𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗥�...

It's already past 7pm and we're in Donghyuck's room again because he said he hates people, especially when they bother him, and I agree.

Jaemin texted me minutes ago that he already left because his mom called him. As for Jeno, I don't know if he walked Jaemin home or not. But most probably yes.

I turn to my left side and I notice the gifts, that his relatives gave him, on the floor. I look at Donghyuck, who's eating a slice of cake, and tap him on the shoulder gently. He looks at me and tilts his head to the side.

"Why don't you open those gifts?" I even point at the direction where the gifts are located.

He purses his lips. 'Later.'

"Okay, if you say so." I move closer to him and put my chin on top of his shoulder. "Can I have some?" I ask, lips pouted, pointing at the cake.

He gets a piece using his fork and puts it in front of my mouth. I take it and happily chew. "Thanks, Hyuckie!"

'You're welcome, Junnie.' He grins and continues to eat.

I stay my chin rested on his shoulder while watching him eat.

Donghyuck's

As I finished eating the slice of cake my mom gave me earlier, I put the small plate and fork on the bedside table and sit properly, making Renjun gets his chin off my shoulder.

I face him and he's looking at me cutely. I smile and pinch both of his cheeks. "Ouch!" he whines yet he laughs, rubbing his cheeks.

I hold onto his thighs and look at him with straight face. He pouts, tilting his head to the side. "Why? Is there a problem?" he asks in a worried tone.

'I have something to tell you.'

"What?" He's playing with his fingers.

I take his hands, squeezing them lightly and stare at his eyes. I gulp and let out a deep sigh before speaking with my voice. "I love you, my pretty Renjun." I say slowly, emphasizing every words.

I see him widen his eyes and his grip on my hands tighten. He blinks several times and just stare at me.

It was so long I start to worry. "Renjunnie? Did I say something wrong?"

Still, he didn't say anything. He remains staring at me, occasionally gulping.

Oh my God. Did I surprise him too much?

"Junnie—" I cut my words off when he starts crying, pulling his hands back and puts them on his face to cover it. "Oh my, Renjunnie, I'm so sorry! Please, don't cry." I try to get his hands off his face but he's looking away. "You're making me worried."

I pull him into a tight hug and he almost immediately hugs me back, burying his face on my chest. I brush his hair using my fingers as he continues to sniffle.

What did I do?

After few enough minutes, he pulls away from the hug and messily wipes his tears off using the back of his palm.

"You okay now?" I ask.

He finally looks at me and nods, laughing softly. "I... I'm just so shocked. I'm so sorry for making you worry." He bites his bottom lip and looks down, "Your voice sounds attractive." he mumbles but I manage to hear it.

I chuckle and lift his chin, making him look at me. "Really?" I smirk slightly.

He nods. "I've never imagined your voice being like this. I'm so happy your voice came back!" He smiles widely, looking at me.

I flash a fond smile and trace my gaze through his face. From his shining eyes that look like they carry the entire galaxy, down to his cute small nose that I like to boop every time I get a chance, then to his soft and rosy cheeks that I like to squeeze like a bread, and finally to his plump lips that I always want to kiss ever since the first time I saw him.

I look at his eyes again and he stares back. "Can I kiss you? For real, this time."

He chews on his lips before nodding slowly, "Y-yes." He starts to close his eyes.

I lick my lips before leaning my face closer to his. I gulp and finally press my lips against his soft one. I feel like an electricity went through my whole body. I close my eyes when he kisses me back, snaking his arms around my neck.

I smile, holding his waist gently as I deepen the kiss. He smiles back as he brushes his fingers in my hair.

Without breaking the kiss, he slowly pushes me down, my back pressed on the soft bed. I lift his shirt slightly to carress his skin underneath and I hear the most unexpected sound coming from him.

Continue kissing him, I switch our position so that he's the one laying on the bed and I'm on top of him. I open my eyes and break the kiss first.

He pants, opening his eyes and looks at me with his eyebrows furrowed. I pant, smiling at him. He smiles back and presses our lips back together. But this time, it's just a short kiss.

"Fucking finally." he mutters, staring at me. I laugh and kiss the tip of his nose. "Even your laugh sounds attractive."

I chuckle, "Well, thanks."

I get off him and sit on the bed. He gets up and sits next to me. "Donghyuck,"

I turn to him and raise an eyebrow, "Yes?"

"I love you, too."

I bite my bottom lip to prevent myself from smiling. But I can't help it. "You're so pretty, you know that."

He giggles, "Can you call me that once more?"

"Pretty. Pretty Renjun. Pretty Injunnie." I lean to press a short kiss on his lips. "I should call you Injun from now on. It sounds cute and it's easier to pronounce." I laugh.

He nods, "I like it."

I pull him and kiss his head. "Can you believe we just met, like, three weeks ago? And now, we're already boyfriends."

He shakes his head, "I don't care. You're my soulmate after all. Either we become friends or lovers. And we chose the latter."

"That's right." I nod.

He holds my hand and kiss my right cheek. "Happiest birthday, Donghyuck!"

I kiss him on the lips again, to which he responds quickly and kisses me back.

Happiest birthday to me, indeed.
