KIRA POV
I woke up to my alarms going off and slowly rolled myself out of bed. I walked downstairs and started breakfast. I heard footsteps upstairs, good, Justin is awake.
I could already feel the powers of the full moon. I felt more aggravated, more of a ticking time bomb. I grabbed some herbs and mixed them into three bottles of water.
"relaxat corpus meum cerebrum potest diminuere," I murmured, "relaxat corpus meum cerebrum potest diminuere. relaxat corpus meum cerebrum potest diminuere"
I watched the water glow bright yellow and then go back to being clear. I took a drink and instantly felt my entire body calm down. I closed my eyes and smiled, "thank god for this." I finished breakfast just as Jace and Justin walked into the kitchen, "goodmorning boys. Here's breakfast, oh and drink this. It'll help today."
They look at eachother and back at me, "what is it?"
"It's water," I smiled, "duh."
I took a drink and they followed. I watched the attitude in their faces change.
"What is this?" Justin asked.
"It is a concoction," I nodded, "a calmer, relaxer. With the full moon being tonight and you not having even part control of your anger, I figured you could use this."
"Thank you," he smiled, "I was going to ask to stay here today."
"Nope," I rustled his hair, "eat up! Then it's time for school."
I went upstairs and got dressed before heading back downstairs. I I went out and started my truck, setting my bag in the back seat. I walked back in and shut off all the lights, the three of us walked out and got in the truck. Alex jumped in the front seat a few minutes later and we headed to school.
I parked the truck and we walked in. Justin went to the office, I went to my locker to meet Jessica, Alex and Jace took off to only god knows where. I grabbed the books I needed for class.
"Hey girl," Jessica smiled, "have you ever thought about running for track or playing any sports?"
"No," I shook my head, "I haven't ever really been good at them."
"But that was before you had more control right?" she walked with me, "I bet you'll be one of the best now. Come on! Do something with me."
"Jess," I sighed, "sports really aren't my thing. Drawing, dancing, singing is my thing... running around for fun sounds like torture."
"Kira you are literally a wolf," she whispered, "and a vampire and a witch. Which by the way, how does the whole Vampire thing work?"
"I don't know," I shook my head, "I've read a handful of things but they all say I have to have blood on my hands in order to trigger the curse. Your mom unlocked it but it's up to me to trigger it. I don't want to kill though, I am not a killer."
"My mom has killed many and she still says the same thing," Jessica laughed, "well bad guys of course."
The bell rang and we said our goodbyes. I headed to class and sat down, pulling out my binder and pencil. Alex walked in shortly after and sat down at his desk.
"Hey can I ask you something?" he leaned over.
"Yeah," I whispered as the teacher started talking.
"Does Jessica seem okay?" he asked, "like she doesn't seem ... off ... does she?"
"What do you mean off?" I asked, "she seemed perfectly fine this morning."
"I don't know," he sighed, "I just have this fee-
"Mr. Stitch," the teacher said aloud, "have something you would like to share with the class?"
"No," he shook his head, "sorry."
She turned out and continued teaching.
"I just have a feeling," he whispered again.
"I will let you know if anything happens," I nodded, "okay?"
"Okay," he agreed.
I grabbed my water bottle and took a few sips before setting it back in my bag. I closed my eyes and breathed out as my muscled relaxed.
The hours went on and soon I was in my last class. The door opened and one of the people from the office walked in, "Kira, grab your bags. You're going home."
I looked at her confused and started putting my things away. I stood and walked out of the room and we started towards the main office. I walked in.
"John," I stopped immediately, "what are you doing here?"
"We have family vacation," he sighed, "how do you forget these things?"
He grabbed my arm and spun me around. We walked out of the building and got in his car.
"Pull any funny business and you will regret it," he snapped, "do not mess with me right now!"
I tried to grab my phone from my pocket but he grabbed it and threw it out the window. He started driving and finally after what felt like forever, we pulled onto a gravel road. He slowed down as we headed down the path. We pulled in front of a rather large building. It looks like it has been abandoned.
"Where ar-
I felt a needle go into my neck and I gasped, gabbing where it was inserted. My vision got hazy and everything went dark.
I woke up and I was in a steel cage. I looked around, not realizing where I was. I assume in the building we pulled up to. The sun was starting to set and I allowed myself to transition. My eyes glowed as I looked around. I heard a door open and shut in the distance, I listened carefully.
"Well," Johns voice echoed throughout the building, "what do we have here?"
The lights shut off, everything was completely black. I transitioned back to a human and threw my hand down to create a fireball for light.
"Why aren't you working?" I whispered to myself trying over and over again.
I heard John laugh, "you can't perform magic right now Kira. I have a circle around you. This strictly prevents you from performing your spells."
"Come out here and face me!" I yelled, "show me your face!"
I felt a sharp pain in my back causing me to fall on the ground.
"Don't yell at me!" he snapped, "you don't make the rules! I do!"
I felt another pain on my hip.
