The next afternoon Amelia went to Miami's office, he wasn't there but his assistant was, "Hey Beth, is he in a meeting?"
The brunette smiles, "Yes but he should be back any minute if you want to wait in his office? I wouldn't usually do that but it's you so he won't mind and he has nothing else in the diary for today."
"Thank you," Amelia returns the smile, pushing the door to his office open she intended to take a seat on the sofa but feeling mischievous seeing the big empty chair behind the desk she decides to sit there.
She's sat there for a few minutes looking out the window, "Is there a reason you're sat in my chair?" Miami smiles when he comes back into his office.
"Yes, Queen has fired you and I'm taking over. This is my office now," She grins playfully.
He chuckles shutting the door behind him while Amelia moves to sit on the chair in front of the table, "You remind me of your dad when you do stuff like that."
She shrugs, "I am my father's daughter."
"So Brian said you want to try screen acting?" He took a seat in his chair.
"Yes. I love the theatre but I just want a change, to try something different I just don't know where to start."
"I can make some inquires get back to you. I'm guessing her only looking for small roles, to begin with?"
"Yes, I want to get a taste for being behind the screen and see if I like it. I may be asking too much of you but would you be willing to be my agent?" She knows that Queen keeps him busy.
He smiles, "If you want me to. Brian also said you might want to try music, is that true?"
"Maybe but I'm not sure. Music is a full-time thing and I'm not sure if I want to stop acting," She currently trying to wrap her brain around songwriting.
"Fair enough, I get back to you in a few days about roles. Now, I have a favour to ask of you, you still see John don't you?"
"Deaky?" Amelia frowns, "Yes I do, why?"
He pulls some paperwork out of his briefcase and drops it onto the desk, "Queen or Brian and Roger want to look at doing a film about Queen. Or more specifically about Freddie Mercury and his life, it's a long way off. We need to create the script, find the right director, cast, all of it but we can't go anywhere without John approval. Being about Queen it involves him too, I doubt he will want to be part of making it but we do need his approval."
"Brian was telling me about it yesterday, I like the sound of it," The world deserves to know about the incredible man her dad was, "But why are you telling me?
"I'm telling you because I want you to take this to him and ask him. I was going to mail it to him but it's important we get it signed asap and I don't want it getting lost in the post."
She takes the paperwork and slips it into her bag, "I'll go now then get it back to you. Thank you for helping me."
"Your welcome."

Doing has Miami asks she drives towards the Deacon's, parking outside she knocks on the door and waits. It's Luke that answers the door, "Alright Lukey boy, hows the band stuff going?"
"It's on hold. I just wish I could find I permanent one," He steps aside letting her in, "You here to see dad?"
"Your only 16 and your time will come, just don't lose your passion for it. Yes is he here?" Despite not seeing him often she gets on well with Luke.
"Yeah come through," He leads her to the living room, "Dad, Milly's here to see you."
"Hi Uncle Deaks," She hugs him once he's stood up, he's aged a fair bit since she last saw him, having an army of children and grandchildren can do that but he's still her Uncle.
"This is a lovely surprise," John smiles retaking his seat, "how is everything?"
"Slow at the moment after coming back from New York," She hugs Veronica as well before taking a seat herself.
"New York?" John raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah I moved with my role as Eponine to Broadway, did that for two years then got the lead role as Elphaba in Wicked for a year and a half before coming home. I'm looking to change to screen acting at the moment see if I like it, Miami's helping me look."
"You won a Tony award didn't you?" Luke chips in coming back into the room with the magazine article in hand.
"What?" Veronica gasps looking at the cover picture.
"Yeah, I did, for my role as Elphaba. Luke, why are you reading Glamour Magazine?" She teases.
Luke blushed, "I don't but I saw you on the cover and was curious as to why? Admittedly the woman in the shop gave me the same look."
"I haven't seen it yet. It was only released yesterday, that front cover is what I wore to the We Will Rock You premiere."
"What about this one?" Veronica points to the picture of her in the Tony dress on the feature page.
"That was the Tony Awards. You remember Brianna, that's her fashion brand. She asked me to be her official model."
"It was the right contract then," John smiles remembering their visit.
"What about you? Any new developments? Boyfriend?" Veronica pokes.
"Yes actually. His name is Michael, we've been together for a month. Still early days but I'm hoping it works."
"So what's the reason for your visit or are you just stopping by?" John asks knowing her too well.
"Yes. Can we talk in the study," She asks.
John gets the message and they head out of the room, she follows behind.
"Is this Queen business?" He asked closing the door.
