with the wind with a Brown Hat, like the youngest Child of the Pevensies, and her Doe-like Bright Green eyes that jewels paled in comparison, blinks adding her long black Eyelashes and high Cheekbones, dark clothes are emphasizing her pale skin making her look more regal.
She's Beautiful.
Yes she is, Beautiful and scarred. Hera smiled at Susan and Lucy who returned her smile warmly. While peter was hiding his blush and Edmund was starstruck.
"Is this it, then? Haven't you brought anything else?" She query. Hera shook her head while peter spoke after regaining his posture but his ears was still red.
"No Ma'am, it's just us" he answered.
"... Small favors" She said and motion to ride at the wagon. While on the ride, The Five Children introduced themselves to each other. Peter and Edmund Sat on the Left while the three girls sat on the right.
"Hi. I'm Lucy, by the way " The youngest said to her.
"I'm Hera" she answered with a smile.
"I'm Susan" the eldest girl answered.
"We have the same hair" Lucy exclaimed when she saw they both have short hairs.
"You're right, we do have the same hair" Hera giggled.
Susan and Lucy Liked Hera, sure, she's shy a little but she's very nice spoken and kind. Hera liked the Pevensies siblings, especially the two girls.
"-Come on. Good girl, Come on."
A huge house mansion came into view. When they entered a little further on the house, Hera Felt something. The kind of feeling whenever she went home from school, especially seven steps away from the front yard.
Dumbledore told her that she's a rare case squib, even though she can't do magic, she can feel it even just a little bit.
When they entered the Mansion, Mrs. Mcready run them down with few rules.
"Professor kirke is not accustomed to having children in this house. And, as such, there are a few rules we need to follow" she said as we follow her to the stairs.
"There'll be no Shouting. Or running. No improper use of the dumbwaiter-No! No Touching of the historical Artifacts!" Susan retrieve her hand in a haste and look at the woman with apologies in her eyes. Edmund Snorts while peter hide his laugh. Hera Jumped on the part where the woman raised her voice.
"And above all, there shall be no disturbing of the professor" She said and pointed the at the door at the second floor and turned right. She then lend us to their rooms.
Susan, Lucy and Hera Shared. Room together with two bed and beside their room is Peter and Edmund's room.
"Now, i will leave you for now to unloaded your luggage-and! Ms. Potter, the professor would like to talk to you, urgently" She said.
Susan and Lucy looked at Hera with worried in their eyes. Hera put her luggage down slowly and put her Black Long coat on her bed, showing her inner dress which is a White with Black Buttoned Waistcoat and Black High boots.
She followed the woman to a double door room and opened it just to reveal a large Library and an old man with silver rimmed glasses on his nose in the desk writing with quill.
The woman mention her to go inside. The man raise his head and stood up.
"Ahh Miss Potter, Come! Please, take a seat. Helen, can you prepare us some tea, please" he said as he motion her to the sofa right front of his desk.
"Good evening, professor kirke" she said and sat down.
"I was told by Albus about the situation on the... Well, you know, about the other side and about your brother" he said as he puffing a smoke he inhaled from his pipe.
Hera looked down and fiddled with her hands.
"How long... Will the war continue?" she asked with pure big tears threatening to drop.
Professor kirke heart ache at the sight of the little girl looking at him. He sighed and took the seat in front her and took her hand. He clasp it and covered with his other hand.
"I don't know, dear. But they are doing their best to stop the madness covering in both worlds." He said. After a long talk, he send her back to her roommates.
When she went in, Peter was listening to the radio and susan huffed and shut it off, peter looked at her while she give their youngest sibling a glance. they both stride and sat on the youngest's bed.
"The sheets feel scratchy" the youngest, Lucy said to peter, the eldest.
"wars don't last forever, Lucy." Hera interrupted earning a smile from both Peter and Susan.
"She's right, Lu. We'll be home soon" Susan said. a smile crept on Hera's face as she was unloading her trunk.
"yeah, if home's still there" a haughty reply came from the Youngest son, Edmund.
"Isn't it time you were in bed?" Susan said to him.
"Yes, mum" he said sarcastically.
"Ed!" Peter chide, edmund only Huffed. peter turned his attention back to Lucy.
"You saw outside, This place is Huge. we can do whatever we want here. Tomorrow's going to be great" he said giving a smile to his sister and sighed when Lucy looked at him reluctantly.
"Really" he said bringing a small smile to Lucy's lips. after that he bid off good bye to the girl's including Hera and drag Edmund away.
the very next day, a heavy rain came. destroying all hopes to have fun.
"What fun?" Lucy grumble under her breath before letting out a deep sigh making Hera giggle while reading her book.
the girls invited Hera to be with them in the Lounge, Susan thought to play a guessing game with the boys, Lucy was sitting by the window watching as the droplets fall on the window, beside Hera who was reading her book again.
"-Gas-tro-vas-cu-lar" Susan said. peter sighed.
"Come on, peter. Gastrovascular" she adamantly said.
"is it Latin?" peter asked.
"yes" Susan answered after glancing at her book.
"Is it Latin for 'worst game ever invented'?" Edmund smirk both him and peter snicker while Susan just glared at the both of them and slam the book close.
Lucy stood and walk to her older brother.
