DUKE'S MOMMA REACTION TO KHEUMANI'S FIRST PREGNANCY AND MISCARRIAGE.
FLASHBACK
"I got yo Chicken noddle soup , Ginger Ale, And Pedialyte" Duke said sitting the bag of items on the island as Kheumani walked slowly towards it.
Kheumani looked through the bag as she reached the end of the bag and frowned pulling the item out of the bag.
"A pregnancy Test, two at that. Why did you get pregnancy tests?" She asked picking up the second box.
"To see if your pregnant or not" He answered.
"I told my mama about the throwing up and she told me to buy pregnancy tests"
"I'll take them when I finish eating, you can drink a Emergen-C immune system but drink it hot" She said opening the can of soup poring it into a bowl.
"Why I gotta drink it hot"
"Why would you drink it cold? It helps way better if it's hot so you don't get sick"
"I got a feeling you ain't sick your pregnant" He said as Kheumani just ignored him, taking the hot soup out of microwave.
They both wanted a baby but Kheumani career just told a major leap and she was finally getting more Recognition which paused the baby topic back.
Kheumani ate the soup as she put the dish into the sink as she grabbed a plastic cup before grabbing the two pregnancy test, walking towards the bathroom.
Locking the door she pulled her shorts down as she peed in the cup as it almost filled to the top.
"Damn I drunk too much Pedialyte" She said looking at the cup as she sat it on the bathroom countertop.
She wiped herself properly before flushing the toilet and pulling up her clothes.
She read the back of the box then opened the two pregnancy test and lightly stuck them in the cup of pee for five seconds, before putting the caps back on the tests, laying them flat on the sink counter.
Poring the pee into the toilet as she throw the cup away flushing the toilet she left out the bathroom turning off the light. She walked back into the the living room seeing Duke sitting on the couch drinking the immune system drink in a mug.
"Is it hot?" She asked seeing him take small sips of it.
"Yeah this shit nasty" He said making her laugh.
"We have to wait 3 minutes for the results to come back" She said sitting in his lap with her face in his neck.
"I honestly hope your pregnant"
"What if I am? What do you think yo Mama gone say?" She asked.
"I think my Mama gone be excited for her first grand-baby"
"Really?"She asked frowning against his neck.
"Yeah my mama love kids, she always ask me and my brothers when we gone have kids."
"And what you say?"
"I always said I don't want kids, they too much to deal with
, but you changed that" He said before finishing the immune system drink.
"I'm glad I did" She said kissing his neck as he placed the mug of the coffee table.
"Stop tryna turn me on while we wait on this test, I'll turn yo ass pregnant for real"
"Try it" She said grinding against him as he rubbed her vagina through her shorts, causing her to moan.
Duke sucked on her neck as she felt her panties become wet and her body begin to heat up. She haven't had sex in 5 days because she didn't want Duke to get sick, if she was.
"Duke Please" She said pulling away going down on him unbuckling his pants before she could do anything else his phone rung.
Kheumani sighed as Duke grabbed his phone seeing it was his Mother FaceTiming him.
"It's my Mama FaceTiming me" He said as she got up off the floor before walking away as he answered the phone.
"Hello" His mother said.
"Hey Ma"
"Did she take the test yet?"
"Yea but we ain't look at the test yet"
"Can you go check?" She asked as he nodded quickly fixing his pants before walking to the bathroom seeing a Kheumani sitting on the toilet holding both of the tests.
She noticed Duke's presence and she looked up at him as he seen the tears running down her face.
"I'm pregnant" She whispered as Duke smiled widely as he took the tests out of her hand showing his Mother.
She screamed of joy making Duke laugh, but he noticed Mani just sitting their quiet.
"How you feel Mani?" His mother asked.
"I'm shocked Ms.Dennis" She said wiping her face walking over towards Duke hugging him.
"I wish you too the best of luck I'm proud of you Duke" His mother said wiping her eyes.
"Mama you crying?"
"Boy be quiet" She said making Mani laugh.
"Ight Ma don't tell nobody yet we gone make a appointment to see if it's for real"
"Okay call me later"She said before hanging up the phone.
"What wrong?" Duke asked.
"Remember when my mama said something about her almost dying when she give birth to me?"She asked as he nodded.
"What if that happens to me"
"Baby I'll be there for you the whole pregnancy and delivery to calm down"
"And what about my career?"
"You can still do your career but they can just edit your stomach"

"Hey Ma" Duke said as he sounded drained.
" Why y'all got the camera set up like dat what's going on." She asked with a worried expression on her face.
"We got something to tell you" Kheumani told her as her eyes bloodshot red.
"What happened?" She asked as their was a long silent pause.
"The baby didn't make it" Duke told her.
"What!"
"I had a Miscarriage Ms.Dennis" Kheumani said as tears came down her Face, Mani grew on to the baby overtime.
"A Miscarriage" His mother said with widened eyes as she sighed deeply.
"How did you find out?"
"I was in the bed and... I woke up with my stomach cramping really bad... I pulled the cover off of me and their was a paddle of blood in the bed" Mani stopped as she was shakily breathing.
"I called Duke's name and he came and seen it and called the hospital..... that's when the announced that it was a Miscarriage" She explained.
"Wow... I'm sorry Mani"
"Duke are you okay?"
"I hurts that can't have a kid"He said which made a insecure feeling come across Mani.
