Wassup people. Really very very late with this update but what to do, I really was stuck with too much assignments. I was recieving a critic analysis that this story was liked due to it's medium length chapter and hence I have reduced the size of the chapters. This is just 40% of whatever I have written. If you like updates like this, I'll post updates like this or like the previous ones. You can decide on that.

Ragini was scared beyond words. Ever since she had entered the baadi, her thoughts revolved only around Lakshya. She had never seen him so weak and upon that he was not well . He was always a joyful man and the way he broke down in front of Advik literally made her heart cry.

She was regretting the decision of rejecting him because it really happened at the worst possible time. Sanskaar had Swara beside him to confront him and calm him. She could have been with Laksh. She wanted it, he opened himself to her but still the lack of trust on him made her so strong that now she was not even capable of breaking those walls she had built so that she could stand for herself and not fall for him.

Oh who was she kidding. She knew that she could never ever remove him from her heart and all the lies she was building up in her was eating herself and that was nothing but pure tragedy.

Today when she saw him weep like a little baby, all she wanted to do was to hug him and console him but she couldn't. He was staying in Advik's house and that was nothing but the rush of past memories back in his life. How would he handle it alone? Upon that he was very ill for the past one week. How would so much overwhelm affect his health? Would he fall sick again ? No . That was the last thing she wanted at that point of time so without any delay she informed Swara that she was going to Mathur house and left for it.

As she was about to board a taxi, a hand halted her. It was of Swara. Ragini looked at her but Swara entered inside nonetheless.

Ragini: Swara, what are you doing over here? What if someone realises that both of us are not at home? It would be nothing but events of chaos.

Swara: Ragini, take a breather. You seriously have to calm down. Well to your first question. You had just hired a taxi. You did not even tell him where to go. And look at the driver. He is still sitting in his place clueless as to where to go. Wait let me give him the directions and then we could jog back to your second question.

Swara gave the man the address.

Taxi : Oh no, this is very far away. I cannot take you here. It would take me ninety minutes from here and my wife and kids are waiting for me. Sorry beta but I cannot take you .

Swara convinced him a lot and agreed to pay a hundred rupees extra to go there. Finally the driver agreed.

Swara: Now coming back to your second question, I informed maa that I was really worried about Sanskaar and I wanted Ragini to be beside me so that I cannot break down while consoling him. So she agreed to keep a watch and she would cover for us if dadi tries to ask about us or something.

Ragini was really amazed by the way Swara handled things. She thankfully smiled at her.

Ragini: Now a last question, how did you get the house address?

Swara: Sanskaar, duh!(After taking a deep breath), Now if your questions are over , it's my time to interview you. So tell me Ragini, why are you so very eager to go and meet Laksh at this point of time? You are a girl who would never even go out even to check the doorbell and now you're going out ninety minutes from your house. That too just for your friend.

Ragini: Swara, you also know and this is a fact that I cannot deny in front of you that Laksh is just not my friend. I know that I love him. Convincing myself was easy before, when he was not into me. I would tell my heart that it's always stupid that it fell for a wrong man and that man could never ever return my feelings. But now things have changed, Swara. He likes me back and I can see the genuineness in his eyes. He really does have deep feelings for me. But he has broken my trust , Swara. No matter what he does, that trust is never going to come back in my life. He broke my heart not once but twice but there is something that could not make me push myself away from him. See, just look at Shomi Maa, she also loved papa dearly and once she came to know that he is a married man, she stepped away from him. She had you in your womb yet she chose to stay silent while she faced all the insults. Because then she was a mother not just a girlfriend or a lover. She had her self respect with her. She could not just let her daughter get the insults from dada ji and dadi maa though she could face the insults of other people because if dadi had insulted you from the time you were born, she knew she would hate herself for that and the worst she knew that you would hate yourself for being a burden in other people's life. That is the reason she stepped away from her loved ones. She kept it a secret for life. She did not reveal your true father's name against all odds. But when she came to know that papa slapped you as an ill mannered girl and called you illegitimate, that was her last straw. She lost her cool and lashed out at him and then told him the bitter truth of his life. She hid it for his well being but she also became selfish when it was the matter of her daughter.

For me also there is a limit to love someone Swara. The dam broke when he was hell bent on breaking our relationship for a pesky infatuation. And he realised that he was your buddy in what , twenty four hours? My heart is hurt and my self respect is at stake. I had trusted him once by giving my heart and he broke it yet I gave him the shattered pieces the second time and yet again he broke it.

Now he wants it back. What if he finds someone else as his new 'love' and he ignores me just like that. How fragile my heart is , you know it. And if he does it again, I do not have it in me to survive. I'll keep on loving him in pain rather than losing my sole life to live.

