"awwww look at my baby" i poke my lip out rewatching the video of raylon. He was with his dad in that video .
It's been 5 weeks since the whole ordeal, me and xavier was doing our shit co-parenting, we found him a school near zay house.
Xavier recently signed the lease to a new home a little closer to ours so he can be near raylon. We was kind of going with the flow when it comes to who gets raylon on what days, which i knew was gonna back fire on us eventually but for now it was gonna have to work.
Raylon was enjoying hisself with xavier, i can tell they grew real close, anytime i picked up raylon all he'd talk about his daddy. He also picked up some bad habits.
Me and jasani haven't talked since that day, mainly cause i blocked him. He tried to show up to my house the next few days but i would ignore him until he went away.
"raylon" i yelled from my room
"yea ma?"
"can you pass me the remote please" i pointed to the remotes that was on the floor
he sucked his teeth and picked it up, "i was in the middle of a mission ma"
"what mission boy" i laughed
"me and my friends was playing gta"
"now you know damn well you not supposed to be playing that, who even brought you it cause i sure as hell didn't"
he looked away then walked out the room, "raylon ima beat yo ass if i gotta get out this bed" i said loud enough to where he can hear me
"da got me it" i rolled my eyes, xavier literally never listens he spoils him too much. "facetime your dad for me" he went to his room to get his ipad and facetimed xavier.
"wassup nigga" raylon cheesed in the ipad, and i shot him that "ima whoop yo mothafuckin ass" look. i heard xavier laugh on the other side of the phone and say "wassup seed, fuck you doing". aw hell nah...
i snatched the ipad from raylon and put my face in the camera. "why you talking to my child like that? you teaching him all these bad words, got him played gta and he comfortable cussing around me. do you not see why he stay in trouble at school"
"mari-" i cut him off, "and i heard you be over there letting him fight his "cousins" , look xavier, i wasn't even gonna address it but we boutta have to talk about this atp"
"ramari he not a girl damn, you want him to get bullied or sum" i rolled my eyes and hung up before i got disrespectful.
"raylon, you don't wanna spend time with mommy no more?" i pouted
"i do... but ma i'm in da middle of a game" i sucked my teeth and layed back down putting the covers over my head. "whatever get outtttt, you just like yo damn daddy" and he really ran out.
i need a boyfriend or something, damn. incoming call from baby father
"ramari what i tell you bout that hanging up shit, iono if you did that with dasani or wusadi but you not boutta do it with me" i rolled my eyes at him for tryna be funny calling jasani that name.
"and who are you? you just raylon daddy not mine, you probably just called to argue"
"son... anyway i was calling cause i think we should have a family outing"
"what you mean family outing, i know you kinda slow so you might not be saying the right thing" i said laughing at myself.
he sucked his teeth, "you a clown foo, but let's go to the zoo, me, you and raylon... like today?"
i actually didn't mind that, i want raylon to experience being with both of us at the same time. "okay be here by 2, bye" i hung up, just to make him mad on purpose.
i laughed at myself while getting out the bed and tripping over my slide, "raylon" i yelled, i know he irritated with me, not that i care ..
"yes ma" he huffed running in my room with his headset on and controller in his hand. "nothing" i smiled. he whined and sucked his teeth before starting to walk away. "sike nah bubba, finish that game, me and yo daddy boutta take you to the zoo" i laughed
"okay" he smiled running out the room, too much damn energy. i started getting myself ready first, i took a shower, lotioned myself down, and put my outfit on. My hair was already straightened so i just took it out it's ponytail and used my hand to make it a side part with no part.
I went in raylon room and noticed he was still on that game. raylon had a bath earlier so i just went to his closet and picked out a bathing ape shirt, some star shorts with a bucket hate and his yeezy boost. "raylon come on now, i let you play long enough"
he got up from his little chair that was sitting in front of his tv and came to me, i lotioned him down and put his clothes on with a cute chain his daddy got him.
a few minutes later xavier knocked on the door and i opened it for him, " girl we is going to the zoo not the club, fuck you got on" i ignored him and walked out the door with raylon behind me holding that ipad of his. "sup dad" he nodded his head, but just looked dumb so i turned the other way and laughed.
"you is a goofball mari, all you do is laugh" he said as we walked to his car. i shrugged, "waitttt this the perfect lightning, lemme take a picture of you bubba. give daddy the ipad" he listened and posed, he was used to me doing this by now.
"you freshhhhh" i hyped him up, making his dust off the imaginary dust from his shoulders. i laughed and handed the camera to xavier. "take a picture of me" i moved to a different spot and he did as i said.
"looking too damn good" he mumbled under his breath licking his bottom lip. "ard let me take yo picture" i said taking his phone. "i'm not even dressed up but ard"
"yesssirrr baby daddy" i said making him cheese. "we just a fine ass family, what can i say?" he said grinning. "alright my crew lets gooo" i said looking back at raylon who face was in the ipad. "we taking my car so my crew lets go" i just rolled my eyes and put raylon in his car seat.
