Want your story to be featured in one of our reading lists? Look at the available reading lists on our profile and choose the one that best suits your story. You can submit your story through the form found at the very bottom of this chapter.
Before you submit
Reader-appropriate. Your work has to be properly rated. If your story is not properly rated, or contains banned content, your story will not be considered for reading list featuring and will be reported incase of banned content. If you're in doubt, consult Wattpad Content Guidelines for more information.
English only. All submissions must be written in English. Any non english submissions will not be considered for reading list featuring.
Profile suitability. Your story must somehow be connected to Teen Fiction. We accept stories written in multiple genres, as long as your story is connected to Teen Fiction.
Important notes
→ We're looking for original stories with good grammar and spelling, pay attention to those and make sure your story is understandable and accessible.
→ Incomplete stories are accepted, though they should be updated within the last month of submissions.
→ We only accept standalone, or the first in a series.
→ Your story can only be added to one Reading List on our profile so as to keep space open for other stories. With that being said, please carefully consider the options when deciding which list to submit your story to.
→ Submissions does not guarantee you a spot in any list. Your story will undergo a level of screening before a decision is made. This is to ensure our readers get quality stories for their reading experience.
→ Any submissions made in our PM, message board or comment sections will not be considered for reading list featuring, and will be ignored and deleted.
Reading lists
• Coming-of-age | Here you will find stories featuring young characters as they navigate challenges and experiences of adolescence. Involving self discovery and personal growth.
• Bad boy Romance | Here you will find stories that features romance between a rebellious character and an innocent or straight-laced character.
• Sports Romance | Here you will find romance stories within the context of sports. Where one or more characters are involved in sports.
• Fake Dating | Here you will find stories where characters pretending to be in a romantic relationship for some reason and which may eventually result in genuine feelings.
• Friends/Foe to Lovers | Here you'll find stories where characters are first friends/ennemies then end up catching feelings.
• First Love | Here you will find stories that centers around the first romantic feeling/relationship.
• DiverseLit Teens | Here you will find stories with diverse characters, of diverse race, ethnicity, culture, religion or socioeconomic background.
• LGBTQIAP Teens | Here you will find stories that adresses themes of identity, acceptance and love within the LGBTQIAP teen community.

Please be patient after a submission is made. You will receive a notification once we add your story to one of our reading lists.
If your story is rejected, take another look at your story for editing purposes, or continue updating your story incase you have few chapters published and submit again in a few months.
If submitted multiple times in a short period of time, it will only take longer for us to process the stories that are submitted to us.