Things are just not hard on him. It is very tough on me too, Swara. His proposal came like a tsunami in my life. How can I live now? Knowing that he loves me too.

Swara : Ragini, I cannot tell you that I understand what is going on with you because I absolutely do not. You are the only one who's undergone the heartbreak and I cannot come in between like some kind of 'Mahaan' and try to solve your problem. It is your mess and you are trying to deal with it and I just want to tell you that no matter what I will always stand by you. We are Swaragini, unbeaten and undestroyable.

Ragini smiled at Swara's efforts of cheering her up and frankly , It was definitely helping. After giving her a nod, Ragini rested her head on Swara's lap and looked towards the side.

Swara looked down at her exhausted and frustrated sister. Back then she tried to understand what was happening with Ragini, but she could not. She had never fallen in love herself and hence she could not understand her problem. But now, she has Sanskaar. Sanskaar is her true love. She might not love him as Ragini loves Laksh but her heart also has very deep feelings for him. The postponing of their marriage was a sad thing for her to do, but she did it because of Ragini. She could not happily get married while her sister suffered in distress. Sanskaar also understood her point of view quite instantly but both of them really wanted to marry each other very quickly.

She knew the pain Sanskaar had been through. From hating his family to loving them back, it was a very long journey that they travelled together. If he had broken her heart , she would have been crushed and bruised beyond repair. That's one of thought she never wanted to have but she had to talk about the same to him because if not her insecurities would kill her.

While thinking about Laksh, Ragini's tears never ended. The thought of him having a slightest tear at that point of time was her main concern and she wanted to just be there for him. From Paradise to the Proposal, everything was happy and happening and ever since the proposal happened their relationship is nothing but catastrophe and chaos.

With thoughts as such both of them reached the house. They paid the driver an hundred rupees extra along with the meter fare and went towards the door. Ragini was about to knock at the door when Swara held her hand.

Swara : Are you mad or what? It is so late and you want to disturb the Mathurs. They are going to have some long days as they have to visit their son everyday so let us not spoil their sleep as well.

Ragini ( sniffing ) : Okay, what you told me makes sense. So what should we do? How do we let the boys know that we are here?

Swara: Let us go and peep into their room.

Ragini : But which is their room?

Swara : Oh my dumb woman child, look over there (pointing to a room), this has lights on. So let us go and check there. I am sure that they would be drenched in their memories so, let's go.

Ragini gave a smile and both of them headed towards the room only to get bumped by someone. That person was about to fall when Ragini held his shoulders to support him. The sisters tried to look at him but he had his head bent and body draped in a black dress. But Swara lifted his chin while he was balancing himself and both of them were shocked to see the person in front of them.

Swara : Bade Papa

Ragini : Papaji.

It was Durga Prasad Maheshwari. Shock was an understatement for what those girls felt at that point of time. What was he doing here? In a disguise. That was really a growing concern for them and they should somehow ask him the reason without angering him. Swara thought that this was the best if Ragini handled it rather than her. So she stepped back indicating everyone that the talking would be happening with the other two.

Ragini wanted to glare at Swara for throwing her under the bus but even she felt that it would be sensible enough that she started the conversation. Swara was their future daughter in law and she and Durga Prasad had started their journey on the wrong foot. So she did not want another scene in front of the house.

She heaved a sigh.

Ragini : Papaji, what are you doing here? I mean it's quite late and you are a person who always prefers to be on time for anything including sleep.

DP : I could ask the same question to you beta.

Ragini : Woh woh papaji, actually Swara wanted to meet Sanskaar. He was really worried and he wasn't picking up her call. So she asked me to accompany her.

Now it was Swara's turn to bore holes in Ragini's head. Though it was a logical explanation, she was getting thrown under the bus now. What if he asks for some affirmation or worse confrontation in front of the whole family.

DP : Okay, but I still feel that they are sleeping. If they are awake then talk to them beta or else do not disturb them. Both of them have cried themselves to sleep.

Both the girls instantly made a sour face at that. Both the brothers were so tough and uptight from the exterior and now they are so broken.

Ragini: Okay papaji.

Ragini wanted to ask the reason for DP coming here but then she could understand his dilemma. He knew how close his sons were to Advik and now reliving the past memories would have haunted them to no extent. So after bidding their farewell they made their way towards Advik's room after collecting directions from DP and then DP made his way out of Mathur house.

Both the girls made their way towards the window. The girls were weighing their thoughts. They saw a ladder that was placed against the wall whose higher end was resting on the window.

Swara: Maybe it was DP uncle. Come on anyways, it's to our advantage. Let us climb up.

Ragini: Are you sure?