"Yes but not what you think. Brian and Roger want to make a film about dad and Queen. They're not asking you to be part of it if you don't want to be but they do need your approval to be able to move forward since it will include bits of your life."
"How much of my life? I don't want my children lives to become public," That's one of the reasons he retired so his children's lives wouldn't be splashed across the newspaper. He knows the Luke wants to go into music and he's fine with that, that's Luke's choice.
"There are no scripts yet. It is very early days but it won't contain any of the Queen children or wives, though they may be one or two moments that Veronica might be in the scene but nothing personal or private. If you approve I'll do what I can to make sure that your children aren't in it though they could be mentioned."
He nods, "That I can live with. They're a big part of my life so it would only be right that they are mentioned but nothing more."
"Brian and Roger don't want their children in it either, it purely about dad and Queen. Dad's life will go into a bit more detail but it's about him so..." She wouldn't be in it either she doesn't need to be, she wasn't part of his life until the last few years and by what Brian has told her they're not going that late in his timeline, "Will you sign it?"
"Yes, I approve," He takes the paperwork, signing where he needs to, "But I won't be apart of it."
She'd love to try and change his mind but it's not going to happen and she doesn't want him to sever ties with her so she leaves him be, "Thank you. Now I need to go, I need to get this back to Miami before going home."
John walks her to the door hugging her before she drives away.

Since Michael is at work all day and she is bored Amelia decides to visit Roger. She hasn't seen him for a while.
Like always she knocks loudly before walking into the house, "Hi Uncle Rog!" She calls through the house but gets no reply at first. She frowns then hears the sound of drums and follows it to the home studio.
The door to the studio is open Amelia watches Rufus play in the recording booth while Roger is sat at the mixing desk, back to her.
She sneaks up behind him and slapping her hands down on his shoulders making him jump a mile off his seat, as well as a few curse words, "Bloody hell, Milly. You're going to give me a heart attack doing that," He glares at her.
She laughs dropping into the spare chair next to him, "Sorry couldn't resist."
His glare turns into a smile, "This is an unexpected visit to what do I owe the pleasure?"
"No reason haven't seen you in a while and I was bored."
"Oh, I see how it is I only get a visit when your bored and your boyfriend is at work," He teases.
"Well I've been busy," She tries to cover up her guilty feeling.
He continues his teasing, "I know what kind of busy you're referring too."
"Don't be a hypocrite Mr I shagged half the girls in London during the early '70s. I'm sure you were to busy to go and see your parents too," She bites back receiving a smack on the back of the head.
Roger shakes his head but laughing, "Where are you getting this information from because I certainly didn't tell you?"
"You're not denying it then?" She giggles ducking when he tries to hit her over the head with the paper in his hand.
"Hey Milly, you been here long?" Rufus interrupts leaning against the door frame wiping a towel over the back of his neck.
"About fifteen minutes."
"What a..." Rufus is interrupted when Amelia phone rings.
"Oh sorry," She slips her phone from her pocket, "Oh it's Miami hold on. Hi Miami."
"Afternoon Milly, I have a role for you. You don't need an audition for it, the director knows you're new to screen acting but have worked in theatre, the role is yours if you want it and it is a side role. It will require a little travelling but not for months on end it's only a week."
"Amazing, I don't mind a little travelling I just don't want to be up routed for months um... let me just grab a pen and paper," She looks to Roger pleading for him to get her what she needs.
Rufus hands her the pen off the mixing desk and Roger grabs the notebook off the coffee table, "Okay I'm listening."
"It's for the new Narnia film, Voyage of the Dawn Trader. Your playing Lilliandil, it's a very small role towards the end of the film but it is a speaking role. Now you will be going to Queensland, Australia for a week, from the 12th to the 18th of October."
She writes down the information, "I've never been to Australia so that should be fun," Sarcasm laced in her voice she really isn't a big fan of flying, "But I love the Narnia films and books so I look forward to it."
"So you want the role?"
"Oh yes definitely," It's only a small role and that what she wants now and who knows maybe she'll enjoy it.
"Your welcome, I'll get back to them and drop the script round when I have it. Did you want me to leave the role haunting for now and let you try this role first?"
"Yes, please. I don't want to say yes to loads and end up hating it so this is a good starting point, thank you again for helping me Miami."
"Your welcome. I'll see you soon," He hung up and Amelia sighs in relief.
"Good news?" Roger asks.
"Yep I have a film role in the next Narnia film," She explains the phone conversation as they head to the kitchen, Roger makes them a coffee.
The acting roles I picked for Amelia are a bit random but hope you don't mind me replacing certain actresses? It's nothing against the film or actress, they are just roles that I think would suit Amelia.
