It had been so long since Ben and Jyn were together. His best friend in the entire galaxy. The one person he knew who had always tried to be better than him while they were training. He couldn't believe that she was alive. Ben pulled away and looked at Jyn.
"After all these years," he said. "How is it possible?"
Jyn just stared at him and then looked around, "Follow me quick we can't talk here, I know a place where we can chat in private."
Rey and Ben followed her down the darkest alley it lead through all sorts of twists and turns. They made it down a corridor of what looked to be homes. But these homes were all bolted shut, some even had children in the and no parents. They came to one and Jyn sealed it shut and made sure that no one else was nearby. The door was locked and bolted.
She lived in a very small place but it seemed good enough.
Then they got down to some answers.
"How are you still alive?" was the first questioned he asked her.
"What do you mean?" she asked.
"They told me that your ship was destroyed during your first mission and that you didn't make it out and there were no survivors."
"Well obviously you can tell that you were given the wrong piece of information, because I'm still alive," she said
She looked at him and then she looked at Rey, "Aren't you going to introduce me?" she pointed her head at Rey.
"Oh right, Rey this my best friend Jyn, Jyn this is my wife Rey."
"It's nice to meet you again," Rey said.
"Well I do what I can to help," she smiled. "Ridley!"she called.
He knew that name as well.
"Yes?" a woman said.
"Come out here, we have guest and you might remember one of them."
They saw a woman step out from above she looked a bit shorter than Jyn but had blonde hair braided back and mostly wore grey and black.
She immediately saw Ben.
"No way, this can't be," she said.
"It's good to see you Ridley," he said. "But right now I have so many questions."
"Um, how about first we tell your wife how we know each other because she looks very confused right now," Jyn said.
"I don't know where to start though."
"Well for starters, we met when we were four years old when we were training under Luke Skywalker," she said. "We became very close friends around when we were six and we just kind of bonded over everything, and of course Ridley always picked on him."
"I wouldn't say always," she said.
"You pushed him in the mud, threw rocks at him, and put a frog in his pants."
"We were kids, just continue the story."
"Anyway, every time we trained I always tried to compete with Ben because I wanted to be better than him, but my pride just made me lose sight of what I needed to do. When we turned 20-21 years old, Luke gave me my first mission and said that I was to go to Corellia and help the people here, when I was heading there my ship was under attack and it did get destroyed but I got into an escape pod and I still made my way to here. When I landed I tried to get back to Skywalker but it was impossible to get past security in the airport and I realized I was going to be stuck here for a while."
