We didn't touch each other as we emerged from the study. My heart was about to bounce out of my chest. I was still shocked by my own actions.

We hardly talked to the Illingworths when a slow song started to play. I took Barbra's hand and guided her to the dance floor.

I must have made an audible gulp when I felt Bruce's hand grasp my hip becuase he smirked down at me.
We started to glide on the dance floor and I was trying very hard not to look down at my feet. Having Bruce so close to me after what just happend was making my nerves go sky high.
