Last night was amazing.
Daniel and I had an amazing dinner and relaxing bath before bed.
I hummed as I felt him kissing my neck.
"morning princess" he said in his husky morning voice.
"morning baby"
I turnt my head and placed a kiss on his lips.
He pushed a piece of hair out my face smiling down at me.
"you're so beautiful Z"
I blushed trying to hide in the pillow but he stopped me.
"and when you get all flustered its makes you even cuter" he said before attacking my face with kisses.
I squealed slapping at his back.
"Dani!"
After wrestling around on the bed for a few minutes he finally got off me.
I sat up and huffed.
"you messed up my hair" I pouted staring at the mirror.
"you look hotter" he winked.
I hit him with a pillow then got up.
Daniel whistled from the bed as he watched me walk to the terrace. I opened the door and stepped out breathing in the fresh air.

A pair of arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me back against their chest.
I smiled closing my eyes.
"I'm sorry you can't play football till next year" he said.
I chuckled.
"you're supposed to be glad that I'm not"
"don't get me wrong, I'm happy you're with me. its just that, you love football and being away from it might be hard"
I squeezed his hand in mines.
"as long as you're with me, I'll be fine" I smiled.
He tilted my face up to meet his.
"I'll always be by your side" he said his eyes not leaving mines.
I hope so
We headed back into the room and washed up.
I left him the bathroom as I finished before him.
I opened the suitcase and pulled out a pair of black jeans and a red blouse. I got dressed the did my hair and makeup.
Half way done Daniel finally comes out the bathroom.
"you look nice" he smiled.
"can't say the same about yourself" I teased pulling a the collar of his McLaren polo.
He rolled his eyes.
"for your information my fangirls think I look very sexy in my polo" he said spraying on some cologne.
"tsk I have to agree to disagree because you look the sexiest with nothing on" I smirked draping my arms around his neck.
"oh really?" He asked.
I hummed.
He winked kissing me again.
After our millionth make out session for this morning we left.
"morning lovebirds" Michael greeted us downstairs.
"morning" I smiled.
We got breakfast then headed to the track.
The whole car ride my phone was going crazy with messages from sports networks asking me to do an interview on my injury.
I sighed switching off my phone.
Daniel was watching me from the front seat.
"what's wrong?" He asked turning around.
"football shit" I mumbled.
We got to the track and got out.
Daniel held my hand as we entered. We waved at the fans as we scanned our passes.
"Zahra Ramos I love you!"
I chuckled.
"I love you too!" I yelled back blowing them a kiss.
Daniel laughed watching me.
We walked to the paddock.
Lando was already there and talking to Andreas.
"hello" I smiled.
Lando kissed my cheek hugging me. I fist bumped Andreas then went into Daniel's room.
"I'm at Merc today" I said.
He sighed.
"what's new"
I stopped him from leaving.
"I'll be rooting for you the whole time though"
"you better"
I smiled kissing him. He pulled away and we left.
"alright Norris let's go"
"don't think I forgot about your little prank yesterday" Lando said.
I started laughing.
Daniel stuck one of his stickers on Lando's helmet yesterday.
"don't kill each other" I said shoving them out the paddock.
I heard Alex was here so I was going to find him.
I got to Red Bull and it was as if he knew I was coming because he was standing right in front.
"how'd you know I was coming?" I asked hugging him.
"because you can't resist me" he winked.
I rolled my eyes.
"how's your neck?"
"better"
"George and Lando were acting like you died and Daniel was on the verge of having a mental breakdown" he chuckled.
"hey at least I now know how George and Lando will react when I do die"
He rolled his eyes shoving me.
I chatted with him till everyone came back from the drivers parade.
"see you" I said waving him off.
"bye Z!"
I got back to McLaren and snuck up on Daniel.
I jumped onto his back almost making him fall over.
"Z" he groaned.
I chuckled kissing his cheek.
"giddy up horsey!" I yelled.
He shook his head and started walking around the garage.
"you're such a child" he sighed.
"and you still love me"
"I do"
I squished his face and kissed him.
I went with him to do some media before we returned to the paddock so he could change.
As he was putting on his suit I was texting Callum. He told me to come hang with before the race start.
"bubs you done?" I asked looking up.
He hummed adjusting the sleeves.
I walked out the room with him.
He started to do some stretches as they got the car ready.
"I'll see you before the start"
"good luck kiss"
I chuckled kissing him.
"bye bye"
As I was walking down the lane I was joined by second half.
Lewis
I watched as the memories from 2008 started to fill him.
"can you believe I was only 8 when you won your first WDC?" I mumbled.
He chuckled.
"I still remember how Nicole ran out in the middle of the lane like a maniac"
I smiled.
I grabbed his hand in mines.
Toto was doing an interview with Martin Brundle down at the end of the lane so I joined him.
"everyone we're now also joined by Mercedes Ambassador Zahra Ramos" he said as I squeezed myself into the shot.
"just couldn't resist huh?" Toto teased.
I nudged him.
"what's your opinions on the rear wing?" He asked us.
"I-"
"they could keep it and cut it up into a million pieces if it pleases their panties" I cut Toto off.
He smirked.
"you heard her"
After answering a few more questions I left to go find Callum before he kills me.
"Illot!" I yelled.
He turnt around and smiled.
I danced over to him.
He chuckled.
"you're in a good mood" he said.
"aren't I always?"

