Graceland cemetery, Chicago Illinois.
Walking down the cobblestone path was the Conrad family, along with the Brooks family. John Conrad with his sister Maria Conrad and Aaron Brooks with them where their parents, Monarch veterans James Conrad, Mason Weaver and Houston Brooks.
James: it has been 50 years since the Skull Island incident in 73. We remember it like it was yesterday.
Maria: I'm amazed Kong was just around the size of a house then... Now he's as big as a building!
Aaron: Maria, remember *finger on his lips* this is a cemetery
Maria: *quietly* sorry...
Mason: it's alright, Maria. Here it is.
The 6 Monarch operatives stood together and looked down upon a gravestone. On the gravestone it read.
Lieutenant Hank Marlow
Born: 9th March 1917
Died: 15th December 2005
The gravestone had Marlow's plane engraved onto it, including the words "Death Before Dishonour"
Houston: when he was near the end, his wish was to be buried with his friend's sword. His wish was granted.
Aaron: what was his friend again?
James: Gunpei Ikari, they lived on the island with the Iwi. Over the years they became from enemies to friends, in fact almost brothers. They swore to never leave eachother's side in Skull Island's harsh environment, unfortunately while attempting to build the boat to finally get off Skull Island, one of the Skullcrawlers got to him.
John: tragic. At least their both at peace now
Mason: yep, *places flowers on Marlow's grave* let's go home
They nodded in agreement and left their old friend's resting place peacefully.
