|Fairytale – Straykids|

Sungie <3
> Eunwoo! I'm sorry for today :(
> I really wanted to text you earlier, but things kept happening
> Are you there?
> Do you think I can come by?
> I missed you all day and I have been feeling bad for leaving you so suddenly and without giving you an explanation
> I guess you are already sleeping.
> Rest well
> I'm sorry again
I wake up and I'm met with multiple texts from Han and 4 missed calls from him as well. I haven't even opened my eyes properly but I'm already trying to text him back. We agreed to meet tonight for our so anticipated first date. I have a few college things to do and for the rest of the day I'll be meeting Jiwoo and she'll be helping me to get ready for the evening.
Han seemed very down and sorry yesterday, so I spend the first 40 minutes of my day reassuring him that everything was fine and that I understood the matter. He explained that the emergency was nothing to be worried about, it was just things from the company, so I relaxed a bit and started my morning routine.
You know the usual, quick bath (that I should've taken last night but was so sleepy that I ended up not taking), brushing my teeth, brushing my hair, choosing an outfit and brewing my coffee while making breakfast. Today's menu: iced americano with yesterday's bakeries, that we both didn't get to eat. I cleaned my kitchen and ran to the campus - as per usual.
I knew my schedule was going to be tight today, I had one assignment to finish and then meet with Jiwoo, decide an outfit for later tonight – without knowing where the hell the date will be – and then get ready for the date before 8 pm.
8:30 am
I'm sitting in my college library starting my work. I'm caffeinated, and I was ready. I make a quick to-do list of things that I still need to finish for this assignment and start typing the information on the white sheet opened on my laptop until my phone distracts me from my goal.
Bling
I take a quick glance at the phone and smile at it, while grabbing it to read the text.
Sungie <3: Hey baby! Excited for tonight? I'll catch you at 7:30 pm. See you later, bye~~
Minus 30 minutes in my clock. I can do this, I'll have to.
12 am – Lunch
I completed my task and I'm now meeting Jiwoo at a small restaurant. Finally.
We will be having lunch first and then going back to my house to find an outfit. I have bought a summer dress the other day, but I'm having second thoughts about it right now... this will take longer than I anticipated. My indecision will only make things more difficult for me.
"I still think that the dress is cute, and you should wear it." Jiwoo argues, but I'm still doubtful. "But what if we go to Lotto World or something similar? Wearing a dress wouldn't be comfortable and he said for me to wear something casual."
"You know what, wear whatever you want, he'll like you anyways. And you are the one who'll have to feel pretty and confident. I want you both to kiss again!" Jiwoo says the last part with such a dreamy voice that I almost cringe at her cheesiness. I can't deal well with cheesiness, never had. In movies, I rather pass that part than have to watch it.
It's already 7:20 pm. Jiwoo left my house 10 minutes ago, as much as she wanted to see Jisung she knew that it could be awkward for him to meet her without a previous head up. That meet-up will have to be postponed to another day.
I ended up wearing a white crop top with a pocket that has a little heart embroidered in it, I then paired it with my denim mum jeans and my converse high. I decided to put on some make-up to feel more confident.
At exactly 7:30 pm Jisung calls me saying he's here and I leave my apartment to meet him. He looks so good that I forget how to breathe for a moment. My lungs ache for air but it's like they also forgot how to function. His wearing something simple, yet in him, it looks stunning. [a/n: just Han Jisung things tbh]
He's wearing some light-washed denim jeans with his kneecaps showing, while wearing a white t-shirt with a light pink and green coat on top, and with a pink (on his right foot) and a green (on his left foot) converse high. And just to make sure that I don't recover from him, he's wearing glasses and a white bucket hat.
I walk up to him and give him a tiny "Hi". My voice is not found. I don't know how to behave around him while he's looking this hot and handsome, and also cute? While I'm still trying to catch my breath, he makes the conversation for me - which I'm secretly thankful for, because I'm managing my own reaction to be as little as I can. Otherwise, I would be fun fangirling and drooling over him, but I remind myself that I need to behave.
"I'll be driving us, I thought that would be better for us. I will tell you where we are going when we get closer to it. In the meantime, we can listen to some songs. Here, chose what you want to listen." We are already sitting in the car when he gives me his phone to put music on. And because I'm a sucker for Stray Kids, and because I want to hear him sing to me, I put on Another Day. And just like I wanted he sings the song without me having to even ask. For me, this can be the date, but that would probably feel like a tiny concert for him rather than a date. What I mean is, that I could listen to his voice all day and night.
After some songs, from different artists, Han finally tells me where we are going.