Swara: Was never so sure as now. Come on. Let us go.

Saying this, Swara started to climb up. Before Ragini could say anything, she started to bang continuously on the window door that was open. Ragini widened her eyes in horror. They had to leave. The brothers had slumbered into sleep after a lot of crying and waking them up would accentuate their headache.

Ragini: Swara, what are you doing? Do not wake them up. Come on. Let us go.

Swara: I did not pay extra hundred bucks to see two cry babies who are now sleeping beauties. Money might grow on trees for the Maheshwaris but not for us. Don't forget that we are still middle class people and upon that I paid the fare and there is no way that I am going to let that down the drain.

She continued to bang the window door while Ragini shook her head in disbelief. Suddenly Swara was pulled inside. Seeing that Ragini also climbed up to see Swara laying on top of Laksh and he was vigorously moving his hands and legs unable to bear her weight. Ragini also jumped inside meanwhile Sanskaar helped Swara get up from Laksh.

Sanskaar ( yawning ): What are you guys doing over here?

Laksh: Exactly and by the way Swara, please do start dieting or else I am damn sure that Sanskaar is going to have a tough time picking you up if you faint during Karwa Chauth, Teej or Pregnancy.

Swara: Gadhe! You have zilch arm strength and you are trying to tell me that I am fat. (doing a twirl and in a dangerous mellow voice) Sanky panky, tell me na, am I fat?

Sanskaar gulped. He gave a murderous look to Laksh who simply shrugged his shoulders and turned aside. Ragini also shook her head in disbelief and while doing so her eyes locked with Laksh who was looking at her with intensity.

The eyes that were flooding with a whirlpool of emotions locked with each other blurring the surroundings for them. The emotions flew from his eyes in the form of tears, they tried to surface off his eyes but due to continuous crying in the past moments the tears did not dare to drop down.

Ragini looked at him and her heart clenched seeing him in such a dire state. The last time she had seen him like that was when he was ill and drunk and was sleeping in his own spew. Those red eyes filled with grief and pain filled her heart with pain as well. That state to see him yet again within a span of a week was not bearable for her. The tears that were about to spill were automatically controlled when she realised that she was here to support him and not weaken him, she held back her tears and turned his face away from him.

She needed a distraction. So needed to look at a source of entertainment and the only thing she could think of was Swara and Sanskaar's tiff. She turned towards them and saw them glaring at each other.

When she turned her gaze from him, Laksh thought that she did not want to see him. The sight of her turning away from him yet again really broke the pieces of his heart. He knew that he had broken her heart but he did not absolutely deserve this. Though he had broken her heart, he tried to help her. Genuinely. Today when he needs absolute help she turns her face. Yet he kept quiet. He consoled his bleeding heart that she would definitely have a reason to turn away from him. He also turned towards Swara and Sanskaar and saw them glaring at each other. Actually no, it was Swara glaring at him while he was giving her looks.

Swara (low dangerous voice): BABY!!! Tell me, am I fat?

She said that emphasizing each and every word.

Sanskaar: For the umpth time, I AM TELLING YOU, YOU ARE NOT LOOKING FAT. Don't make me repeat this over and over.

Swara wanted to continue but a nudge from Ragini shut her mouth.

Swara: Come on Sanskaar, let us go.

Saying this she dragged Sanskaar out of the Mathur house.

Ragini stared at the wall as she was unable to look into Laksh's eyes. She wanted to console him, hug him and tell him that this is all good. Times are going well for them. Advik is recovering. Everything would be fine. She tried to make eye contact with him but neither her eyes dared it nor her vocal chords made an attempt to speak with him.

Laksh was anxiously looking at her. He thought that she would try and console him and try to help him push him from his memories. Looking at her not speaking anything, he really did feel annoyed and betrayed. He expected some words of console and definitely not this.

Laksh : Ms Gadodia, I guess you can leave this house or you can wait here, I would like to sleep.

Saying that he went to the bed and closed his eyes. Dropping a text to Swara telling her that she would meet her directly at the Gadodia Mansion, she too left the room.

She was about to catch a cab when Laksh came out. She looked at him quizzically.

Laksh: There would be no transport available at this point of time. Come on, let me drop you home.

Saying this he took his car and sat down while she sat beside him. He revved the engine and the journey started in silence.

I  did not just do that. Oh god, such a bad person I am but you people don't worry. I will be posting another update preferably tomorrow or the day after because I know you would be hating me for this but this story would not have too much of drama as previously told. This is a light headed story and I will make sure that this stays this way.

Tell me your opinion on this chapter?

Who had expected DP to be here? I did not but my brain did HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

And what will Swasan do?

What will Raglak do? We seriously don't know. Let's find out. Until then
