Tommy watched Techno sleep and he grinned. His phone was left alone on the nightstand. Channeling his inner Wilbur, Tommy snuck into his room and grabbed the phone. He snuck back out of the room and snickered as he unlocked it.
"Tommy? What are you doing!" Tubbo hissed as Tommy went through his phone, "What if Dad finds out!"
"That's why we cause as much damage as possible before he does," Tommy smiled and opened his texts, "Bingo."
Tubbo watched Tommy send a few joke texts to Wilbur, earning an angry response. He then moved on to Phil, who scolded Tommy to give the phone back. They quietly laughed and Tubbo stopped Tommy from going through Techno's work contacts.
They were interrupted by a phone call, jumping when they heard Techno slowly shift. Tommy took the phone and ran into the room, nearly colliding with Techno.
"Uh- Here! It was in the kitchen and we heard it go off so-"
"Tommy being nice with no strings attached?" Techno yawned and took the phone, ruffling his hair, "When'd you grow up?"
He gave Techno a nervous smile and stepped out as Techno answered, "Tubbo that was too close-"
Tubbo shook head as Techno hung up, "Just don't, it's easy."
"Just don't what?" Techno said as he leaned in the doorway, covering another yawn.
"Just don't hurt myself. I just uh, accidentally stubbed my toe," Tommy smiled at him, "You look tired still, you should go to sleep."
Techno nodded, "I'm exhausted, but I can't just sleep all day."
Tommy shoved Techno back into his room, his eyes on the phone, "Aw don't worry about it, Big Man! Us men need our rest! A few hours won't kill you!"
"I mean... I guess..." Techno mumbled and got into bed, "Here, since you're all grown up can you set an alarm for 2 hours?"
Tommy smiled as Techno held out the unlocked phone, "You got it, Big Man! Get some rest! Good night!"
Tubbo looked up as Tommy closed the door behind him, "You only escaped because he's tired."
"I'm just that good, Tubbo. I've known Techno my whole life, he's just that easy to scam," Tommy smiled as he sat down, "Now for the crowning jewel."
Niki looked down as her phone started going off. She opened it to find Techno sending her multiple inappropriate texts.
She turned a bit red and called, a little confused. It rang for a few times before there was an answer, "Techno, what the fuck-"
"Heyyyy Niki! What's- Whats up? I was just-" Tommy's nervous rambling was cut off as there was a thud.
"Tommy, it doesn't take like an hour to set an alarm. Give me my phone-"
"It's ok, Techno! It's just Niki!"
Niki heard the sound of wrestling before silence, "Hello?"
"Hey, sorry. Tommy had my phone," Techno yawned, "Whats up?"
"That would explain a lot. You might want to check your texts," Niki laughed as Techno put her on speaker and looked.
"I- Tommy! Oh, when I get my hands on you!" Techno yelled and a door was slammed closed, "I'm so sorry- I was sleeping and they- I swear to God..."
"It's fine, Techno. Go kick his ass," Niki laughed as Techno hung up.
"Tubbo, you just let him do that?" Techno looked at Tubbo sitting on the couch.
"Well- There wasn't much I could do anyway..." Tubbo mumbled and looked down.
"Uh, how about stopping him?" Techno snapped at him and turned to the closed door, "Tommy, you got 5 seconds to get out of there or you better start praying."
"I'm not coming out!"
"5."
Tommy looked at the mirror, "4."
"Fine! Fine!" Tommy opened the door and internally shrunk at Techno's glare. Not wanting to appear weak, he puffed out his chest and met his gaze, "What?"
"If murder was legal, you would be so dead," Techno growled before grabbing his wrist and sitting him next to Tubbo, "Alright, now you two are going to call every single person you texted and you're gonna apologize. Do I make myself clear?"
The pair grumbled in agreement and Techno tossed them his phone. They sat there for about half an hour, earning a verbal scolding from Phil, loud laughter from Wilbur, a string of insults from Fundy, and a quiet acceptance from Niki.
"God- I don't even know what to do with you two," Techno groaned and rubbed his eyes.
"Sorry, Dad..." Tubbo sniffled and wiped his puffy, red eyes.
"Sorry," Tommy mumbled and crossed his arms.
"It's embarrassing, you know. Your jokes aren't cute, Tommy. They're annoying and a pain in the ass and you should be old enough to realize that. Thank God you have enough decency to stay within our family, what do you think would happen if you sent something like that to my boss? Or any of my colleagues? Actually, even what you sent to Niki was too far."
Techno took a deep breath and looked at Tubbo, "And you. Just because Tommy is doing something incredibly stupid doesn't mean that you can just sit by and do nothing. If he's doing something stupid, then make him stop. Don't just sit by and let it happen. Do you hear me?"
Tubbo nodded, keeping his eyes trained on the floor. Tommy huffed and nodded, looking to the left. Techno sighed and snatched his phone back from Tommy's hand.
"You're both grounded indefinitely. Until you can prove to me you're able to act your age, there's no gaming, no TV, no phones, nadda."
"What if Dad calls?" Tommy looked at him.
"Are you stupid? Never mind, based on your actions that's a yes. He'll call me and I'll sit there while you two talk. Same goes for you and Niki, Tubs."
Tommy huffed and crossed his arms again, "So what are we supposed to do all day?"
Techno smiled, "I thought you'd never ask."
As Tommy and Tubbo folded towels, Techno changed his password and went back to bed.
