Kaminari was the first to break the stunned silence that had fallen over the group (All exept for Aizawa who was just sitting back and observing the drama and hoping something interesting would happen).
"Hold up, hold up. Bakugou you actually know Tennmillion?! And why did you not tell us?! Come on dude I thought we were friends!" the Pikachu lookalike exclaimed, offended.
"Yeah bakubro" Kirishima added "Even I have to say, not cool."
"Shut it extras." Katsuki said defensively "It's not like we're best buds or some shit, knew each other when we were younger, and for the record I haven't spoken to the nerd since he came to UA three years ago!"
"Only 'cause you've been ignoring me like the plague" Deku mutterd making the whole class jump. Katsuki's cheeks flared with heat.
"Have not."Katsuki lied, obviously flustered, a side of him that class 1-A had never seen before and were endlessly and amused by also.
"Fine you're not ignoring me. But you do duck into the nearest hiding spot whenever you see me out and about. I've come across you like, four times at least."
The rose colour of Bakugou's cheeks deepened.
"Well, I didn't see you." Katsuki stated, a weak defence for what was obviously a lie.
"Sure kid." Deku replied sarcastically., waving a dismissive hand in the blonde's direction, casually brushing the topic away.
Nobody brought it up again (valuing the integrity of their bones) so things went on as usual.
Everyone introduced themselves and told Deku a bit about their quirks.
"I would love to learn more immediately, but I will be doing one on one sessions with each of you to descuss you're quirks and the best ways to utilize them in combat and rescue situations." Izuku explained, his eyes lit up with a burning excitement and intensity at all the new quirks he would get to see in action. Katsuki recognized this side of him from their youth. He was the same as ever here, in his element.
When they were done, the class headed back inside chatting exitedly about the upcoming days. Katsuki stayed silent, quiet for once as he became tangled in his thoughts , the blush still lingering on his face.

Flashback; brought to you by, The Plot
Izuku and Katsuki's moms were friends from high school, so naturally their sons grew up together. Izuku was three years older than Katsuki, but was usually shy and cheerful where as little Katsuki had always been a hot head.
When Izuku was in middle school, he watched over Katsuki a lot while their moms were out. Today was one of those days.
Katsuki ran around on the playground jumping, climbing and pretending to explosion murder imaginary villains. Izuku sat on a short wall made of stones surrounding a patch of dirt with plants while doing homework. Izuku had a bandage on his left cheek and a nasty bruise on his side, along with various other injuries from a particularly brutal beating from the bullies at his school.
Katsuki ran over to Izuku, noticing the tears that had started to pool in Izuku's eyes.
"Izu, why are you crying. Again." Katsuki said in a not-at-all-concerned tone.
"It's nothing" Izuku mumbled, wiping his eyes with the sleeves of his school uniform.
"Oh come on Izu, not even you cry for nothing." Katsuki said, scowling.
"Fine. I'm just tired of not being able to defend myself. Every time I use my quirk I hurt myself even worse than they hurt me. I just feel useless." Izuku lamented.
"That is pretty lame. If you're quirk is useless than you're a just Deku" Katsuki said matter-of-fact-ly
"Yeah, I guesse" Izuku sighed, a small amused smile forming on his lips.
"Hmph. You should train more. Then you could be a pretty awesome hero, like All Might. Then you won't be a Deku anymore. You won't be cooler than me though"
"Yeah I guess. You make it sound so simple." Izuku replied
"Cause it is. You just gotta do it." Katsuki crossed his arms in front ont of his chest and gave Izuku a stern look witch made Izuku have told back a laugh.
"Kid logic" Izuku mutterd to himself as a grin threatened to take over his face.
"Come on. Lest leave. I'm bored." Katsuki said, already turning away.
"Fine." Izuku conseaded with a smile, getting up from his place on the wall.
"Hurry up, Deku" Katsuki yelled, already almost all the way to the road.
Izuku sighed and ran after the small boy.
"You just gotta do it."