I heard banging all around me and I turned in circles trying to figure out where it was coming from. The lights came on and my squinted. I looked around once I was adjusted, not seeing a single soul in sight. I listened carefully, listening for heartbeats. I couldn't hear anything.
The cage door opened and I slowly walked out. I looked at the door and started running that way. I felt ropes go around my wrists, my ankles, and my neck. They all tightened at once. I fell to the ground as John walked out laughing and clapping his hands.
"I will admit," he smiled, "that was good. You really thought I would let you get away."
I watched as 5 other people surrounded me, each one holding the ropes that led to my fall.
"Now we are going to have some fun," he smiled as he walked over to a table, "you see, you are going to be my experiment."
"Go to hell!" I yelled out.
The rope tightened around my neck, causing me to stop breathing. John walked back over to me and injected the kanima venom into my body. I felt everything go numb. One of the guys picked me up and put me over his shoulder. He carried me across the room and set me on the ground again. They chained my body above the ground, spreading out all my limbs. My head fell as I tried to muster the strength to get away.
"There is no point," John smiled, "these chains have been lined with a special mix. You see, I have a witch on my side too. Werewolves are the reason her entire coven is no longer around. She's ready to payback the favor. You will feel all the pain during a regular transition, just without the transition. Look right up there," he pointed at the ceiling, "the moon is going to line directly up with that window. That is when your fun will begin. For now, I am going to go get some food. They are going to stay here with you, have some fun with you," he turned around making his back face me, "she heals usually very quickly. With the venom in her veins, the healing is much much slower. Do not kill her. I will be back."
He started walking and once he was out of the building the others gathered in front of me.
"I can't believe we have one," a woman said, "he was right."
"Damn right her was," another woman walked closer. She waved her hand in front of me and instantly I felt fire in my veins. I screamed out and she started laughing, "it doesn't feel so good does it?"
Once she moved her hand, the heat went away. I felt like my blood was literally boiling. My head fell back down in front of me. I felt electricity surge through my body, causing me to jolt around. I let out screams with every touch.
The witch waved her hand again, causing my mouth to shut. I tried to open it but was unable to. She lifted one of her fingers and pointed it at me. I watched a knife fly across the room and drive straight into my abdomen. My eyes bulged out and I cried out again even though I was unable to make sound. She walked over to me, "your kind killed all of those I loved. Your kind!"
She pulled the knife out and stuck it in me again. I tightened my fists and threw my head backwards. My breathing was harsh, rapid ... heavy.
"Does it hurt?" she asked, "I want you to feel the same pain I feel!" She pulled it out and struck me again. I felt the blood pour from my body. I watched as people lashed me with whips, stabbed me, electrocuted me and even set my insides on fire. I could barely move.
The door opened and John walked in, the witch waved her hand and I could breathe from my mouth again, "my my my what have we got here? You guys have been working hard on her." He walked up to me and started smiling, "how are you feeling Kira?"
"Great," I whispered, "thanks for asking."
"Good," he smiled, "because I have one more surprise for you." He turned and walked to a table, grabbing a syringe and walking back to me, "don't be too excited okay?"
He injected the serum into me and I felt my body start to shake uncontrollably. My eyes rolled back in my head and everything went white. When I opened my eyes again I was in the woods. I saw a woman running while carrying a baby. I watched as others ran after her. I followed. They cornered her in a fenced in area. I watched as a witch walked up and grabbed the woman who had the baby. Another took the baby from her as the witch lifted the woman to the air. Her hood fell backwards.
"Mom?" I asked, "mom!" I started running towards her and by the time I got close the witch snapped her neck. I woke up gasping for air and looked around frantically.
"What was that?" I asked quickly.
"That was a flashback," he smiled, "wasn't it nice? What a reunion!"
"You are sick!" I spit at him, "so sick!"
The witch drove the knife back into my body. I screamed out in pain, she pulled it out.
"The moon should show within a few minutes," John took a few steps back, "everyone grab their seats and turn on the water!"
John sat down in a chair and a few seconds later I felt cold water spraying on my body. I felt the goosebumps rise on my skin. I looked up at the window and watched as the moon shifted into position. Its light touched my skin and I felt my body try to shift. My bones started cracking and breaking. I let out a loud roar as my head went back.

JACE POV
The bell rang and I headed out to Kira's truck. I got there and stood around waiting for Kira. Justin walked up soon after me and stood outside with me.
"Do you know where she is?" I asked.
"No," he shook his head, "I haven't talked to her since this morning."
I looked around. Come on Kira, it's a full moon, where are you at?
Alex walked up, "what are you guys doing? Where's Kira?"
"I don't know," I shook my head and grabbed my phone, "I'll message her."
Me: Hey beautiful, where ya at? We are all at the truck
I set my phone in my pocket and we waited around a little longer.
"Something is wrong," I sighed, "I can feel it. Something isn't right."
I ran into the school and started searching. Justin and Alex looked with me.
Alex: Jessica got the truck started and you might want to come look at this.
