A few moments had passed and then suddenly Trunks appeared with the radar in hand.
"It's good to see my little Trunks, you must be tired" Bulma smiled, happy her baby boy had returned safely.
"Thank goodness" Sibella smiled.
The kids then ran to Trunks side.
Trunks then held up the radar to Goku who was equally happy to receive it, Bulma then took it off him, ready to search for the Dragonballs when the time was right, then they could successfully wish all those killed back to life.
"When can we start the fusion, you didn't start without me did you?" Trunks asked.
"No, just talking about it, Kakarott here wants you boys to do it first" Raaz huffed.
Sibella glanced down at her little girl and she could quite easily tell what was annoying her.
It was clear she wasn't happy with how Kakarott was insistent that the boys were the main ones to do the technique.
Regardless, they made their way back to the pavilion where the children were training before.
The children stood in their designated pairs before Goku, paying very close attention.
"Now I don't have much time left, so we're going to need work hard and fast" Goku explained.
"Sir yes sir!" Goten and Trunks said in unison.
The girls however, kept straight faces and nodded.
Goku was surprised by the obedience, all things considering it may be due to what they had seen Majin Buu do, perhaps it triggered something in them to try and take this more seriously.
"First you need to realign your energy with one another" Goku instructed.
The boys agreed and turned Super Saiyan and began powering up.
But for some reason...the girls didn't.
"Girls, aren't you going to do it?" Goku asked.
"No" they said in unison.
Sibella was confused, but she may have had a sneaking suspicion as to why her babies were behaving this way.
"Why not?" Piccolo asked, equally confused.
"Well, you seem keen on the boys doing the technique, so what's the point" Lazuli responded.
She then proceeded to walk away with Raaz following close behind her, together they went to the edge of the room and sat on the floor, resting their back against the wall, casually watching the training before them.
As much as Sibella wanted to encourage the girls, she thought best not to force them. Afterall if their hearts aren't in it then it wouldn't be very successful.
"Girls-"Piccolo began.
Sibella glanced at him and slightly shook her head.
Realising he may be interfering he backed down, Goku also didn't say anything as he was limited to his time on Earth and had to progress quickly.
Moving on Goku continued to demonstrate the actions for the fusion...which were all too concerning.
It looked like such a ridiculous dance, Saiyan's prancing about like that...what the hell?!
Sibella and Piccolo had mortified expressions on their faces, while Goten and Trunks appeared quite nervous.
Through the demonstration Goku had continually explained how important each action was, from their feet positioning to the transition of their hands; and that they needed to ensure perfect symmetry with this, else the technique would fail.
Maintaining the same stoic expressions, the girls continued to watch on...despite actually feeling slightly embarrassed for the boys.
"Now it's your turn to try boys" Goku enthused.
"This should be good" Sibella muttered.
With that the boys stood ready and waiting, with pressure on their little shoulders, they only had 2 days to master this technique.
To help encourage this, Piccolo helped Goku demonstrate the technique, but they did not fuse.
Then the boys had to give it a try, but they had to try it without powering up, it was progressing VERY slowly, poor Goten was struggling a bit.
But the boys kept at it, but with truly little progress, they didn't appear to be able to mirror each other properly.
In facts at one point Trunks just stopped and flat out told Goku the technique was lame, of which Goku jumped to defend it.
Explaining that the people who taught it to him were some of the most powerful people in the universe.
The kids eventually backed down from insulting the technique but begged Goku to show them the Super Saiyan 3 transformation, believing that in seeing the technique that they would be able to defeat Majin Buu that way instead.
Goku reassured them, explaining that they should trust him when he says that the fusion is the best way to go.
Understanding what Goku was swaying, that didn't stop the boys from being disappointed, seeing this expression, Goku gave in and instead offered to show them the SSJ3 transformation this one time, so long as they promised to master the fusion after.
Overly excited the boys agreed with big smiles on their faces.
Raaz and Lazuli glanced at each other, maintaining the same expressions as before, before returning their attention to Goku.
All the children were fixated on Goku as he began to show the transformation, stage by stage.
