"I said leave, Clay!" Nick yelled after throwing the garbage bags at the crying boy on the floor. "Do I need to call the cops?"
"No, Nick please we can talk this out," Dream was pleading, not wanting this to be the end of their friendship.
"I don't want you here anymore. Not after what you just pulled," his face was red with anger, almost like he was ready to punch Dream, kick him for real.
"I-it won't happen again! I swear just please-"
"No, get the fuck out. Now," he pointed to the front door. "I never want to see or hear from you again."
Dream started sobbing more than he was, to the point he couldn't breathe. Nick just looked at him, not giving a care in the world that his best- no, his old friend's heart was breaking into a million pieces. He wasn't sure how long he was sitting there, but Nick wasn't there anymore, and soon, Clay was being escorted out of the building.

"Get off!"
"Wake up! Clay you're scaring me!" Nick was shaking his friend awake, he had been screaming apologies for the past 5 minutes, and wouldn't wake up.
"I said get- Nick?" Dream was confused, he wasn't sure if he was still in his dream, or if he was finally awake. When he looked around and saw he was in Nick's real apartment, not the one in his nightmare, he calmed down.
"It's me, you're ok," Sapnap was running his hands up and down Dream's arms, trying to give him a sense of comfort after whatever the hell just happened in his nightmare.
"I- I'm sorry I-" tears welled up in his eyes and he tried to hide, but his arms were stuck in place by Nick's arms.
"Hey, no no no. Don't be sorry you did nothing wrong, ok? What happened?" even if he didn't know it, Sapnap had his own tears running down his face.
"You're crying," Dream felt awful. He didn't want this to happen, let alone in his best friends house, but it's happening and he can't do anything about it.
"I am?" he released one arm and wiped his cheek, feeling some wetness and laughing. "Sorry, you just scared the shit out of me."
"I'm sorry, it was just a nightmare," Dream confessed.
"Don't be sorry, you can't control it," Sapnap reassures, wiping Dream's tears off of his cheek, and Dream immediately nuzzled into the touch. "What was it about?"
"Uh, to be honest it was you yelling at me and saying you never wanted to talk to me again," Dream felt more tears start to form, but Sapnap was quick to wipe them away.
"That will never happen, ok? Is there something I can do? Hug you? Hell I'll cuddle with you if that's what you want," Sapnap laughed, and Dream smiled.
"C-can you just hold me? Until I fall back asleep?" Dream asked shyly.
"Yeah, of course. C'mere," Sapnap leaned back and laid back down on the couch, and Dream crawled up onto his chest and cuddled into his friend. Sapnap pulled the blanket over the two of them and turned on a movie, just to ease the mood. Sapnap fell asleep in no time, but Dream couldn't. He grabbed his phone and opened the camera and took a picture, smiling at the result.

George didn't respond, as usual. Dream sighed and put his phone back on the coffee table and just watched the movie. And without him even realizing, he was back asleep but with no nightmare this time.

Clay woke up cuddling to something. No, someone. He felt petting on his head, and purring of two cats and not just one. He was a bit confused, until he remembered about the nightmare and how Sapnap had offered to hold him.
"Sleep better?" Sapnap asked. He must have noticed the breathing patterns change and felt Dream move a little bit.
"Hey, morning," he tried to sit up, but there was a weight on his back. "What-"
"Patches and Mowgli discovered us a few hours ago," Sapnap giggled, shaking Dream a bit and making his hum.
"I was going to give you your space back but they have made it difficult," Dream laughed a little as well, letting his body relax back onto Sapnap's.
"I don't mind, really. You're keeping me warm," they both laughed a little and Dream reached over for his phone. The TV was off now, so it was mostly silent other than the fait purr of the cats that were on his back.
"Well, I need to pee," Dream sighed and tried to swat away the cats on his back, when they jumped off, he too got up from the couch, missing the warmth of Sapnap's touch. "Where's the bathroom, again?"
"3rd door on the left," Sapnap responded, not even looking up from his phone. When Dream entered the bathroom, he immediately turned on the faucet on cold and splashed his face with it.
"Stop overthinking it," he told himself. "He was being a good friend. Knows how much you like being held like that." He eventually ended up doing his business, washed his hands, and headed back out to the living room, but Sapnap wasn't there. "Nick, where are you?"
"Kitchen, making food. Are you hungry?" Sapnap asked. Dream walked into the kitchen and sat down on one of the barstools at the island.
"Yeah, watcha making?"
"Pancakes and bacon," Sapnap turned around and smiled, but quickly went back to mixing the batter together.
"Ohh, my favorite," Dream rubbed his hands together, making Sapnap laugh a little. "Oh, George said he's going to stream later, wants us to join."
"Yeah, that's fine. Do you know what he's going to be doing?" Nick asked.
"Not sure, probably just messing around on the SMP or doing another challenge video," Dream never asked what he was planning on doing, but they'd figure it out sooner or later.
"Just let me know when and I'll hop on call," Sapnap poured batter onto the skillet that he had put butter on. They were a simple pancake recipe that his mom had taught him when he was a kid. He also had put bacon into the oven already, ready to take it out any minute and flip it.
"How will we do it? No one knows we're together yet so do I stay in my room and play on my laptop or do we tell everyone?" Dream asked, making Sapnap stop what he was doing and think.
"If you want we can tell them and just hang out in my room. You're in the prison anyway so you can't play if we're on the SMP," he pointed out.
"We can announce it, yeah. Just not say anything about George coming next week," Dream explained. "How would we?"
"I mean, I took a picture of you sleeping last night, we can just put a cut out of your mask on top of your face and post it," Sapnap proposed, flipping a pancake and then opening the oven to flip the bacon as well.
"Why'd you take a picture of me sleeping?" Dream asked, raising his eyebrows.
"You were cute," he bluntly replied. "And I thought it'd be funny to send to George and rub it in his face that he isn't here yet."
"Ahh, makes sense," Dream nodded his head. "Do you have water in the fridge?"
"Yeah, should be on the bottom shelf," Sapnap pointed toward the fridge, put turned back around to put the bacon back in the oven. "Food will be done soon."