"We could play hide in seek?" she gaily said and prompt her arms to peter's arm chair.
"but we're already having so much fun" he said while glancing at Susan while Susan scoff.
"come on, peter, please! pretty please?" she said and wiggle her brother's arm and look at him expectantly. Edmund rolled her eyes while peter sighed.
"one, two, three, four--"
"what?" Edmund said with dissatisfaction. while Susan scoff before standing up and dragging Hera who was confused.
"--six, seven, eight, nine--" peter continue to count.
"What is going on?" she asked Susan.
"--eleven, twelve, thirteen--"
"Hide, Go!" she said and grin. Hera who was frowning put her book down and also ran to find a good hiding spot.
she ran around, opening a lot curtains to find a spacious space to hide. she found a room and hide in a dresser and wait for a while as she clamp her hand to her mouth. after a few minutes she heard a muffled voices and opened the door and heard voices not so far from her.
"what happened?" she asked. Lucy, Edmund and peter looked at her, Edmund sighed.
"weren't you wondering where I was?" Lucy asked in disbelief.
"That's the point. that was why he was seeking you" Edmund huffed and Susan came running in.
"does that mean I win?" she asked. peter sighed.
"I don't think Lucy wants to play any more" peter said to Susan.
"I've been gone... for hours" all their heads turned to Lucy.
"what do you mean by hours, Lucy?" Hera asked. Lucy then explained about a place called 'Narnia' inside a wardrobe in a spare room. they all looked at each other and told Lucy to lead the way. Susan opened the door and opened the wardrobe. she split the clothes apart and saw no snowy forest but a flat board, she frowned a little and knock on it. even Edmund went to the back of the wardrobe and knock on it.
"Lucy, the only wood in here here is the back of the wardrobe" Susan said. Lucy smile went stiff looking at her sister's eyes full of disappointment.
"One game at a time, Lu. We don't all have your imagination" peter sighed and walk away. Hera stood behind Lucy who was staring at her siblings walking away. Hera wanted to say something, but this is their business, she couldn't interject even if she wanted to.
"But i wasn't imagining!" she exclaimed.
"That's enough, Lucy" Susan said in firm voice.
"I wouldn't lie about this!" she cry out.
"Well, I believe you" Edmund suddenly said.
"You do?" Lucy asked in hope.
"yeah, of course" Edmund smirked while Susan and Peter frown at him.
"Didn't I tell you about the field un the cupboards?" he said and snicker. Lucy's eyes turned red and tears are threatening to fall.
"will you just stop. you just have to make everything worse, don't you?" peter chastise him. Edmund smile fell.
"It was just a joke!" he riposte.
"when are you gonna learn to grow up?" he lectured and Edmund glare at him.
"Shut up! you think you're Dad, but you're not!" he yelled and run out of the room.
"Well, that was nicely handled." Susan said in disbelief and run after to Edmund.
"But..." peter turned around to Lucy.
"...It really was there" she said.
"Susan's Right, Lucy. That's enough" he said and walk away. Lucy's head fell down and Hera felt sad for the Little Girl.
"Lucy..." she called.
"you know, i Believe you" Hera said. Lucy turned around and looked up at the girl with tears on her cheeks. Hera smiled and kneel down and wipe the tears to the girl's cheeks.
"You do? or You're just making me feeling better?" her voice choked.
"Mmh... Maybe, Both?" she said and smile.
"Do you want to hear something?" She asked and make her voice smaller.
"My brother attended a magical school, a school for students who can do magic" Hera said in whisper. her eyes widened making her giggle.
"How about you?" she asked.
"I was born with a little magic, so faint that it was almost nothing. but i was loved by my brother nevertheless, and i was spoiled when i met my Godfathers after years of separation" Hera continued.
"What happened?"
"Well, me and my brother lived with our relatives who hated us because my brother can do magic, and they hated magic and my Brother's Godfather was imprisoned because he was framed by an old friend and my Godfather are incapacitated to take us because..."
"because what?" Lucy asked.
"well, it's supposed to be a secret but... you won't tell to anyone, right? i shouldn't tell this to anyone though" Hera said seriously, no pun intended. Lucy gulped and Nodded her head.
"because... He was a werewolf" She whispered. Lucy Gasped.
"and Harry, my brother, His Godfather can turn into a Big Black Dog" Hera added.
"well... I haven't met any werewolf there... but I met a Faun! a very nice one! his name is Mr. Tumnus and he's my friend!" She said. Hera smiled widely.
"He sound's lovely. I would love to meet him someday, if I get the chance to go to... what was it called again?" Hera asked.
"Narnia" Lucy grinned and so is Hera.
"Narnia it is. let's go, do you want me to read to you my book? my Godfather gave it to me, he loves to read books" Hera said and stood up and open her hand to Lucy.
"can you keep everything i said in Secret?" Hera asked Lucy.
"are those real? everything you told me?" Lucy asked in reluctant with hope in her eyes. Hera smiled and nodded.
"Everything i said was real, I should have told you that he made aunt marge, our uncle's sister in a balloon and blasted off in the sky" She said earning a hearty laugh from Lucy.
"then I'll keep it a secret, even from Peter or Susan... Even Edmund" she said.
"thank you for believing me, Lucy" Hera said.
"Thank you for believing me too, Hera" Lucy said.