The 3rd stage was such an enormous explosion of power, it sent everyone flying backwards, eventually the eruption stopped and Goku stood there, in the...less than flattering transformation of Super Saiyan 3.
However Goku could not sustain the transformation long, and powered down, falling ot his knees, Piccolo stepped forward in an attempt to help him, but Goku held up his hand, insisting he was fine.
"Now let's get back to work boys, like you promised"
The boys nodded in agreement, but sadly before they could start things up again...Baba the witch appeared, she came to inform Goku that his time was over, he had to return to the other world.
Goku turned to Piccolo.
"I'm trusting you both to pick up where I left off" he said.
He then turned to Sibella.
"You'll help too, right?" Goku smiled.
"I'll shall" Sibella replied.
With that, they all left the pavilion onto the open space of the lookout.
Everyone expressed their heartfelt goodbyes, as they watched Goku take to the skies and disappear.
"We need to get on with this, time is being wasted the longer you spend standing here" Sibella ordered.
She glanced at Piccolo, who was meant to take the reins on this training as Goku instructed.
Understanding her, he led the boys back to the pavilion, after a second embarrassing demonstration from Piccolo and Krillin they were ready to try again.
Assuming their same position the girls sat at the edge of the room watching the boys practice.
They did keep trying and were getting better, but it was painful to watch from the girls point of view.
After a little more time, Piccolo instructed the children to try the technique properly, it would only work if they were matching in power levels.
Ready the boys stood to attention, they made their way outside to demo before everyone.
Raaz and Lazuli were the last to leave, but before going outside Sibella stopped them.
"Girls, we need to have a little chat" she said.
In the meantime everyone gathered around the boys outside.
By the time they got out there, they were all blinded by a blue flash of light...wen it eventually cleared...everyone was...shall we say mortified.
"Oh my goodness..." Sibella gasped.
"Mother...that's not normal, is it?" Raaz asked, fearfully.
"No my dear, it is not, as I expected they did it wrong" Sibella sighed.
She then lead the girls over to where everyone else was...the boys had fused into an incredibly fat kid, which looked like it was struggling.
Everyone appeared to think however this was right...thinking that his form matched Buu so it would work.
"How could you all be so stupid, this isn't they way it should be!" Sibella yelled.
"It isn't...?" Yamcha replied.
"No, one of you must have done something wrong" Sibella added.
"She's right, Trunks, you extended your fingers at the wrong time, we need to try this again, alright you two, separate" Piccolo ordered.
The boys however were unable to do so, as they didn't know how.
So instead they had to wait for the 30 minutes to be up before they could try again.
While they were waiting they gathered around the little guy and asked him questions, he revealed his name was Gotenks.
Failed attempt or not, it was rather fascinating, it would appear that they had become one completely different person, their appearance was split between them, and his voice was a combination of them both.
The little girls continued to remain silent and not pay the boy much attention, yes they fused, but it was still wrong.
The 30 mins passed quickly, and once separated Piccolo wasted no time in getting the boys to try once more.
Sadly, the second attempt wasn't too great either, they ended up looking like a very old and skinny man.
So again, they had to wait 30 minutes.
"Honestly this is laughable" Sibella mocked once the boys separated.
"Now Sibella, they boys are trying their best" Krillin commented.
"You're joking, they are supposed to be Saiyans, this is just so sad to see" Sibella replied.
"What you saying Sibella?!" Chichi screamed.
"That your sons aren't fit to call themselves Saiyans" Sibella replied.
Both Chichi and Bulma became furious.
"How dare you!" Bulma yelled.
"You all need to calm down, we are all doing our best here" Piccolo interrupted.
"I don't think so" Sibella scoffed.
She then clicked her fingers, and all everyone could hear was "Fusion- ha!".
That same blinding blue light appeared, and they all spun around in great shock and amazement.
There before them...stood a beautiful little girl, with an enormous power level, Raaz and Lazuli had done the fusion technique perfectly on their first try.
Sibella beamed with pride, she knew her babies could do it, and with next to no training.
"Oh my god!" Piccolo gasped.
"Th...that's amazing!" Krillin yelled.
Goten and Trunks were also shocked but seeing this...made them want to try again.
