Day 8
Morning
Robert's POV
I had just buckled Wes into his car seat. We were headed to do DNA testing. Since baby Wes had already got his DNA swabbed with his mom. Today I would be going to get mine.
After the DNA SWABBING
The front desk lady had told me Jennifer had fast tracked the results so with in 24 hours I'd know something. She also told I'm like the 5th person that has came in with Baby Wes to get tested.
Back in the car
Andy's POV
Andy: Hey can we grab Starbucks on our way back home?
Robert: Yea, but first I gotta stop by the mall.
Robert pulled into a parking spot. Wes and I stayed in the car while he ran into the mall.
Robert's POV
I walked in the mall and went straight to one of the best jewelry shops around.
I wanted to get a remake of Andy's necklace that Jennifer had wrongfully threw away.
The guy and I had talked for about half an hour before we were able to get all the details straight. I couldn't wait to come back and pick it up to surprise Andy.
Monday Night
Andy's POV
Robert, Wes and I laid in my room on my bed bout to watch a movie. Before the movie could get pass the introduction there was a knock at the door.
Robert went to get the door. Leaving me and Wes alone. Wes smiled up at me. A few minutes later Robert came back up the stairs.
Robert: it's his mom. Can you take him I gotta grab his bag out my room.
Andy: yea
Robert went down the stairs first carrying The baby bags. Before I could even reach the last step. Jennifer had came and grabbed her son from my grip.
Jennifer: oh my baby I missed you so much.
Robert: I'm going to walk her out to her car I'll be right back.
Sullivan had gave me a kiss on the forehead.
I went to stand on the porch.
Out at the car
Robert's POV
Jennifer had just finished buckling Wes in.
Robert: Hey Jen I can't tell you how to parent, but my advice to you is go live your life. You're a great mother and Wes is a great kid, but you can't keep trying to drop him on everyone. Maybe it's time for you to find someone who loves both you and Wes.
Jennifer: Thanks. And most likely Wes is not yours. I just wanted him to be your son your a great man and I know Wes would definitely grow up to be great.
Robert: Thanks Jen, and whenever you need I'll babysit. But right now some alone time with the girl of my dreams is calling my name.
Jennifer: Hey Y'all truly do deserve each other. I'm here for Surrera.
A few minutes later
Andy's POV
Robert and I set in his room watching a movie, eating popcorn and talking In between.
Robert: Are you sure your dad won't mind us sleeping in the same bed?
Andy: One we're adults now. Two he's having him a date night with the neighbor.
Robert: Who?
Andy: Ms. Tina Nosa
Robert: Mr. Herrera still got it and she can bake. He got a good one
Andy: okay let's get back to us where do we stand after that kiss?
Robert: We're great friends who shared a kiss.
Robert's POV
Andy's facial expression showed 100% she didn't like my response but I knew that it was all leading up to tomorrow. Tomorrow was going to be a special day. For the rest of the night we didn't talk.