"We are going to eat at this tiny and secret restaurant. I found it on the internet, and everyone says that is really good, so I wanted to try it out with you. Now can you please close your eyes for 5 minutes, I want the view to be a surprise." I frown a bit but close my eyes anyways. I don't want to ruin his plans on the first date, so I try too not to peak through his fingers.
"We are here!" I open my eyes and I'm met with a building. "This restaurant is at someone's house?"
"Yes, the concept is for you to feel at home while having food you wouldn't be able to have at home. Cool, right?"
"It is!" I excitedly enter the building, following Han to the elevator. When we reach the floor, Han knocks on a door and we are met with Yang Jeongin wearing an apron and inviting us to their... dorm? As we enter, we follow him to the table that is set in the middle of their living room.
"Welcome to Stray Kids restaurant. We are pleased to have you with us this evening. The appetisers will be coming shortly. Please enjoy each other's company." Jeongin says while bowing a bit and winking at Han before leaving the room. I'm still processing everything, and I believe that shows in my face. I'm stoic.
"Are you alright? Is this too much?" He asks worriedly, and I turn myself to him, so I can meet his eyes.
"I'm going to be very honest with you here, which is something I wouldn't do on any other first date. But you're my soulmate so you can feel how I'm feeling right now, there's no point in lying about it. I'm overwhelmed with seeing the members so close. I mean, I'm still a Stay after all. But I think that I just need to pass through this first-hand shock, and I'll be fine!" I give him a smile to reassure him that I mean what I'm saying.
"I understand. Then tell me about your plans for this weekend." I knew what he was trying to do, but I appreciated it, so I ran with it.
"I'm planning on doing some work in the morning, but I really want to go to this drawing class in the afternoon. It's in DongJak and it happens every Saturday. I've been trying to find a hobby to help me with stress and anxiety relief. What about you?"
"That seems really cool. I think you just gave me an idea of what to give Hyunjin for his birthday. I wish I could join you, but I have some work to do, and I promised Chan-hyung that I would hear his new song."
"Now that is very exciting. A new song. From Chan. I bet it'll be another bop." He laughed at my comment but agreed with me. Meanwhile, Seungmin came with the appetisers, followed by Jeongin who had the drinks.
When we started eating the food, suddenly a bang from the kitchen was heard and both our heads looked in the kitchen door direction. "Should we go see if they're, okay?" I asked and Han pondered about for a bit and nodded. We both walked to the kitchen, very carefully. "Why are we going so slowly, it feels like we're in a thriller movie, and next thing you know we are both stabbed." I whispered to Han, but he shrugged it off and started walking normally. I couldn't help it and laugh at him. It was so spontaneous that it made me laugh, for literally no reason. My humour is broken.
When we both got to the kitchen there was a whole commotion going on. Lee Know was scolding Changbin for putting the steak in the oven too soon. Felix was trying to make his brownies peacefully with Hyunjin's help. Bangchan was trying to calm both Lee Know and Changbin. And the youngers were just staring at the whole picture in the corner of the room. Me and Han stayed next to them and asked what was happening. "Well, Changbin decided to put the steak in the oven sooner than Lee Know wanted, and now they are both arguing because Changbin believes that Lee Know said for him to put the steak, and Lee Know is arguing the opposite. As to Felix and Hyunjin, they're just baking the brownies, while Chan is trying to calm those two." He explained while pointing at Chan. I nodded and decided to do something that I never thought I would do in my life. Well, nothing that is happening in my life lately has been normal either so.
I grabbed a spare apron that was standing in a chair and decided to help the boys.
"Okay, now boys, let's calm down. We have Han's soulmate in the living room waiti- What are you doing here?" Chan stopped scolding the kids mid-sentence, which made everyone shut up and look at me. Feeling like I was in the spotlight – which I hate – made me feel shy, but I tried my best to set that aside and continue with my plan. I grabbed the oven gloves and took the tray from it. I grabbed the thermometer from the bench to see how cooked was the meat.
"It still needs about 5 to 10 minutes in the oven. Were you planning on putting anything in the tray? Or can I put it back in the oven?" Lee Know glares one last time at Changbin and then smiles at me, answering my question. He's such a mood, and god his smile is so cute! My heart flusters with his smile, but I do my best to not be noticeable to anyone.
"I have to put the veggies and the potatoes. Thank you for your help. I'll take it from here, go have your date with Hannie." He then lowered his tone and whispered, so I was the only one hearing. "He has been too excited to get you on a date, go make that boy happy, Eunwoo." I nodded at him, but before I left the room, I looked back at him and whispered. "You know my name!?"
"Han wouldn't shut up about how beautiful it sounds." He rolls his eyes, but his smile gives him in. I smile at him and leave the room by grabbing Han's hand and making us back to the table.