The girls fusion form was rather pretty, she had their mothers eye shape, but their fathers' blue eyes. Her skin was tanned and she had black hair with light brown highlights.
So, while everyone's backs were turned, they did it again...this time, it was a success.
The boy was very much strong, slightly stronger than the girls.
"Wow, look at that guys, the kids all fused, this is amazing" Videl expressed.
"Now that's more like it" Sibella smiled.
"Perfect, this is incredible, now let us wait for the 30 minutes to be up, then you can both try it as Super Saiyans" Piccolo instructed.
"Yes" the girls replied.
"I don't think so, we're not doing this as Super Saiyans" Gotenks smugly responded.
Despite Piccolo's orders, the boys took to the sky, already feeling Majin Buu's energy they sped off thinking that the 30minutes they had would be sufficient.
"Good grief" Sibella and her little girls sighed.
"Alright um...sorry what is your name?" Sibella asked the little fusion of her babies.
"Razuli" she replied.
Sibella smiled and gently ran a hand through her hair.
"I don't suppose you wish to be the better warrior and go get those moronic boys back would you?" Sibella asked.
"Yes mother" the little girl replied.
But before taking off Sibella whispered into her ear.
"No need to drastically rush to their aid, a lesson needs to be learned here, but don't hand around either, we need you all back here to try this as Super Saiyans, understand?" Sibella clarified.
"We will mother"
"Great, now have fun" Sibella winked.
She watched her fusion baby take to the sky.
"And that's how you do that" Sibella smirked and proceeded towards the edge of the lookout and sat there, attempting to read where Gotenks was and if he had found Buu as of yet.
Only 10 minutes or so behind Gotenks, Razuli followed and hid in a cloud, she rested there, watching Gotenks try and fight Buu.
"This won't last long" she sighed and watched the events unfold.
As she did so, she saw that the effort the boys put in was no where near enough, even after they and cleanly cut off Buu's top half he was able to regenerate with not a single scratch on him.
And from there it got worse, Buu really laid into Gotenks, pounding him with punches and blasts right, left and centre.
It wasn't until Razuli saw Buu smash Gotenks into the side of a lighthouse pier and stood ready with a powerful energy blast did she decide to step in.
Recalling a useful trick Sibella had taught her, she suddenly appeared in front of Buu.
"You don't need that" she smiled.
Then kicked it out of his hands into the sky, Buu was shocked and confused, how did he not feel this girls' power?
Not wasting any time, Razuli used the power of Solar Flare to blind the area, in doing so she was able to grab Gotenks by the hair and fly back at rapid speed to the lookout.
Feeling the power of the children approaching and knowing her babies were safe and successful, Sibella stood up and walked over to Piccolo.
"Hope you're ready to continue, I think we've wasted enough time" she spoke.
Just then Gotenks came falling out of the sky all battered and bruised onto the lookout, Razuli landed gracefully and stood in front of him.
"Oh who the hell do you think you are- I nearly had him!" Gotenks screamed.
Razuli kept a straight face but rolled her eyes.
"Not from where I was standing, if I didn't step in, Buu would have killed you" she scoffed.
Gotenks began to get irritated and went straight up to her face.
"If you don't watch it, I'll kill you!" he screamed at her.
Razuli smirked and proceeded to headbutt him on the nose so hard, he screamed and fell onto his back, holding onto his face in great pain.
Everyone but Sibella and Piccolo reacted.
He wouldn't say much about it, but he was aware that the girls were handling this much better.
"Piccolo can I have a word with you?" Sibella asked.
Piccolo nodded and walked away from the group with Sibella.
In the meantime, Bulma and Chichi were tending to their son, all while Razuli went to sit on the steps of the lookout, waiting for the 30minutes to be up.
"What is it?" Piccolo asked.
"I don't see why my girls can't just take over, leave Buu to them, once they get the training sorted I have no doubt they can handle this" Sibella insisted.
Piccolo sighed and rubbed his eyes.
"Look so far they have proven to be the better student, and they have clearly demonstrated ability to do this"
"But...?" Sibella replied, irritated.
"But I think its best all the kids learn this, if one pair fall, the other will have to step in to fight, believe me I don't favour the boys, but they are stronger, they just need better control and discipline" Piccolo attempted to explain.
