The Singers of Ardonia

Lucan was sitting at the campsite he made before he met Niika, he was waiting for a necromancer to show his face, and Niika was waiting to strike it down. Finally, undead with white glowing eyes, and a necromancer with an iron spear, appeared from the bushes.
    "The felina female that was with you the other night, where is she now?" The necromancer said, as he kicked Lucan off of his log.
    "Augh, what night are we talking about? I get my felina girls mixed up." Lucan said as he sat up.
    "Don't fool with me scum, I want to know where-" The necromancer said as Niika pounced onto the undead he was controlling, and killed all three undead. She then kicked the necromancer away from Lucan and put her foot on his chest.
    "Looking for me?" Niika said as she put her katanas onto her back.
    "As a matter a fact, I was." The necromancer said, coughing.
    "Well here I am, now it's my turn to ask the questions." Niika said, kicking the necromancer away.
    "I'm not telling you anything, the necromancers will soon rise, and cover the world in dark-" The necromancer said as Niika punched him in the nose, knocking him out.
    "Wha- Niika!" Lucan said, furious trying to get information.
    "What? You heard him, he said he wasn't going to tell us anything." Niika said, trying to defend herself.
    "Well what now, we're stuck in the middle of a jungle with an unconscious psychopathic necromancer." Lucan said as Niika reached into his pockets, picking out a purple stone.
    "Obsidian, where would there be obsidian in this area?" Niika said as Lucan kneeled down next to her.
    "The only volcano around, Mt. Tempus." Lucan said as Niika perked up.
    "Yes, no miner would go there because of all the lava, it's the perfect place for a hideout!" Niika said excitedly.
    "How do we get there without getting spotted by the necromancers?" Lucan said as Niika scratched her chin.
    "I could disguise myself in his robes, and go undercover down under the volcano?" Niika said as she picked up his unconscious body.
    "One problem, that was a human male, would be kinda weird if a felina female showed up at their place." Lucan said as Niika scratched her chin again.
    "I'm a human male by the way." Lucan said as Niika threw him the robes.
    "Fine, just put on the robes." Niika said as Lucan picked up the robes, and put them on. They walked over to the volcano at the westernmost point of Ardonia, spying a cave leading downwards, a light shone from the cave as a bat flew out of it.
    "Augh, it's hot, and itchy!" Lucan complained as Niika handed him the skull mask.   
    "It's only going to get worse inside the volcano." Niika tried his best to reassure him, obviously failing to.
    "Great..." Lucan said as he started down the cave into the light that emerged from below, probably lava.
    "Hey, bring our little friend back to the Oakendale prison." Lucan said, turning back to her.
    "I didn't know Oakendale had a prison?" Niika said in concern.
    "Well, it does." Lucan said as he turned back to the volcano.
    "You sure?" Niika said.
    "Pretty darn." Lucan reassured her.
    "How do you know?" Niika said with concern in her tone of voice.
    "Wha- nothing, it just does, now if you don't mind I'm going undercover." Lucan said as he started back down the volcano.
    "Hey, good luck, try not to die." Niika said as she ran back to her tree fort, Lucan turned to face her running off.
    "I'm going to need more than luck..." Lucan said to himself as he continued down the volcano. He strolled through the tunnel, watching his steps because there were many lava pits sitting around. Undead started from the back, and the front.
    "Oh great." Lucan said, taking out his iron blade.
    "Wait a second." Lucan said as he reached into his pockets and raised the skull at the ones behind him, they stopped. The ones in front of him started forward, he kept switching until they all stopped, another necromancer jumped down and struck the ground with his iron sword, he then swiped it around him and raised another wither skull. The zombies eyes turned white and the necromancer threw the skull, and the zombies followed it.
    "I suspected you would've learned by now." His scraggly voice echoing through the cave.
    "I take it you didn't kill the felina..." The necromancer said.
    "No, she escaped when she saw me sneaking up on her." Lucan said, deepening his voice.
    "Pity, I take it you're the new rookie, I'm Xaria, it seems the felina is more of a threat than we suspected, let's report this to his lordship." Xaria said as he led Lucan to the center of the necromancer base. It was full of lava pillars and thousands of undead in pits. Xaria left to go down to talk to the leader of the necromancers, the Necrolord.
    "Master, the felina escaped." Xaria called over to the kneeling necromancer with a staff, he stood up and his staff glistened as he turned around and raised it, the undead groaning and looking around confused, trying to deny the necromancers influence, his staff was the skull of a full wither, and it's spine still attached, the necromancers kneeled as the necrolord looked at Lucan, and pointed the face of the skull at him. Lucan was frightened, he backed up until Xaria called to him.
    "You there, come with us, we have a new mission." Xaria said with another necromancer next to him. We ran out of the cave and up to the tree, which was Niika's fort.
    "Time to put an end to this nuisance, burn it." Xaria said to Lucan, as Lucan took out the flint and steel inside of his robes.
    "O- Oh, would you look at that my flint and steel appears to be broken." He said as he threw it away.
    "Here, take mine." Xaria said as he threw him a flint and steel. Lucan stared at the tree, he wouldn't be able to do this.
    "What's the matter rookie? Or should I say, traitor!" Xaria said as he ripped Lucan's mask off and Lucan took out his iron sword.
    "I knew it, I knew there was something wrong about you the moment I met you, I should've let the undead kill you right then!" Xaria said as he took out his own iron sword.
    "You will watch helplessly as everything you fought for is destroyed and burned and after that, we will find the felina girl, and we will kill her." Xaria said as Lucan charged at him, Xaria spun, lighting the tree on fire and clashing blades, Lucan kept swinging and hitting Xaria's sword, then Lucan tried to aim for the neck, and Xaria dodged it, and rolled backwards. Xaria then kicked Lucan in the stomach when Lucan charged at him.   
    "Perhaps we'll feed her to the spiders, they have quite the appetite." Xaria said as his other necromancer friend was shot in the head by an arrow. Niika jumped between three zombies and spun, cutting all their heads off. Lucan picked up his sword and killed a zombie while Niika fought Xaria. Lucan and Niika backed into each other, Niika putting her swords up to him.
    "Wait Niika, it's me!" Lucan said putting his hood down.
    "Lucan!?" She said as Xaria ran back in the direction of the volcano.
    "All my information is up there." Niika yelled as she tried to climb the burning tree.
    "There's no time, we have to get across the river!" Lucan yelled as he grabbed Niika to the river bank.
    "Wait, Lucan..." Niika said in fear.
    "You're not afraid of fighting zombies or killing necromancers, but you're scared of jumping in the water!" Lucan said as he gestured to the slow moving water.
    "I can't swim, felina's hate water, we hate-" Niika was cut off by Lucan throwing her into the water, Lucan dived in after her, they appeared above the water with Niika on Lucan's back.
    "Ow, watch the claws." Lucan said as he dragged Niika onto the other side, they sat down onto the river bank near Felden.
    "Don't you ever, throw me in the water again." Niika said as they both looked at the burning jungle.
    "Sorry about your tree fort." Lucan said as it started to rain.
    "The fire won't spread far with the rain." Lucan reassured her.
    "I'm not worried about the tree fort, all my information on the necromancers is in there." Niika said sadly.
    "We didn't lose it all, all that information is still with you... and with me." Lucan said as Niika looked up at him with shock.
    "I found the necrobase Niika." He said as Niika jumped up with joy.
    "Really! Where is it?" She retorted.
    "Directly underneath Mt. Tempus." Lucan said as Niika started through the remainder of the jungle, towards Felden.
    "We have to report this to Felden, before they grow in strength." Lucan said as Niika followed him back to Felden.