We started walking to the track as everyone was setting up for the cars.
The DJ turnt up the music to get everyone hyped up.

I chuckled as he twirled me around.

There were 10 minutes till lights out so he went back to the hospitality whilst I looked for Daniel.
"bubs!" I called out jumping over all the tools.
He opened his arms for me. I walked into them and hugged him as he talked to his engineers.
I had my head resting against his chest as he rubbed circles into my back.
"you okay?" He asked.
I hummed.
He pressed a kiss to the top of my head and went back to his conversation.
"alright Daniel you got this" Andreas said walking towards us.
"thanks" he smiled fist bumping him.
He patted my shoulder then went to Lando.
I saw Toto walking back to the Merc so I took that as my cue to leave as well.
"alright, I'll see you after the race"
He hummed.
I gave him his usual good luck kiss then left.
I walked in and sat down beside Toto.
I grabbed my headset and put it on.
"he's got this" I mumbled.
"fingers crossed"
The grid cleared rapidly, leaving just 19 cars facing forward, with Kimi still in the Alfa Romeo garage.
Valtteri is the first to move, trundling down the short straight to Turn 1, with everyone else following suit.
I held my breath as they all lined back up on the grid and the lights started going out.
The final light went out and Valt hit the throttle and streaks down to Turn 1.
Max after another sluggish start gets motoring and is alongside as they hit Turn 1.

Side by side into turn 2 and Max got him.
"fuck!"
He moves into the lead, behind Lando.
If you thought Valtteri losing the lead was all that could go wrong, then you're wrong.
Lando and Carlos touched resulting in Lando getting a puncture and Valtteri ran wide allowing Sergio to pass through.

Lando's trying to limp back to the pits whilst Lewis has just overtaken Vettel and is up to P6.
When Lando reached the pits the mechanics struggled to get the wheel off.

Lap 3 Lewis made it up to P5 passing Carlos into turn 1.
Daniel on the other hand was sandwiched in P10 in between the two Alpines.
Lap 4 Lewis passed the other Ferrari and now had Valtteri ahead of him.
Yuki in the back had a collision with Lance and had parts of his car flying all over the track.
Lap 5 Valt and Lewis swapped places moving him up into third.
They then enabled a safety car meaning no drivers were allowed to overtake.
"tell Valtteri to follow me. we got this" Lewis said through the radio.
I smiled watching them.
By lap 10 the safety car left the track and we were back to racing.
Daniel was able to pass Esteban for P9.
I clapped my hands.

Not even a lap in without the safety car, a virtual safety car is enabled as Mick got his front wing stuck underneath his car.
Lap 18 Lewis takes a lunge at Checo.
"yes yes yes!"
but loses DRS
"no no no!"
One lap later he passed him.
I screamed jumping up from the seat.
"that's it Lewis!" Toto yelled.
"come on Valtteri pass him too"
Daniel was still in 9th and Lando was in 14th.
Lap 22 Daniel picked off Seb for 8th.
"yes baby" I mumbled watching his papaya car.
Lap 23 Pierre pitted allowing Daniel to move up one spot.
P7 baby!
Lewis tires weren't looking so good so Merc pitted him lap 27.
It was a early stop but we need to put pressure on Red Bull.
He comes out right behind Daniel.