"Hey guys, welcome to the stream!" George greeted. "I have Dream and Sapnap on the call, they'll say hi in a minute, but today..." George explained what he was going to do in the stream today. He was going to do another challenge video, the one where the blocks change when he looks at them.
During that time, Sapnap was editing the photo of the sleeping Dream. Making sure to cut his face out of it just incase someone tried to do a reverse photoshop and try to make a face reveal. Right when he posted it, he unmuted and said hi.
"Hello George's stream!" Sapnap introduced himself.
"Hiii," Dream said in the background, making it muffled for George's stream.
"Chat, I can't help that Dream is far away from his mic, I can't turn up his own voice," George explained, deciding to ignore all the spams about Sapnap's post he just made.
"Sorry, I was on the bed. Didn't sleep much last night," Dream explained, ending the sentence with a yawn, automatically making Sapnap yawn as well.
"You made me yawn, man," Sapnap grumbled.
"Shouldn't have been looking at me then," Dream rolled his eyes. Chat exploded, the theories they already had from the picture were (hopefully) becoming a reality for them.
"Chat, you don't even know if they're together or not. They could just be on facetime or something," George explained, trying his best to not giggle. But soon, a donation came through on his end.
'have you really seen Dream's face? and are you fr ace?'
"Yes, and yes. I know I've never been open about my sexuality on stream because it's honestly only my business, but Dream is very attractive and if it wasn't for him having a slight crush on someone I'd go for it," George laughed, making Dream blush.
"DREAM'S BLUSHING!!" Sapnap screamed.
"I am not, fuck off," Dream snapped back, ultimately giving away that they were in the same room due to the echo.
"Yes you are," Sapnap snapped back. "Why'd you blush when George calls you cute but this morning you just complained about Patches and Mowgli being on your back when I did."
"Sapnap!"
"Nick!"
"What?" Sapnap was confused on what he did. But then it clicked. "Oh shit, I said that on stream didn't I?"
"Yes, you dumbass. I thought you were waiting and just going to give out hints like you did a few minutes ago," George said somewhat sternly, but in a joking manner of course.
"Oops," Sapnap giggled, somewhat nervously. Hoping Dream wasn't upset.
"Yes guys, it is true. I did what I said and I am in Texas! I got here yesterday afternoon," Dream explained.
"I knew before anyone," George giggled. "I also have some expert best friend secrets that spilled out to me over that past few days."
"GEORGE!" Dream yelled.
"Not on stream!" Sapnap widened his eyes, hoping George wouldn't say anything to Dream.
"Oh shush, I wouldn't tell the other about it anyways, let alone thousands of people on stream," George glanced over at chat. "No chat, I don't think Dream knows what Sapnap's secret and vise versa."
"You're keeping more secrets from me?" Dream asked in a baby voice, also making puppy dog eyes to be more dramatic.
"Oh fuck off, you're keeping your little crush from me. What does George have that I don't?" Sapnap whined, also pretending to be hurt, but his face said otherwise.
"Is poor Sappy Nappy going to be all sad he doesn't know?" Dream teased.
"Hey, don't feel too bad, he has a little crush too. Don't let your ego get too big, Dream," George explained.
"George I'm going to hang up if you keep exposing me like this," Sapnap threatened, trying his best to sound serious over the suppressed laughs he was keeping.
Another donation came through, and all three boys heard it. 'Plot twist- Dream and Sapnap are crushing on each other lol #dreamnap irl'
Both boys flushed a deep pink, refusing to look at the other while they tried to laugh it off and not make the situation awkward.
"No chat, you don't even know if Dream and Sapnap like guys, don't force them to come out or reveal who it is. They're obviously both uncomfortable," George made sure calm down chat and make sure to message his mods to stop any and all donations that are relave to this conversation. He then proceeded to continue his stream like no tension was between any of them.