"Sorry about them. Next time I'll take you to a proper restaurant. I was too nervous to go out and chose a restaurant that was comfortable for the both of us. And I thought that maybe if we were at the dorms, it would be cosy and-" I put my hand on top of his so he looks at my face.
"I love it here. The whole chaotic energy is funny and makes it even better. Thank you." I smile and he smiles back.
The food comes after some time, and we devour it. After some more talking, Felix's popular brownies come. And I swear I'm drooling at their appearance let alone the taste that I'm already imagining how it'll be.
Once I take a bite, I can't stop complimenting them. "They are so tasty. Now I understand the hype."
"At this point, I'm starting to think that you would trade me for the brownies recipe."
"Oh! I would, without thinking twice."
"Meanie." He says while pouting, while I only hear a bunch of laughing from the kitchen. Oh, they are listening to us. I laugh with them. "You all know that you can't be discreet, right? You can come from there." A queue of boys comes from the kitchen and they stand in front of us.
"We haven't presented ourselves properly. Han, come here." Chan says, and Han stands with them. Now all the members are gathered in front of me, in a line.
"2, 3, Step out, hello we are Stray Kids."
I can't stop myself from giggling and smiling like a little girl.
"I guess I should introduce myself too. Hello, I'm Eunwoo."
"Yeah, we already know everything about you." Seungmin says and I look confused at them.
"How come?"
"Han can be very talkative when he likes something... or in this case someone." I blush at Changbin's comment. I'm talking with my idols. OMG. I'm talking with my bias right now!
"But there is something that he won't tell us. And we really want to know." I look at Lee Know, who has a mischief face on, and he proceeds to ask what all the members what to know about me. And let me tell you, they seem eager to know it.
"Who in Stray Kids is your bias, and bias wrecker?" Oh, Han didn't tell them.
"I would love to tell you all, but since you all are so eager to know, why don't you try to guess? You can make two tries."
"Ok, let's go." Jeongin agrees first and everyone follows behind. They decided to write down on paper, so everyone can make their guesses without giving an advantage to the others. These kids are competitive, to say the least. While they are guessing, me and Han are talking on the balcony of the dorm.
We've been having such a beautiful night, and I'm really enjoying it. But my self-consciousness is doubting if Han is feeling the same way, after all, I just invited his members to join our first date.
"A penny for your thoughts?"
"Oh, sorry. I didn't notice I was spacing out."
"It's fine, wanna share what's on that beautiful mind of yours?" He says while looking at me with such endearing eyes. It seems like they are shining, and he's only looking at me... wow!
"I was just thinking that maybe I made you mad that I, basically, invited the members to our date. Where it should be just us and no one else. I'm sorry, I should've just said the names and we would continue with our date. I was stupid." Han closes the gap between us a little more, there is still some distance between us, but not much. He caresses my cheeks while giving me a small smile.
"Don't feel bad. If you wouldn't do that, they would end up getting on our date by themselves. Besides, you just made them happy that you interacted with them. I might have been speaking a lot about you, but they have also been eager to know you. I was actually going to ask you if you would like to have dinner with us tomorrow."
"Han Jisung, was that why you asked about my plans for the weekend?" He blushes a bit and nods at me. A big smile appears on my face immediately and I hug him. "I'm so lucky to have you."
"So... it's that a yes?" I nod and we both get inside to see if the boys have finished.
"Guys, Eunwoon agreed to come to have dinner with us tomorrow... so we will finish this game tomorrow. Bye!" We leave the room running, while I giggle in excitement and Han leads the way.
We get to his car and walk in. When we lock the doors Han's phone starts ringing and we decide to put it on speaker. "Han, what is this? Come back now! Where do you think you're both going?! I want to know! Eunwoo please tell us!" All of them are speaking on top of each other, while me and Han laugh a lot. After calming them down we ended the call and turned the radio on, just to fulfil the comfortable silence.
"The last stop of the date in here. Ta-da!" Jisung says while he passes the signal saying "Namsan Tower"
"You said you love stargazing, well we are going to attempt stargazing, and we can view the city full of lights."
The perfect end of the date. We are hugging each other, looking over Seoul while Fairytale by Stray Kids is playing in the car, in the background.
I look back to Jisung, and he looks back at me. This time I'm the one that makes the first move, and I clap our lips together. Involving us in a beautiful bubble of love. The kiss is gentle and it doesn't take long. Once we distance a bit, we lock eyes and I whisper so lowly that my words are almost caught by the wind.
"I really like you Jisung, I really do." He smiles at me and responds with another small kiss. "I do too, Eunwoo."
We spend the rest of the evening stargazing and making small comments about whatever we feel like.
I love it here.
