"okay, here you go."
the man said giving me my ticket, i grabbed it and walked to the bus. the bus took me back home, i had to pack anyway.
when i got home i quickly grabbed a suitcase and shoved some of my new clothes. then i grabbed a back pack and put my stuff in. i grabbed my things and raced out the house.
"good bye house..."
i said as i got on the bus back to the train station.
i'm really doing this...
i got off the bus and found my train to portorosso. i quickly got on, looking around genova for a moment as the doors closed and the train took off.
here i go... portorosso at last.

not long after i arrived. and boy was i scared, i haven't came here in forever what will people think of me? oh my, what about my parents!? i got off the train and took the biggest breathe in.
i'm home.
i walked around the train station and remembered this place well. this is where me and alberto said goodbye to each other for the first time.
i walked out the train station to see the beautiful streets of portorosso. i missed this place a lot. the cobble streets, colorful buildings... not that genova didn't have this but this was way more nostalgic.
i haven't lived on earth when i was little so all this is still a little new to me. living is all new to me.
"scusa!"
i lifted my hands up quickly, a little girl with a soccer ball ran past my legs.
i kept walking, i sniffed in the smell of beach and fish. a smell that would never get old.
then i saw it...
giuilas house.
"wow... okay i'm really doing this. okay luca breathe."
i said as i took a breath in.
"... no way you could!"
i looked behind me, this voice sounds familiar.
"mom!?"
the women stopped talking. this was my mom!
"luca? luca! oh my god its luca!"
she said as she ran to me and gave me the tightest hug ever. i couldn't even breathe.
"oh luca! we thought you'd never come to visit us!"
"i'm sorry mom... it's my fault i was just... i was scared of coming here."
"why!?"
she asked as she broke the hug and looked at me with tears in her eyes.
"i just... i don't know mom... i'm so sorry."
"awh, luca don't apologize!"
"i'm sorry..."
"no, no!"
she said hugging me again.
"let's go see your dad okay? he missed you too."
"okay..."
me and my mom walk into this nice looking home. looks like my parents got a house here while i was gone. it's so nice, and it brings me comfort when i enter.
"luca?"
i saw my dad, the same reaction came out of him like my mom. i mean it is my fault i haven't been here in forever. they definitely miss me.
"oh my, this is just... such a surprise. we really missed you here. oh! and alberto, he comes over almost every day to say hi to us. sometimes bring us some fish. he would always ask us to tell him about childhood stories of you. it was so odd but he's a good kid."
my dad said adding a laugh to the end.
"oh... alberto."
i said nervously.
"what? you forget about your own friend? he misses you more than us i bet."
my mom said.
"i... i got to say hi!"
"go do that! and come back here when you are done!"
"okay! i'm gonna leave my stuff here okay?"
"alright, come home soon."
"okay."
i said as i walked out the door and ran to giuila's house.
i took the biggest breathe in like i always do. i looked at her door. this also bring back much nostalgia.
"okay uh... silenzo bruno, remember alberto told you that? yeah... yeah see you got this."
i opened the door and knocked on the second door.
i closed my eyes, i was so nervous.
"luca?"
i open my eyes.
i hear a meow.
"massimo!"
"luca! oh my what a pleasant surprise! how have you been? what's been going on?"
"i... i have just been scared to come here for some reason but... i'm here now. and i'm pretty glad i took this decision."
"oh good!"
"so uhm, wheres giuila and alberto...?"
"oh! they just left. no idea where too but they left."
"oh..."
"wanna stick around for a bit and wait for them?"
"oh uhm, sorry but my mom wants me to talk to her. i'll be back i promise you."
"alright luca just don't forget about me too!"
"never! i'll be back."
massimo closes the door, i walk out.
"come on!"
i hear giuila...?
i look up and see her running on the roof.
"giuila?"
i say as i find a way to get on the roof. i go into giuila's house and get on the tree house and onto her roof.
i see her! looks like she's with... oh my, alberto. are they going to the telescope like she took me the first time? i had to follow them.
when i almost got there i heard there voices faintly.
"look, it's the full moon! gosh i hope luca is seeing this. it's huge! take a look alberto."
"wow, it is huge."
"was that alberto?"
i say to myself. he sounds so much older than before. i have to get in and say something.
"that's so cool, no wonder luca was so interested in all this."
"ooh! come on i wanna show you something."
"oh shoot... these coming!"
i ran away but i slipped on a roof tile almost falling off the roof.
"holy carp i almost died!"
i said to myself as i try to get back up.
"did you hear that?"
giuila says.
"yeah, sounds like maybe someone else is up here."
i hear alberto say.
"cmon let's go check it out."
alberto says running.
i quickly jump off and onto giuilas tree house. which by the way hasn't changed a bit. i sit down and take a breather. that was scary... why is it that i don't want alberto to see me? is it because-
i hear the door burst open. well shoot...
"that was so odd, maybe it was a kid."
i hear giuila say. they walk into her house.
"okay... i need to get off of here and... well i don't know what to do. wait does maybe alberto have a room here...? whatever! i need to do something."
i get up and suddenly i trip over the light wires, almost falling off the tree house. but when it got back up the lights turned on.
"oh my god why is this getting worse by the minute!"
i say as i try and get up from the floor. but i was too late, i saw giuila standing outside her room window. she was squinting looking out her window.
"luca...?"
