A little girl no more than 5 years old ran around on Neverland playing hide and seek with the lost boys and her name was Lucy.

Lucy was the daughter of the king off Neverland the only light there ever was on the dark island. Lucy was loved by every lost boy in Nederland. She could get anyone to play with her and anything she wanted only by using her doll like puppy eyes.
Lucy ran around trees and bushes trying to find the lost boys who were hiding from her. She was the best at the game and she could easily find you. Sometimes the lost boys let her win because she would be so happy and tell Peter about how she found them or how bad their hiding spots were. Peter Pan loved his daughter with all the love he had in his dark heart. Lucy has been with him since the beginning of Neverland.
When Pan first came to Neverland he had two children, a boy and a little girl.
Neverland was a place where you would never grow. When he saw his children it reminded him that he never could stay young.
If Pan wanted to stay young he needed to sacrifice his son to the mysterious shadow and the girl would become the heart of Neverland. But we all know that magic always comes with a price.
Both Pan and Lucy's youth and life-force became contained in an hourglass, and should it run out, he and his daughter would die. So Pan began his grand search for the heart of the truest believer so he could save Lucy the only good he had in his life.
Lucy ran back to camp so fast her little legs could carry her. When she found who she was looking for she stopped. In front of her stood the person she loved the most, the one who would do anything for her.
"Papa, papa," she said happily and ran up to him and he embraced his daughter.
"Yes Lucy" He answered her and took her up from the ground and held her in his arms.
"I beat the lost boys in hide and seek" she said and you could hear how joyful she was.
"Oh you did?" Pan said and raised one of his eyebrows at her. "Are you sure they didn't let you win this time?"
"No I won. It's not my fault that they are bad at hiding"
Pan laughed at his daughter and he knew that lost boys let her win because they couldn't see her sad when she lost. She wasn't really sad when she lost. She just likes to play with the lost boy and make them feel bad for not letting her win. Lucy was like you would call a drama queen. She called herself the Queen of Neverland and it didn't matter to Pan what she called herself. For him she was his light and that was the meaning of her name.
