After the finals, the members agreed to gather in Kuroo's house to celebrate Christmas together. By the time Kuroo was done preparing himself, the doorbell rang. He quickly headed to the entrance to see Kurumi with rosy cheeks and nose. "Hey, Kuroo-san!"
Kuroo stood at the entrance in a daze as his mind was filled with how adorable she looked.
"Kuroo-san?" She called out to him in confusion.
He quickly snapped out of his daze as he let her enter his house. "You must have been cold!"
"It's really cold outside. I feel like it will snow soon," she said as she removed her shoes. "Am I the first one to arrive?"
When Kuroo nodded, she gave a look of surprise. "I expected Kenma to be first since he lives right beside you."
"That's the exact reason why he is going to be the last one to arrive," Kuroo laughed along with her.
Soon the members arrived one by one, filling his living room with joyful laughter.

Kuroo looked out the window and noticed how it was dark out. "Shouldn't you guys start heading home? You might miss the subway or the bus."
They all nodded and began to head out one by one. Soon it was only him, Kenma, and Kurumi.
"I'll go home as well," Kenma said as he stood up.
"I should be going as well then," Kurumi stood up along with him.
"I'll walk you home, Kitten," he said as he grabbed his coat and scarf.
She shook her head. "It's not like I live that far anyway. Don't worry about it, Kuroo-san."
"Let me walk you home. It's dark, I don't want something to happen," he insisted that she ended up nodding her head.
Kenma headed right to his house while Kuroo and Kurumi headed in the other direction, towards her house. Both of them were walking in silence until he noticed her shivering in cold. He quickly removed his scarf that was around his neck and wrapped it around her instead.
"K-Kuroo-san! It's okay!" She said as she tried to untie his scarf.
He placed his hand on top of hers. "I don't want you to catch any cold."
She glanced away from him with red cheeks either from shyness or the cold. Maybe both.
"C-Can we hold hands?" She shuttered.
Kuroo's eyes widened in shock but nodded his head immediately with a smile. He held his hand out towards her in which she placed her hand on top right away. When they held hands, he shoved them in his pocket to keep them even warmer. This was a good sign, right?

They continued to walk hand in hand when Kuroo felt something cold drop to his face. He glanced up at the dark sky and saw that it was snowing.
"Kitten, it's snowing," he said as he looked at her smiling form.
Both of them stopped on the track to watch the snowfall.
"It's the first snow," she said.
He nodded as he continued to look at her. It reminded him of what the girls were excitedly talking about in his class.
"Kuroo-san, have you heard of the myth about first snow?" She asked.
"Yeah, I heard that if you watch the first snow together with the person you like, you will be together forever."
She looked at him with a slightly surprised look. "Honestly, I didn't expect you to know about it."
He rubbed the back of his neck. "I heard the girls in my class talk about it."
She stayed silent for a while as she watched the snowfall. Soon she opened her mouth to continue. "Do you believe in that myth?"
"I want to believe that it's true," he said as he continued to glance at her. If it was true, then it means he can be with her.
At Kuroo's response, Kurumi glanced at him with her gentle eyes. "Do you still love me?"
"Of course," he replied without any hint of hesitation.
She smiled and buried her face to his chest, making his heart flutter. "Do you want to hear my response?"
"Y-Yeah, I do..." He said as he tried to control his nervous heart. With the way she was acting, it will be a positive response... right?
"I really like you. I never thought that I can feel like this to someone," she said. "I was really scared because of the reasons I told you..."
She then gripped his hand tighter. "You really know how to go into a girl's heart."
Kuroo finally got the courage to glance down at her. When he did so, she looked up to him as well with red cheeks and nose. She had a warm smile that Kuroo loves more than anything.
"I want to make the rumours true," she mumbled as she buried her face to his chest once again.
When Kuroo heard those words leave her mouth, the words he has been longing to hear, he felt like everything around him was shining. He felt like he could fly at any moment. He quickly removed their intertwined hands and hugged her tightly as he buried his face on her shoulder. "I'm so happy to hear that. I don't think I can even explain how I feel right now. I love you so much."
She returned the hug. "I love you, too."
When Kuroo heard those words back, he smiled even wider in the overwhelming happiness he felt growing in his heart. He can now finally call her his. After a few minutes of enjoying each other's warmth, Kuroo pulled away from her and held her hand. "Let's go."
She nodded before they continued to walk back to her home.
They soon arrived in front of her house and he couldn't help but feel disappointed. He wanted to stay with her longer, but he doesn't want to her catch any cold either. Her parents might be worried for her as well. They let go of each other's hand and Kurumi removed the scarf Kuroo lent her. She tiptoed and wrapped his scarf around his neck. "Thank you for lending me your scarf..."
Kuroo smiled. "I just wanted to make sure that you were warm."
She entered her gate and closed it before looking back at him. "Bye, T-Tetsu..."
Her face blush in shyness as she rushed into her home. At the same time, Kuroo was glad that it was cold out as he was able to cover up his blush when he heard her call his name for the first time. He couldn't stop grinning in happiness as he waited for her bedroom light to flick open. Once he saw her in her room, he began to head back home. His feet felt lighter than usual.

Kurumi crashed into her bed as her heart won't calm down at all. However, she quickly sat up and peeked out her window to see Kuroo's retreating form. She blushed as she remembers the event a while ago. She continued to peak out the window until she didn't see his retreating form anymore. Once he was gone from her view, she grabbed her phone and dialed Akaashi's number.
"Ume?" Akaashi picked up his phone.
"Keiji!" She called out almost excitedly. She took a deep breath and told him the news. "I'm dating Tetsu!"
"You made a decision?"
"Yeah... I thought about your advice and I thought I would like to give it a try since I like him so much..." She blushed.
She heard Akaashi chuckle. "At least you're happy. Just know that you can always tell me if he does anything to hurt you."

Kuroo glanced at his phone when he felt it vibrate. He was confused when he saw that it was from Akaashi. 'I still remember what you told me. I'm coming for your head if you hurt her.'
Kuroo felt shivers going down his spine when he read the message. Who knew Akaashi could be this scary?

Even though it was supposed to be their winter break, the club continued to have training after Christmas since Nationals were coming up. Thanks to this, the members found out about Kuroo and Kurumi dating in no time.
"Kitten~" Kuroo calls out as he hugged her from behind.
"Tetsu, you're drenched in sweat!" She said as she pushed him off of her. "At least go change before you hug me!"
Kuroo grinned at her playfully before letting go of her.
The members who witnessed this scene, stared at them then at each other until Yaku was the one who decided to ask. "Are you guys dating now?"
Kurumi blushed as she nodded while Kuroo had a proud grin.
"Wow! Congratulations! I never thought Kuroo-san will get a girlfriend though!" Lev yelled.
"Ha?! What does that supposed to mean?!" Kuroo yelled.
"Finally I can be free from his rambling," Kenma mumbled.
"how come Kuroo-san gets to have a cute girlfriend?!" Yamamoto cried out.
"Congratulations," Kai smiled at them.
"If he does anything funny, tell me," Yaku laughed. "I'll make sure to kick him to the other side."