Sibella sighed and understood what he meant, she supposed it was mainly her pride that was getting in the way, and if she ignored what was being said, she may lose her babies.
Swallowing said pride, she agreed with Piccolo, and instead felt it was best to try and get the kids up to scratch.
Time passed and the children had finally defused, the girls were low on energy but everything else was fine. The boys however, were battered and bruised.
After a lecture and spank from their mothers, the boys joined the girls as they reported to Piccolo.
He explained to them that he had great faith, and that to win, they needed to not just be strong, but smart.
Trunks had realised that his father had lost his life because he was too brash and didn't think things through, thus leading to his death.
Feeling that the boys had learned their lesson, Piccolo healed all the children with his power, and reminded them they were descendants from a superior race of warriors, and that they had the power and potential to beat Buu and grow as warriors.
Rejuvenated inside and out, the kids were ready to try again, but this time as Super Saiyans.
Due to the potentially overwhelming power, they would do this one pair at a time. First up was the boys.
Ready, they stood beside each other poised, powered up and determined.
Once the dance was performed, that all too familiar blinding golden light illuminated the whole area, the fusion was successful, the boys had done it, and it was greatly impressive.
"Well, well not bad for the first try, its actually very good" Sibella smiled.
Thinking they were closer to controlling their power, Piccolo attempted to get them to test the level of their strength, however...events had repeated themselves.
Full of the same cocky behaviour- all too much like Vegeta it would seem- the boys took to the sky and sped off at insane speed.
"Oh for the love of God!" Sibella screamed.
Piccolo was going to chase after them, but Sibella pulled him down by his cape.
"Stay here with the girls, I'll get those morons back, and when I do they are going to get such a beating!" she screamed and powered up to her super Saiyan form and chased after them.
After flying for a few moments she stopped mid-air, she focused and saw they were flying all around the planet, wasting time and energy.
Sensing they would stop in the canyons she made her way south of her current location.
Once she arrived she had seen Gotenks resting on a rock, not a worry in the world.
"I'm losing patients with you, we are running out of time, you need to stop wasting so much of it. Get your arses back to the lookout now, before I kick you there" she sternly said.
"Can't you see how strong I am, Buu doesn't stand a chance, and besides you can't beat us either" Gotenks scoffed.
"You're not as strong as you think, and maybe Buu doesn't stand a chance- but you are still not ready to face him" she replied.
"You know what Sibella, you're right, I am wasting time, and I'm sorry, so I better make the most of it, and kill Buu now!" he boasted.
Once again he took to the sky, it would appear he was heading to Buu's location.
"I wish that boy would listen, he only has about 1 minute to spare" she sighed.
Her frustration and rage growing she followed behind them.
They had arrived at the top of a hillside that overlooked a barren wasteland, barren that is except for a strange looking white house that appeared to be in the middle of nowhere, it would seem Buu had made himself a house to live in.
But by the time Sibella arrived, the boys had defused once more, standing in their Super Saiyan form, pointing at the house.
"Get back to the lookout, I'll handle this" Sibella urged.
"But he'll kill you!" Goten cried.
"Should have thought of that before you ran off you stupid boys, now get out of here, back to the lookout now!" she screamed.
Terrified and aware they wouldn't stand a chance they sped away in fear.
Sibella looked towards the house and saw Buu pop his head out, and he didn't appear to pleased.
"You disturbed Buu's private reading time!" he screamed at her.
Suddenly he was standing right before her.
"Hmm, who are you?" he asked, confused, it would appear he either didn't recall or didn't recognise her in the Super Saiyan form.
"I'm Sibella, sorry to disturb you but I've been asked to deliver something for you" she sweetly smiled.
"What's that?" he asked, still confused.
"This" she replied.
She then pulled out a capsule and popped it open, from it came a large 5 tier cake.
"I hope you like this, I made it myself, I heard you like sweets and cakes, and I make them for a living" Sibella explained.
Buu was enticed by the delicious looking cake, and was all too happy to accept it.
Sibella thought this would be better than picking a fight she would likely not win, she had to think sensibily about this.