He gets ahead as Max pits.
Valtteri's leading the Grand Prix once again.
Max was able to come out in front of Lewis as he had just cleared Daniel.
By lap 32 Max was leading. The gap between him and Lewis is under a second and Lewis has DRS.
Valtteri dove into the pits. Thankfully the crew didn't fuck up and he was out in no time.
Daniel also pitted and came out in 9th. He gets ahead of Pierre, loses the position then gets it back.
P8
Lando pitted for his second time lap 38. He comes out back in P17 and Daniel's fighting for his life for P8.
this is not McLaren's weekend
Max pits lap 41.
Nicky was already in the lane.
He pulled out sharply in front of Max slowing him down.

"call in Valtteri" Toto said through his headset.
I frowned.
"why? his tires are fine" I said looking at the monitor.
"trust me" he said.
I sighed.
Checo pitted lap 43 and Max was up in second with Lewis leading.
Daniel was still in 8th. I have to say that his defending this weekend has been amazing.
"pit Lewis" he said to Bono.
what is he doing?
Lewis came in lap 44 and Max was back in the lead.
"now the race is on" he mumbled.
"we just threw away and easy 1 2" Valtteri said.

Both of them were clearly not happy with the sudden stops. Lewis wanted mediums but they gave him hards.
Valterri let Lewis by so he could defend the other Red Bull charging from behind.
"why won't they undercut?" I asked.
"it's not powerful enough"
"fucking hell"
Lap 48 Lewis was close to getting Max.
He tries a move around the outside in Turn 4 and they both run wide off the track.
"he pushed him!" I yelled.
He clearly drove him off the track the fuck.
give his entitled ass a penalty
FIA noted the incident and was going to investigate it.
Lap 50 Lance retired.

"close the gap Valtteri in case Max is to get a time penalty" Toto said.
Lap 52 a papaya car came in and went back into the garage.
My jaw dropped.
"Daniel!?"
Lap 53 FIA announced that no investigation was needed.
"I'm done"
I left Merc.
scratch that
I flung off my headset, got into the Netflix peoples face and shoved the camera man.
...my bad
Max ran Lewis off the track.
period
I left the garage and went to McLaren to see what happened to Daniel that he had to retire the car.
I walked in and saw him sitting down in the corner with his bottle.
"Daniel"
He looked up and gave me a small smile.
I walked in between his legs and hugged him. I pressed a kiss to the top of his head before holding in his face in my hands.
"what happened?" I asked.
"lost power"
I sighed.
I lifted up his chin and kissed him.
"Qatar will be better"
He hummed rubbing my sides.
He pulled me down in his lap so we could watch the rest of the race.
Lap 59 Lewis finally got ahead of Max.
He was alongside Max on turn 4 he made the move stick on the straight before the corner and went ahead.
I screamed shaking Daniel.
he did it!
Valtteri was then told to go get Max by Toto now that Lewis was secured in P1.
Lewis lead out the rest of the race and won.
I felt my eyes water watching him grab the Brazil flag and wave it around.
"go to him" Daniel mumbled into my ear.
"no I'm with you" I said.
"Z I know you want to plus I'm trying to be nice to his mop looking ass today"
I chuckled standing up.
"I love you" I said kissing him.
He hummed.
I ran out McLaren and joined all the Merc guys as we made our way to the podium.
Lewis pulled up to his spot and jumped out the car.
I jumped the barrier and ran to him.
He caught me in his arms and hugged me.
"your a fucking beast!" I yelled shaking him.
I heard a muffled laugh from underneath his helmet.
He ran his hands through my hair.
"my Zahra" he mumbled.
I was about to flip up his visor when the team crushed us.
I chuckled and wrapped my arms around him so that I wouldn't die.
"that win was for you" he said to me.
I smiled kissing the side of his helmet.
