*At The Bhatt's*
Varun parked his car before getting out of the car along with Alia and heading to the front door of the house.
Alia realized that her keys were left in her backpack, so she rang the doorbell and a few seconds later, a housekeeper opened the door for them.
"Alia ma'am, what's wrong? Are you okay?" The girl asked her as she took in how Varun was helping Alia stand still.
"I'm fine Jhanvi, I was just tired a little bit and Varun here, a friend of mine, offered to bring me home." Alia gave Jhanvi a reassuring smile as she stepped aside to let them in.
"Hey." Varun gave her a polite smile.
"Hello Varun sir. Alia ma'am, would you like me to bring you something?" Jhanvi asked her.
"No, you can go. Thank you though." Alia smiled at her before she left, leaving the pair alone, "Okay, I'll go upstairs change into something comfy and come back. You can wait inside." Alia told Varun, pointing to the living room on their right.
"Okay, change and come down here as quick as possible. Then we'll go in the kitchen so that I can make you something to eat." Varun told her.
"Sure." Alia gave him a sheepish smile before heading upstairs, changing into a pair of shorts and a sized t-shirt then she came back down to meet Varun in the living room.
"Is the kitchen still where it is, or...?" Varun trailed off.
"It's still where it used to be, but I'll walk you so that no one notices that you know where you're going." Alia whispered to him making him chuckle as she led him to the kitchen where they found a few housekeepers sitting around. Alia asked them politely to leave and that if she needed anything, she'd call them and they left before Varun took his jacket off and started working on whatever he was making as Alia sat on a bar stool and watched him.
"So you know how to cook, huh?" Alia asked, looking at him in amazement at how he worked on his dish.
"Of course. When I was in London, I had to learn how to cook 'cause I didn't like to go out to eat all the time." Varun explained.
"Nice. So what are you making?"
"I'm making you a sandwich to eat along with a fruits juice to drink first because you didn't eat breakfast. Then I'm making a, pizza, I know you love it." Varun told her making her grin in excitement.
"Okay then, you go ahead and do you. I'm not gonna bother you." Alia sent him a smile making him chuckle before he started working on what he was making.
First he made the juice and sandwich and gave them to her to eat before he started working on the pizza, making two.
While the pizzas were in the oven cooking, Varun and Alia busied themselves with small talk until the food was ready.
"They're ready!" Varun announced as he checked on the pizzas.
"Thank God. Come on, bring it here, I love eating it while it's still hot." Alia jumped up and down in her seat in excitement like a small child making Varun laugh at her enthusiasm.
"Okay, but where do I put this one?" Varun asked her holding the other pizza in his other hand.
"Aren't we supposed to be eating both of them?" Alia enquired.
"I think one is enough for both of us, "Varun chuckled, "this one's for your sister's, I know they love pizza too. And if they find out that you ate it without them, they're gonna be mad." Varun added.
"You're right, well just leave it the oven and let's eat. I'm starving." Alia told him and he did as told before they dug in into their pizza.
"This is really good." Alia moaned.
"I am good." Varun smirked making her roll her eyes at him as they ate the whole thing and Alia's sisters came in through the door of the kitchen just as Alia was devouring the last slice.
"Hey!" The girls greeted them.
"Hi." Varun and Alia replied.
"Uhh- Alia?! Did you really eat pizza without us?" Shraddha looked at her sister suspiciously.
"Oh no you didn't. Come on guys, you know we love pizza!" Disha exclaimed.
"Couldn't you wait until we arrived." Kriti pouted.
"I swear Varun knows you guys so well." Alia laughed.
"What does that mean?" Shraddha asked.
"He told me that if you find out that we ate pizza without you, you'll be mad and that's what just happened. But don't worry, he made another one for you too." Alia explained.
"Thank you Varun." Disha launched herself at him for a hug as she smiled excitedly making her sisters and Varun chuckle at her being childish.
"Of course." Varun smiled back.
So you know how to cook?" Shraddha asked him.
" Yep." Varun replied.
"Anyways, where's our pizza?" Kriti asked them.
"It's in the oven. You girls go change and come back down to eat it." Alia told her sisters and they did as told.
"I gotta go now." Varun told Alia as they were left alone.
"Already? It's still early." Alia said, disappointed, as she didn't want him to leave yet.
"It's better before your parents come home and get the wrong idea or something. Also, I'm meeting the guys, so..." Varun trailed off.
"Okay then, as you wish." Alia stood up to walk him to the door.
Varun took his jacket from where he'd put it on one of the chairs and put it on just as the girls came back down.
"Bye girls." Varun smiled at them as he gave each one of them a small hug.
"Bye." The girls replied before heading to take their pizza out of the oven to eat it.
"I'll walk you out." Alia told him before she led the way outside to the front doors.
"I'll see you later, I guess." Varun turned to look at her.
"Thank you Varun," Alia wrapped her as around him in a hug, "For everything." She added as he wrapped his arms around her too.
"I didn't do anything, stop thanking me." Varun fake-scolded her as they pulled away making her smile mischievously.
"Bye, I'll see you next week I guess." Alia smiled at him.
"Bye." Varun returned the smile before heading towards his car, getting in and driving off as Alia closed the door and went back inside to the kitchen where he sisters were.
"So... What happened between you guys when we weren't here?" Shraddha asked, raising her eyebrows amusedly.
"What do you mean?" Alia asked her, playing dumb.
"Alia, don't play dumb. You know pretty well what she means." Disha rolled her eyes at her sister's failed attempt at playing oblivious.
"Yeah, tell us what happened before we got here. Also, you guys were alone in here." Kriti raised her eyes suggestively.
"Oh cut the bullshit, nothing happened. We got here, I changed my clothes then came down and sat here while he made the pizzas. And then we ate and after that you guys came." Alia sighed.
"Okay, this we understand. But what about Katrina's hug at college and what was she whispering in your ear?" Shraddha enquired.
"Nothing big, she was just thanking me for the chocolate I sent her yesterday with Varun." Alia replied.
"Now that you reminded us, why don't you tell us what you guys did yesterday after he took you with him." Disha suggested.
"Yeah, yesterday you were ignoring it but now you're telling us everything." Kriti sent a look to her sister.
"You guys are so nosy." Alia rolled her eyes.
"Well, that's what siblings are for." Shraddha smiled sweetly at her.
"Anyways, nothing big happened yesterday. We went to the beach, watched the sunset. Then headed to the supermarket where we - or more like I - did some shopping and that's where I bought chocolate for Kat and gave it to Varun to take it to her for me. That's it.." Alia explained briefly.
"Oh, that was it." Kriti said, sounding disappointed.
"If only you could see Varun's face when he saw you laying unconscious on the floor." Shraddha pointed out.
"Yeah, poor him. He looked so scared and worried." Disha added.
"What are you guys talking about!" Alia rolled her eyes for the millionth time that day.
"They're right, you know, Alia. Even I noticed how worried he was." Kriti agreed with her sisters.
"Hey girls." Sooraj walked in before any of them could say anything.
"When did you arrive?" Disha asked her brother, worried that he'd heard something.
"I just got here, why?" Sooraj looked at his sisters in confusion.
"Nothing, we're just wondering." Kriti replied, quickly just before Saif and Kareena walked in.
"Hey guys." They greeted their kids.
"Hey." They all replied in sync.
"So, you guys packed your stuff yet?" Said asked them making all 9f them look at him confused.
"Why should we?" Alia asked.
"Well, we're flying today." Kareena replied in a duh tone.
