tw - describes disturbing images, violence

I wouldn't be opposed to it.

Opposed to what?

Kissing you.

THE KIDS PLUS NANCY and Jonathan walked into the Hawkins hospital, trying to quickly pass by the front desk lady who was talking to someone on the phone.

They were almost there before the lady stood up from her seat. "Excuse me. Where do you think you're going?" She asked, placing a hand on her hip. Nancy silently cursed before turning around. "Oh, um... I was just going to visit my grandma again." She lied. "And— and this.. this is my family." Nancy smiled ay the chocolate skinned lady.

The lady cocked her head as she surveyed the group, her eyes landing on Lucas and giving him a look. "Extended." He smiled at her. "I don't care who they are. You know the rules. Two visitors at a time." She said.

"Yeah, but—"

"Two." She put up two fingers before sitting down, putting the phone back up to her ear. "Girl, this child has lost her mind. She gone and brought a whole zoo in here." The lady complained to her friend on the phone.

The group decided to split up. The older ones going up to see Mrs. Driscoll while the teens stayed downstairs in the lobby.

The girls stood around a small table, looking at magazines, Lucas and Mike stood by the vending machine trying to find loose change in their pockets, and Will and Oliver sat on the chairs, talking to one another.

"Oh, come on. You piece of shit!" Mike yelled when the KitKat got stuck and didn't drop out. Eleven looked over, tilting her head to the side a bit making all the candy jolt forwards and fall into the dropbox. Mike smiled and looked over at her. "Thanks." He said. The girl just turned away and wiped her nose.

The two boys crouched to the floor, gathering candy. "Dude, I think that was it." Lucas whispered to him. "That was what?" Mike said confused. "The olive branch."

Mike's face scrunched up. "The what?" Lucas looked at him with a fed up face. "Oh, my God. You're hopeless." He shook his head. "Okay, I'll distract Max, get you an opening. And then talk go her. All right?" Lucas planned. Mike nodded in respinse.

Lucas began to walk over to the girls but Max grabbed Viola's hand before he could reach them. "Come here." Max said to her best friend as they passed a flabbergasted Lucas. "Are you hungry?" Max asked as they stood in front of the vending machine.

Viola looked at it and shrugged. "Could go for a KitKat." She answered, Max bent down and grabbed a KitKat bar, along with a pouch of skittles. "Uhm, can we talk?" The red-head asked as the too sat down in the hallway, alway from the other kids. Viola nodded, unwrapping the KitKat bar and breaking one bar off

"So, you know when we were having a sleepover with El." Max began, nervously tapping her finger against her thigh. "And I started talking about that night, after we had left from trying to contact Suzie?" Viola's heart dropped. "Oh, yeah." She muttered, placing the KitKat on the floor, the wrapper protecting it from the dirty tile. "Yeah, I remember."

Max nodded. "You said you remember what happened that night too? The night after hanging out with Dustin?" Viola nodded along, pulling on the bottom of her shirt while doing so. "I'm sorry. I was out of it, you know how I am when I'm sleepy I—"

"I wouldn't be opposed to it." Max blurted out, cutting the Lockeheart girl off. Viola turned to her with a confused face. "Opposed to what?" The brunette asked. "Kissing you." The red-head answered, also turning to face Viola.

"Oh.. Oh." Viola said, realization hitting her. "I.. oh." She couldn't speak, she was so lost. Max chuckled a bit, not taking her eyes away from Viola's. "I mean, obviously I wouldn't be opposed to it.." The brunette trailed off as the red-head got closer to her face. "at all.." The brunette's eyes darted from Max's sunkissed cheeks, lips, and eyes. Viola placed a hand on the red-head cheek, leaning in as well.

The squeaking sound of sneakers made them jump apart. Lucas turned the corner, "Uh, Oliver told me to check up on you guys." he said awkwardly. Viola nodded, tucking her hair behind her ears. "I'm coming.." She stood up from her spot on the floor and sped past Lucas who followed her figure. Max grabbed Viola's KitKat and her own candy before going after her.

Lucas turned as both girls migrated back to where their friends sat, a confused look on his face.

Viola frowned while she watched Max and Lucas huddle over a magazine.

Her mind started racing as she tore her eyes away from the two, they went to Will instead who was standing and looking at the light above them which was flickering at a very face pace. "What is it?" Oliver asked, standing besides Will.

Will's hand slowly went to touch the back of his neck letting Oliver know what was happening. "Is it him?" The Lockeheart boy asked just to make sure. Will turned to him and nodded, a horrified look on his face.

