konoha was in the club room, when already left except bokuto and washio when he heard washio say
                          
"why do you have a date to the winter formal, don't get me wrong i'm happy for you but i thought you liked akaashi"
                          
oh shit, should i be listening to this ..? um i think the fuck yes
                          
"i do. i really do it's just, i heard him tell konoha he didn't like me, and i was planning on asking him out for winter formal but when i heard that, i decided not to"
                          
so he does like him.. he just didn't hear the other part, THIS IS GREAT I HAVE TO TELL AKAASHI
                          
konoha left the club room like a ninja, and saw akaashi sitting down drinking water, he went over to him 
                          
"akaashi you won't believe what i heard on the clu-" konoha said before stopping himself when an idea popped into his head
                          
"what did you hear and where ?" konoha smirked "so bokuto doesn't like the girl, and i was thinking im formal night you can...."
                          
"are you sure ?" he said unsure "yes i am you have to do it at formal night" akaashi sighed "okay.." 
                          
they stopped talking when bokuto and washio left the club room 
                          
akaashi found himself smiling alittle knowing bokuto doesn't like taia
                          
bokuto eyes met his crushes eyes, and saw akaashi smiling at him and bokuto couldn't help but smile as well 
                          
akaashi shook his head and stood up to continue practice 
                          
time skip ~
                          
practice finished and the two boys started walking home together
                          
"so aggaashi do you have a date to winter formal..?" bokuto said breaking the silence 
                          
"oh no i dont, i've gotten asked out but i denied them all" akaashi said looking up at bokuto "oh why ?"
he said curiously 
                          
"i don't like them and i don't wanna say yes knowing i don't like them" he said truthfully
                          
"oh.." he responded with "yeah but i don't need a date in order to go" he said before looking down "besides i'm gonna do something at winter formal.." he mumbled that part which bokuto didnt hear 
                          
"oh okay, well even though i'm going with taia, we can hang out together there" he said smiling  "yeah i'd like that" akaashi said smiling as he was still looking down 
                          
bokuto dropped akaashi home and for some reason once bokuto arrived home he found himself smiling but, akaashi was smiling as well
