"How have you been? Is your mark acting up? What missions have you been on?" Lux asked Ahsoka quickly, seeming extremely pleased to be able to talk to her again.
Ahsoka laughed at his eagerness. "I'm fine Lux thank you, my mark as actually being well-behaved and I sometimes forget it is there. So far I haven't been on any more missions except this one which has turned out to be very unusual. These siblings have taken me from Anakin and Obi-wan so they are probably quite worried about me. They seemed to be interested in us however I'm not sure why. Have you been okay yourself? I think your meeting with Dooku was near, how did that go?"
"I have been rather well myself thank you. My meeting with Count Dooku happened about a week ago and it was quite boring up until the end. Dooku stayed behind and asked everyone but me to leave the room and asked me about you actually. I simply mentioned some basic facts and then he left. He hasn't caused you any trouble has he?" Lux had been mildly worried that Dooku would go after Ahsoka and when she shook her head Lux felt relief.
The Daughter however seemed to be getting very annoyed by this mediocre and tedious chatter. "NO NO NO! You have more important things on your mind and heart, share these thoughts with each other." She was ever so slightly shaking with a slight rage.
Her brother on the other hand seemed amused. "Come on Sister, I think their idle chatter is rather romantic. Do you wish for them to conceive a child here and now?" He asked her in mock sincerity as apparently the Son of Darkness had a sense of humour because his face cracked into a very small grin.
"WHAT?!" Ahsoka and Lux shouted at the two Gods in unison as both their faces quickly turned a deep shade of red and Ahsoka's lekku darkened into blackness. Completely avoiding each other's and the siblings gaze both Ahsoka and Lux contemplated what they had just heard. Neither of the were either ready or old enough to have a child plus they weren't sure whether humans and Togrutas were compatible. Lux and Ahsoka also remembered that these two Gods could have some influence over the future so them mentioning a child made both teenagers feel happy in a strange way.
The Daughter seemed eager to do damage control which was caused from the reavel made by her brother. "Please ignore my brother young ones, yes I do enjoy romance but I see no reason as to force ideas upon you both. In case you haven't noticed my brother is drawn to the Dark Side of the Force so his nature is to do what is selfish while mine is to do what is selfless. Any trouble he causes is within his nature so please don't feel like anything he says is a reflection of your future." Ahsoka and Lux weren't sure how that made them feel but seemed happy to get back to normal questions between them while the siblings oddly observed them.
Lux felt his cheeks cool down after the sudden outburst from the Son and felt brave enough to turn back to Ahsoka and make eye contact with her. "I'm curious, 'Soka, how have you come to know these beings? What do they do?"
Ahsoka good-naturely rolled her eyes at him and replied. "I told you Lux: They appeared out of nowhere and took me to this place where they contacted you. To bring me here they transformed into a black and red gargoyle and white and green griffen respectively and flew off with me. Why do you ask?" Ahsoka was intrigued as to why Lux needed to have confirmation of what she had already said.
"I've worked something out. Do you remember in the book there was a picture of you with a bird on your shoulder?" Ahsoka nodded, curious to see where Lux was going with this. "You told me that the Daughter turns into a green and white griffen. Before you summoned me I was looking at pictures of the book when the illustrations around you caught my eye. It appeared to be you but surrounded by the colours of the Daughter." Lux turned his head to the Goddess. "Daughter, can you turn into other creatures depending on your scenario?"
The Daughter and the Son seemed mildly impressed by something that the young Senator had mentioned. "That's very astute of you to work out my dear Senator. Yes, I can turn into other creatures depending on my situation and so can my brother. An owl is what I believe you saw, correct?" The two friends nodded and the Daughter continued. "A rat is one of my brother's most common forms while I tend to take on an owl when required of smaller tasks." She smiled at Ahsoka as it to say something but Ahsoka wasn't sure what it meant at the moment.
The Son took this opportunity to interject. "We have seen glimpses of your futures, apart and together, where our paths cross again. My sister does play a part in your future Ahsoka Tano and will be useful to you later in life. We are allowed to share this with you because as you two are bonded together in a 'Legat' it means you will have the ability to change... Impressions of people in society. Our Father though would disprove of our so-called meddling which is why we have hidden this meeting from him. However I believe it is time to say goodbye now, wouldn't you agree Sister?" The Son turned to face his sister and she nodded.
The siblings and Ahsoka started breaking their hands apart the spell began to break and Lux's image started to disappear. Ahsoka and Lux both felt a longing to remain together but fate wouldn't let them so they said their goodbyes. As quickly as it had appeared the blue ball of light vanished leaving only the three of them alone. The trio had accomplished everything they needed to but as the group went to leave the cave they felt a tremendous earthquake shake them all their core! On the horizon a bright blue beacon shot into the sky, illuminating the world around them. "Oh dear, I do believe our game is up Sister." The Son told them sarcastically while the Daughter turned an even whiter colour. "Father will be very angry with us for disobeying him." Ahsoka nodded vaguely as she senses the anger approaching them. She had a bad feeling about this...
I hope you quite liked this chapter. I enjoyed writing it. I'll try and update soon. Bye, bye.