THE SCOOPS TROOP JOGGED down the stairs, away from this weapon the Russian's were working on. "I don't understand." Savannah said, keeping her eyes on her feet so she wouldn't trip.

Steve and Dustin told the girls they've seen the invention somewhere before. "Me ether. You've seen that before?" Robin asked the boys. "Not exactly." Steve replied. "Then what, exactly?" Robin said turning to glance at the boy before her eyes darted back down to her feet. "All you need to know is it's bad." Dustin said. "It's really bad." Steve added on.

"Like, end-of-the-human-race-as-we-know-it kind of bad." Dustin said as they got to the bottom of the stairs, turning to face Savannah and Robin. "And you know this how?" Robin yelled while Savannah's face dawned with realization. "Steve, c'mere." She motioned for him to walk over to which he obliged. Savannah turned her back to Robin and Dustin. "Does this have anything to do with, oh, I don't know, Eleven?" She asked frantically. He paused, trying to find an answer for her question.

"Um, Steve? Where's your Russian friend?" Erica suddenly asked. Steve and Savannah turned around to see the ground empty. "Oh, son of a bit-" An alarm blaring cut Savannah off. Steve ran towards the door, opening it and peaking out. Russian guards saw him and began to run towards the door making him slam it shut. "Shit." He muttered. "Go, go, go, go!" Steve grabbed Savannah's arm, pulling her after the group who were running up the stairs they had just came down from.

This time they ran through both doors, not even trying to be quiet. The Russian's turned around as the door swung open. "Go!" Steve said to a frozen Dustin. The curly-headed boy took off to the left. They ran down a set of stairs, pushing past more people, getting closer to the large laser thing. "Holy shit! Holy shit! Holy shit! Holy shit! Holy shit!" Dustin yelled stopping right where the machine ended and the laser began. "This way!" Savannah yelled before running down another set of stairs, pushing a guard out of her way.

The group ran into a random room, Steve closing it from behind him. "Sav! Robin!" He called, not being able to hold the door closed by himself. Savannah hesitated as he head began to hurt from the loud banging and yelling. "Fuck." She mumbled before reluctantly following after Robin, shoving her body against the door.

"Here! Come on, let's go!" Erica yelled, opening a vent. "Come on!" Dustin called to the three teens. "Go! Just go, get out of here!" Steve yelled in response, putting all his body weight on the door. "No, come on now!" Dustin said. "Go get help!" Savannah yelled at the younger boy.

Dustin hopped down into the vent, hesitating. "What are you doing?" Steve yelled. "Go!" Dustin hesitated again. "I won't forget you!" He yelled at his older friends. "Go!" They yelled at him.

Savannah's heart skipped a beat as Dustin slammed the vent shut just as the Russians broke through the door, sending the three kids flying into a wall. "Bastards!" Savannah yelled as she felt a scab open up.

BY NOW ALL THE kids had taken notice of the lights and were standing in a circle, looking up at the celling.

Oliver's eyes burned as he looked up at the lights before turning his gaze back to Will. "He's here." Will finally announced to the group.

"Let's go." Mike said. The group began to fast walk, past the desk lady who got up and yelled at them but they didn't listen. The seven ran over to the elevator, Oliver slammed his finger down onto the button repeatedly but nothing happened.

"Stairs." He said turning towards the concrete steps. They ran up multiple flights of stairs before stopping at the second floor. "Hurry! Go!" Mike yelled hearing a stomping sound. They ran around the corner seeing Jonathan ramming a fire extinguisher into a window.

The kids picked up the pace, Eleven putting her hand out as they made it to Jonathan's side. The brunette girl then launched the door forwards.

Behind the door was some kind of monster that looked bloody and gutty. Viola felt like she was going to puke. "Jesus!" "What the f—" Max was cut off by the monster letting out a large growl, then proceeding to charge at the group.

Eleven walked forwards and yanked her arm to the side sending the creature into the left wall, then to the right wall, then to the roof making it cave in. Then she slammed it to the ground.

It didn't faze the monster, it got right back up getting ready to charge at them. Eleven let out a large yell as she threw her hands up, the monster flying back into the window and falling out onto the concrete floor. "Go!" Eleven said.

Jonathan ran to Nancy who was in the corner of the room trembling, the rest of the kids ran all the way down the stairs, past the desk lady, past the waiting room and towards outside. The light continued to flicker as they did so making their eyes hurt even more.

Once outside they stood a good few feet away from the bloody, gut made monster, watching as it gathered together in a pile and slowly crawled towards the vent in the concrete.

Will's hand traveled to Olivers, taking a hold of it as he watched the slimy creature slip between the bars, leaving nothing but a few bones behind.
