Part two!
The next day
*knock* *knock*
You drowsily walked over to the door and opened it.
"Morning princess!"
"Morning *yawn* Ashido."
"Breakfast will be served in half an hour. I'll escort you to the dining room this time."
"Alright. I'll start getting ready."
"I'll wait for you out here!"
You gave her a small smile before shutting the door. You walked over to your closet and started rummaging around for something to wear. You ultimately decided on a nice casual light aqua dress.
Ashido escorted you to the dining room. The royal family all sat around the table. You bowed.
"Good morning everyone!" You gave your fake smile.
"Morning Y\N. Have a seat by Katsuki."
You nodded and sat by the prince.
"It is quite a lovely day. I know the tour will go great!"
You nearly spit out your food. You had completely forgotten about the tour.
"May I ask for my knight, Tenya Iida to accompany us?" You quickly asked.
"If that is alright with Katsuki."
The said prince just nodded and continued eating.
"I'll be at your room in an hour." The prince stated after you finished eating. You nodded.
You walked into your room and started looking for something to wear.
"Hmm. Something comfortable. Something that isn't to flashy. And something I can hide a pair of pants under as well as my boots."
"Bingo!"
You grabbed a black dress with white and blue lining. You slipped it on, a pair of your favorite pants and your combat boots.
Soon a knock came at your door. You opened it to greet the prince.
Behind him stood Iida and Kirishima.
"Lets go." The prince muttered and walked down the hall.
Kirishima followed closely behind. You stood next to Iida.
"What do you think of him princess?" Iida asked.
"Y\N."
"What do you think of him Y\N?"
"I don't like him. He has a temper."
"You have a temper as well."
You growled. Iida raised his hands in defense.
"Sorry." He muttered as you continued to walk down the hallways behind Kirishima and Bakugou.
"No. I'm sorry. I'm still not happy about this whole thing. Father wouldn't have done this if mom was still alive."
"I know. But you have literally turned down every suitor that has been presented."
"They were all so full of themselves! All they cared about was how they looked. It was just pitiful. Not to mention not even half of them knew how to hold a sword."
"That is true."
You balled your fists up at the thought.
You had both tried to make sure neither Kirishima or Bakugou could here. But they did.
A little while later
"And that's the training center." The prince pointed out.
You perked up as you looked in the direction of a large wooden building.
"Umm... Can we go in?"
"Why?"
"Because I'm... curious."
"That's a lie, but I guess."
You mentally cheered. You walked into the building. There was a large arena area and a balcony that stretched all the way around for spectators. Bakugou started walking up the stairs to the balcony. You followed. You stood beside Iida as you peered down to watch the knights and soldiers train. Your eyes were practically sparkling. They were all quite skilled. Although you couldn't help but compare them to yourself. You were so much better than them, but you weren't going to say anything.
"Do you know how to use a sword princess?"
You turned to look at Kirishima.
"I suppose you haven't heard. Princess Y\N is the best in the kingdom. Sometimes I wonder why I was even appointed as her knight in the first place."
"Tenya."
"Is that so?" Bakugou stepped closer to you.
"I'd like to see that." He smirked.
"What do you mean?"
"You. If you really are so good, I want you to fight me!" He had a 'I'm the best' smirk on his face and you couldn't stand it.
"With pleasure. I'll wipe that smirk off your face with ease!" You growled.
"I would like to see you try."
"Let me get into something a bit easier to fight in and I will."
"You have an hour. Kirishima!"
Kirishima nodded and lead you back to the castle.
"Are you sure about this Princess? Bakugou is incredibly strong."
"Are you doubting me?"
"N-no!"
"Don't worry about it. I only just met you last night. How could you know?"
He sighed and continued walking.
'I've only known her since yesterday and I already know her and Katsuki are so much alike, its scary. That may cause some problems for the marriage.' Kirishima thought.
An hour later
You walked into the training center. You were wearing a white t shirt. and grey sweatpants. You peered into the middle of the giant room. Bakugou stood there in a different set of clothes, warming up.
"Alright! Is this gonna be a fight with or without quirks?" You yell asked.
"With!" He yelled back.
You grabbed a small knife from a table a little bit a ways. You cut two places on each of your arms. You look around the room for anything and everything metal.
"Woah! Did she just cut herself?!" Kirishima exclaimed.
Bakugou looked over to your arms, which were dripping with blood. He furrowed his eyebrows slightly.
"I don't like it either, but she needs to do that for her quirk." Iida stated.
"What is her quirk?"
"Metal manipulation."
"How does she need to cut herself for that?!"
"Watch."
Kirishima glanced down at the two. You and Bakugou had already got into fighting positions.
"Sh*tty hair!" Bakugou yelled.
Kirishima nodded.
"Begin!" Kirishima yelled.
Bakugou lunged forward. He used his explosions to blast him towards you. You stood your ground. Bakugou smirked, but that smirk quickly disappeared when he noticed your face. It was a completely calm expression!
A small smirk formed on your lips. Before Bakugou came to close, from your arms metal flowed out and in front of you, acting as a shield. Bakugou threw some explosions towards your shield. Barely even a scratch is made. You quickly formed a long metal pole. The training center had filled with smoke from Bakugou's explosions. You closed your eyes.
"There you are."
You hopped over your shield and aimed it straight at him. As soon as he noticed you, he moved out of the way. You quickly changed the direction of the pole. It grazed his side. He aimed another explosion at your face. You moved the metal shield to in front of you, blocking the explosion. This same thing continued. He would aim his explosions at you, you would block. You would try to hit him with the metal pole, he would dodge and try to blast you again. Then you blocked it. And so on.
You both stood in the middle of the training center. You were both tired, but hid it well. It was obvious you had both started to exhaust your quirks.
Bakugou lunged, this time without his explosions. You threw your pole to the side and moved the other direction. Bakugou landed where you were before. You kicked him in the gut. He stumbled back slightly. He came at you again. This time you jumped in the air and kicked him square in the face. Bakugou flew backwards. You got back into a stance, as he stood back up.
"Are you going to give up yet?" You shouted.
"No! Are you?" He shouted back.
"No!" You replied.
The fight dragged on.
An hour later, you both laid on the floor.
"You fell first. I say you lost." You stated out of breath.
"What?!" He yelled and shot up, immediately laying back down.
"Wow! That was one of the most intense fights I've ever seen!" Kirishima exclaimed as he walked over to Bakugou.
Iida came over to you. They both lifted you and Bakugou up.
"Are you alright princess?"
"I've had worse." You shrugged.
"Lets take them to a medic." Kirishima said.
"No!" You and Bakugou both yelled in unison. Then glared at each other.
"Give Iida some stuff, he can take care of me." You added.
"I don't need no doctor!" Bakugou growled.
"I guess I'll get some stiff and me and knight Iida can deal with you two.
Iida walked you to your room. You and Bakugou both glared at each other before parting ways.
Though neither of you will admit it, that fight caused and unspoken form of respect to form between you and the prince.