I ran outside and to her truck, Alex walked over and handed me a smashed phone.
"It's Kiras," I said, "she's in trouble. We need to find her! I need to find her!"
I felt the anger rise in me and felt myself start to shift.
"Woah woah dude," Alex yelled out, "drink this! Drink it! Come on we need to get to the house so we can think."
I nodded while drinking the water. I got in the truck, as did Jessica, Alex and Justin. I took off to the house and when I got there, I ran inside.
"Kira?" I yelled while looking around, "Kira where are you?"
Once I knew she wasn't in the house I took off down the street before someone could stop me. I ran to her old house and ran in the front door.
"John!" I roared, "John where is she!"
I looked in every room but couldn't find him. I walked back to the house.
"Jace!" Justin yelled, "Jace did you find her?"
"No!" I roared, "I didn't! Do you see her!"
"You don't have to be a dick to me!" he yelled out, "I was just asking!"
I grabbed his throat and threw him into the wall. He stood and roared out before charging back at me. He made contact the two of us started brawling.
"Jace! Justin!" Alex yelled, "Stop! Break it up! Break it up!"
"Guys!" Jessica yelled out, "stop!"
I went flying threw the air and when I hit the ground I stood slowly. I walked back towards the house.
"Now knock it off!" Jessica snapped, "both of you! Kira is missing! We need to find her, right now!"
"Can you do a locator spell?" I asked, "Kira has done it before. Can you?"
"Yeah," she sighed, "go grab something of Kira's. A shirt or something."
I looked over as Justin was walking towards the house. I ran in and up the stairs, grabbing a shirt from her dresser. I walked back downstairs and gave it to Jessica.
"Now grab my hand," she said, "I have to have a power source."
She started murmuring words in a language I didn't understand. I watched her eyes close and I watched the drop of blood start to move along the map. It got bigger and then popped, spraying smaller drops all over the map. She took her hand away from mine and let out a sigh.
"What?" I asked, "What's that mean?"
"It means that in each of these spots," she explained, "Kira's blood is somewhere."
"I need to find her," I said as I stood, "I'm leaving tonight."
"Jace you will not be able to look in all these places," she said, "you couldn't."
"I have to," I walked out the front door, "Justin, lets go!"
I walked back in and down the basement. Justin came down and stood behind me.
"Where are you going?" he asked.
"No where," I growled, "don't ask questions."
"Where is she!" he snapped at me.
"She's everywhere!" I turned around quickly, "her blood is in hundreds of places Justin! I have to go find her! Now shut the hell up and get over here so I can go!"
"I'm going with you," he said.
"No," I laughed, "no you're not."
"She saved me!" he roared, "I promised myself I would protect her! She is the only one I've got! Now I am coming whether you let me or not Jace! If I have to break these chains then I will. But I am coming!"
I growled and looked at the ground. All I could hear was Kira telling me to just let him come. To relax. To be easier on him. I looked at him, "fine. But I swear I will kill you if you get in my way!"
"Deal," he nodded. He took off upstairs and I followed.
We walked outside I started the truck.
"Where are you going?" Alex asked.
"To find Kira," I said.
"I'm coming," he said.
"No," I sighed, "it's too dangerous. You can't heal like us."
"I am coming," he insisted, "she is my friend. Jessica is a witch, she can help us."
"It would be asking everyone to sign a possible death note," I shook my head again, "I can't let you guys do that."
"She is our friend too Jace," Jessica added, "I can help you guys."
The three of them got in the truck before I was even able to. I looked at them all individually and then got in myself.
"Fine," I said, "but we have ground rules."
We started driving and I got to the closest and first spot on the map.
"stay here," I nodded, "please." I got out of the truck and started to smell around. There's nothing. I looked back at them, "I don't smell her at all here."
"Then we move on," Jessica said, "her body isn't here. You'd be able to smell her."
"You said he blood was in every spot," I said, "I should be able to smell that alone."
"The map doesn't lie," she insisted, "it was here, but perhaps it isn't anymore."
"What would cause that?" I asked.
"Anything," she nodded, "an animal could have licked it. Someone may have walked through and got it on their clothes. It could be anything."
I growled and got back in the truck. We started driving again.
"The sun is starting to go down," I said, "me and Justin will need to run off to the woods soon. You guys need to drive okay? Keep the doors locked and don't open them."
"Why not?" Alex asked.
"Because I will probably kill you," I admitted, "I won't be able to stop myself. Neither will Justin."
"Oh," he nodded quickly with his eyebrows raised, "okay. Fair enough."
I got out of the truck and made Justin do the same. I locked the door before shutting me out, leaving Jessica and Alex in there. I turned and ran into the woods, Justin not far behind me. The moonlight hit me and I roared as my bones started to break. Soon I was full shifted and only was thinking one thing.
Food.
I looked around and started running through the woods. I stopped to breathe in the air when I heard a growl approaching from behind me. I turned and Justin walked out slowly. We circled around each other for a while before the two of us launched at one another.