"Thank you, Buu like you, you want cake too?" he asked her.
Sibella became confused herself, it was odd that he was offering her some.
She smiled and hand the cake to him.
"You're very nice for offering, but this is for you, and I would like you to enjoy it, it's a present" she replied.
"Buu hasn't got a present for you" he responded.
"Maybe next time you can give one to me, but if you'll excuse me I have to go see my babies, they are waiting. I'll bring more cake next time" she sweetly smiled.
Buu took the cake and waved as Sibella took to the sky and flew away.
Buu was still confused and surprised to have received such a gift, with the cake in hand he returned to his house.
"Whatcha got there?" said a voice.
It was non-other than Mr Satan, who had suddenly become friends with Buu and was keeping him company.
"Girl came to give Buu cake, it looks yummy!" Buu beamed.
He set it down on a table and Mr Satan observed the chocolate signature on the side, he informed Buu that this was a special cake from the best baker in the country, and that he was lucky to have it.
Buu became even more happy and he offered Mr Satan a slice and they enjoyed the cake together.
Through it all he kept thinking about the dark skinned, blonde girl and hoped he would see her again, and bring more cake.
Relieved beyond words, Sibella bolted her way to the lookout hoping that the boys were there and safe.
"Can't believe I acted my way out of that one, but I must say...there's something different about Buu, I can't explain it...he really is like, well like a child" she pondered.
Unaware that a little seed of doubt had been planted in her mind, was Buu really a monster?
By the time Sibella got back to the lookout, Piccolo was scolding the boys, Raaz and Lazuli were walking around the lookout talking to each other.
Piccolo then proceeded to join Dende at the edge of the lookout, Sibella went towards her girls and told them what had happened.
"You gave him cake, but he's a monster" Raaz yelled.
"If I fought him, he may have killed me, I had to think on my feet, remember what Piccolo said, it's not always strength that wins a fight. I played it safe and I'm alive for now- I...oh my goodness" Sibella gasped mid-sentence.
Suddenly the girls realised why, they began to feel what she was feeling, something, something evil was bubbling down on the Earth, but what was it exactly, this terrifying new power.
Sibella and the girls ran to Dende and Piccolo.
"What the hell is going on down there?!" Sibella demanded.
Piccolo told her to put a hand on his shoulder so she could see, she did as advised, and she was in complete shock.
It would appear that the pink Buu everyone knew, had split into 2 personalities, the emotional struggle he had endured had manifested into an outer form, and this new grey Buu, was pure evil, and much stronger than the original.
Unbeknownst to Sibella, her babies were holding onto her lightly, so they could see what was happening too.
Suddenly everything began shaking, this was unlike anything they had known before, the raw power...it was haunting.
It would appear that pink Buu had lost the battle and was absorbed by the grey Buu, becoming a new Majin Buu altogether.
The little girls began trembling, this power, the events they had just seen, it was unlike anything they had ever seen, they actually pulled back and began crying.
Sibella felt a touch leave her and turned around to see her babies afraid.
She knelt down and embraced them tightly.
In the meantime, Bulma and Chichi had a fight with Piccolo, forcing him to allow the boys to bathe and eat and rest so as to gain their strength back, else they would not be able to fight when the battle came.
Having no choice but to agree, he let the boys do as their mothers said.
Feeling this was right, Sibella allowed the girls to do the same, and encouraged them to rest so they can try the fusion again.
While the children were resting, Sibella remained with Piccolo and Dende, looking over the Earth.
"Do we even have a chance?" Dende asked.
"I don't know yet, but the boys should put up a good fight, if they even bother training!" Piccolo screamed.
"Sibella, what do you think, aside from Piccolo you're our more advanced fighter" Dende asked.
"I couldn't tell you kid, all I know is my babies are scared- AH!" Sibella screamed.
Piccolo did the same, and with good reason...Buu had found them, and he was coming for them.
"Don't attack unless he attacks one of us first!" Piccolo ordered.
No sooner had he said that...did the monster appear on the lookout.
Sibella was scared at the insane and eerie look of this new Buu, and everyone around them, was equally if not more terrified.
What was going to become of them now that he had found them, time was up, what was their fate now?
