Yes, I know I haven't posted in like five months or something, and I'm not going to make any promises, but here's another chapter.

Harry's POV
We got set back into the swing of things pretty quickly. I was back to chatting with Ron and Hermione with an odd glance at the new DADA teacher. Forgive me for being curious.
The teacher, Natasha Romanov or something, was quietly chatting with Snape. She had just said something funny apparently because Snape was laughing. Or she might have said something truly gruesome and disturbing. That sounds like something prof. Snape would laugh at.
Dinner carried on for a bit before we had to follow the heads to our dorms with the promise of our schedules and classes tomorrow. The first years looked around in awe at everything the castle had to offer. They were frightened a bit when the painting started talking, but that turned into pure fascination. We all headed to bed, tired from the long train ride and eagerly awaiting the following day.

The next morning we received our schedules. I scanned down the list of classes, my eyes quickly flitting through the days and times until I found what I was looking for. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday- Defence Against the Dark Arts; Teacher- Natasha Romanoff; third period. Friday- Defense Against the Dark Arts; Teacher-Natasha Romanoff; second and third period.
Well, I guess I would be seeing a lot of this Natasha Romanoff character.

My first two periods, transfigurations and potions, seemed to take hours. The bland droning of voices was getting to me, only explaining what we would be doing and what we should already know. As soon as potions was over, Ron and I ran out of the classroom in search of Hermoine. We met up with her in a little sunny spot near the quidditch field, a place we had found last year but never really thought to visit. With the war being over and us wanting no trouble with people, we thought that now was the perfect time to come and try it out.
We sat down on a patch of grass and pulled out our lunches. We chatted for a while, about our days and what we thought to expect with the new DADA teacher. Something about her name, Natasha Romanoff, placed a nagging feeling in my stomach. I felt like I had heard her name somewhere. I voiced my concerns to my friends and they agreed that they knew her from somewhere, but none of us could place it. Who was our new teacher? And why did her voice sound so familiar?

I know, this is short, but it was really just a filler chapter. I think I might start writing again, but I make no promises.
